Foreign Thank you I joined my organization because of The Sisterhood and love and one thing I love about my organization is that everywhere I’ve traveled I’ve lived in four states now no matter where I go I have a sister waiting for me and welcoming to that state Foreign Foreign That’s the biggest part and definitely don’t be shy to introduce yourself to these uh members of the organization that’s a big thing make yourself known foreign Foreign [Applause] Foreign Delta Sigma Theta sword Incorporated and was founded January 13 1913 on the campus of Howard University by 22 devastating Divas illustrious Collegiate women and so their efforts and social justice social action work at that time really inspired me campus hadn’t yet hit impaction yet in the CSU so I felt like
The campus in terms of the black experience it was blooming for me Crossing was that kind of Rites of Passage moment as a black Collegiate it was almost like a rebirth in a sense foreign Campus homeless Outreach programs or even just bringing fish fries and barbecues to the community as a whole and these are things that five minutes of Fraternity Incorporated uphold to our community now yeah all the women of Zeta five Beta sorority Incorporated we are going to mobilize our sorority our decision and the rest
Of Vietnam I would like to ask everybody if they could please have a moment of silence for our brother Maurice Colbert who’s only 29 years old across through this chapter spring 12. of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Incorporated I think it’s crucial for each and every student to find some way to get a connection with others at the University everybody’s going to face challenges we need that Community to be able to make sure that we can overcome those challenges together Thank you [Applause]
