Yeah i’m just going on a mental health this week has been super crazy for me and i mentally drain and i just need to refocus because a lot of has happened it threw me off my game mentally um but that’s besides the point i look a mess
Happy mother’s day to all the mothers out there excuse the background is kind of messy i am actually in the process of re-reading my room whatever so this video um Is going to be about what to wear to your interview even if it’s virtual giving you guys some tips of what to wear and also i really think everything is going back to normal so i think the most likely probably about the fall semester a lot of intake processes
Um and rush is going to be face to face instead of virtual because we’re post um code a year now so i may drop a picture somewhere and show you guys what i wore to my brush just to give you an idea of actually what to wear to watch and people don’t
Realize that what what you actually wear to rush plays a huge part in your selection process because i know my profile and my big sisters told me well they told my line that they were like going in on some of the girls that came to our rush and it was like why the
Hell were they wear that they look a hot mess so and i know for a fact with my neos but my line sisters and stuff they was telling what other people wore to rush and was like what the hell why would i wear that
And then i know with my rush um with my current line sisters after we actually got selected he was like why the hell why the was she at it like we were just going every basically you would get judged like hell on what you were wearing to your eyes do
You want to keep it simple you want to keep it basic people understand simplicity is the best i wore to my rush and actually speaking of um rush my big sister well my now big sister she actually i remember um getting a phone call from her
And she actually told me what to wear and then she was like tell the other people what to wear too and i was just like damn so if you guys don’t get that chance of getting a phone call like hey this is what you need to wear
Well um i’m just gonna give it to you so what they wanted us to wear to rush was a black blazer a white buttoned up a black pencil skirt black kitten heels like this big not stilettos kitten heels and some skin tone stockings wear your hair straight no full face
Do a do a natural beat if you have on lipstick make sure it’s a nude color or don’t wear lipstick at all um do chapstick or lip gloss nothing so that’s so basic right so basic and where i got my um i actually got the
Skirt suit from h m and it was like a hundred dollars for the button down the blazer and the um the skirt i got the shoes from h m as well i think they were like 25 and then i got my stockings i think from walmart so all together i probably paid like
100 maybe 40 150 for my whole outfit for us you have to invest in it and it was a good investment because i wore the hell out of that um skirt suit the hell out of it and but there’s always places you can go if you don’t have 150 to spare you can
Always go to walmart because walmart is coming up on their clothes their business attire um you can go to a thrift store because typically a lot of thrift stores they have actually nice business clothes sometimes they’re not even hand-me-downs they’re brand new with the tag still on them so
There’s options that you can go to get your business business attire but definitely don’t wear no extra colors just keep it black and white simple and when i tell you get skin tone stockings do not get a complexion darkening you do not get a complexion lighter than you because
It would skin tone stockings make sure you guys wear stockings to your interview process because when you if you’re actually selected you will have to wear stockings to m.i.p every day i know we had to wear stockings every day of our m.i.p and that was two weeks so
Guess what we had a couple of i had a couple of um skin tone stockings and rotation so yes black blazer white button down black pencil skirt skin tone stockings and black kitten heels do not add any color to it do not have a pants known don’t be
Just keep it simple that is so basic and i don’t know what else to tell you so if someone in the chapter tells you what to wear wear that do not do nothing more or nothing less so that’s basically it i hope you guys like this video if you did
