As Catholics, we must be powerful instruments of God’s love. We’ve come a long way from the mutual aid society of Father McGivney’s day. Yet, while our model has changed, our mission remains the same. For me, I was inspired originally by his mission. I learned about Father McGivney’s mission
To care for widows and orphans. And I decided that that’s the vocation that I should give my life to, was Father McGivney’s mission of caring for families. It’s so nice to be walking with young men and women, and even the elderly, to show to the world the importance of life.
And being a God-given gift, life must be protected.
