This summer, Alpha Omicron Pi advisor Camille Whalen and UGA Chapter President Anna Cate Puchalski went to Grapevine, Texas for the AOII International Convention at Gaylord Texan.
The chapter was honored with four “Inspire Ambition” awards, which highlight areas of excellence:

AOII was also one of 15 chapters, out of 178 collegiate chapters in North America, to receive the Collegiate Chapter of Excellence Award. The chapter received this award for their dedication to service at Barrow Elementary, philanthropy efforts at their Battle of the Bands event which raised over $34,500 and their campus involvement.
The Lambda Sigma chapter of AOII is honored to represent the University of Georgia well. “I learned a lot at Convention and brought back many ideas to my chapter,” said Puchalski. “I also made great connections in the SEC, across the country and in Canada.”
