Offers so I want to talk to you if you are brand new if you have an idea for a business or maybe you already have a business but you haven’t launched it to the public yet you haven’t let people know that you already have something to sell something for them to buy something

Want to share some of my launch tips but I want to paint up the picture for you so imagine if you had a product that you wanted to sell imagine it’s excuse me imagine it’s the year 2002 and you have a business okay and you are selling dry race markers because
Dry race was all the craze back then right and we have Becky here with her hair growth oil okay so imagine you are selling a physical product okay and you’re like I need to Market my business I need to get clients so imagine you go
To a random place and you go to a big old room that seats you don’t look ashy thanks de you go to a random room that seats a thousand people you set up your table you put your tablecloth out you put out all your products you set up your low cash
Register you do all the things and you sit there and you wait for someone to buy from you will you make any sales Kimberly says I look like you’re a twin oh thank you me too if you set up your business in an empty room that seats a
Thousand people but there’s no one in there you set up your table all beautiful will you make sales are you going to make money okay Kinley say goodbye have a good night bye guys okay close the door will you make sales if you set up your table in an empty room
With all of your beautiful markers and all of these amazing colors that we’ve never seen before will you make sales absolutely not why because nobody knows that you are there so what I see from a lot of new business owners is they pop up in the middle of the night like Beyonce Beyonce
Has spent years building her no like and Trust Factor through being a member of Destiny’s Child we knew who Beyonce was okay she has solo albums and then all of a sudden she wakes up one night and she dropped something in the middle of the night and everybody was like shook if
But everybody in their grandma bought the right even though we didn’t know it was coming Beyonce already had a following if Target doesn’t epic deal in the middle of the night and sends us an email we’re going to buy we already know Target we like Target We Trust Target we
Know they have good products thank you so much for the Roses we know them we like them we trust them we know something is coming we know something is coming when you start a business no one knows you no one knows who you are you
Have no for a lack of better terms you got not no street cred so when you are launching a business you cannot just pop up with a website in the middle of the night and expect people to buy from you if this makes sense please give me some
Likes especially on Tik Tok when you give me likes Tik Tok knows that you like this hey Alicia thank you so much for those Roses thank you so much for those Roses if this makes sense please give me some likes on Tik Tok because Tik Tok loves when you give me
Likes no one knows you are exist so yes no one’s going to buy from your website no one’s going to buy from your website if you start an Instagram today you have no followers and you post the real no you’re not going to get any sales because you don’t have an audience
So these launching tips are more about you getting prepared to sell so my first tip for you we’re gonna be strategic my first tip for you when it comes to launching a brand new business when no one knows you I want you to decide what date do you want to
Launch your business and start selling your products what date do you want to open up your doors and people can actually purchase from you what date and I would suggest give yourself some time if you say tomorrow great but we cannot build an audience overnight okay it’s not
Instant mashed potatoes it doesn’t work like that okay so choose a date that you want to launch your business for us right now we’re going to say I want to launch in January 2024 it’s October right now you want to launch and start selling in January 2024 cool so my
Second step is work backwards 60 days before you want people to start buying so I want people to start buying my product on January 10th so if we go 30 days that’s December 10th if we go another 30 days that’s November 10th November 10th is your 60 days out what
Does that mean 60 days out tip number three you are going to start to build your audience that room of a thousand we got to fill it up we’ve got to get people in we have got to start posting some content some engaging informational educational content about our business
So that we can build our audience of Ideal clients that we are going to sell to does this make sense we need to fill up that room of people so when when January 10th comes you have someone to sell to how do you build your audience you are going to post daily
Content post daily content if Daily doesn’t work for you three times a week content depending on your platform which is another live for another day but you want to be posting at least weekly depending on your platform if you’re doing Instagram or Tik Tok I’m suggesting three to five times per week
You should show up if you’re doing YouTube one to two times a week you should be showing up so that your audience can start to build that no like and Trust Factor if no one knows you no one likes you no one trusts you hey Nicole no one’s going to buy from
You you are not gonna buy from a random person that you do not know no not going to work especially when you’re starting your business from scratch you have to build your audience so daily content about why you started this business who this business is for
Who it helps how it helps them why we need it why we should follow you why your business is different from all of your competitors you want to start to share the what and the why okay I have a one-onone client and I’m helping her launch her bussiness early next year she
Made um a men’s skincare line and when I start posting her content in November is probably December is when we’re going to start posting we’re going to be talking about all her ingredients why it’s all natural why it’s better than buying from the big brains at Target and CVS and Sephora why her
Products are different we’re going to show the people that have been using her products what they before and are like I’m going to start sharing testimonials from people who are like I love these products I use these products they help with this and this and this I’m going to
Share her story of why she started it who it’s for how it’s going to help them and I’m not ever going to say go buy the products no the second month I’m gonna say get on the wait list because we are launching on X date in February we are
Launching on X date in January okay so when you go 60 days out the first 30 days is just hardcore build the audience the second 30 days is get people who are interested in buying on your email list which brings me to tip number four start an email list on day
One so an email list is basically an email service provider where you pay and you are able to have people give their name their email their phone number their Instagram or Tik Tok handle and you have a database of their emails so if people are like I want to buy your
Product when it launches on January 10th you have what we call a hot leads list of people who said I want your Expo markers I’m ready to buy put a number one on the chat if you’ve ever signed up for anybody’s weight list um a weight
List for Sephora a weight list for your favorite makeup brand a weight list to get more information about something that’s coming in the future you know that not times out of 10 you want to buy this product even if you don’t buy it on launch day you know it’s something you
Want to buy so you want to let your audience know hey my offer is coming on January 10th it’s December right now but if you want to be the first to know if you want to get a bonus if you want to get a discount if you’re offering a
Discount if you want to get something special you need to put your name down on this email list so now maybe you have 300 people in your room but you got 25 people that are like [ __ ] I want to buy it there’s 300 people in
The room but 25 of them off the bat are like I’m gonna buy this I want this I need this it’s for me you get them on your email list now you are building a sales funnel you have followers you have an email list you have people who
Self-identified that they want to buy from you okay you want to use calls to action in your content that says join my email list to be the first to know when we launch launch join my email list to get this epic bonus that we’re going to
Share okay and then the fifth tip share every damn detail about your product or service that you are launching two weeks out so when we’re two weeks away so right right before the new year I need to know what color Expo markers you have share all the
Colors show me the tips right with Them on the board do a writing test do it on a white board do it on a clear board do it on a glass board do it on a pra uh a plastic board I want you to show me the full gamut I want you to show me your markers
Next to other markers I want to see it all I want to know how I can buy them individually or in a pack I want to know about the bundle I want to know how much it costs for each and every marker why is this important for launching your business y’all you want
People primed and ready to buy so on January 10th what card is this on January 10th they got their credit card in hand and when you send out the weight list email at 6:00 AM everyone else can buy at 10: a.m. at 6:00 a.m. when them
On the wait list I am typing in my credit card information and buying my PR I’m so excited I’m choking child I’m so excited I’m choking you want people to be lined up like a planner launch I love talking about a planner launch because I use Aaron condrin planners this is not an
Aaron condrin cover but the guts of my planner is an Aaron condrin planner and I feel like planner companies do this so damn well okay you see this Aaron condrin life planner the planner companies they are going to show you a couple weeks before first they’re going to reveal the covers
Then they’re going to reveal the insides they’re going to show you every single page and every single detail of the planner they’re going to show you the different coils they’re going to show you the different colors they’re going to show you all the accessories right the pins you can buy the stickers you
Can buy the magnets you can buy these um dashboards that you can buy everything that you can get with the planner they are going to show you everything so when it’s launch day on January 10th I know the color planner I know the accessories I know the notebooks the pens everything
That I want I know what bundle I want so on launch day I can click add to cart and buy please give me some likes type some yeses in the comments if this makes sense when you are launching your business it has to be strategic you cannot wait until January 10th launch
Day to talk about it you cannot wait until the day that you want people to buy to start talking about it let’s talk about the biggest shopping holiday that’s coming up right now Black Friday now Black Friday is completely different than what it was 10 years ago it’s really black November at
This point they’re having Amazon Prime deals and Walmart deals like literally right now as we speak this week right Black Friday how how far in advance do we used to get Black Friday ads at least two weeks before actual Thanksgiving so the second week of November the Black
Friday ads were out you could literally go in and decide what you wanted to buy if you were getting your TV from Walmart Target or Best Buy which one had the best price price which one had the best promos which ones had the best deals you could strategically decide what you were
Buying at what store because they sent out the ads early how much more of a cluster would it have been if you didn’t know what was on sale for Black Friday until Black Friday and this is when we physically had to go in the store now
Online it’s okay to figure out it is but the stores that we were shopping at we already knew what they had you already knew what was in Best Buy you know what’s in Target you know what’s in Walmart new products are not popping up but they are giving you the opportunity
To buy the things that you have been wanting to buy all year for a discounted price by letting us know that it’s available you want to use that same method when you are launching your business you want people to know everything possible you want them to be
So informed that again on Lun day they are ready to buy does this make sense on launch day they are ready to buy it takes people tens to 20 times to decide if they are ready to buy something or do something so if you are talking about your your business at
Nauseum for the first 30 days cool then you’re talking about your offer for the next 30 days on launch day people are going to have their credit card in hand and ready to buy they’ve already thought about it they’ve already seen thems using it they’ve already figured out if this is a
Good investment and then in those last two weeks you tell them the price so if it is something they got to get their coin together for they get their coin together and they are ready to buy on launch day they know what credit card they’re going to put it on they know
What debit card they’re going to be using there’s no question they are ready to buy you cannot pop up in the middle of the night and expect people to buy from you you cannot just start a Shopify website and expect the traffic to come you cannot post one to two videos on Tik
Tok expect them to go viral and get a crap ton of sales the goal is consistent sales not virality because if you were to let’s just say go viral on Tik Tok and you got a thousand orders your first day can you handle that probably not a thousand orders your first day you
Probably cannot handle that if you are a small business working out of your house be real if a th000 people tried to sign up for one of my pro programs it would break my business from the way that my programs are set up I cannot a I cannot
Handle a thousand I can handle a 100 I could work a 100 I can make that work anything more than like 150 your girl’s going to be in panic mode because that’s too many people for me to manage at once going viral is not the goal consistency
Is the goal you want to make sales every single month you do not want to have giant giant months and then nothing for months because you relied on one Tik Tok to bring you in does this make sense your goal should be to build an audience
Of people who know like and trust you that are your ideal client that want to buy your offer they want to buy your product or service once you have that you will always have sales coming in so if you are new to business if you are looking
To start your business do not wait until the day that you’re able to take people’s money to talk about your offer you cannot just throw up a website and expect sales to come in if you are selling clothing or jewelry and you have the stock photos take some pictures in the clothes
Take some pictures with the jewelry you can take amazing pictures on your phone iPhone Android iPad you can take some bomb pictures no one wants to see that stuffy old white girl from the internet no one wants to see that that they want to see you they want to see real people
They want to see the curves they want to see in real life what is this going to look like not a stock photo on a model OKAY make it engaging make it exciting make it like oh my gosh this is the planner this is going to get my life
All the way together I need this I want this but the only way to create that desire is to build up to it so those are my tips for launching your business now as I said I am a business coach and I help women start and grow their businesses so

You want to do marketing to see like what um groups of people in your area need CPR certifications and then you can go to them and offer it then you can also if you don’t own a store you can find a place that you can rent out so
Like go to your local libraries to see hey can I host a CPR class here um in exchange for using the room I’m not sure what state you’re in but you could do that you could also rent a room at a place and say hey um how much is it to
Rent the room and then you can do the marketing if people individually need CPR certifications in your area you sell tickets for them to come to the CPR certification and it’s in a rented room and just the price of the rent of the room just needs to be included in the
Price of their ticket does that make sense so there’s so much that you can do if you’re mobile you don’t need a storefront for that you literally can rent space but in the beginning instead of renting space just go to the groups of people go to the groups of people
Go to the groups of people does that make sense any other questions any other questions okay but I’m sure that they have rooms that you can rent so even if it’s not the library don’t let that um hold you back right don’t let the library hold you
Back um look to see what other places are in your area that will allow you to rent a room what other places are available um if there’s any local hotels to see how much they charge for an hour or two I don’t know how long you need any Halls
Um if there’s any college campuses near you you may be able to rent a room for them from cheap um a community college all of that so just keep looking just keep looking just keep looking just keep looking any other questions such a great question any other questions you’re so
