Trading for AJ Brown now it’s time to bring Kevin Bard the two-time All Pro safety home to Philadelphia I know that stirs emotions within you yes Kevin byard a Philadelphia native he moved when he was 14 but on his Titans bio he lists his favorite food as cheese steak
His favorite athlete as a kid as alen Iverson so Kindred Spirits in in that regard but from a football perspective here I think you guys look alike too yeah a two-time All Pro at a major position of need here compensation seems reasonable fifth round pick sixth round
Pick Terrell Edmonds this is a major move we’ve been talking about how the Eagles needed to of safety we’ve been talking about the veteran options they could go after I wasn’t sure if the Titans would be sellers or not the fact that they sold this is you know Ryan
Tanah Hill is their quarterback even though Ryan tanah Hill is their quarterback it’s a new GM it’s it’s a new he does push his chips in he’s got time no but they did some things with byer’s contract before the season so I was thinking Kevin byard or Justin
Simmons were kind of the the big veteran options they could go after he’s 30 years old the cap obligation here you have the pro-rated version of or the pro-rated portion of the 4 million dollar left on his contract and then they have to figure out what happens thereafter next year looks like
It’s about 14 million is the team option for next year they have to make a decision by mid-march right after the flip over to the league year you figure that well they’ll see how this goes but but this is a move made because the Eagles are six- one Bonafide Super Bowl
Contenders and they had questions going into the summer into the season about safety they have even more questions now they played last night with with without both their starting safeties and here they are acquiring a two-time allpro who has ball Hawking ability who has versatility who this is a move that
Makes a lot of sense and again we we’ve seen how he make splashes you and I did a podcast after the Robert Quinn trade last year and we acknowledge that you can’t just just judge it based on the name and the resume it’s about the performance you’re getting for the rest
