Details from Jerusalem the war cabinet presented the agreement to knesset members it’s a deal that will take place in two stages in stage one Hamas will release 50 Israeli women and children over 4 days during a pause in the fighting Israel will also release 150 Palestinian prisoners also
Mostly women and minors Israel will then allow around 300 Aid trucks per day to enter Gaza from Egypt plus more fuel the ceasefire will last 4 days in stage two the release of an additional 10 hostages will will result in one additional day in the ceasefire some warn it will be
Hard to resume the war once it stopped but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin netan said the fighting will go on there is Idle talk outside as if after the truths to return our abductees we will stop the war so I would like to make it clear we are at War and we will
Continue the war we will continue the war until we achieve all our objectives eliminate Hamas return all abductees and missing persons and ensure that there will be no element in Gaza that threatens Israel CBN News War correspondent Chuck Holton who has talked with Israelis as he’s traveled throughout the country during the
Fighting says the deal answers a global Cry For Freedom for those who were held captive you have the chance to get out especially some of the women and children that are being held hostage and uh there are so many people here in Israel and elsewhere around the world
Who are clamoring for that but he believes it also involves risk they have to weigh the uh the fact that this is going to put more IDF soldiers at risk because the longer you have troops in the field the more risk that they they take on uh and it is lend some
Legitimacy to Hamas so that’s not a good thing it also takes the pressure off Hamas for a time at least for for several days and lets them have time to rearm and refit and rest and plan what they’re going to do next and so ultimately it will probably draw out
This conflict longer which obviously is not a good thing in 2011 Israel released more than 1,000 Palestinian prisoners including Yaya sinoa who is now head of Hamas and Gaza for one Israeli soldier on October 7th Hamas kidnapped more than 240 hostages since then their return has been part of a nationwide and Global
Campaign to bring them home the idea released footage this week that showed some of the hostages were brought into the alifa hospital while the return of 50 hostages will bring relief to dozens of Israeli families the anguish of nearly 200 other families will go on well Chris Mitchell is with us now
From Jerusalem so Chris what what can you tell us about the three Americans who are expected to be released well Gordon there are two women and also a baby girl a three-year-old girl named Abigail and actually Friday is her birthday and her story is really poignant apparently she was in her
Father’s arms and uh when Hamas terrist shot her and murdered her father and her mother two siblings I believe six and 14 uh were in a closet for for hours uh they they escaped but uh apparently Abigail went to her uh neighbors ran to her neighbors where she was kidnapped uh
By Hamas uh so going from a peaceful kabot on a Saturday morning a Shabbat morning to a terror tunnel is really traumatic for a three-year-old girl uh we know there are 10 other Americans apparently unaccounted for that may be part of these 240 hostages and also there’s hostages from dozens of Nations
That have yet to be released well what are other families that are going to be waiting for loved ones uh what what what what are they doing and what can Israel do to to get them free well apparently according to this deal if there are uh one more day of a
Ceasefire 10 more hostages will be released so that’s one incentive for Israel to actually continue uh the ceasefire uh right now you know probably about maybe 200 families are going to be disappointed when these 50 hostages are released so their anguish will go on a campaign here in Israel and around the
World will go on to continue to free these hostages one element of this Gordon apparently is that the Red Cross is going to get more involved there’s been a lot of criticism here in Israel and around the world that the Red Cross really hasn’t done much if anything to
Really try to reach these hostages and to see what condition they’re in uh and certainly people will continue to pray for the release of these hostages while at the same time trying to make sure that Israel is able to eliminate the threat of Hamas on its Southern border
Does this mean Hamas will actually now stop stop firing Rockets into Israel is that is that part of the deal or are they going to continue the rocket attacks well presumably that would certainly be part of a ceasefire that they would not allow to be uh you know
Continuing to shoot Rockets which a lot of people are surprised they’re continuing to shoot Rockets uh here we are day uh 47 into the into the fighting uh but yes that should be part of the uh ceasefire one other Proviso Gordon is the fact that Israel’s agreed not to
Have air Sur surveillance for six hours uh each day uh when we talked to shuck Colton earlier today he thought there was mindboggling that Israel would actually allow its uh to be blind on the ground so to speak he did say perhaps maybe Israel will use satellite reconnaissance or surveillance uh in lie
Of sort of the uh UAE uavs that are flying almost all the time 247 around the Gaza Strip uh but those that’s we’ll see what happens and that’s one of the provisors of this deal well it is from my view that just means uh they’re allowing hamama time to reload uh and
And get further dug in it you know that’s been the critique but at the same time um you know frankly Hallelujah hostages are being released and uh for a three-year-old girl to be uh kidnapped is mindboggling to me uh and I and I don’t understand this whole world
Opinion that somehow or other um the the Palestinians or the victims here they they took a three-year-old girl it does no um prime minister Netanyahu is promising that the war against Hamas will still go on is the Israeli government concerned there will be growing International pressure for uh a
Permanent ceasefire allow Hamas to still exist I think that’s a big concern of the government but they had to weigh that and that’s been the conundrum for uh the Israeli government all along what’s the ethical and the moral decision to make you want to do all you
Can to free the hostages on the other hand uh you don’t want to stop a war that would eliminate this uh this sort of terrorist monster on their southern border uh Israeli president Isaac kzar talked about that dilemma uh he sided with the cabinet and said it was the
Right decision but the concern is once the ceasefire begins that the momentum of the fighting will stop the momentum will increase International pressure to have a ceased fire and some people are making the point that when isra Israel starts the uh uh if they start a war the
War again then it’s going to put Hamas in the sense of a humanitarian gesture by releasing the hostages and put Israel as the aggressor to starting the war again so that’s a huge consideration for Israel as it’s weighed what to do one way or the other Gordon all right well

As long as I could remember I could feel instantly that father daughter connection on August 12th 2015 Matthew and Carissa Hatfield welcomed their third child Paisley Nolla into the world I can’t describe that feeling that you’re just overwhelmed with emotion like this is my family this is exactly

Already deteriorated her school I ran down to Matt’s office and I’m just like she has a tumor to see the look on his face to not know what was going to happen I’m going to have to bury my daughter and I don’t know how I’m going to do This the mass had spread to her sinus cavity eye socket and middle ear the best case scenario you take the tumor out and then there’s a lot of rehab there’s a lot of therapies there’s reconstructive surgeries neurological deficits cognitive deficits physical deficits the worst case scenario I was
Thinking you know this this could be a malignant aggressive tumor she could die that weekend they reached out to the only one they knew could help all I did was beg God God please don’t let my baby die just please don’t let her die please don’t take my daughter away from me if
Anything you know let me trade places with her through those desperate prayers Matthew found the strength to trust God I just made a promise to God and I told my wife I said I don’t know how this is going to turn out but no matter what
Happens whether she lives or she dies we got to trust God he’s like he’s still good no matter if he takes our baby away there’s a reason there’s always a reason and there will be good out of it as a mom I did I was just like I cannot say those

Point and finally just saying like God either way you’re good Monday morning November 23rd just a few days before Thanksgiving the Hatfields got another call Paisley needed emergency biopsy surgery the surgeon needed to determine if the mass was cancerous or caused by an autoimmune disease called histiocytosis X either one would be
Fatal I was literally visibly shaking I didn’t know how much I could take anymore again they got a word of hope this time from the anesthesiologist who carried her away he was like I had to talk with God this morning about Paisley and he’s like she’s going to be just fine and so
At that moment it’s reassurance that God’s got this they were told the surgery would take 3 hours but just 45 minutes in the surgeon called Matthew and Carissa into a consultation room soon as he opened the door he started shaking his head he’s like your prayers must have worked there was nothing there
Nothing and the smile on my face I was just like what are you serious like oh my gosh and immediately you know we just praised God and U we both started crying and just could not believe what the doctor was saying somehow between Friday and Monday morning this large tumor
Probably the size of a walnut or bigger disappeared they had no medical explanation for it that same week the Hatfields celebrated Thanksgiving with Paisley in their arms and they knew exactly who to thinkk who but God could do such things as these you know who but God a lot of
People were saying you know it’s the hospital’s fault they they had faulty scans I just said hey they did an MRI and a CT it was there on both of them we did a followup after that it was gone I mean this is truly the power of prayer
No one else but God could take that tumor away best Thanksgiving ever one that we’ll never forget for sure 4 months later she was released from All Care with only minor hearing loss in her left ear she’s now a happy healthy toddler and a big sister I’ve
Been doing in this 20 years never experienced anything like this I think it was uh the hand of God directly healing This Little Child it’s crazy it’s wonderful and I feel so blessed I really feel that I was witnessed to a miracle every day I see her it’s just a
Living reminder of what God can do I mean they given my daughter a death sentence and we were supposed to accept it there’s not a day that I go by that I don’t thank God for healing her I look at her now and she’s perfect God made her
