My name is lemicia collins i’m a member of the zeta phi beta sorority incorporated the pi omega zeta chapter of round rock texas zeta phi beta’s award incorporated was founded on the principles of scholarship service sisterhood and final womanhood we would like to salute our honorable doctor deborah cannon partridge wolf

Who served as the 14th grand bacillus of zeta phibetus award incorporated from 1953 to 1965. in 1951 she was hired as queen’s college first african-american professor on the college campus in 1962 she took a leave of absence to work for the united states house of representatives her title was education

Chief of the committee of education and labor and she worked with the former presidents john f kennedy and lyndon bane johnson she was also active in the civil rights movement as well marched along with dr martin luther king jr of constitution avenue she served as the vice president of the national council

For negro women she continued her lifelong environment in numerous organizations after her retirement and achieved many firsts as an african-american female she was the first black woman ordained by the american baptist church she was the first african-american to be named the fellow of the american baptist american association of advancements of science

To become a member and later chair of the new jersey state of board of higher education serve as a member of education foundation of kappa delta phi she was also an african-american member of the seton hall university board of regents and advisor board to celestia library and radcliffe college because of her

Great achievements she was awarded more than 26 honorary doctorates a high school in macon and account of meghan county alabama and a dormitory of training college state college in new jersey were named in her honor thank you to our sister dr debra cannon partridge wolf for your hard work and dedication and
