Valley University here’s the string of mug shots Fort Valley was under investigation by the GBI for employee misconduct involving students according to Rowland out magazine a GPI investigation was launched when it was revealed that a group of students were desperate to pay pledge fees to join Alpha Kappa Alpha
Sorority and which it resorted into prostitution it is alleged that some of the customers were even local politicians and businessmen ok so elysia Johnson is the face that you will see everywhere you don’t necessarily see the six men you will always see her because she is supposed to be the center of the
Investigation she was also a university employee and the graduate advisor to Fort Valley aka chapter she had been employed at the school since 2004 Alesia Johnson was an executive assistant in a special events department and a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha we learned today she resigned April 18th
That’s the same day 11alive broke the news of a GBI investigation into sexual misconduct on campus campus rather alpha-beta fort follies chapter of the aka sorority has had their privileges withdrawn at the school until this investigation is complete aka officials didn’t respond to the reports they did decide to launch their own investigation
As well as cooperate with the investigation on campus good morning Sheba right now at least one for Valley State employee is on administrative leave and the GBI is bringing in extra agents from across the state to help them figure out what’s going on in mist these allegations of sexual misconduct
Regarding the eight KS on campus in a statement to 11alive the organization said it was appalled by the allegations saying it had a zero-tolerance policy for hazing members sexual misconduct and harassment and they’re taking this all seriously they’ve launched their own investigation into what happened as well and say they’re cooperating with the

Choosing not to identify her but when we searched her name we found it listed on the Fort Valley State website in a directory of faculty and staff after our sister station in Atlanta asked school administrators about the woman her name disappeared from the online directory school spokespeople said the woman does
Not work at the school and has been removed from the directory but didn’t answer us when we asked how she ended up on the directory in the first place or explain if the woman was a student or former employee since the incident the university did go and move forward and

Like this about black Greek letter organizations I don’t like to hear stuff about Delta just as much as I don’t want to hear anything about aks cues Kappas alpha or whoever at the end of the day these people do need to be held accountable for what they’ve done it’s
Imperative that this is highlighted people need to know that this is not right and you should not have to go through anything like this this is very sad this is very disgusting and disturbing and I hope that justice will be served this is not the principal said
They were founded upon and I have been very disappointed in the last couple of years about some of the things that I have read that are going on on these campuses we’re supposed to be pillars of the community yet stories like this exist I don’t think this situation
Represents the organization as a whole it will always be one bad apple out of the bunch but if we are supposed to be the change in advocates for other black and brown people especially young girls please be the change because this is completely unacceptable I’m tired of seeing headlines about hazing death
Suicide and bravery as well like I’m done with it and this goes for black and white organizations of course black organizations are always at the for forum but there are business organizations letting on the organization’s bin an athletic organization that do the same thing especially varsity athletic
Teams they are the highlight of this so please don’t think this is just a sorority and frightening especially if you have students and you have kids that attend universities things like this are happening with everyone on campus and it’s completely unacceptable and I just I couldn’t rest tonight with
Reading everything because it’s just sad it’s very very sad that people are using these girls they’re using their vulnerability and a lot of people don’t have that you know strength within to just say no and I’m just I’m speechless because they use these people they use their weaknesses and they just prey on
