College not in a frat and it sucked a lot granted i did get kicked out of my dorm twice and was homeless for a while so that’s another story you guys can watch that video right there but for those of you that don’t know how this works pretty much at the beginning
Of each semester that is when you register for rush this is pretty much when you go out get to meet the frats and the frats get to meet you mine kind of sucked because it was all online because of coven hopefully they’ll start being in person again
If you guys don’t know what fraternity or rush rush capsic but pretty much just ask people around how they feel about a certain fraternity do you already know somebody in the fraternity that gives you a better likelihood of getting a bid from that frat the front has their own instagram
Page check out their instagram it gives you a good look of how they are i knew a couple people in kappa stick but i personally only knew one person in the chapter that i ended up joining so if you don’t know anybody in the front it’s not the end of the world so
Once you’ve gone through the rush process and you accepted your bid this is finally when you go through the pledging process so the pledge process is just pretty much you becoming an official brother every single fraternity has their own unique process mine was pretty good you do a whole range of things from
Learning the history of the fraternity to getting to know the brothers so really getting to know your pledge classes those are the guys that you’re going to be closest to in the fraternity my pledge class ended being a total of 28 including myself shout out to them as

Make you take a whole class about it if there was hazing in the frat that i would no longer be on campus so if you guys are thinking about joining a fraternity i would say that you should definitely do it i did an entire year of college
Not being a friend been officially in a frat for a few weeks and those few weeks honestly trump that entire year by a landslide i met some of the most interesting smart and just honestly fun individuals ever met in my life at this fraternity completely changed my college
Experience is definitely one of the best choices i’ve made in college there’s just so many benefits to joining a fraternity i could just keep going on about but i’m gonna give you guys some tips for those of you planning to rush all right so first pledging’s a very time consuming process people’s grades
Tend to drop ironically my grades actually went up but it’s literally just all about time management doing everything along with school can be challenging so if you can try to pick an easy schedule for yourself don’t shoot yourself in the foot by choosing hard classes choose the easiest classes you can for
When you know you’re gonna rush to have your financial set fraternity dues can vary anywhere from 500 to 18 almost 2 000 so just be aware of that and have that monetary aspect ready to go then finally when you’re picking that fraternity that you’re gonna join make sure you vibe
