Me how how do we how do we love people that drain the life out of us how do you love someone and you know that every time praise God you come around every time you show up there draining the life out of you do you know somebody in your

Person whose name you GNA type but don’t type nobody’s name because these person watch this when you leave them you’re drained depleted you feel so weary do you have somebody in your life you can type yes or no if you got somebody in your life that when you leave their
Presence you feel drained you feel depleted you feel weary so we’ve been talking about several types of people number one in the first week we talked about controlling people uh the the second day we talked about critical people amen and and then uh for two days we talked about critical people well
Today we’re going to talk about uh overly needy people and then tomorrow I’m going to bring up bring up one that’s going to be the one that’s really been blessing me as I’ve been studying and that is hypocritical people amen controlling critical today we’re going to talk about overly needy people and
Then tomorrow we’re going to talk about hypocritical people because uh there are how do you love people that are draining the life out of you do you know somebody watch this now we’re talking about today I’m talking about from the subject people people needy people overly needy people can I ask you a
Question do you know someone who needs more than you can give do me a favor type in in number four in the chat if you know someone who’s always asking for more than you can give type in number four I’m talking about overly needy people today uh because whatever you
Give them is not enough do you know somebody like that do you know someone who needs more than you can give and and you give as much as you can but it’s never enough and whatever you give praise God you know it’s Christmas and you give them a gift it’s
Not enough it’s their birthday you bless them with something it’s not enough it’s almost like you say to yourself you know what I’m just not gonna give nothing because every time I come around this person it’s like they look at what I give it’s look I look you know they ask
Me to give something I give the most I can give and I feel drained when I leave them do you know someone who needs more than you can give type yes or no in the chat praise God I got somebody in my life and and and and God I don’t I can’t
Satisfy them the more I give the more they want now every group every now watch this in in a church in a family at a workplace you know it could be in your fraternity with your frat brothers praise God every group has at least one needy person every every group has that
One challenging person that one crazy person you know what I I think if if I could rewrite the Bible I would change a verse in the Bible I would say where two or three are gathered there’s one needy person in the midst Hallelujah where two or three are gathered there’s one crazy
Person in the midst where two or three are gathered there’s one challenging person praise God that the more I help them the more that I give to them and whatever I give to them is never enough it’s not enough it’s not enough so in every group there’s a challenging person
In every group there’s a crazy person when you go to church there’s one when you when when you go to the family function the family reunion there’s one when you go to the workplace there’s one when you amen when when you go out to the party there’s always that one person
Who is needy or who’s challenging who’s crazy everybody has one and if you can’t think of one then maybe you’re that one Hallelujah now we understand something about these people these people they are hurting and just need a little more attention that that’s what’s wrong with
A person praise God that when you try to help them uh they want more than you can give when you when and when you give to them uh it’s never enough these people watch this now I’m going to help somebody these people are hurting and they just need a little more attention
So I want to ask you a question how do I love somebody how do I care for somebody who’s a needy person because Pastor Sean is teaching me this morning that maybe they are just hurting and need a little more attention they little need a little more attention
And so so watch this here’s my definition of a needy person when when you see them you know for a fact this is giv ready to be a long conversation uh when you see them or you’re in their presence they dominate the conversation same old negative story
Same old drama same crisis praise God they are always the victim type me number five if you come around a person who needs a little more attention and when you see them you know this getting ready to be a long conversation you almost want to you’re at Walmart and you
Turn around and and and you go around the corner in in the in in on the bread aisle and and it’s like Dogg it CU you see them at the end and instead of them having their back to you because you get ready to leave your cart and everything
And go get in the car they see you they lock eyes hey and they call you over to them you know this getting ready to be a long conversation you know they G to dominate the situation you getting ready to hear the negative story you getting ready to
Hear something about the same drama you getting ready to hear about the same crisis you getting ready to hear about them being a victim and then when you finally do something for them it’s not enough you give and they need more so how do we love and care for needy people God bless

What about the guy that you know that has no friends and now here you are trapped at the vending machine talking to them and all they talk about is what they’re going through and how how how much they are they are a victim of of their circumstance what about the friend that
You know you call him your best friend but every time you’re around he needs more money he ain’t going to pay you back but he just needs more money how do you love and care for somebody that’s needy what about that coworker praise God who’s always fishing for a
Compliment do you like my shoes you like this jacket hey what about this new gun that I bought hey what about this new uh H look at the house that I’m about to buy look at what about that person who’s always cooworker who’s fishing for a compliment now they’re not needy in the
In the in the in the sense where they want something from you but they do want something from you they they garnish and they they they they consume all of your attention because they’re fishing for a compliment what about a friend who you know that’s just a hot mess or or or
That person in your life that’s always on The Struggle Bus how do you love and care for needy people how do you do it because sometimes it could be complicated to to try to figure out how to love somebody that’s needy because whatever you do it’s never
Enough and and watch this and when you finally pull back they make you feel guilty have you ever been put in that situation come on now do me a favor praise God have we typed the number six in okay type me number seven in the chat
If you’ve got or you’ve been in a situation number seven if you’ve been in a situation where you decide to scale back on helping them and they make you feel so guilty type in number seven in the chat if you’ve ever been made to feel guilty about not helping
Someone and you want to help them God praise God come on now type in number seven in the chat if that person makes you feel guilty because you didn’t help them and you want to help but watch this but they want you to help them in the
Wrong way and what they’re asking you to do for them oh my God they’re asking you to do something and what they’re asking you to do could be hurting you relationship with them in the future can can can y’all just be honest with me and if you don’t

Relationship so number one if you’re going to be a blessing to someone if you’re going to give to someone you need to give strategically what do you mean by that Pastor because you’ve got to stop giving emotionally because people will play on come okay look okay let’s do this let

Happens is we do things that feel good and relieves our guilt for the moment come on now that’s what happens is when you give emotionally you’re trying to relieve a feeling of guilt that that person is put on you listen I’m G tell y’all something all I do every single
Morning coming on this live is to try to give you some tools so that you can work with in your life so that you will not have a strained life but the god kind of life and there are some people that are draining the life out of you because you
See them coming and then they begin to manipulate you cause you to do things because they heighten your emotions and when you when you when you do things out of emotions it’s a temporary fix it makes you feel good but just because I feel good it relieves a sense
Of guilt for the moment but watch this it’s just like drugs it leaves you wanting to do more for that person but if you would give to them strategically then you can turn it around so instead of focusing on what they want focus on what can I do to give
Us both relief I want to help you and you need me to help but what I have to do is I have to stop focusing on what you want and focus on what I need to do so that we can both help each other I need to help you because that’s how God

God shows up at the house in front with these gifts and and everybody goes in there and I mean they had like about five I think it was five kids a husband and a wife and we brought all the gifts in inside the house and I mean the kids
Were going crazy because you can look around and tell there was no tree there was no gifts there was no nothing and this was Christmas Eve but I watched something I watched the husband of the house see me come in he went and sat on the chair and put his head in his
Hands and he looked up with not a feeling of excitement but he looked up with this sense of disgust because he could not do for his family but another man comes into his house and his children sees another man help them my God y’all gota y’all got to hear me
That was the worst feeling I could ever feel in my life because sometimes helping somebody you’re hurting them sometimes coming in like Superman you’re hurting them you can’t you can’t come in there with your with with your good intentions and this is what God told me come on now all
