What’s up everybody it is your boy Cory coming at you with another video on Tuesday I promise this video several times and recently I said once I hit 15,000 subscribers I’ll make this video today we’re gonna be talking about why I think people keep saying Greek life is ungodly and then they’re denouncing

Inspirational stuff it’s going to be a whole collection of this crewel brand and my vision of what it needs to be and yeah that’s what its gonna be All right so the number one reason I feel like people are denouncing and blaming it on Greek life or MPAC organizations being ungodly is because they got into the organization and they felt like they changed and that’s what I’m starting to see and see why people are denouncing it’s like they got into
Organization they start doing things that they wouldn’t typically normally do and now they’re embarrassed by it and now they’re blaming that Greek life is ungodly and made them do all this stuff when at the end day you are responsible for your own accident let’s say for example you’re not the type to party
You’re not the type to dream let’s say you joined a Greek organization and all of a sudden you’re doing that all of a sudden that that’s what you’re doing every single weekend partying and drinking and you might be underage like and that’s the thing Greek life will open up those opportunities for people
It will open up more opportunities to go to parties it will open up more opportunities for you to drink and you know have a good time but that’s not all what Greek life is about so if you do an organization and all of a sudden you’re
Doing all this stuff and you never seen yourself doing it you gotta take a step back and really analyze yourself ain’t nobody gonna be like yo you need to come out to this party you need to drag this we making you do this we make you do that most Greek organizations are not
Doing that most most Greek organizations leave it up to you as far as what you want to get yourself into whether it’s more than business side with it social where there’s a mix of both it’s all up to you so those people blame the Greek organizations from for I guess bringing
Them outside of their character we want to see they’re something that they had built up in them for a while and then all of a sudden they they are starting to do it now or they’re not 100% in themselves and is allowing a organization to create a image of them
Or they are allowing an organization to make them something that they’re not and that’s why we always stress whenever you join a Greek organization make sure you are a hundred percent with yourself make sure you not trying to join an organization for you to figure out yourself for you to
Say hey I want to know what what what I’ll worry like so I needed help with this that’s not what a Greek organization is for and if you join without knowing that and that’s when the trouble comes in same with you know church-going folk same with religion same with Christians same with
Spirituality like all day and be certain with your relationship with God before you join a Greek organization you cannot blame a Greek organization from moving you away from God you know saying or making you feel a certain way about God or feeling like God didn’t want you to
Join this organization that’s not how this works no Greek organization is gonna make you put the fraternity above what you don’t want to put it up against and this is saying a lot of people said they read or they had to cite this or they had to say
This and that nine times out of ten you ain’t had to say nothing that says that said anything about you put your organization above God you idolizing the organization are you going so hard for an organization you should lose your faith in God there’s nothing out there
That says that it’s all about the person it’s all about the person being so excited and so wrapped up in the organization that they’re forgetting about all the things that meant the most of them before they join that’s where the problem will come into play I can
Tell you right now I’ve never seen recited anything any ritual that say I Cory Jones have to put my organization above God they don’t even sound right a lot of our organization was founded worn you know Christian principles why would our founders back in 1908 1914 nineteen thirteen nineteen lie what our founders
After all the stuff they’re going through make our organizations something that is not of God why would they be like you know something we’re gonna make these organizations not to help the campus not to bring black people out of this struggle not to be leaders in the community we’re gonna make this
Organization so in order for you to do that you got a place that you are not godly you don’t put God above this organization that’s the last thing they’re thinking about back in that time like what where is this coming from power organizations is all about doing the
Right thing at any day yeah we might party yeah we might stroll step get a little rowdy here and there back to hens days we conduct more business than we do social things you gotta think about all the money that’s given to the community you guys think about all the initiatives
That these organizations are doing you gotta think of all the things that these organizations are doing in the church we have preachers deacons first ladies in these organizations they are in the church they’re judges they’re lawyers there’s police officers the doctors we’re everywhere why would we want to subject ourselves
To that if you messed up in a Greek organization you cannot blame that on a Greek organization you have to blame that on yourself you cannot go out here make these do not some videos that oh I read this and I didn’t feel comfortable with this and that and you still went
Through with it or you or you join and you did something that you didn’t want to do or you want to regret it and now you want to blame the organization that’s not how this works guys understand who you are as a person understand what you’re capable of understand your relationship with God
Make sure is strong before you join a Greek organization I can honestly say I feel like God is what steered me to this organization I feel like God was like you know somewhere this organization would do great it would be a great benefit to your life feel like I
Wouldn’t join if I didn’t get those messages you know I’ve said I wouldn’t join if that was the case and then if I and then if that wasn’t the case if I were to join I would have regrets I’ve never had regrets before I’ve never had regrets everything that I’ve done seeing has
Been positive from five bitter signals a lot of things that I have going on right now is from my relationships for people and brothers of Phi Beta Sigma it’s from joining it’s from making those connections networking I wouldn’t have some of the stuff and experience some things that I’ve experienced without my
Organization so Whitney doing good in my organization giving back you know saying to the community you know the same representing well being a man of character that’s God I’ll never let this organization taint Who I am I’ll never let this organization make me believe something that I didn’t believe it I
Never let this organization paint a picture in my head that I I didn’t want to see you have to be strong enough if those things are happening to hold truth to what you believe it everybody keeps saying this I’m denouncing because of this or I’m not I don’t want to join
Because I heard that it’s ungodly it’s not like that guys and just because you join a Greek organization don’t mean that you don’t believe in God or you’re gonna put the organization above God just because you go to church doesn’t mean that you are godly some people just
Go just to go some people go to church and still walk outside the church and sin right on the front step you know I’m saying that’s why this stuff always you know baffles me because I hear this I’m like where’s this information coming from where is this information coming
From there’s a oh there’s all type of stuff you can read online you can believe it if you want to see you can watch these two now some videos on YouTube and believe it if you want to believe it but I’m telling you if you are really interested in a Greek
Organization and you are church-going person a Christian you believe in God and God is first then a Greek organization will not hinder your belief you will hinder your belief
