Involved in these organizations in these Brotherhood’s and sisterhood and I want to tell people I do understand the appeal that they have for people that’s in the world so I understand why worldly people people who are not believers unbelievers why they join but I don’t understand why Christians why Christians
Would be a part of this and I’m saying I see pastors I see mature believers in Christ that are still identifying with these worldly organizations with these Brotherhood’s and sisterhood that are not in Christ and this goes against the scriptures I just want to read two scriptures to passage of scriptures for
You right quick and then I’ll come back and tell you what I’m getting in and make my point here I think that is very strong point very clear from what the Scripture teaches first is second Corinthians chapter six verses 14 and 15 description reads do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers
For what partnership has righteousness with unlost with lawlessness or what Fellowship has light with darkness what Accord has Christ with Belial or what portion doesn’t believe a share with an unbeliever secondly the other packaged passage is Matthew chapter 12 verses 46 through 50 while he was still talking to the multitudes behold his
Mother and brother stood outside seeking to speak with him referencing Jesus Christ here then one said to him look your mother and your brothers are standing outside seeking to speak with you but he answered and said to the one who told him who is my mother and who

Something here and the reason why I say Christians should not be a part of these organizations these Brotherhood’s and suspenders because first of all the idea that believers and unbelievers ought to be yoked together and such unity such brotherhood or sisterhood that goes against what the scripture says notice
That the first scripture that I read you said what do the unbelievers gonna believers have in common why would you be yoked together with unbelievers you all have nothing in common and so when I hear people talking about their join the fraternities and sororities so that they
Can do good work this makes no sense for the Christian because you can do good work within your community I understand why the world does it but not the Christian because the Christian should not want to be yoked together with these unbelievers now a lot of times people
Use this passage when it’s when they talk about Marisa no a believer Christian believers should marry an unbeliever which is true but in the same way that they have nothing in common the same way that the believer the Christian believer has nothing in common with these unbelievers so why would you join
A organization why would you join these people and talk about these are your brothers and sisters when ultimately you all should not have anything in common and you see this continually go on and you see people justify it now for my young people out there who are
Christians and that might be right now you in college you might be thinking about joining a fraternity or sorority don’t do it let that go and let the people who are worldly people unbelievers let them do that and I even see older adults who have graduated
College now looking to go back and do grant chapters where they’re joining some fraternity or sorority don’t do it your identity and Christ should be enough and for my Christian brothers and sisters out there who are still identified who’s still throwing up sign steel all over Facebook and different
Places social media throwing up your side your idea to show and your tattoos and your markings and here you are Christian but you’re still showing these worldly symbols this worldly identity shame on you it’s showing that your identity in Christ is not enough where you want to wear certain colors and certain symbols
To represent yourself and to represent your Brotherhood the identity that you should have is your identity in Christ the marking that you should have is the marking of the Holy Spirit that’s sealed on you not tattoos not colors not simple forget all of this if your identity in
Christ if you are in Christ let that identity be enough and I see people who are joining the Masonic Lodge and the eastern stars and these organization have a spiritual component to it that makes them even the more dangerous because here they are now mixing in religion mixing in spirituality with
These organizations and as a Christian you should not look to be a part of such organizations and I’m telling you now the Masonic Lodge and the eastern stars is not Christian stay away from and anyone who’s telling you that it is they are lied to you and I know you got
Pastors and deacons and other leaders within the community and are in the community that are part of these organizations they don’t understand what they’re doing they don’t understand the danger they don’t understand the mixing in of religion and these organizations to make it come off as something that’s acceptable for the Christian when
Reality it really isn’t stay away from it and I’m telling you for people who are encouraging you to do this do not listen to them and for people who are in this Christians who are endless you should leave these organizations immediately you should disown fellowship you should
Not be talking about your brother these are your brothers and says they are not your brothers and sisters and going back to the passage I just read and Matthew in Matthew chapter 12 where Jesus makes the point the people who are truly his brothers and sisters are those who do
The will of Christ those who do do will of God these people are not doing the will of God and again you hear these people talking about they’re doing these different things they might be doing certain things within the community but just because they might be doing something within the community they
Might have some works over here that they’re doing that doesn’t mean that it’s Christian even if you look at the initiation of some of these groups from fraternities and sororities from the hazing that they do and some will say that they are no longer doing that but
If even if you look at what they stand for they are not Christian and the for the Masonic lots of Easter star well I just speak for the Masonic Lodge I don’t know what the eastern star process here’s a fourth initiation all this secretive religious symbols and symbolic
Stuff that goes on is not of God it’s not of the Bible so these are enough reasons clearly pointed out in the scriptures that Christians should just stay away for the unbeliever let the unbeliever do what the unbelievers gonna do but for my people that are truly Christians stay away young people that
Are in college stay away Christians who are faithful Bible believing Christians stay away do not be enticed to sign up or to be a part of these Brotherhood’s and Sisterhood’s that are based on the world and not a price they are not of God this is not
What God desires for the Christian let them wear their colors let them wear their symbols let them identify with all these other unbelievers and feel like they’re really doing something and really part of something and you look and understand that’s what they do but for the Christian the Christian identity
