Hi I’m Paul Ferraro I’m from San Diego California and brotherhood to me means loyalty hi I’m Jefferson Kibby from Baytown Texas and brotherhood to me means an unbreakable bond hello I am Alexander Chen and I am from Los Altos California brotherhood means to always have each other’s backs
Hi my name is hunter Edmund and brotherhood to me means family hello my name is Oliver Bell I’m from Los Angeles and to me Brotherhood is friendship a major general art Bartel and I’m from Brooklyn New York to me Brotherhood is about camaraderie hi I’m Gunnar Jonsson from Arnhem Minnesota and
Brotherhood to me means companionship Brotherhood to me means unity to me Brotherhood means loyalty Brotherhood is something that is unique Brotherhood means camaraderie Brotherhood is trust Brotherhood means making lifetime memories the friends I’ve made here are worth more to me than almost anything else from the world
Brotherhood is bonds and I plan on carrying that bond with me throughout my life around campus you see these kids come in from all over the United States and all around the world but to see them come together in just a few days or a few weeks and actually treat each other like
Brothers it’s an amazing sight to see Brotherhood means to me lifelong friends you can always count on I’ve created some close friendships close bonds with these cadets here some of my own cadets who are in my company and others from around from all over the place and they have become family to me
Brotherhood is something that you don’t see or feel just anywhere Brotherhood is something that you see only in rare places in places that actually care about Brotherhood had a a a lot of things exemplify Brotherhood but what I see day in and day out for the many
Years that I’ve been here is cadets supporting each other during tough times helping each other picking each other up when you need to be picked up having each other’s backs that’s what we see here on army debut camp you know when somebody needs help on their homework you you ask if they
Need help if they’re seeing a little don’t the day you just sit by them and know that they are here for you and you are here for them they’ve all experienced the same thing they’ve started from ground zero and they’ve built themselves back up and they all have the same goal common goal
And that’s to graduate here as a warrior My favorite thing about army-navy Academy is how it allows us to bond with their fellow cadets and how supportive the staff and the teachers are we have such a great community of faculty staff talk officers counselors support staff everybody works together to support the
Boys and that is our goal is to be here for these young men we’re here to mentor them we’re here to educate them and we’re here to just make the best young cadets that we can one of my goals the Army Navy Academy has really helped me a
Lot with was being athletic and fit because before I came to army navy Academy I would lounge about on the couch all day but now coming here I have sports to do and I’m able to get out there and actually be active [Applause] With my experience at AAA I’ll take away that with whatever life may throw at you or whatever obstacles you may face that with a little hard work and determination you will find success wherever you may see good a warrior means to be respectful kinds and to
Always persevere and try as hard as you can and to try new things even if I feel I can’t do it I will try my best to accomplish it my law school I didn’t have many opportunities to succeed in academics and or athletics but when I came to army-navy Academy I realized
That I too can succeed in both of those things I have gained time management skills I have had plenty of leadership opportunities and I have also acquired some lifelong friends I have grown a lot since I’ve been here at ena other than growing 5-inches I have developed and
Learned leadership skills that helped me and allow me to lead the middle school cadets which have helped develop my confidence and build my communication skills army and navy Academy is just a unique place it is literally like a family to have the students cadets treat
Each other the way they do I mean sure they pick on each other every once in a while but they sure come together when they need to to support each other and just be there for each other during the tough times and the good times whether
It’s winning out on the field or getting those fantastic grades in the classroom it is truly a family and a brotherhood I’ve grown from being a lazy boy living in Australia person who used to go to school watch TV eat dinner then go to sleep to now becoming a self-motivated
Cadet a cadet who can count on these brothers as I continue to grow I’m just so happy to work here with all the faculty we have the boys still after nine years bring me joy every day yes they bring me a lot of wrinkles and gray
Hair as well but it’s so worth it and I love it and I’m so happy to be here and I just I hope that I can continue working here for a long time Army Navy Academy is about boys we believe in boys that’s what makes us special we understand boys we understand how
Boys learn we understand what boys need supporting Army Navy Academy is what helps us keep our legacy alive support in every way volunteering time financial support just being here for these young men because we’re all about these young men I see Brotherhood every day here at Army and Navy Academy it’s what we’re
