Wasn’t stressed but you know um as I as it can attest we we you know we’ve had some uh some projects going on in the office and uh you know major stuff you know and and you have deadline so you just you know what I mean you want to
Make sure all your eyes dotted all your tees crossed so so to be done with it is is a good feeling oh y’all had that type of stress yeah I don’t miss that at all listen I was in Vegas man I see so I guess I guess our Dream didn’t really
Come true can we say that again I I see that you’re still working you know what I’m saying dream our Dream didn’t come true if you you know what I’m saying the $20 I put on on red for you the $50 I put on

Know what’s so crazy you know what’s so crazy about that I thought about it as well because you know it’s it’s been 18 years since the last time East W uh sex five title and uh your brother right your brother and your cousin right when
They on that team yeah yeah um so you know I mean my my little brother your little brother yeah yeah my youngest brother Ali he was he was on the team man shout out to to another he watches the show man Justin Walker jaywalk um he he was on that Squad man
Um my brother my brother wace was on those Sidelines man coaching and and now on the sidelines coach is one of the other key players who was a captain on that Squad AGR uh player um I think he got defensive MVP of the sectionals that
Year he’s now um on the uh I think he’s the OC for for uh East High Brent McGill shout out to that brother you know I mean so again a whole you figure he graduates and then in the the amount of time it takes for somebody who was
Born a year that they you know I mean they graduated um and they they wanted to get back you know what I mean so you know I thought that you know that was a dope full circle moment um I got blood on the sidelines not man uh shout out to
To deari and Jakari the twins man you know congrats man so so many young man I know I know a lot of those young men yo to my boy Kenny Jackson my brother man from Edison man matter of fact we with Douglas together too so shout out to
Kenny Jackson his his oldest son uh uh no not not his oldest son I’m sor sorry um he’s got two sons in the team but zir qb1 um had a phenomenal oh that’s his son that’s zir Jackson uh and uh and his younger son uh Kendrick is on that team too
Um uh um coach ah man coach Larry Morales his son is on that um his son Anthony is on that team 22 so if if you don’t if you know coach Morales and his so his son wears 22 because his older brother was um was was murdered at the
Age of 22 so so their thing is forever 22 so shout out to to that you know what I’m saying to coach Morales his family and his son you know what I mean for honoring his brother and uh them being a part of that wining that section five
Title so man so many man Eddie I know because I’m around section five the way I am I know a lot of those young men and uh proud of those young men um in the job they did at East High man congrats man pass off to you you you know who
Else you know who else we got to congratulate man I want to give a special shout out to my brother Dr Shawn NS for going into that high school man and doing something beautiful in that school man just academically also with sports making sure that they have all
The resources that they need I know he’s he’s G on now in the University world doing big things but want to shout him out doofy a c shout out to dof and all the stuff that she’s doing out that way Stephanie um out that way you know what
I’m saying so yo crazy enough um my mom is teaching there this year um at East so man sh to everybody is dof at East yeah she at East at East sh do man yeah absolutely matter of fact I want to shout out I want to shout out the athletic director
Man e man yo Big E so Big E was the modified coach when uh when my brother’s team last won the uh sectional title e is now the athletic director e is now the athletic director and one of the things that he he ushered in was you
Know if if you if you notice like some of the some of the top competitive uh college teams you know one of their one of the ways that they really kind of draw and interest in that Talent getting that talent in there um is they have a lot of the different uniform
Combinations the different helmets and all that and so Big E you know East man heast got like a bunch of different helmet colors bunch of different home and away jerseys and uniform combinations that they’re able to put together so you know shout out to to Big
E you know what I mean uh for really for really making the program something that the kids can really get excited about you know playing playing in uh you know what I mean so so hats off to him to everybody yeah man I just want to
Say man I mean for the city teams man to have uh because we’re gonna get into the next team in a minute but like the city teams man that have those uh you know for combinations man to me that says a lot about the program and the investment
And even like having different helmets you know what I’m saying like I was like wow you know man that that shows an investment man into our students man and I know there’s a lot that has that has gone on you know at the high school level man but there something special
About like fall Sports especially um you know football you got soccer and these other sports man but you know students look forward to this they look forward to going to the football game on a Friday night man like that that does a lot man um and then when you got a team
That teams that are winning man it just it changes the uh the fabric of the school you know what I’m saying like it’s crazy so want to get in the want to get in the Monroe High School man which is the which is the other hold on before
I get to Monroe hey we definitely got to give a shout out to um frat that’s holding it down uh leading you prep um Walter Larin cam Lewis and everybody out there man I know they didn’t get the the win that they were looking for uh this
Past weekend man but shout out to them man for putting on such a great program uh and be I mean not just being a charter school man but just being but the fact that they have invested a lot into those young men um in the program that they have there absolutely and uh
And you know again that said I take nothing away from that but um I got I got blood on yo listen it was a win all the way around uh this this football weekend for me um my nephew my my you got like 100
Cousins though no lie no no no no no no my my my uh my little sister my little sister her son my nephew my nephew starts cornerback and receiver from McQuade so uh he um he he he that’s what’s up yeah so so I went that too man McQuade yeah that’s my
That’s my cousin as well that’s my cousin um you know listen they doing their thing um he’s doing a wonderful thing with that program man yeah they won they won a fifth straight sectional uh sectional Championship uh but again my nephew man I’m proud of this little dude
He was the only freshman on the varsity team last year and I believe he’s the only sophomore on this on the squad this year and he starts he’s in a starting role um yeah and he’s he’s an impact player so you know shout out to man
Young Xavier Cox number 13 man they CAU him little little Hive hito yeah shout out to that young man that young yo that young Lion Man watch him play man I watched them play man that that team got speed I watched him play I was like wow yeah yeah
Sure all right man so yeah so shout out to you prepping McQuade um for sure um and then yo we got Maro man who uh hasn’t been scored on since when it’s been a while it’s been about it’s been maybe a month or so it’s been
Maybe a month or so since they’ve been scored on so that team dominant that team is dominant um yeah you don’t you only see a team like that man every yeah yeah it’s rare to dominate to dominate the class the way they have uh this year
Um so again you know man much respect to uh coach Terrell Cunningham G hop man Bruce blue who I played with in high school you know I mean um ghop who I played with in high school went to high school with you know what I’m saying like yo these these brothers are are
Doing an awesome and amazing job you know what I mean with with these we can’t forget our frat brother oh yeah dub man come on you already know Mar Morris yo shout out to you know what I mean and to me what’s what’s what’s dope about uh dub being on the sideline and
Uh shout out to to to Jason Muhammad if anybody knows coach Muhammad he’s been at this a long time he was the head coach at from Marshal days but uh you know those those brothers are high high high ranking administrators in that building so for them to be as invested it shows
That it’s not just you know the whole school is is you know uh galvanized around these young these young men in the job that they’re doing and the work and efforts they’re putting into to um doing something special yeah got you I oh okay hey so let’s get let’s let’s
Let’s get into this so now because we we ended with Maro for a reason man so what happened man at the end of the game because I can’t understand how somebody that scored no points became the uh the offens of MVP am I am I hearing that right yeah yeah
So so uh in what world does that does that happen yeah we no points man like I don’t it was it was wild um you know again the game the game was it was it was close for what a a a Monro game is you know what I mean in terms of this
The final score was was 26 nothing um but again if you’ve been following monoe that that’s a close game you know what I mean for close game for them yeah yeah you know what I mean uh but it you know and and the real the unfortunate reality
Is and that and again you know the truth is the truth they they were uh hfl and again I’m not saying they you know they didn’t earn their way to that game but in game I saw a lot of help from from from hats and Stripes you know what I
Mean um interceptions call back turnovers that you just you know um and and again you know kids kids play their hearts out I’m not taking them anything away from kids playing their hearts out but you know uh there was a the Monroe team those are kids too who were playing
Their hearts out and and and the game should be able to be decided on the field just remind me of Victor and Marshall back in 2000 oh yeah yeah I mean you you just the reality is you just you know you see it you know what I
Mean um so game is over Monroe Monroe wins and they’re now giving out the the awards uh from the from the from the sectional championship game and uh they get ready to announce the offensive MVP and the award goes to the hfl quarterback and and again correct me if
I’m wrong but my understanding of offense in any sport is the objective is to score points no points scored by your by by your offense how are you name the game offensive MVP yo what did the crowd do when they heard that I know because I
Was at the game I know they had to be like in distraught like wait a minute oh we were loud it was it was it was it was audible it was Audible there was an audible reaction from the crowd because again you know it wasn’t it wasn’t to
Disparage his efforts but it was the it was it was clearly un unjustify it was an unjustifiable uh awarding awarding of that performance I mean so so who makes who makes that decision right who who gives out the can y’ hear me man I lost you yeah we we can hear
You um that that would that would come from section five I mean you know the decision the decision those that that’s a section five call yeah so when does section five whoever section five is or whoever’s making up section five when do they make that determination um like at the game like
Or do they do that before the game starts no that’s at that’s at the game that the MVP award is for that game right so I’m asking like who who is it like who are the the individuals that make that decision um I I I could go online I
Could definitely I could definitely uh uh find those names for you I could definitely yeah and and the names are irrelevant to me right you know well but the the individuals that make that decision may be may be relevant right if these are all individuals that are part
Of section five that are representing Suburban schools then I think it makes complete sense why why that decision was made or you know why was made to give him um it kind of takes me back to the conversation that we were having previously about football and Pop Warner and you know and
Um you know how you know we push that young people play this game to like learn discipline and all these other things too right um and and I was joking about you know everybody should get a trophy right everybody should get an award right we were having that
Conversation maybe that’s how they felt at the time right even at this level right everybody should get some type of Accolade why not byow well well the reason why is again I if if we’re talking about if we’re talking about you know just giving everybody an award we let’s okay let you
Get a participation trophy you don’t get offensive MVP when your team didn’t score a point and did he get did did he get inside you know um the other team’s 50 yard line every single Drive did he have some amazing plays listen I’m I’m just trying to justify
Help help people see how this um might have been a a decision that maybe you didn’t see it but somebody from that has a section five eye might have saw it I don’t know let me say this if he had if he had thrown for 500 yards and they
Still scored no points you are not the offensive MVP because because it’s you know in in in the Sports World there’s this phrase called empty calories right you if you put up all those yards and you and it amounts to no points then then it it don’t nothing man I it doesn’t
Mean nothing to to the outcome of the game but it doesn’t it most valuable player is an individual award though right so that’s basically what you did what they did in that game right so if he put up 500 yards and the other team’s quarterback or you know receivers or
Running back only put up 250 he that’s the most valuable player type stats right there no no value is value determines or or impacts outcome you can’t you can’t relegate or you can’t measure value with you know without kind of assessing the impact or or the value
It’s the value to your team right not necessarily the value to not necessarily value to the outcome right that I guess that’s what I’m looking at it as so the so scor points it amounted it amounted to no points what value was that to his team listen I don’t know obviously the people
From section five thought this dude had a lot of value to his team right and and and again y’ y’all know me like yeah there we go Chelsea y’all know me I’m playing Devil’s Advocate right but again I think I think it warrants this type of conversation right because if you just
Come in and say I think that this other person should have it because their team won and there’s like no meat and bones behind it then it is what it is like they could have had they could have had participation from every member of their team right like the running back could
Have put up 200 yards 250 yards um receiver could have got 250 yards quarterback could have been over 250 yards to that Receiver right like which one of those which one of those four players are the most valuable player the one whose team won according to who not section five
And whoever these people are but again so so so to so let’s let’s play or let’s entertain your point right so if we go if we entertain that point about not to section five then to me what it is an indication of is the institutional racism that is prevalent in in in youth
Athletics I mean there was so uh ah man and I’m I’m mad his name escaped me but um a lot of his family was at the game but uh young man number four he had an interception that that like the game was already like out of
You know it was I think it was um 20 to nothing at that point so the game was already out of reach in the it was fourth quarter game’s out you know not not enough time you know and I don’t want to say not enough time because
We’ve seen wild things happen in sports but the game was 20 to nothing this young brother makes a break on the ball picks it off and I mean it is it’s clean he he’s facing he’s facing our sideline so you can you can see him and
There’s a referee on on our sideline and uh the the referee on the opposing sideline he callused the interception he he’s pointing other way and then and then and then somehow it gets overturned as if everybody didn’t see how clean this interception it is it was those types of things that just happened
Throughout the game that uh and and again so so it culminated in in uh in Kai Moses being robbed of of the offensive MVP the young man threw four touchdowns um I think he had over 200 something yards passing just you know and and and so let me say this it four
Touchdowns and over 200 yards passing and it was a and it wasn’t his best game so he’s you know what I mean it it was almost like he was a it was almost like like okay you know any other kid put up those numbers that’s a no-brainer
MVP and your team wins your team wins 26 nothing and you throw for four touchdowns that’s a no-brainer MVP so again I just somebody make it make sense to me you know what I mean somebody some make it make sense where so so I’m looking at this right now they
Got my man um Amari on here yeah he a beast he a Savage he I think he had two or three of the touchdowns so let me tell you a little bit about his story real quick man first of all love his parents man first thing I want to say
About him is yo he was playing for Greece Olympia and you would have never known he even had this Talent man but hey he made made a switch and like he just did a total 180 man and sometimes yo being in the right environment under the right coaches um
With the right group of players man can make such a huge difference uh for players man there’s a lot of players and I’m not trying to go off a rabbit Trail but there’s a lot of players man that are playing in systems that are just not
Good for them you know what I’m saying or it just don’t fit into um you know what it is that they’re strong at man so I’m really happy for that young man then 52 yo he look like a Manchild uh he’s a beast and then I see
They got their two players right here and the quarterback okay so yeah I’m looking at the picture now thank you dub for uh for so K had four touchdowns 289 hey he didn’t get the MVP me the math a listen he couldn’t get it man because like the other dude had too
Many yeah I Ain even got to argue it no more I’m joking he can’t even say it with a straight face anymore yeah I don’t know man whoever the these idiots are man they need to get oh dub I already I already know dub I already know already
Already know that’s why I was happy he when I heard that he was going over there with y’all I was I already knew what time it was man yeah I already knew what time it was speaking of that you know but again and you know shout out to
Those parents because shout out to those parents because uh Kenny Jackson We who I mentioned earlier his son also was playing at Greece Olympia transfer why I know his name I kept saying like man why his name sound familiar okay was the starting quarterback of Greece at Greece Olympia
His his freshman year transferred to East and he you know he uh been starting quarterback yo it’s crazy so both of them have won sectionals and they on two different teams yeah ask wow so again just you know shout out to those parents for making that decision but but for me
Um like I have a I have a big problem you know I mean as as adults right as fully grown adults um we have have conditioned to an extent to to kind of the society that we live in this world that we live in this country that we
Live in and how it how it is towards black and brown people um our kids have not you know unfortunat like you know what I mean had we and we do the best we can to shield and incubate them from some of those some of those realities as
Best we can but um and and you know what crazy enough man I I was uh I was in Isaac’s office earlier and I saw on his desk he has the book between the world of me so if y’all haven’t read the book or if you haven’t seen the documentary
About the book check it out because it’s Ty Nessie coats really his way of of kind of breaking down that that you know that Veil for his son who who had to be you know I mean have it you know kind of the the the the scales torn off his eyes
In to see the reality that that we face that we face and experience as black and brown folks in this country um but but to compete put the amount of work effort and everything that you put into you know playing this game at at a high
Level and getting all the way to this championship game and having that experience happen to be robbed like that um you know I I talked to my talked to him after the game and I and I and I share with him I said hey man you know
We we know what it is but um one use it as fuel to go out there and win the state championship two um between the two yeah he got yeah you know he got your he got your offensive MVP award but I guarantee you he traded for the brick you
Got you know I mean so you got you got the you got what he wanted I guarantee you you know I mean you you deserve that you deserve that award but between the two you got the one he wants and uh great way to look at it yeah and then
Lastly I told him Hey listen go out there and um so he’s if if you if you’ve been following him in section five he’s three touchdowns away from tying the section five record for uh for most touchdowns thr in the season um it’s 37 uh you know
The current record is 37 he’s at 34 I told him go break it and and and get 40 yeah push 40 and he gonna get it too man he gonna get it I just I I just all I know is that uh when AGR comes out we better be seeing some of these
Faces and uh because if not it’s gonna be a problem you listen uh yeah we’ll be we’ll be back here and we’ll be uh wherever else we need to be because there’s no way there’s no way um our our kids can continue to be robbed and we be silent i’t and I think
Um brother uh Rashad Smith was on as well too man so if you listening to this man this might be something good to pass up the line amongst the communications folks that you um that you connected with too so um just to make sure man we not you know our young people getting
Out there pouring their hearts out right and we already know a lot of the disparities that we’re facing from the academic perspectives when we talk about our schools you know we you know from a athletic perspective when these young people are getting out there and doing their thing and showcasing their talent
And skills man we got to make sure that they they get highlight and get their just do as well too so anything thing we could do to P push that narrative forward man I think it’s important I’m just joking people man hfl like they shouldn’t have got nothing
Like go old boy shouldn’t have got the MVP man shout out to you know all the coaches and and like B was saying the parents that you know um they put in a lot of work in time right um to make sure that you know they their young people their children had the
Opportunity to participate at this level right um so you know kudos to to them as well to his all the young people on the team man for going out and and doing your thing true that man hey man shout out to big brother M man he’s in the
Chat you know he’s saying some positive things in the chat and we know you’re gonna do it brother shout out to em Eminem M du no doubt man hey y’ y’all go on and win the State title man and then they can’t they can’t they can’t
Take the section title away from you and they can’t take when y’all win states away from y’all either absolutely so it’ll be Undisputed and again you know I talk like I said I talked to to him after the game and and U I just I just told him I
Said you know um the the sooner one of the the best lesson or one of the greatest lessons I got um early on in life from a teacher was uh he used to always tell me life is not fair and I used to get I was again I’ve been you
Know I’ve been fiery all my life I guess I used it used to burn me up and um so one day towards the end of the year he sat me down you know why I told you that I would tell you KNE is not fair and I
Was going I was going to a suburban school I wasn’t privileged like like somebody on on Wow Wow I I didn’t say been me that could have been me I went high school you know what I’m saying boy right New York and Brooklyn you know what I’m saying
Soow so while I was at this school uh again grade my teacher he came up to me after at the end of the year and I was like man I said I thought you didn’t like me man he was like he was like nah
Man he said you know he he he was he was Caucasian he said no he said I understand um that for you this world isn’t gonna treat you the same as your classmates and the sooner you understand that you have to deal with the world as
