Is that video i don’t know if i don’t remember if i mentioned it but i am a junior at central washington majoring in instructional foundations which basically like education so that’s getting to know me and i love to meet new people that’s the reason i started this youtube channel and i also like
Taking videos of myself stop it get some help so that’s another reason why i started this video and i’m glad that you clicked on it if you’re curious about the sorority if you’re curious about me then you have come to the right place let’s get in to it So i mentioned that i crossed into the sorority and if you don’t know what this is this is sigma gamma rho sorority these are letters this is actually a jacket i got from my sister when i cross this but yeah these are historically black sorority one of the four major black
Historically black sororities and our model is greater service greater progress which basically our sorority is really about pushing community service coming together in education now if you are interested in this sorority there are a few things that you have to make sure that you have a high gpa because our sigma gamma rho
Sorority and just our sorority and fraternities in general they really really take education seriously and if you’re interested make sure you’re on your books and you are going to class and you’re doing what you need to do because gpa will make or break you love okay and make
Sure you do your research the fact that you clicked on this video already is telling me everything i need to know that you’re interested you’re curious and that’s what we love to see that you actually care about the sorority or fraternity that you are looking into so making sure you do
Research which is basically if you’re interested in sigma gamma rho sorority incorporated go online look up their website because there’s information you can find through let’s go to their official website don’t trust wikipedia all the time go to their official website and see what are they about
What do they stand for you know make sure it aligns with what you stand for and your goals and your and make sure it aligns with who you are as a person and what you intend to do in your future those are major things to do gpa do your research
And our sporty is very focused on community service like you might see on tick tock sororities and fraternities they do we do all the strolling we do look Come on we do have fun but it’s really important our main focus is community service and giving back to our communities in any way possible so on campus fall 2021 i do intend on doing a lot of community service events and make sure that y’all pop out if you go to central washington
Or if you don’t if you go to wazoo pop out for me babes i do intend on doing a lot of community service events just little things or big things i have a lot of stuff and works and i would love if you guys would show out
For me but like i said our motto is greater service greater progress the more service you do the better your progress is for your community and so that’s what we really believe in is community service our education our family our health and our wellness and pushing for women in general especially african-american women

And you can learn way more than i just told you right here i’m just giving you a little snippet what made me interested in this sorority is one my mom and my sister are also in the sororities are my cousins and i grew up all around um ladies of sigma gamma rho sorority
Incorporated i keep saying that of ladies in this sorority and like i said i don’t think i mentioned this before after you graduate these are one of the sororities and fraternities where after you graduate you are still a member it’s not was it it’s not like oh i was a signal
In college no there’s such thing as grad chapter so you remain a sigma gamma rho until life until you’re done with life whatever so there’s a lot of women that are in the sorority out there um making boss moves okay being ceos of their own company being olympians just doing amazing
Things and it’s so so i would always see how nice they were how much they gave back to their community how much time and effort they put into young people especially since i’m an education major and they do a lot of community service focused around that that made me really
Want to join the sorority so that’s what made me interested and also i know you guys have seen the tick tocks where they be lit they’re having a great time you know spreading i’m sorry for touching my hair but they be lit i know you guys see on
Tick tock they be lit and by lit i mean having fun spreading joy you know strolling being in a big community having fun and i love to see it so that’s why it made me interested if i’m looking down i have notes so that i stay on topic my adhd do
Not play with me and so honestly this is a short video but this weekend we had a seattle greek picnic i don’t know if you guys have heard of the like texas greek picnic atlanta greek picnic all those other greek picnics but we had one right here in washington and it was
Just a blasting young people and people who have graduated coming out having fun and just spreading the love i don’t know it’s just a great feeling and i just think that this is the best sorority ever but i may be a little biased so everybody if you’re um interested
