An alleged capital rioter by the name of Levi Gable was turned into the FBI by one of his own fraternity brothers. Now, the men are in their late thirties. They were fraternity brothers 15 years ago. But once a fraternity brother, always a brother, right? That’s how the brotherhood of the fraternities goes.
But apparently the bonds of brotherhood were not strong enough for this individual to see his friend posting videos and other posts on Facebook claiming to have participated in the capital riot, to where his friend said, I have to tell the FBI about this, right?
You know, his duty as an American citizen, as a law abiding American citizen, somebody who loves this country was much stronger. Thank God than this brotherhood he created with this individual 15 years ago, as part of his fraternity. Now let me read this. This is what Levi Gable had on his social media.
this is according to the FBI. I was among the first people to make our way into the us capital. Building those in the building first were there in protest, the vice president, Mike Pence’s statement that he would not stand with the American people and challenge the
Results of 20 twenty’s stolen presidential election. The proof is undeniable for anyone who takes an objective. Look at the accusations of election fraud provided you were looking somewhere other than the fake news and social media. What you’ve just admitted to my friend as a federal crime, which I’m sure is probably
Why your friend, your former fraternity brother felt the need to turn you in because you see what you admitted to. There is not just that you were in the capital, which is the misdemeanor, right misdemeanor. Oh, I’m walking around the Capitol. I’m not supposed to be here, but I’m here.
But you admitted that your goal was to impede a congressional event. That’s a felony, that’s a felony. You got yourself into a felony because you’re so dumb that you wrote it on Facebook. And as your friend also showed the FBI, you posted videos.
Now I do admire the fraternity brother, and I am glad that he turned this individual in. I am not trying to attack him whatsoever. I’m I’m mocking, you know, the, the bonds of brotherhood in that particular instance, cuz clearly love of America stronger than the bonds of the fraternity.
But what I do find sad about this story is the fact that this fraternity brother had to turn him in, in the first place. These weren’t private messages, private videos that he was texting to confidants, right? This wasn’t a private journal that he kept underneath his pillow. This was social media.
He, he put this on Social media. He posted the videos on social media and somebody had to flag these for the FBI that is supposed to still be looking for people like they had to send it in and be like, all right, Hey, Hey guys, guys here, here he is here.
He is, come and get him. And the FBI’s like, oh man, thank you. Apparently we never would’ve seen that because we don’t know where the hell to look. Now we have seen a lot of individuals that have participated in the capital riot that got busted because they put their crap on social media.
But apparently there are still a couple of little cockroaches out there that have not had their rotting logs kicked over yet. And they’re still posting this stuff or they posted it back then and nobody bothered to turn them in. There’s so many failures here that I can’t even fathom.
Uh, you have the failure of the social media companies. Like they could create an algorithm by the end of the day, that would basically catch every single post that mentions the capital riot, capital, building, insurrection, whatever the keywords they want it to be.
They could create an algorithm that would immediately flag those for them. They could go in and review them and then they could send them. So, okay. That’s the failure of the social media companies. These people are using your platforms to boast about breaking the law and you’re just kind
Of letting them the FBI could also do the same thing. Obviously this is an ongoing federal investigation. You can subpoena these records. You know, you can get access to all of this same stuff too. Like why do you have to wait for people to turn other people in when it’s all out there?
Public it’s public and the FBI? I don’t know. Maybe they’re busy, whatever it is. Thank goodness we have people like this, uh, fraternity brother willing to turn people in. Cuz apparently that’s what it’s gonna take. So folks, I guess as the airport announcements say, if you see something, say something,
Cuz God knows our authority figures. Aren’t actually actively out there looking for it, even though it’s right in their faces.
