Hey my name is Kayla flip and I’m a member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity incorporated epsilon SIA chapter I am Darian Dawson a member of iota Phi Theta fraternity incorporated I’m a member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity incorporated I’m a member of Kappa Alpha fraternity incorporated the lander fight shattered
Down at Valdosta State man affiliation Omega South Phi fraternity incorporated okay I attend the Atlantic Creek picnic 2016 summer 2016 yeah I’ve been one time actually um AGP have ever been in the explain it’s a lot you know AGP is uh an experience that I think is very vital to every Greek you
Know every member that crosses in you know the in the fraternity helped me after I graduated just the networking meeting other different Alpha brothers even outside of my friend you know just kind of being in denial in general it’s just kind of really one big family for
Real so you know if I meet another capital or having another you know member of Omega sci-fi it’s like you know we have that one big network of just being a nirvana so it’s been kind of dope to network with the other individuals you know jobs churches
Whatever that may be being in a fraternity at the college helps with a lot of networking like when you first begin the process of becoming a member they always speak on the networking portion but you don’t really you mean you see in college but once you get out
Of college that’s when it really plays a it can play an integral part especially a few very social yeah I think it is definitely a different and pledge amount of PWI and HBCU I placed out of PWI and I have a lot of friends that place that HBCUs nothing
There’s a difference but ultimately we’re all in the same you know we’re all the same honestly it’s hard to answer that question I’ve personally pledged at a PWI I went through my process at a PW I attended Western Michigan University like I said by with epsilon chapters so
I can’t speak on HBCUs but you know being from the PWI we definitely had a great impact in our black community at least because you know we’re at a predominantly white institution yeah that the difference between a PWR HBCU pledging I believe there’s a huge difference I believe that
You go through different things you know with being on a predominantly black campus versus being on a mixed campus the only thing I really speak for was my you know my own campus which is where to say but I’ve been to several different HBCUs and such and the difference is
Just being there that atmosphere and such as way different so pledging being a part of a Greek organization that’s predominantly black being on a black campus everybody is just more so accepting of it whereas you know PW eyes is it’s a bit more of a
Battle I would say so I did research on all of returns not just returning sororities also but as in the fresh I definitely researched all of them and I guess obviously was when I picked it out herself cowbell Assad was my first choice I couldn’t see myself staging in
The other friend it’s just no not in me at all so it’s always big capital from day one um I didn’t do research on all of the organizations before I wanted to just the ones that kind of lined with what I wanted to be as far as my first
Choice it was the very first one I was solidified with it wasn’t the very first one I looked at but this was the fraternity that I felt like I was home and as a matter of fact I believe to this day you know if this fraternity didn’t exist I probably wouldn’t agree
Man I always speak to my fraternity brothers when I say in the room so gotta speak see a fraternity brothers see them in the room it’s definitely a purpose in it you know what I’m saying so man you walk into the room you see if returns
Your brother is linked on right then it is it’s got to be love I do not always speak to my fraternity brothers when I walk in the wrong I don’t avoid it per se but I definitely don’t always be if I walk into a room
And I see a wristband or any letters or whatever that may be that mean that may be affiliated with my right I’m definitely always speak to you um for us because you know we’re we’re the smallest you know everybody knows that first seeing each other is like almost
Like a brotherly interaction you ain’t seen your brother like 10 years or something like that you see him just like oh man what’s up you know there’s no like not speaking to them even when you don’t really know them like that it’s just great to see that there’s
Another one nearby me the year that I stopped party happened or going to all of the undergraduate parties and strolling everywhere and being super Neil was 2015 as soon as I cross I thought cross him graduated that was it for me stop strolling never it’s it would never stop no I’m just playing
Well no at the same time and a point in time you got to stop you know they they start calculating you as old get up says so I would say spring 15 I’m definitely in that box now what age do you stop party – yes that’s hard cuz you know I
See a bunch of old heads doing that right now what age am I gonna start party happened only strolling that Club I’m almost at that age right now I’m 26 now if I start scrolling at the club it’s probably gonna be like homecoming maybe just because I feel young again
And it’s in the school atmosphere so I guess you know if you feel love I mean you feel you’re looking you know you scroll you know you’re always gonna be on so it’s just opinions you know the environment you just gotta be right so I
Can’t say I can’t give you an age it’s just a lifestyle I might be 55 still strolling with the guys oh yeah I just meet up you
