Christians pledging to Fraternities and Sororoties

I just want to talk about christians who pledge to fraternities and sororities because many believers do they pledge they swear in they do a swearing-in of an oath to some type of entity or or some type of principle or they’ll take a sheet of paper and read what it’s all

About and then they’ll pledge their life to do this and such all the days of their lives and they’ll commit to it making a vow and the word of god tells us as believers let your yeah be yay and your nays be nay so you don’t have to

Swear to anything you don’t have to swear you don’t have to pledge to anything no god is all you need you and all these brothers that are in masons mason started out it was straight up occultic that’s all the masons were about they uh used to sacrifice blood

And offer up animals and all types of things in the masons and um so that thing it derived and originated from occultic practices so christians and you know i’m not speaking about maybe things such as rotary clubs and lions clubs and elks lodges and so forth

I don’t know a whole lot about that but if you had to pledge and swear in of an oath to become a part of it or like in college many of these different fraternities are out doing their stumps and such and putting on their different skits and plays and so forth or programs

Uh around the student union or throughout the their years in the university and they’re branding their arms with these symbols and they take these pledges you know ah no you don’t brand your arm uh in honor of some entity other than god that’s like that’s idolatry it’s not like idolatry that is

Idolatry don’t you do that for anybody so christians who are involved in that need to pull out of it no and you just if no you just serve god he’s all you serve you can join groups and clubs and so forth but don’t you pledge or swear in you don’t have to

Hold your right hand or you don’t have to you don’t even have to put your hand on the bible just let your yay be yay and your nays be nay that’s what it’s all about so as christians we are not encouraged the word of god does not encourage us to

Swear in to vow to make pleasures to these entities to join up with these certain groups and become a part of it to live our life by those principles in their little pamphlets man shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth

Of god and that’s what christians live by we live by the word not by some little book and that’s some group devised up and decided they’re going to be a a certain alpha kappa and some kind of psy beta fader and all those types of things all the different names they have

For them don’t do that no and if you’re in it and you’re still giving your life to it you’re still committed to that that’s wrong because you got something that’s you you place that higher than god and higher than the word of god so don’t do

That now i know there are all types of exceptions to this here we’re not talking about that i’m speaking specifically if those things are higher than the word of god in your life if that thing you’re pledging to is if that thing is higher than god it becomes your

Idol in your life then you need to repent of that and pull out of it because that’s big time deception so i just wanted to talk about christians who plans to fraternities and sororities watch out that’s dangerous just skating on thin ice
