To God dealing with this question what does the Bible say about organizations such as Freemasonry fraternities and sorties if the truth be told there is no specific specific scripture that says Freemasonry there’s no specific scripture that says fraternity or sorority so there’s no scripture that
Says that but what we can do is pull some principles of course out of the Bible all right right so the question is as Believers yes if we’re going to join anything how do we how do we tell what is of God cuz that’s the question asked
Is it of God is these organizations of God or is it of the devil right so how do we determine if something is of God and if something is of the devil that’s the question we have to ask whenever we dealing with anything we have to ask is
This thing is of God if a person come into our life is this person is of God is this person of devil if I join an organization is this organization of God or is it of the devil how do I know I believe God given us two ways there’s
Two ways there’s two ways to determine whether someone or something or some organization is of God or not of God there’s two ways two ways we going to look at the both both of the two ways tonight the first way is found in Matthew yes chapter 7 we’re going to
Look at verse 15-6 let’s read from the King James version First I want to give that uh version some play tonight Matthew chapter 7 ver 15 and 16 let’s put that on the screen look what it says beware of false prophets which come to you and sheep’s clothing but inwardly
They are ravening Ru wolves you shall know them by their fruit say that again you shall know them by their fruits that’s good do people pick grapes from Thorn bushes or from fig figs of ftles Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheath Clum that’s the King James version I

Way the second one is by the word of God the word of God tells us if this certain organization if this certain person is of god it tells us through the scripture if it lines up with scripture it’s of God if it does not line up with
Scripture is not of God so I need y’all to catch that there’s two ways in which you discern with whether something or someone a person place or thing is from God or from the enemy you know it by its fruit yes what it produces yes by his Doctrine everything by his fruit and
Then we know it by sifting it yes and sifting them through the word of God word god powerful the word of God is our sifting agent if there’s any question if something something is of God and not of God we have to get through the word we
Have to sift it through the word absolutely any Doctrine you hear from the pull pit or outside of the pull pit it has to be filtered and sifted through the word of God I got to make sure that it lines up with the word of God I don’t

An offshoot of the regular Scottish right uh Freemasonry that was in England came over to America and of course because of slavery blacks could not join the Freemasonry like they want absolutely so they branched off got permission to start their own free organization founded by Prince Hall he
Was the first one to do it so that’s what we’re talking about when we dealing with Freemasonry and we’re dealing with um the Eastern Stars so now let’s get into fraternities and sororities when we talk about fraternity sororities uh fraternity uh that’s a Fraternal Order which is men sororities we talking about
Sisterhood we talking about the collection of women uh so when we talk about sororities and fraternities what are we honing in on on this teaching tonight because there’s many of fraternities that stretch all across the nation at different colleges and all that but what we’re talking specifically about tonight

Kappa Alpha Delta Sigma Theta we talking about Kappa Alpha SI Omega SciFi fi Beta Sigma yes Zeta 5 Beta Sigma gamma row we talking about these the divine nine these are the ones that uh the majority of of you know blacks now it’s it’s exclusively black black however they a
Lot of the Greek organizations say we do allow whites just whites don’t want to enjoy I think there’s maybe spatters and few droplets droplets and white just like our HBCU they’re they’re open to everybody but it’s it’s predominantly black black ab and these organizations are open in
Different races from what I studied um but it’s predominantly black so these are predominantly black organizations um and um that those are the Divine 9s what we going to talk about yes we’re talking about the glob we’re talking about Greek letter organizations yes uh we talking about those tonight when we talk about
Sororities and fraternities yes now the thing that melts them together okay the thing that brings Freemasonry what brings the the the Greek letter organizations the Divine n together is uh a word called secrecy yes yes we talk about secrecy yes um when we talk about these organ there’s some there’s some
Level of secrecy to these organizations absolutely specifically Freemasonry specifically them there’s a lot of secrets that goes on um in these and when we talk about and and that’s why a lot of them have labeled uh the Greek letter organizations and they and sorties they name them secret societ
Secret society all right and I I know there are some that are in these um black Greek letter organizations um that says no we not a secret society but because of certain things that in there yes a lot of people label them under the secret society okay so let’s define secret society real
Quick let’s put that on the screen for them so they can see it a secret society and what it is yes see a secret society is an organization about which the activities events inner functioning or membership are concealed there’s also an initiation process needed to become a member of the
Organization let me say that again there’s also an initiation process needed to become a member of the organization the society may or may not attempt to conceal its existence yes so that’s what the definition of secret society is and this is why because of that definition of secret society this
Is why some people put the black Greek letter organizations theat the the fraternities and the sororities into a secret society that’s why they say okay they have to be a secret society just based on this definition alone okay so so I hoping y’all get this y’all still

Go right to the community that need it and do it I commend them for that and there freem organizations the Prince Hall organizations that do the same thing do food drives and all that so there’s community service going on but not only community service they got social justice with powerful powerful social
Justice powerful matter of fact uh the Civil Rights Movement oh my good had so many oh my goodness Greek letter organization members you know Dr King was one yes Jesse Jackson josea will I could go I could go list by list Name by name in the civil rights movement and we we have

Back 100 and I that’s I love about these sororities and these fraternities the Brotherhood yes The Sisterhood yes is unmatched unmatched it’s unmatched then we have character building that they go they always um they promote education yes I mean you can’t really be a part of any of these organizations if you want
To have a level of Education yes there has to be a level of Education that you have you got to be affluent in your in your in in your studies and and they they push that they drive that so they build character you B your morals I
Think some of the freem especially the prince all Freemason they’re they part part of their Creed is to build young men is what they say yes to build young men into better young men absolutely so there there’s a drive for character building in the freem and even in these organizations these Greek letter
Organizations they have a drive to build character to be strong men and women yes right and uh last but not least is networking all these different connections man yes just because you’re a part of this organization there certain things you can do there’s certain jobs you can get they always

You’re a part of these organizations and any organization we have to look at not just the good we can’t just focus on the good absolutely we just can’t we have to focus on and and every and I know we do this naturally we’ll look at the pros and
Cons of everything before we make a decision we should look at the pros and cons so let’s look at the pros the pros we just listed for you wonderful Pros awesome awesome but let’s look at the red flags let’s look at some of what we call the Red Flags the bad fruit the

Define idolatry I’m not going to put it on the screen the definition of idolatry according to Webster dictionary is the worship of Idols or excessive Devotion to or reverence for some person some place or something an idol is anything that replaces the one true God the most prevalent form of
Idolatry in the Bible times was the worship of images that were thought to embody the various Pagan deities wow so there is a level of idolatry that we see and I’m going to deal with Freemasonry if we look at that and examine some of their rights and some of
Their rituals we see that there’s some idolatry going on matter of fact um Freemasonry in it in of itself uh when I looked at the tenants and the beliefs and the core of it it’s it’s religious it’s religious some will say it’s a religious organization let me

Not bow down to them nor serve them that’s powerful that’s what the Bible says that’s what the Bible says says put no God before me I don’t even want to be in the same place as another God another Idol and there’s some things that people worship I mean we we just people that’s
What that word idolatry mean not just just different trinkets people can idolize different things people plac and things could be idolized in your life absolutely you could lift that up before God and the Bible speaks against that I want to look at um Exodus Chap
34:14 and we going to look at it from the Amplified version Watch what it says for you shall not worship any other God for the Lord whose name is jealous is a jealous and passion God demanding what is rightfully and unequally his what is his how dare you give
Worship to something other than the true and the Living God there’s only one God and there’s only one way to God and that’s who Jesus Christ and that’s through Jesus Christ so any other thing any other entity that says there is multiple ways to God we can accept all
Religions because they all lead to God that is idolatry I know a lot of people don’t want to hear this but that’s Bible there’s only one way to God that is through Jesus Christ there’s no place no no other way to him because there there are some things that I see at some
Messianic funerals yes where they say that he’s in that great lodge in heaven like the only way he got to Heaven because he was a Mason yes no Mason don’t get you to heaven Jesus get you to heaven Jesus is the only way to the father no man could come to the

That and we’re going to get to this in a minute but um there’s a lot of brothers and sisters who who are in there in these Greek organizations and they they make certain rituals to these different gods and goddesses absolutely all right you be very careful if you’re part of
These things that you’re not making these different different rituals and uh we’re going to get to that in a minute into these false gods cuz that’s what they are I’m sorry they false gods false gods false gods all those gods and goddesses you see there they are false
Gods and if your organization is pushing you to fall down or Bow Down any of the Goddess godes go before an altar that’s not an altar of God that is not an altar of the presence of God is an alar to something yes and I know some of them
Are blind to the fact that that’s actual sign of worship when they have you bow down on a pillow before what looks like a table but it’s actually an altar ladies and gentlemen it’s an altar so we gotta be very careful when participating in any of those activities
Rituals in some of the Greek uh fraternities and sororities to make sure that we’re not bowing down yes to any of these gods and goddesses you know what I mean so we got to be very careful with that that’s idolatry so the first thing we have to look at that’s a red flag
That’s a red flag automatic red flag if they come in there any other God besides the god of the Bible the god of the scripture the god of Abraham Isaac and Jacob yeah you’re worshiping in idolatry so if you go into a Greek fraternity Greek we just going to give glory to
Atlas whoes us all we going yeah we going we going we going to call out Apollos paollo to come down and help us and St leave immediately absolutely there’s only one God there’s only one God there’s only one God there’s only one God and that’s clear in the Bible so
Idolatry is one of them idolatry what’s the next thing that we see Courtney that is bad fruit in a lot of these organizations the next one is syncretism syncretism a lot of y’all don’t know what that word means um do we have the uh we have that up there let’s put that
Look at it secre ISM let’s look at the definition of secre ism syncretism is a union or a tempted Fusion of different religions cultures or philosophies we was just talking about that earlier when we were talking about idolatry the fusion of different beliefs and different uh uh faith base just fusing

Temple of the Living God as God has said y’all see that ladies and gentlemen be not unequally y do not be unequally Yol y’all see that and the reason why I brought that text up because when we join these organizations we are yoking together through a vow through an oath we’re
Yoking together with people that believe differently than what we believe they don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the way the truth and the life so now you’re yolked up with people that’s unequally yolked y’all see that every time you join an organization that lift up Idols false gods false
Ideas things that are contrary to the word of God you are unequally yolked with those individuals or with that organization you are a child of the most high God you have the Holy Spirit dwelling on the inside of you and to be yolked with people that worship false
Gods is to be unequally yolked this is what Paul warned us about in this text it not only has to do with marriage but it also has to do with business whatever organization you part of make sure y’all are equally yolked not unequally yolked that’s right that’s
Right and it’s the the problem I see a lot of times is um like we said we admire the devotion the Loyalty that the different organizations have for one another yes I just wish that we could see that in the church because there’s some people not all but there’s some
People that that are part of these different organizations and they Lo loyal to these organizations and faithful to the individuals as a part of the organization but they don’t share that same passion that same fervor for the people in their church that’s facts
Now do we see I I I I’ve yet to see it two Christians you a Christian they see each other and they just hugging anding y get over you wear that cross around your neck get over here woo girl we don’t we don’t see that
Yes I would love to see it see the body of Christ operate with that same type of love yes but we see it in these different organizations freem mry eastn star we see it in our Greek definitely in the Greek organizations yes so there’s a level of syncretism let’s move
On to the next one we running out of time I don’t want to spend all night on this but the next red flag the bad fruit is hazing and branding hazing and branding let me say that again hazing FL flag with each organization that we just
Listed and said we talked about there is an initiation process all of them have it all of them have a hazing it’s called the initiation process the the the Freemasons have it the Greek letter organizations Divine n they have it they have hazing now they’ve come to a point

Face that’s it and thunder was punches to your chest chest yep right so one of the young men that was going through the process got lightning and thunder but he got punched in the chest so hard his heart stopped and he end up dying is that of
God is that of God now the they have since progressed from that corner absolutely but a lot of them still practice not physical yes hazing but a lot of is now mental hazing and it’s you it’s very Dental that they continue hazing the reason why is because they
Have this this method of breaking you down to build you up to build you I’ve seen that that’s one of the things that they have said on many of the websites uh is there’s a breaking down to that’s what the whole purpose of Hazen is is to
Break you down and then they build you up this organization these organizations these fraternities and authorities break you down MH they said it’s a humbling that comes forth they break you down yes these organizations break you down they break you down and then they have the power to
Build you up to build you up I got an issue with that that’s a red flag to me that’s a red flag hazing is a red flag to me you don’t got the power to break me down and then build me back up that’s right only God has that ability only God
Has that power and even God himself don’t break you down how many of us had to be beaten down in order to become a Christian in order to join to cross over to cross over to these fraternities and sororities they have to break you down and then Build You Up yep but
Christianity look how you do in Christianity there’s no breaking down process to cross over you know why because Jesus Took the break down took the break down he took the beat down he don’t have to take down he took it he took the hazing he took the Haz so we
Wouldn’t have to go through the hazing he got whipped he got beat he took the lightning in the Thunder he took the lightning thunder he was broken it said his body was broken bruised he was broken so we wouldn’t have to be broken so now all we got to do is take

So we got to be very careful on The Hazing process and then we talk about The Branding courtne yes The Branding where they they dip something a steak with the with the logo the emblem of that fraternity or sority they they they put it or that that Freemason they put
The Freemason memm on some people and they they they put that steak in that hotness and then they they they burn you yes right you know some of my favorite like I I saw that on the arm of Michael Jordan right and I was talking about

Whole world know that we belong to God I don’t need somebody branding me I don’t need nobody putting the fire in some coal or whatever and putting it on my skin I’ve already been marked by the Holy Spirit I belong to God that is my affiliation
So even if I do get lost and I Stumble away from the things of God I can always be identified that’s a child of God right there and he’ll bring me back he’ll pull me back because he had marked me by the Holy Spirit I don’t need no
Marking I don’t need no branding that’s right that’s right so that that’s another red flag The Hazing and The Branding we’re gonna get to our final red flag of tonight final uh I call it bad fruit is oos let’s put that there there’s certain o certain pledges certain vows that’s being made
In the midst of these organizations and you can’t cross over unless you make these unless you make these Oaths these vows these vows y um and I’m going to read to you some of the vows made and Freemasonry some me and some sororities and and fraternities like we firmly resolve ourselves to a
Lifetime of service to The Sisterhood or the fraternity right that’s one of them I didn’t put no fraternity name on there because there’s a lot of them that say it I will never reveal anything about our rituals ceremonies or secrets that’s another oath they make yes uh another one in certain fraternities and
Sororities I can’t believe they say this to our Founders we bow my God we take an oath to bow to our Founders I my God here it is I pledge my undying loyalty to the said organization that could be Freemasonry that could be uh that could be to one of the Greek letter
Organizations I pledge my loyalty yes to that Sisterhood to that Brotherhood here another one I will always support the sister Sisterhood the fraternity no matter what no matter what no matter what that’s a oath that’s a oath that’s a vow yeah here’s another one I will obey that Sisterhood that
Fraternity all the rules without question without question another one I will always put The Sisterhood or the fraternity first my God these are oath that’s being made these are ples that they are making so the question is what does the Bible say about making such Oaths and

Peace I give to and I’m not going to say the name and I said wow all of it and I know a lot of people saying well that’s just you know say just something we say that’s something we do as a sorority we don’t mean

Judge you based upon those words that you spoke those Oaths that you took those vows that you have made those pledges that you have put forth yes you will be judged by every Idol word so those are Oaths and pledges those are the red flags that we have to
Look at and we have to evaluate yes when you join any organization any organization those are the things you got to look at and those are the red flags that we saw and there’s probably some more that we could pointed out we just didn’t have the time tonight to

Higher you get in these organizations the more you are exposed to and then because as a secret society there’s certain things that you’re not privy to know until you advance in these different organizations right God is not about about secrecy no he’s never been a god about secrecy he does everything in
The light he says whatever is done in the dark has to come into the light absolutely so he’s not a god about secrecy everything must be done in the open he wants us to be able to be like that and all our fellowship and everything that we do because we have to
Be the lightbearers of the world absolutely we are called to bring light to this world and the only way you be light to the world has got to be open you got to be seen yep that’s right so I’mma leave you with this because it comes down to and we just put the

People that I love dearly that’s part of these Greek letter organizations I loveful people with beautiful hearts Beautiful Mind love God people yes but I just want everyone to listen tonight to be aware of certain things that maybe if God is pulling you out of these organizations because of the red flags
That we showed tonight you have to come out I know there’s some may be some soul ties absolutely that you may experience but if any of these organizations are promoting some of these red flags that we say that’s not an organization that God will have you be a part of

The scripture 1 Corinthians I got that 1 Corinthians chap 10:31 y’all see that whether you eat or drink or whatever you do so whatever whether you eat or drink or whatever you do do everything to the glory of God so in other words if I’m a if I’m a part of this if
I’m a part of this organization is God getting the glory out of it does this bring God glory yes is this organization lifting up God is this organization given my God the true and living God not those other gods false gods right is giv my God the glory that’s how I judge
Everything in life I look at everything and say is this giving God the glory I’m not going to join I’m not going to be a part of that and there has been some organizations that wanted to partner with the truth Church M they said well
We you know we don’t have to talk about Jesus we could just I mean this Islamic brother came to me and said we don’t have to talk about Jesus we could just meet in your church and just talk about Black Liberation and I said we can’t if
We not talking about Jesus we ain’t talking about nothing and that’s with any organization if we can’t discuss and talk about the true and living God I can’t do nothing with you that’s why I could never be a part of these organizations because I have to stand for Jesus wholeheartedly
Yes he has my heart he has my joy he has my my my everything belongs to him I ain’t got time to give it to any of these organizations cuz it’s all belongs to him he’s already I’ve already been branded I’ve already crossed over from Death to life I’ve already done all that
There’s no need to join the fraternity for me on my behalf there’s no need to join the fraternity on my behalf because I’m in the Kingdom the greatest the greatest organization organization in this world so we just wanted to bring this to your attention look at every
Organization judge the bad fruit and the good fruit because we got to be aware that the enemy always sets up reciprocal very sneaky very sneaky and he steps up reciprocals whatever God puts in place he try to bring up the opposite God put Faith he put fear God puts love he puts
Hate God puts the church the enemy sets up organizations to replace the church absolutely the Brotherhood The Sisterhood should first and foremost come from your affiliation with God’s house absolutely first and foremost before I’m a aka before I’m a cute dog I am a believer I’m a Believer in Christ that
