How to Join a Graduate Chapter Of a D9 Organization

I’ve seen a lot of actual questions people emailing me asking how would i join a grad chapter of a greek fraternity or sorority and um it was a pretty good question because you know there’s a huge difference between grad chapter and undergrad chapters and i’m not talking about process wise i’m not

Talking about this down the third and cloud and road tripping and hopping and strolling all this i’m not talking about none of that all it has to do is the work ethic with the grand chapter versus undergrad chapter now there’s some undergrad chapters that do a lot of work and then there’s some

Undergrad chapters that don’t do anything if you plan on joining a grad chapter you are there to work you were not in college anymore like so you might have this grad grad chapter dream or you’re like oh well you know i didn’t get to play tka in college so

You know i’m gonna just do a grand chapter or i didn’t get to do this and i didn’t get to pledge cues i’m gonna just do grad chapter nah i didn’t like that you’re going into that grad chapter working when i say working i mean meetings events your money is going

To that grad chapter like there’s no undergrad is different you know you’re on a yard you’re road tripping partying meeting bras hopping strolling grab chapter it’s just like yo if you join a grad chapter you have to make sure that you bring value to that grad chapter i

Preach in the other in the other greek video like yeah you have to bring a value to the fraternity that’s that’s a fact but with grad chapter some some some frats and fraternities take anybody in the chapter take idiots in the chapter that don’t do [ __ ] on campus and just take

Them in and they end up being terrible in greek life no grad chapter oh you have to come with a resume you have to come on explain why you want to join it and when you get in that grad chapter you better work like there’s no reason to

Pledge grant chapter if you are not going to work in your fraternity or sorority like for what what are you joining a grad chapter for because you want to complete your college dream of being no you can still complete your college dream but you got to put in

Work i mean zoom cars paying dues throwing programs for the city and wherever so before you even think about joining the grad chapter like you need to make sure your resume is up because at that point it’s past running a college campus it’s about building the fraternity or sorority up

To a higher level and um so anyway the ways to go about joining a grad chapter now depending on where you’re located there’s probably grad chapters here and there out all over wherever you’re located at um whether you’re located down south up north west whatever so you need to get in contact

With what first off i would say go to that grad chapters event so most grant chapters throw events go there show your face express your interest like well actually no don’t express your interest first just go there show your face you know socialize blah blah blah keep coming around today program now during

Kobe right now i know programs are slim so you might have to wait a little bit until this bs is over but for now um go to programs and stuff like that if you know any sororities uh sisters or brothers that are around that grad chapter

Or no get in touch with them and ask them what do you think is the best idea for you because i can’t speak on every grad chapter so it’s really good if you know brothers who can you know kind of guide you to like where to go

So for an example i would probably hit if i was an interest i would probably hit up um a bra in my yard be like hey how do you think i should go about this because every state and every sorority and every fraternity and every district is different like there’s dif

So like you’re gonna have to figure that out on yours i can’t sit back and say go there and do this do this do that because everybody’s different but all i do know is if you plan on joining the grad chapter that resume better be to the floor like you better you have

To bring value to for the fraternity it’s not an undergrad where you’re going to join grad chapter grow road trip and hop in and strolling and doing a little stroll whatever y’all no it’s not like that bro it’s strictly working and i don’t care i’m not talking about

The process either i’m talking about when you’re actually a brother or sister so please make sure that if you’re even thinking about joining grad chapter it is a second job trust me i’ve seen it i pledge undergrad but now i’m in the grad chapter and they got me working like a slave

And hey it is what it is i signed up for it i took oh you take an oath to do that so just don’t think you’re going to join a grand champion and just not do nothing and just road trip and be out nah bro or sis it’s not like that at
