Outside of that i’m going to go there i’m going i said i was going to discuss the things that a lot of people are not talking about when it comes to abuse of power i’m going there in this video i want to talk about narcissistic abuse within fraternities and sororities i repeat
This video is about narcissistic abuse within fraternities and sororities so in other words we know you join you know if you go to college there’s all types of sororities and fraternities a frat is the all-male organization a brotherhood um they’re united some type of way whether it’s through
Academics whether it’s through sports or just social same thing sororities are the female organizations they’re united uh either through education maybe music maybe honorary social what have you there’s many many many many different types of fraternities and sororities greek and non-greek there is a serious abuse of power within these organizations
And has been going on for decades and i’m gonna call it out i’m gonna share with you an experience i had when i pledged a non-greek organization and i was hazed i’m not going to say the name of the non-greek sorority because they’re not worth the spit in my mouth and i don’t
Give a damn if they watch this they shouldn’t have horrible narcissistic winches within their organization bad blood i like to call it but i had a friend this friend is no longer my friend because now i know for a fact she’s a narcissist herself she was in this organization this non-greek uh sorority
She pledged 20 years ago when we were in college together i never pledged i’ve always considered pledging um grad chapter because i have a bachelor’s and master’s degree um and i have chosen the specific sorority greek sorority that i want but i have my hesitation um my reservations excuse me and i’m
Very hesitant and i don’t think i i ever will pledge um there’s no way that i can because now that i have this spiritual purpose that i’m on and i know who i am for for a fact there’s no way that i can affiliate myself or go into something knowing
There is a chance that i will be abused by a narcissist i had a horrible experience with a non-greek sorority my friend pledged this sorority 20 years ago so this this happened i would say about five six years ago six seven years something like that
And she my friend tried to pull me in she convinced me hey we’re gonna have um a open meeting whatever they call them a rush or you know um where you can sign up and get information and all that so my friend convinced me my friend at that time she
Is no longer my friend she exposed herself as a narcissist um she pulled me into this organization and um i got to meet one chapter and the president of the chapter was an older woman the same age as my mother and they explained to me you would be perfect in this
Organization we’re not like the greeks the greeks are you know ass backwards they they threw dirt on the greeks we’re better than don’t pledge with the greeks come to us we’re nothing like them blah blah blah i’m like okay cool this sounds pretty good an organization that uplifts black women
And um sisterhood and there’s no nonsense i definitely went in thinking there wouldn’t be any hazing um so i said well sign me up so i applied i had all my credentials i had my bachelor’s at the time i didn’t have my master’s degree and um i had to pay a 500
Entry fee cool paid my money then came the we had to go online and when i say online those of you that are familiar with fraternities and sororities or if you’re a part of one when you go online it means nobody on the outside world knows that you are pledging so you’re
Doing secret meetups you’re you’re on secret assignment whoever the leader of your particular um oh what are they called whatever group or chapter you’re a part of or trying to be in they’re going to have secret meetups secret meetings they’re going to put you um through secret tasks to prove your worth before
Pledging you fully into the organization so i was going on these secret meetings we were meeting at different places and at first it turned into us going to educational places i think we went to a museum and studied black history that was cool you know
And then we the more meetups we had we had a dinner then we had to recite um the greek organization’s uh anthem or whatever it was stupid [ __ ] then it came a time they said okay you’ve passed all these tests now what we’re going to do is your um
You’re you we’re gonna have a sleepover and i at the time it was me and i had one lying sister i had another woman grown woman we’re both in our 40s she has three kids i have a daughter we’re adult women with careers and children and all that
Me and her online together so they said we’re gonna do a sleepover we’re gonna have a pajama party and this is gonna be the final test before initiation i’m like cool this sounds cool so far so good you know before the sleepover um one of the things that the president
Of the chapter we all were sitting and eating dinner one day and she said you know tell we we want to know what you’re what your your greatest uh fears are because you’re safe with us this is we are your new family this is your sisterhood what are your fears
And and i can share this with you guys now because i’m very transparent i have nothing to hide i told them about my narcissistic mother i’ve been abused into the ground molested everything and i don’t trust anybody that was one of the reasons why i signed up to join
This non-greek organization to find sisterhood and family because my blood relatives failed me miserably and the president said well you can trust us we’re your sisters we’re never going to hurt you she went on this blah blah blah cool so here comes the pajama the sleepover me and my line sister
Are are you know we’re in our pajamas everyone set up sleeping bags and we’re all the president the president of the chapter and all the the lying sisters who are all older women by the way we’re all in this one room and i i i closed my eyes because i’m tired me
And my line sister we dozing off here go to president wake up tell me this tell me that tell me this tell me that what are you doing what are you doing what are you doing what are you doing she was deliberately asking us questions to keep us awake
I e sleep [ __ ] deprivation sleep deprivation she was psychologically hazing us no she did not put her hands on me or my line sister but she was what she was doing was beyond triggering to me because as a little girl there were times when i was a little girl my abusive
Narcissistic mother would wake me out wake me up out my sleep i was 12 years old me and my siblings my mother would wake us up she was high on cocaine and drunk wake us up at three in the morning me my brother and sister she got us in the basement scrubbing and
Cleaning the [ __ ] basement three small children i’m twelve my brother’s eleven my sister’s eight why do you have three young children cleaning the [ __ ] basement up three o’clock in the morning you woke us up she used to beat us about out beat us out of our sleep
So that’s why guys y’all know i made a video i made a separate video all about sleep deprivation this is one of the tactics that a narcissist uses to punish and torture his or her victims these people love to deprive you of sleep because if you’re deprived of sleep then you’re weakened
You have no energy to function the next day after they deliberately drain you because if you’re weak they they know you’re tired they know you need rest and they can control you better it’s sick and it’s [ __ ] sadistic my mother did it all the time when i was a little girl
So now i’m a grown woman and we’re at this pajama part not a pajama sleepover and i got a [ __ ] grown-ass old ass [ __ ] the same age as my mother playing these psychological psychological games and she is hazing me and my line sister because she is drilling us with questions to prevent us
From falling asleep after we had a long tiring day the next day i was so triggered i was so disgusted i had a break i had a nervous breakdown i had a nervous breakdown right there at the meeting i started shaking i started um hyperventilating i was crying profusely i was flustered i
Turned red i was i was sick to my stomach and i was like i want to get out of here i don’t want to be here with any of y’all and they calmed me down they said please please just stay just stick around for a little while
You’re we’re about to pass you we’re going to initiate you into the to the organization just stay and i stood there they they initiated me but i was i had tears down my eyes and i said i don’t want to do this dear god the next day after i wrote a very long
Page letter to the president of the entire organization denouncing my membership i said if this is what you call [ __ ] sisterhood i don’t want no parts of it oh we don’t want to let you go we can transfer you to another chapter we’re so sorry no if you have these types of people
Within your organization it is representative of you as a whole so i say all this to say you guys there is abuse of a power uh in these fraternities and sororities greek and non-greek because we got cowards hiding behind their titles they might be president of the chapter
They might be on the [ __ ] they might be treasurer secretary line leader whatever position they hold in these fracts and these sororities they’re hiding behind these titles to abuse the newcomers be a [ __ ] leader because these weak people gotta join an organization to feel validated and this
Is not to throw shade to anyone that that’s an empath and you’re already a part of this type of organization i’m just saying y’all know i’m telling the truth a lot of narcissists abuse people and they do it in these fraternities and sororities people have died pledging to a frat in a sorority
