Accents its whole lot of times to one and all who have cooperated to derive this conclusion thank you thank you [Applause] the G20 National Commerce has been a fruitful exercise for discussing the various issues and challenges confronting the tourism sector and it was possible by an Evidence panel discussion I request
Honorable Governor Chancellor to felicitate the panelists honorable Justice former judicial member national green tribunal South zonal girls foreign [Applause] Christian College foreign [Applause] tourism which is Echo tourism Mr hariharan Krishna director [Applause] Documentary director language and historical research development program [Applause] s technology documentary director language and historical research Development Center thank you CEO inodc technology Hindu religious and charitable endowment Department foreign Foundation of archeology private Limited Advocates a monthly vice president Coordinator tourism and travel management vice president foreign Foreign Health Hospital s Indian Bank foreign Indian Bank advocate My grand Law Firm Mr ktg kangnam KTV Health Foods Mr Hari radhakrishnan Swami Associates Mr Naveen Apollo Hospital Advocate Sunil Shankar Shankar Solstice and advocates MS rosam alumni of cndlu together foreign I now invite Dr D R Vignesh chairman of Swiss Garnier to deliver a special address respected and honorable governor of Tamil Nadu and the chancellor of this prestigious Dr Tamil Dr ambedkar law University CRM Ravi Ji respected by Chancellor Dr Anna Santos respect the senior advocate of Madras High courts
Respected law secretary government of Tamil Nadu respect the chief of staff Dakshin Bharat area Major General respected General officer command foreign Good morning to one and all and it is a pleasure to be a part of this National level Intel University G20 simulation which is conducted by your esteemed University the initiative taken by your University in conducting such a simulation and presenting the event report in the form
Of views and suggestions of the various panelists as a community document to The Honorable Governor is a really appreciable and wonderful job and the credit goes to your Vice Chancellor your faculty members and especially the student Fidelity of this Dr ambedkar law University and this is a unique event
One of its kind I think this is the first time in the history of any law University and we all created an history in connecting uh such a unique program and we I really appreciate that so to address the young future lawmakers and policy makers who are sitting in
Front of me so the young students you are the future and fillers of this country not only the country you are the future pillar of pillars of this world so there are only a few Noble professions one less Judiciary and another is a medical profession so Judiciary uh so that’s why you know
People call lordship and we respect that equal to Lord and did a medical profession is another profession where we are in the field of saving lives so we are actually it is not saving lives we are life prolong us so let me introduce so I am Dr Vignesh so I am a
Medical doctor by profession so like I was working in various hospitals Global and now I am into for my industry so it is a pharmaceutical industry we have factories in Himachal and chicken and I am taking care of international market and only uh so I will change from my clinical
Side to an administrator site so like as I was selling so there are future policy makers and decision makers who are sitting in front of me the live uh example is the current vice president who is also a lawyer by profession our previous vice president
He’s also the he’s one of a lawyers and apart from that there are various eminent personalities worldwide as well as in our country who are lawyers by profession and who have achieved Greater Heights not only in politics in other fields the reason I found or what I heard from
My thought process and knowledge was like the training in your law school is about learning to analyze a problem and tackling it up on all aspects and in all angles the case study approach helps the students to hone their problem solving and analytical skills so this kind of approach makes you a better
Administrator and your thought process and your reasoning reasoning skills and you are adapting to different perspectives and your empathy and sympathy towards the people it improves all these characteristics and it builds this kind of characteristics within you so you become a future data and this event has proved it within
A short period you have conducted and organized such a wonderful event so this really proves and you or yours should have a greater aim and vision for your life so you should have five year or 10-year growth program or in a missionary program so all these present leaders are all past missionaries so
They have a vision for India Definitely we cannot achieve a greater Heights in our life like as I was telling few world leaders who are who are lawyers by profession and who have achieved Greater Heights namely like some Mahatma Gandhi Nelson Mandela Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton Tony Blair Vladimir Putin and season so
These are few people who are currently ruling the world also and apart from that Indian personalities who are lawyers by profession and who are doing good uh not only in politics and other professions or many which is known to you and everyone so and also the first President of India Dr
Rajendra Prasad he is also annoyed by professor the uh as I said the education system in our country is a very good and especially the law education so imv now so since I have become a doctor so I envy like uh the one thing which I admire you is your Vice Chancellor who’s
A very young by heart similar to your Chancellor and honorable government Governor so they are very young by heart and they are bubbling with energy and the importance and the value addition they give to any generation and young students like you is really appreciable and you have got a very good Chancellor
And vice Chancellor and good faculty members so these two days program I was one of the panelists and I really uh Envy you all so I was not a law student so uh to tell a few things so uh so common man has faced into uh system so Oneness Judiciary so have
Passion for any profession you have be passionate for your profession and try to do justice to your profession whatever the profession you may face and uh don’t go for any monetary benefits or don’t go for any power so once you do justice to your profession or if you
Work by a conference one thing so definitely you will be a given plenty by your mother nature so India is a vast can be that you have lots of opportunities even a common man can reach to the Greater Heights of India and we can even rule the country and the
Live example is our honorable Prime Ministers and another sitting live example in front of you is our honorable Governor Priya and Ravi so all these eminent personalities you should take them as a role model and you should uh read biographies all and other things about them what they teach in life what they
Do and what uh one thing which I admired in our governor is like he has a very uh good approach towards the students fragility and he wants a long-term vision and he wants to inculcate those in the student fraternity so that they can tackle any kind of challenges in the
Future so this is not a short-term question this is a long-term Vision so once if you get tuned to these kind of things at the early age of your education so the pain bearing capacity nowadays among the youngsters it is not that so they tend to the reason might be many
Reasons there might be many reasons for not having that pain bearing capacity which the older generation has because they are living in isolated family they are not exposed to various atmospheres we are tuned to your within their home to get this and other things so as uh
People you are in the Judiciary you should create some reform so that the future Generations are not adapted and tuned to those kind of things and uh see uh once you get the same bearing capacity definitely you can challenge and Achieve whatever thing in your life and you can achieve Greater Heights a
Stone is just a stone but once it is cut and beaten and Polished only then it becomes a diamond so unless and until you have that beatings and sufferings and pain at this particular age uh you will not shine in the future so that is my humble uh request and
Suggestions so don’t uh get frustrated or uh depressed for small things so you have a very good future in your life so you should face and Tackle all these small challenges which you face at this particular age as a challenge and because uh even I was facing a lot of
Challenges and I take it as an experience not Transit challenge so all these traits and experience and will a better human being within you and to conclude you just want to say a few words so give the maximum to that Society either through knowledge or what you
Have in your monetary or knowledge or education so give to the people around you or to their Nation so you will get plenty written backs in an unimaginable way either which you haven’t even thought of so create a history in a good way and before you leave this world because
Life is unbreakable so whatever you do so create history in a very good way and before you leave as well and one more thing the Nobles of all professions is teachers so don’t ever forget your teachers in your life so they are your mentors they say if you create you
Because they get unnoticed because we say various professions but teacher profession is one thing which gets unnoticed and we should never forget them in life in spite of whatever higher position three weeks because uh you spend most of the time with them they create you motivate you they uh
Culture you in a fine way and your present position is because of the teachers whom have created the good things and put the seeds in you and uh yeah so I am very uh thankful and it’s my pleasure to be a part of this great event and I thank all the staff members
Students Vice Chancellor and other dignities to be a part of this event and let’s together make India a great nation in future and we’ll all achieve Greater Heights and within short period of time let’s take India to a developed nation which is far uh not far away thank you thank you [Applause] foreign Who address this occasion other dignities of the state the officers faculty and all members of the University and my dear friends who are at the backstage my dear friends who are at the back roads in this Auditorium a very warm welcome this is a great opportunity for the law University
In terms of what we have conducted for these last three days it is indeed an opportunity for me for standing before you in this August Gathering and a noble occasion I had been part of this University and in all my earlier visits it was mostly the professors and the students
Whom I had the attention to in fact our whom I had vacation to address today the vice chancellor has made it a tough task by ensuring that there are many differences than the students and who are seated before me the Indian presidency of G20 has given vast opportunities
The law University was not lacking in any manner we had grabbed this opportunity to create a ground level situation of providing stimulation the report by the Vice Chancellor would have given you a white thought as to what has gone into in this last two days the brainstorming sessions the best of
The minds who had been part of those sessions in providing an output of this National Summit by the law University the G20 Summit the G20 the Indian s of the G20 used to deadline saying one Earth one family and one future couplet 192 of Coronado the famous summon poet of this land said
He profounded the universal Brotherhood Swami Vivekananda is opening remarks at the world religious conference at Chicago addressed the Gathering as brothers and sisters these principles of universal Brotherhood which we have imbibes is now being Revisited in the modern concept the various sessions we had looks forward as to what India is to
Contribute during its presidency of this G20 all these years or decades We Have Heard that whenever India is part of any International movement conference or any session things used to happen at New Delhi we had always a privilege of traveling to participate in seminar in conclusion Summits so forth what is today’s unique
The presidency of the G20 by the Indian government has Satan it to the Grassroots to the ground level today we find the vibrations of this G20 throughout the country and once a citation is where this University is part of it as I said the profounding of universal Brotherhood in a modern concept
Takes us to new heights as students of law you must have been benefited with this program for this last two days you are going to be part of and history which is being created and I am also proud to say that I am also part of this history
I need to thank all of you for having given this opportunity for having address you in this attention of the validity of this section I Thank The Honorable Governor Chancellor I thank the vice Chancellor and I thank all of you for this occasion thank you [Applause]
Thank you sir for joining us on this memorable day and delivering this special level may I now invite secretary foreign Now uh in a valedictory function I think we better also look as to what we take forward from here from the point of view of students it to the beam and window of the world out there which is available for exploring in terms of profession for the participants and the panelists the
Distance which we may have to travel to achieve that object of promoting Global tourism and in terms of what is there in a law University for such a program a topic called tourism as one of our guests speaking to me just before the program tourism
If it has to be successful we need peace we need prosperity so all these things can happen only if the factors that might disturb these two things the factors that might affect these two things are handled properly for handling them properly we need laws we need law enforcement proper law enforcement and
We need people for handling all these things so I think we have a strong connect to tourism than anybody else has Law university uh I would I would not take much of time I would only uh I was hearing about the medical tourism that our resistance was referring to
I would also think of legal tourism as also one of the potential areas of developing tourism because there are centers of arbitration like Dubai Singapore London Paris and why not Chennai and why not Chennai why not our University takes a lead in doing all these things I leave this as a thought
For germinating thank you [Applause] I thank the secretary legal Affairs for a special address I would now like to invite Major General Indra balance Chief of Staff of Southern command area to deliver a special address area Tamil Nadu ation Dr Vignesh director says Daniels distinguished guests across the podium distinguished faculty students members of the audience and media namaskaram wanakam nangi [Applause] to be standing on the stage on invitation from Colonel Professor Dr NS Santosh Kumar because he’s earned this kernel title due to his extreme passion for you
Development and the work he has done to create a new future for NCC in this law University [Applause] when I stand on the podium I am also kind of in a paradoxical situation because the military and the tourism are possibly inversely proportional where are the military goals the tourism goes away
If that be true I wonder why I’m standing here but if I was to connect the two from the positive nodes there is I can use a oxymoron called as military tourism like a sweet filled now how does military tourism become an oxymoron well all of us would have gone and visited
War Memorial’s military museums and to our all and we take a lot of inspiration from these places one of the most visited tourist spots in the world you will all be honest to know is the Arizona National Museum U.S United States annual number of visitors to this Arizona National Museum National
Memorial is 2 million it’s an astounding number but what is good is that India is gradually overtaking this the national war memorial of India the number of tourists per day averages from five to ten thousand we can go to 10 to 20 000 and the annual has already crossed 3.6 million
So therefore there is huge potential in military tourism the state of Tamil Nadu holds itself to the glory with the victory war memorial that is there in Chennai for also to see there is a solar Museum the government museum is one of the most beautiful museums that come across
It glorifies the rich cultural military Heritage of the solar Empire way back in the uh its cultural values way into the Malacca set Way Beyond into the Sundar Street going into the South China Sea they were touching and spreading its cultural values into Indonesia Cambodia Cambodia as far as South East China
So even through the military there’s possibility of studying tourism is what Chola Empire has kind of demonstrated and it is here that I want to also bring out that itself there is a possibility of creating a military religion which presently is not existing there is one Military Museum which you may all be
Aware of which is in the Madras regimental center it’s a beautiful Museum it already has recently inaugurated I think it’s just about a year back it has 300 plus visitors daily during the seasonal time but having a proper bigger military religion within Chennai or a chosen place I’m sure would
Add a lot of tourist Value Plus adding to the nationalism to be you know love for our country amongst our youth all this will happen through the tourism itself being a seller of my uh you know kind of experience I had the privilege to sail around the world in the 1989. in our
Expedition called samudra and recently I had the great opportunity to meet one Gentleman by name Commander abhilash Swami I’m sure many of you have heard of him who was born and come second in the Golden Globe race the toughest world race at the world the most toughest thing to
The ever that too after having broken his backbone he has done this again what we stated for India is taken India to the world single handy is taking it out of the world such like people can be produced by Tamil Nadu because Tamil Nadu enjoy the huge Coast and the
Coastal tourism is something which can kind of attract a lot of Youth into the whole system recently I was witnessed to two major events here one was the national cricketer the national G20 regulator and also there was a types of indicator the place was filled with you Coastline of field wherever this event
Was happening so my recommendation takeaways from these two uh you know the little opportunity has been given here to speak is that the cultural the military tourism and both the coastal tourism has tremendous protection not in Tamil Nadu to the whole of the Indian Peninsula and I would recommend that
These be given due Credence when we discuss in most learning sessions about the uh tourism itself and thanking again Dr professor and the entire audience for having seen this opportunity to interact with you and engage in a such a beautiful session I end my notes thank you very much [Applause]
Thank you general for your special address I’m sure you’ve highlighted the importance of military tourism and mantras having its historical imprint will have many prospects in this regard I would now like to invite reference General karamveer Singh Brad Aviation General officer commanding to deliver the keynote address foreign [Applause]
Uh Vice Chancellor Colonel Professor Dr Santosh dignitaries from the foreign missions the esteem faculty their students distinguish gifts firstly it’s an honor for me to be delivering this keynote address thank you very much but at the outset I think I’ll begin by really complementing the NCC drill and
God of Honor given by the University and I can say if I mean they were as good as Army if not better so The Ghost and the motivation of the NCC Cadets were really very good uh as far as you know I’ll take the cue from my keyword stuff he said military and
Tourism don’t go together but I can tell you if you join the military you will see the best tourist places in the world and very few get that opportunity that is whether you are at 25 000 feet in the glacial terrain you will see moonland and ladakh I think many may not
Have seen it jungles which you can’t even imagine you see in movies deserts and all other places and a lot of us go on un missions in various others capacities also so you can join army to see good tourist places okay as far as again complementing the
University of having this kind of an initiative which is unique of course is very appreciable but more appreciable is that the word scenes which are happening in the G20 they are doing their job but what you have done is in all the youth and unless the Youth of the Nation
Gets involved I think uh we are on very very right lines and as everybody knows India has a youth capacity which nowhere in the world exists so what we are doing or what the University is doing or what the initiative with the government has taken to involve youth whether it’s NCC or
Whether these initiatives I think are really have a very very bright future for our country so therefore the sessions which have been conducted definitely are very complementary but as the G20 there are two parallel drives each Sherpa is there which is leading the trash and of course you have the
Finance track in fact there are 13 disciplines of the share for working group which I think I’ll just name agriculture anti-corruption culture digital economy disaster education employment environment Health trade and of course tourism is there we have had four tourism workstream meetings the three of course what in Goa Darjeeling
And one was of course in City nagar now why is the Srinagar important this is the first meeting of our International status which has been held there and this was the most popular so you see what a G20 and what and what does and you know the development which has taken place in
Last few years in Srinagar is phenomenal and as of now in fact I was just seeing the tweets from the Google on that meet there are 300 film companies which are shooting at the moment which include Hollywood and also Netflix at that moment so this is something you know the tourism which
Can really evolve what is going to happen in the future the five priority areas the first one I will only highlight which is equal tourism or the green tourism while it’s so important but that is the thing which I think we have to take here unless you take care of the environment
You see the things any kind of a development or any kind of initiative with three humans are taking unless you take care of the environment nothing moves so we have seen the impact of not taking care of environment by various you know uh natural disaster disasters which are happening in fact recently we
Know in the north India some of the overburdening of the tourism were not planned has caused some damage so therefore whatever we do we have to take nature along with us and everything which we do is of course a whole of a Nation approach you see some countries have a good
Tourist spots some have a good culture some have good history but I think India is one country where you have everything you have you see some countries only have mountains we have the highest of the mountains to the deserts to the jungles to the deserts and of course the coast
Which was mentioned we have such a culture which I think goes back thousands of centuries we have military history people start military or most countries from World War or maybe 100 years 200 years we are 5000 years of military history we have now what is called the medicine
Or medical tourism we have Bollywood and are all the movies we have the famous Oscars now that’s a global race so you know there’s there’s so much of potential so I can keep on going but in the end how do we in uniform ensure it or how we can accept there is
A connection you see unless there is peace nothing moves so it is a job in the uniform all across the world we are protecting the integrity and the Peace of our countries and unless peace remains so our connection with the world also we are the largest peace people of United Nations the
Indian army or the Indian Armed Forces so I think it is there okay okay there was some photographs from the U.N Nations so those missions where we go in fact the photographers they are seeing later you will see the amount of negotiations which we do or the
Difficult areas we move and the Indian peacekeepers are there in the most of the difficult and the dangerous areas if it comes to the Indian Armed Forces when there was a disaster or the earthquake in Turkey we were the First Responders of the medical team if there
Was some evacuation to be done from Ukraine or South Sudan or Yemen again you know it’s not the Indians which we brought back we also brought back all foreign students or citizens so therefore you know the military development says something which goes a long way some of my friends who have
Done courses with our chief of the Army in various countries in fact in Sri Lanka and Bhutan some are in high places therefore the Army definitely odam forces definitely have a big role in doing things for tourism or for nation building and definitely as I said that is whole of a Nation approach
So with this I thank you for giving me this opportunity and wish the university all the best in all their future intervals thank you very much [Applause] presenter for highlighting the importance of being a part of the military which is itself is a tourist experience among so many other things
And primarily also saying that being a part of India’s approach in G20 to promote tourism is a whole other Nation approach which is indeed enlightening I thank you once again sir for delivering the keynote address I would now like to invite The Honorable governor to launch the e-soil solutions e-soil Solutions means electronically
Managing all the day-to-day operations of the soil this attendance management Reviews Showcases Efficiently in addition to this this student’s faculty and the parents and individual attention upon each student inside the campus is strictly watched overall the final movement of the university is managed through this Israel software Foreign Governor Chancellor under whose Visionary leadership the Tamil Nadu doctor ambedkar Law university is marching towards progress and excellence this event the national G20 simulation has gained a greater significance with the presence of honorable Governor Chancellor may I request our honorable Governor Chancellor girl to present the valedictory address foreign [Applause] Pero e on prakash senior advocate and Syndicate member of this University Dr BR Vignesh director switzerlands distinguished guests esteemed excellencies of various foreign missions in Chile faculty members of the University participants of the z20 simulation my dear students wanakam namaskaram [Applause] at the outsets I congratulate the vice Chancellor
For taking the lead and grabbing this opportunity to host this National G20 simulation at the prestigious Dr ambedkar law University and as the name of the University suggests I see my most humble tribute to the great founding fathers of our constitution a great social reformer a great visionary who could conceive
A future borrowed the future country what would it be like and what would need to make that country and give us a beautiful document called Constitution doctor bhimrao ambedkar who will be called him friends this time or three days I mean over two days or deliberations that you all had over
Several verticals of tourism I’m sure he was enrich enriched with the understanding of though the focus was the various facets of Tourism but being a G20 event those simulation it must have given you an opportunity to ponder over to think over the global issues the issues the challenges the world is facing today
And also it gave you an opportunity to think over the way forward to your Physicians which I all of us we heard when the vice versa gave the brief resume of recommendations it tells us about the intensity of deliberations that you had in the last two days I am sure they should benefit
The leaders and all the stakeholders while framing the policies which will be steer the course of the world into the future into a better future more sustainable future they should be and a valuable input I signed the participants for their active involvement friends we all know that G20 this interconvention body is body
Is very important because this body has the potential to shape the destiny of the world it has the capacity to take the world to a course away from the challenges the problems the crisis that we see we are facing and perhaps many more which might come in the future
And so this is a very important forum and a student of a basically University I know that from other universities those who came as a participant of the world as an object as Observers you for these last two days you have taken off your normal Deeds to think over these issues
The global issues this in itself is not only a pleasant break from your normal routine but it’s also an important initiative to make you more responsible citizens capable of facing the challenges of the world challenges that tomorrow is likely to throw up we know that at this point of time India
India’s presidency or T20 is important not only for us but for the whole world it is an occasion for us to show to the world to share with the world our perspective to the global issues and our approach to deal with those issues those challenges we know we have several
Major crisis confronting the world climate crisis we know that our planet Earth is heating up and the rising temperature is playing Heaven there are several Island countries which are apprehensive that if the adequate mitigation in cities are not taken they would be wiped off the map of the world
Other countries wherever they are everyone is facing the truth we know that the countries known for cold climate is experiencing is hurting Heat we know that the places where people were used to listen informed an ecosystem of Life had developed around that kind of environments is experiencing unprecedented flocks
Natural disasters the intensity of this are so frequent frequency as well as the intensity also severe that we do not know what is in store for tomorrow now this Global challenge the crisis how do we address it what is India’s perspective to it and how is India’s approach to it
And here we need to share with the words our perspective and our approach what are we doing we all know that one single Mass Factor responsible for the climate crisis is excessive dependence on fossil fuel for energy excessive exploitation of nature and its resources these mines and minerals make orders whatever the resources
This has created the situation this has Disturbed the balance while we know that these this is these are the causes what is the way forward India shows the way forward with Indian perspective Indian perspective towards nature is not that it is a resource to be exploited
It is not a perspective that as a humans we are the Lord and Masters of the Universe the creation and the rest of the creation is for us to our pleasure we believe that we are a part of a integral part of it and we must live in perfect symbiosis a Harmony
And that is why we don’t look at any element of nature as a resource for our pleasure but with that perspective and new way of thinking how we are addressing the issue the challenge of energy bill how to meet the need for our energy will be so crucial for development
We are taken like no other country has done bold initiated towards greeniness we have already crossed 30 percent of our energy needs through green sources non-carbon and we assume in a couple of years going to meet about 50 questions we have set a Target by 2017 we will be
Zero carbon emission it’s not just a visual Target we are moving forward and fulfilling it before that timeline when we go for the clean energy we are moving in most Innovative way solar energy when we have son whom reversifies gods has inexhaustible energy can’t be tapped into that and when we started tapping
He started getting the result initially when the world when India started in 2016 International sober Reliance they were Skeptics around the world not very many takers today there are numerous who are joining us it’s no we know that almost 20 percent of our energy that we use the fuel that we use
They are ethanol mix we had a Target you can then we had a Target which we achieved long before our deadline we set the target E20 that also we have achieved the country is moving forward with the determination to move away from Constitution at the same time producing more energy
Because we know that energy is how crucial for our developments Innovative thinking bold thinking resolutely energy now we are ambitious and I’m sure we will fulfill that to be the International hub for green hydrogen the next couple of years we will achieve that country has the confidence country has the country has the
Determination so we are moving forward we are walking to talk not only that the climate crisis is also linked with the way we have been using the soil for agricultural production excessive fertilizers and climate income incompatible agriculture the places where we don’t have much water going for water intensive cultivation putting out
Drinking taking water from this water table as a result the water table going down severe detrimental effects now our country is moving with the determination towards natural and organic farms A revolution is going on I have seen in this very estate Tamil Nadu when I visited the remote areas our farmers
Are doing what people would be dreaming about climate compatible agriculture less water fine go for Millworks leadership has already given a call to go for this military base it doesn’t need much water it is more nutritious it can give good to eat natural and organic farmers the doubts reducing the yields
And which is compatible with the climate with the environment is what we are doing and we this is what we need to show to the world look there is a way forward not only that I’ll find yourself given a call and the United Nations has accepted it lifestyle for environment
It has to be a movement has to be a movement it cannot be a policy a statement or initiated by the government it has to be the movement by every citizen of the world we have to rethink about our life aside how to live in a way
That reduces the waste and wasteful use of whether the energy or any of the resource even when we are generating energy how to make the optimum use of that energy uses LED the LED has revolutionized the way it has with less energy how to have more
Likes that we have early as it used to be it is a refraction of that we get better light more comforting light so this same amount of energy with far more use now these are ways these are revolutions which are happening in distance these are preventive preventive to The Climate crisis but also
We are also dealing with the effects of what is happening okay some it will reduce it will reduce the pace of retail but we know that the crisis the natural disasters which are happening theory of elements is causing heat to a place where earlier known for cold climate eruptions natural excess is flooded
Imagine natural disaster mitigation we have built India has built a capacity a credible capacity by which we are not only meeting the need of mitigating disaster in our own country but we are reaching out to our friends across the world so the major crisis the global crisis the
Climate how India is doing it how India is making the need for energy how is India is making need for agriculture how India is meeting need for sustainable life water we know that water is going to fight future going to be a crisis along water the Prime Minister when he lost his
Scheme of 75 000 numbers are over in the country to have 75 000 water bodies 75 in his district at the time it looked ambitious we have already we are close to achieving it we are walking the talk the world is looking at India with curiosity what is happening another crisis Global crisis
Is poverty it’s a challenge you know that the last part we know that in large part of the world is living in poverty and how do we address that here again India’s experiment now we know that in last less than 10 years we have moved more than 140 million people out of poverts
It’s it’s magic how did this happen even their same 10 years pulling out more than 140 million people out of poverty because we took initiatives the national leadership a visionary leadership took initiative in a way that perhaps was not thought of before and whatever this some of these are worth mentioning here
It just benefits and the services meant for the poor people earlier there used to be the comment used to release but there used to be huge leakage we had a prime minister who owned record stated that for every one rupee that is meant for the poor the poor the beneficiary
Intended beneficiary gets only 15 passes 85 paise used to be eaten Away by people in bitterness now what’s happening today with the digital India initiative with every beneficiary has it from a cow having a bank account and digitally connected to the mobile the benefit goes to the account that beneficiaries account directly
If you have already crossed more than 500 million accounts and when accounts more than 500 me today the leakage that it used to happen is addressed people kept the benefits and the services that they needed which was meant for them without an intervention of the middleman and without any transmission loss
Through corruption this is a problem that happens all over the world in their integrates but we at least today this country is the most digitalized country in the world this actually lasts a few years today 45 percent of 45 percent of the digital find the financial transactions every day happens in this
Country alone this is New India the digital India it went a long way in addressing the issue of poverty not only that today it empowers the citizens it in power and when the citizens are empowered when they have a sense of dignity because they don’t have to go and fall
In queue for their services for the benefits that that was intended for me to go and beg before officials something humiliated it comes to them directly it gives a sense of dignity a digital India has ensured the Dignity of our citizens and when siblings have dignity our democracy is further extend
The various initiatives yeah we are not in our country like many other places we have many many homeless people in the last few years we built about over 30 million homes for the homeless over 30 million and how did it happen because the beneficial the homeless how the bank accounts all that personal
Needed was to have a piece of land where he could build the house and with a certain process the money comes in in in chances the person builds the house upload cells of the GPS verified the money comes direct without any intervention box any middlemen and we built over 30 million houses
For the homeless this is use of Technology democratization of Technology in empowering the people in reducing poverty it also helped in escaling the people it’s not only that the benefits and services intended for them to reach but also they must be empowered to be more productive and the way aggressively we push the
Skill in India initiative today we have received the outbursts of Entrepreneurship in our country entrepreneurship in our country then until about three years ago until we didn’t have even 500 entrepreneurs in our country today we have crossed 125 000 until 125 000 entrepreneurs this empowerment that you live with dignity seventy thousand
And started their business a small business 40 crores now the person who was early as looking at the government for them help and looking helpless living with dignity through the digital India initiative and through the scenes like mudra in estate for entrepreneurs there are several scenes you will start there is no
Birth of resources you wake up be on your feet live a life of bigness that face when client relationship between the Saints that is the government and the people is not a healthy relationship people are not clients they are the Masters they must have the power which is which is legitimately due to
Them and this model of reducing or mitigating poverty is the moral for the world to follow and the world is curiously walked watching us another good Global crisis time limit it for the last over three years it has devastated the world no country no home was a spirit
Millions and millions of people perish and look at India’s itself if the case of city for the rest of the world we also suffered but when it comes to addressing the challenge the way we handled it when this epidemic broke out there were Doomsday share saying that
India would be the laws would be not less than 70 to 80 million people who died because we didn’t have a good health infrastructure they didn’t have adequate support system we didn’t even have masks and ventilators but the country got together our scientists our health workers our common people
They got together and we faced each other our people of Technology devised the common Act and what a wonderful lab which is the Envy of the world you have a vaccination imagine about over 1 billion people to be vaccinated you have a vaccination and immediately within no time to get the certificate on
Your device and it ensures you a smooth travel the way we hang the pandemic the world has to learn the lesson from it not only that the pandemic Devastation the economy many companies are spiking hard to escape recession they are in a recession-like situation and then the recovery is when the when
The pandemic has started where the phases started slowing down it just started ebbing and David demands to boost the economy most of the world they believed in consumption driven economy bring the money supply the money let more money come to people’s pockets our leadership is not
India said no we will not call it we will not just Sprint the money we will deal with it we will do the fundamentals reforms which will strengthen our base for a better future and the result is while we did not print the money our economy is the fastest growing
Economy in the world today and among the large countries the country which was 10 in order of GDP it has already reached five and we are confident that the next series will be among the top three it is unassoppable how do face a global pandemic turn this crisis
Into an opportunity to assemble yourself to build yourself a bit more confidence for a better future there is no guarantee that there will not be another appointed are we prepared for it and if the world is has to be prepared and there is no perhaps there is no option
India’s way how to deal with it is the way for the world in the world another issue General Justice we know that nearly half the population the price of the woman all these years people have been talking about Justice storm and women empowerment but what has happened in this country in
The last few years where are we today our women are more confidence when I go to the universities I go to school I feel so happy to see more number of girl children women than the boys I thought the birth of a child then the mother an accepting mother
Through again in clubbing the digital in the other policies monitoring through portion of yarn giving the new nature of nutrition And Timely Medical intervention care a woman a pregnant woman carries her mobile and time to time it gets the message now it is time for you to come for a checkup
This is the time for you to have this certain time which which which are there in the process of pregnancy and then the nutrition nutrition supports healthy citizens healthy woman women’s education women entrepreneurship today in our country there is no barrier for women they are everywhere even in the Defense Forces
In combat areas our women are flying bombers aircraft Even in our bank accounts when I said that we have crossed the 500 million 56 percent of them are women 30 million houses that have been built they have been built with the women as the owners men are also husbands are co-owners but
The primary owner of the woman had said he had dreams This is happening all this crisis that India is facing the challenges that India is facing is showing the way to the world how we need to conduct our affairs and these changes are happening how what is the core behind this fundamental commercial transformations it is our what we call vishwa darshan
And Mano darshan worldview and view towards humanities how do we look at the world traditional Indian way of looking at the world unfortunately over thousand years of colonization invasions it got weakened this is again being energized our traditional way of looking at the world is the family
And what you say world is a family and when you mentioned about from it is our traditional received wisdom for several thousand years ago we have not prayed for our self we have prayed for the all the beings not only for humans but all the beings animals and plants our prayers
When our great Saint Valar says when I see a plant we bring it Withers my heart this is our world to you this is what we are in our DNA and that’s how we look at the world as the same and the world is totality of it
Not only humans but when it comes to humans our outlookers of humans is again integerly connected humans as a families integrally connected with the rest of the family of the creation it is this view is this approach which is bringing about the change in our own country but the Prime Minister and uniquely
Visionary person who understands this country who is deeply escaped into the Indian values when he took the initiative various initiatives it was a fundamental departure from the past in the past India it grew we developed but we developed according to our limited resources that we thought our resources were limited do
You see everything this much is our money total pity so this must really spend in the house in the medical for the health so we’ll build so many hospitals so many medical colleges so many Primary Health Centers then we have a limited resource we have this much for Education we will build so
Many foreign schools so many for colleges now this was if you look at the country as a family in your family can you afford to say that I have 10 members I can only afford I will only provide health and medication to the two not to the rest you cannot as a family
Every citizen of our country has to get all those basic ingredients of Health discipline now that is how all that all the seeds entire approach was entire country estate is not a reasonable specific it’s not a safe assisted it was that all the citizens of the country
Look into this country when we say the world is a family we must begin charity begins at home this country look at the country as a friend achieve it by energizing the country men and women there is a core wire we will wake up the rasta we will wake up the nation
And then some some women answers together we move together we go as a family awaken the nation because we have a great response with it India is to grow not merely for India itself India has to grow for the sake of the world because today we are in a situation which is not
Sustainable the problems all that we mentioned I mentioned these are the climate to various crises most of these are are the product of the last seven decades seven and a half or eight decades we didn’t talk about climate in 1940s or 50. but we are concerned about it okay now
This goes on it is not sustainable to save the world India has to grow with Indian values any name values which our G20 one Earth One famous only one family one future is not a shared wheelchair it is one finish either we Prosper together or we doomed together now for this
India has to grow at the time 1947 15th of August when India became independent receiver window pinned down a tree what India should be he said India has an obligation a divinely ordained obligation to grow grow and a spread this life the world is a family to rest of the world
But to have this life you must spread across the world you must be capable of that and for that we have to be a developed country and our national leadership has given us the Target by 2047 India must be a fully developed country my friends my young friends who are students
Of America law University and other universities those who are here as an Observer you must realize that you have an obligation a great obligation will be something not only for this India whichever profession you are he was essentially your law what it takes you where it takes you tomorrow
But whichever field you grow whichever field and what you’re going to do keep in mind this responsibility of yours that you must grow to your Optimum to your Qatar what is your potential if your potential is to grow on the scale of 1 to 10 to 9 or 10.
And if you stop at four it is an achievement by there is a huge loss if the loss for you is the loss for the nation is the loss of the world bear in mind that your growth your development is not just your development it is the need for the country and for
The world keep that in mind wherever you go whatever you do friends I wish you all the very best I know you are our National Assets each one of you and you will be conscious of your responsibility towards yourself towards your family towards the nation towards the world thank you very much [Applause]
