I’m a trans girl and watch me enter the women’s bathroom the label says f for females as you can see I wonder if I’m burning for my sins yet let me know in the comments if I made the right decision real women we don’t make videos about going into the women’s bathroom
Go into the bathroom where women pee and poop I’m gonna do a little twerk in the mirror to words mental illness hi guys welcome back to the channel so I wanted to follow up on the case about the sorority girls who went to court to block a transgender student moving into
The house and living with them and the case was dismissed now the trans student has spoken out Artemis was on MSNBC and I want to react to the interview because I think it’s interesting to see how certain media Outlets are reporting this story they’re leaving out certain
Details they’re making it sound like an inspirational story for women yes they’re making it sound like an inspirational story for women obviously this is a trans identified person biological male but they’re referring to this person as a brave woman for example so I haven’t seen the whole interview so
I’m going to react to it and this person is now speaking out telling their story certain details have been left out details that came out in court that were in court documents concerns the girls had wubbies the girls had things they had seen that they
Didn’t want to see now I’m not sure if these girls are living in the sorority house they’re going to continue to be in the sorority but if it was me I would leave that sorority I think the sorority needs to get the Bud Light treatment if you ask
Me so MSNBC did a sympathetic interview with a transgender sorority member from the University of Wyoming after the student was accused of peeping on girls photographing them and asking them about their sex lives and genitals according to allegations in a lawsuit Artemis Langford is a transgender student a biological male who joined the
Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority chapter last October girls came forward in a suit in March expressing their discomfort with sharing the living quarters with Langford and Yasmin starts off the segment by saying the cases drawn widespread attention as scores continue to be a front line in these fights for
Lgbtq rights and for the very brave woman at the center of it all is joining me now not trans woman woman while we have to be called CIS so let’s take a look I want to share a story about Artemis Langford who is a student at the University of Wyoming and
Made history last fall as the first openly transgender woman to join a sorority being the first can be incredibly hard and this case is no exception so this is unprecedented this is the first transgender student to join a sorority rather than a fraternity or making up their own group and now this
Sets a precedent that’s what’s so scary about this so in the future when young women want to join sororities this is something they have to give serious consideration to you may have to share with a biological male a fully intact biological male who you know and if there’s anything untoward going on
Unfortunately they may not believe you because this University didn’t believe these Six Women already who sued to kick her out of the chapter over her trans identity the case has drawn widespread attention as schools continue to be a front line in these fights for lgbtq plus rights see she’s
Making it sound as if it’s about identity the same way you know you decide you don’t want to share a house with a black person that’s how she’s making it sound no it’s about them not wanting to share a house with a biological male with a man who has a penis and who
Allegedly is looking at them inappropriately making them feel uncomfortable they don’t want to share a house with a male because they’re women and it’s a sorority and that their expectation was that they were going to be sharing a house with other women not trans women not men not biological males
Not men who identify as women simply women that was their expectation and now it’s one thing when you go to college and it’s people of all different walks of life on campus but to share a house to share a bathroom to undress to get dressed to have that
Person undressing and getting dressed in front of you close spaces living quarters where you can be vulnerable that’s a completely different thing entirely and I think I’m not an expert on these things but I would think that’s why we even have celebrities and fraternities in the first place they separate the
Male and females so it wasn’t unreasonable for these women to expect to share a house with other women Artemis Langford the very brave woman at the center of it all is joining me now Artemis thanks for joining us on this appreciate it how you doing
Um thank you for having me on I’m doing okay this uh very unusual uh in my experience to be able to have this opportunity so I’m very thankful to be able to be with Peter today start off your Junior you should be thinking about what classes you’re taking
Um which friends you’re going to be hanging with what opening year parties you’re going to be going to instead you’re thinking about this lawsuit and how members of your sorority didn’t want you to be a part of it what is that like for you wow I can’t believe this is a woman
Interviewing this person and all the sympathy is going towards the trans person no fool for the young girls for the young women who have to live in this house under these circumstances no fault for them and this is coming from another woman it’s been a very difficult year let’s say the least um
The cheer on surrealness of being in a media cycle again and again even though I didn’t necessarily want to be given all this attention just because of my identity and then just the sheer Terror of being in a lawsuit and not knowing what happens next especially with us online and harassment
Both physically and then online has been very hard on myself and those that are in my chapter and campus in general yeah so this is six girls out of you know the number of women who are in the chapter so they’re trying to paint it
Out as this is just a few you know bigots he he took on this um lawsuit that the rest of the sorority is perfectly happy with it it came out in court as well they said that you know this is a huge chapter and it’s um they have different sororities
Throughout the country and this is just these six girls who are the bigots or whatever but we know full well that many women feel the same way about this sort of thing but are scared to speak out because they have received harassment they have received vilification and harassment online so they’re scared to
Speak out some of them have even had their scholarships threatened their place at University threatened their place on the team threatened they were talking about sports and have been given no support and from what I’ve been hearing about the case everything that’s been revealed about the case these young women didn’t get
Much support at all and they were basically called Liars because all they had was their stories and that wasn’t good enough they were basically called Elias these days you’ve got to get it on camera that’s where we’re at now you have to have some sort of audio you
Have to have some sort of video something to substantiate your claims otherwise you know they’re going to claim to not believe you they’re going to claim that you’re making it up very very sad that these young girls had to go through this and this is the precedent that has now been set
So again in the future how many girls are going to want to join sororities and this is what they do the minority who are perpetuating this tyranny they are the ones who are always the victim and that’s it and then we have different categories of victimhood there was a black person
Speaking out against a trans person the trans person takes precedence the victimhood of the black person doesn’t matter anymore there’s different categories as well I’ve noticed if it’s a gay man no if it’s a lesbian woman speaking out against a trans person the trans person takes precedence the lesbian woman is a bigot
Because she doesn’t want to date a biological male this is where we’re at now there’s different hierarchies and that’s what we’re seeing here this has been perpetuated here the young women who feminists are supposed to get behind they don’t matter now this was unexpected for them too
They thought they were just joining the sorority they thought it was going to be the most girliest thing they never come across me I was always a tomboy a sorority is not something that I would have even thought of doing they thought they were joining the most girliest thing you could join and
There’s a a biological male in the house now probably six foot something I don’t know how tall the person is sharing a shower and allegedly also taking some pleasure in being surrounded by girls because let’s not act like there isn’t a condition where this sort of thing is fetishized I
Don’t know if I said that right let’s not act like that condition doesn’t exist or something like that I’d like to look it up now let’s not act like that condition isn’t a a real thing and I’m not claiming that this person has that I don’t know but based on the allegations
That were made it points towards that based on the allegations that the court didn’t believe I have to say I have to acknowledge that this person has the court on their side this person has the law on their side so they can come out come on TV
And basically say that they’re the ones who have the credibility now because the call you know was on artemis’s side unfortunately and now people are questioning the credibility of these young women for speaking out and I really hope it doesn’t deter people fighting this you either fight it or you just boycott
It in meaning don’t join a sorority if this is The Stance they take unless the sorority unequivocally says we are only for females because sororities have a heads up now if you don’t want this sort of thing happening to you you’re gonna have to go back to your bylaws and Define a woman
Adult human female in case you didn’t know you’re going to have to Define that in your bylaws now and if you don’t I can only assume that you’re okay with this I can only assume that you’re okay with Mel’s joining your sorority has been very impacted because of that
And I just want to say I don’t condone harassment you know against people in this community or anything like that I just want to say that but I do notice that the females of the young girls doesn’t seem to matter to this host do people harass you on campus do they
Say things to you on campus there have been some confrontations and interactions some are More pleasant than one would think like one person came up to me saying that oh they’re gonna pray for me I don’t know in what context they wanted to convey but I was like oh thank you for praying uh others have been just very hostile with um passive aggression or layers and bumps
Into you like someone like purposely tries to hit into you oh man those kind of competitions I’m grateful nothing has gone beyond that fortunately I know this lawsuit was brought on by I believe six members of your sorority um do you have support from other women in the house
Very glad to have such great supportive sisters in my chapter I think as a sorority Kappa Okay so RMS is talking about supporting the chapter didn’t really answer the question about do you have support from other women in the house now I would like to know how
Big this house is because there’s six women who came forward and an Artemis so unless they live in some 16 bathroom Mansion like having a Megan um led to assume that this is a normal house and that’s it the people in the house who went to court
That’s who lives in the house there may be one or two more I don’t know but Artemis didn’t really answer the question there just started talking about the chapter in general where you know where there are a lot of members all over the country so the women in this house are not comfortable
But this one person their wants and desires takes precedence over the feelings of those six women the people in the house don’t want you there but you’re insisting on being there just like when it comes to women’s bathrooms women don’t want men coming into their bathrooms women don’t want men who claim
To identify as a woman coming into their bathrooms that can be anybody but it doesn’t matter I’m going to impose myself in women’s spaces because what I want matters more than your rights the fact that you have certain expectations doesn’t matter you’re gonna have to change your expectations now and
Pretend that you’re okay with it it’s me demonstrate so much about very wonderful values from loyalty to courage to Trailways and such very smart people that I’m so glad to have on my side the chapter I think it’s just a very difficult experience because no one was
Expecting to be there and to be in that kind of situation uh now it’s been a great release the people who expected it the least were the girls were the women if you’re a transgender person um your biological male who identifies as a woman I don’t see how you can claim to not
Have expected this the only people who have come across this unsuspectedly are the women because you’re going into a sorority house and it’s a biological male there you’re going to compete as a swimmer and there’s a six foot four guy there in the locker room we’re the ones who’ve had to deal with
This unsuspectingly I don’t see how you can claim that this is a surprise to you unless you’ve been told that women are okay with this sort of thing in general they’re just okay with you know males being in their locker rooms you were lied to you were lied to maybe you’ve
Been watching too much MSNBC it’s that that perhaps that can finally be over it takes a very brave and unique person to do this to be a first in a situation like this and then to continue on um what makes you want to stay with everything that you’ve been through
I think I want people to know that everything that they’ve experienced that I’m certainly not the first trans person to ever be attacked by elements in the media to the use and unfortunately I don’t think I’ll beat the last but I want people to know that it’s never okay
For that kind of scrutiny on a person just because of their identity just because I’m trans and I hope that you know even if there’s one person out there that feels that their identity is being attacked that it’s okay to be who they are and it’s
Never okay to be a time to another identity whether it’s because of their race their gender identity their sexual orientation religion or Creed that every day that they can be themselves is a good day for us all it’s okay to be exactly who you are Artemis Langford thank you so much
Um appreciate it reality doesn’t change biology doesn’t change and that’s where we’re at now that’s the issue we come across people from all different walks of life but that doesn’t mean that we’re allowed to infringe upon certain spaces that we don’t belong in biologically I’m not talking about appearance things
That are skin deep superficial I’m talking about the differences between male and females those differences will always exist regardless of how someone changes themselves outwardly regardless what procedures a person goes through we still have expectations as women I don’t hear about men having to deal with women in their Sports
It’s only women’s spaces that are being affected by this so how can you say that this is about equality this is about fairness because clearly it isn’t and it’s the people who don’t have the media on their side the courts on their side the majority of politicians on their side
Those are the ones who are being told that they have to deal with it and they have to like it and if they don’t they’re bigger and that’s women that’s where women that’s what women are dealing with now and what’s heartbreaking is not just grown women we’re seeing this happen
With our young girls misogyny with lipstick misogyny in a dress that’s what we’re dealing with now in 2023. it’s I’m going to impose myself in your space and you’re going to like it that’s it so a lot was left out there no questions about the allegations the
Girls made but of course this was all to paint one person as a victim and the others as villains now I’m not saying that artemis’s point of view shouldn’t be heard but you can believe that these young women aren’t going to be invited to MSNBC to give their side of the story so
I would like to call those younger women the six young women who went to court over this I would like to call them Brave because I think that’s they’re the ones who are brave they’re the ones who are fighting for other young girls who are coming behind them who are joining a
Sorority thinking they’re going to be surrounded by sisters and there’s a dude there that’s who they’re fighting for and I commend them once again for taking it as far as they took it if they want to appeal great if they’re able to and again I think it’s time that people
Start giving these sororities the Bud Light treatment unless they make it unequivocally clear in their bylaws what a woman is and who the sorority is for it’s time to start looking at other endeavors I just don’t think it’s worth it so let me know what you think thanks for
Watching take care of yourselves and God willing I will see you in the next video
