About all the expenses that you have to pay as a MKC member yeah it’s reality not saying I won’t carry cash like that so I just got what was up in my walk so yeah yeah I mean I’m broke So when it comes to expenses guys I got thing about this man like mph see organizations have to one you know I’m saying we don’t just run for free so yes you will have to pay membership dues which I have a video about that so you can watch that video about membership
Dues and different things like that I always say if pH C isn’t investment it’s an investment towards bettering yourself an investment towards you know becoming a better person this investment towards the networking opportunities investment towards being able to where the letters in general it’s an investment you know
I’m saying that’s the way you have to think up you got think of you paying something in order to get an experience in order to you know get more opportunities that’s what you got think of when it comes to expenses now one type of expenses that I’m gonna talk
About is conferences so most organizations they will have a state conference they will have a regional conference and then they’ll have some type of national conference Mars is called Conclave most time reasonable and state conferences will happen on a year-to-year basis now you don’t have to go to those conferences but most time
When you go to those conferences you’re gaining something especially as a undergrad as an undergrad you will meet new brothers and sisters you have the opportunity to go to different professional development workshops you’ll be able to get it might be certified there at the conference’s they also have social score who Steven
Now SAP socials going on there have parties they’ll have different things going on way to have fun but also learning at the same time and get to know people and network so the state compasses is more on a smaller scale so it’ll be cheaper then let’s say our
Regional conference but what you have to remember is you pay for the fees sometimes depending on organization or depending on a conference they’ll block out a certain amount of room where you pay a certain fee you also get a room block where you get a discount on
The womb or early bird feed late bird like there’s all kind of things like that that you have to worry about but just know that you will have to pay for those and budget that into your expenses and into your budget because you want to go to those conference you don’t want
Just be a member and not go to at least one or a few or all state conferences or regional conferences Conclave like you want to Google one because those experiences are worthwhile it’s worth their stuff that’s what you pay for you pay to be a part of these organizations
To grow and meet new people and to network and those are the best ways to network so you’re paying for that experience and regional conference is kind of like state conference but the whole region’s with my region survive Beta Sigma we’re in the southeastern region so that’s South Carolina North
Carolina and eastern Tennessee so that makes up the southeastern region four or five Beta Sigma so now those are the chapters that we’ll see at a regional conference but it brings them more people which means more networking opportunity so it means more sessions which means more things to do which
Means a bigger city will be held at the national conferences will be in a larger city so that’s where the big bucks come into play through the registration fees would be more of course the hotels would be more than you got thinking about flights because most likely they’re not
Gonna be near a place that you live like our Conclave is coming up this year you’ll be at Las Vegas so we’ll be in Las Vegas I’m thinking about going so when you go to one of these conferences this fences will be playing for diff things like you’ll get a gift a special

Get it throughout the year so that’s one thing the nail is not free you have to expense those two no I’m saying a lot of people still walk around here with a probate stuff and ain’t bought now more thing and that’s okay but you know a partner’s organizations you know rockin
Stuff that you really want to wear rocket stuff that I know that swaggy to you you know that they got that drip for you so make sure you spend that nilly another thing you want to put into your expenses is roll trips especially in undergrad I mean grad check with road
Traps – road traps grad chapters road trip – but you want a road trip I used to go to North Carolina to UNC Charlotte you know we used to always go up there to it down as in the cinemas chiller doom they take us to the sea we know they saw us love
You know I said I do want to row two different chapters network that way having them come to your campus like that’s what it’s all about you want a road trip and go different places because that helps your experience that helps you build memories that helps you you know like build Brotherhood and
Sisterhood you’re not saying man you will have to count that as a special kiss for one you got to pay for gas you got to pay for things you got to do you gotta pay for entry into maybe they are having a party or something but it’s a discount for
Frat sororities like you want to make sure that you put that on the table as well because I didn’t today all right you can’t roll with no money unless you’re lbiza unless it’s gonna pay for you like what you gonna do fly down the nexus pits you wanna add in
Is chakra fees most chapter fees are pretty cheap specially in undergrad all right about fifty dollars 95 eighty some might be a hundred I don’t know it just depends on your chapter but you want to make sure you pay your chapter do is you because that helps but definitely bits
The tip that’s all I have that year especially if your chapter is a smaller chapter than y’all don’t really have big events that bring in a good bit of revenue you want to pay your chapter dues that help in order to host events to bring in more revenue you know I’m

Brother that well I got my little sister that so you want to explicit at you want to tossed aside so you can get them a nice little jacket nice customized sir I think that shows great brotherhood and sisterhood if you could like give your club or your little sister that’s coming
Through a little brother that’s coming through something nice and show them a good time but you know we never come to these dismisses like I said a lot of these can be waived not waived but a lot of these can be put somewhere like you don’t always have to go to conferences
You don’t always have to go to Nashville state conferences you want to go and you want to put in your head that you’re going to go but if you don’t got it don’t think that you’re gonna be a kick down to organization or you’re gonna get
You know red flag for not going and different things like that because we understand that not everybody have the funds after they joined to continue to go to conferences and different things like that like a lot of times you know we know that and don’t put stress on
Yourself if you can’t make it to something like that or don’t put your Stoke don’t put stress on yourself if you can get your club something like don’t put stress on yourself but just keep in mind that that’s something that would be nice you know saying most of
Time if you trying to roll chip your lbiza LS has got you or your your your other fraternity brothers in your chapter got you you know saying like if they’re going somewhere you want to go you don’t got gas money they be like alright cool that’s fine like just hop
In or something like that if you only got money for food they’re paid for you know like I ain’t it’s never been a road trip that I wanted to go on but I couldn’t because I didn’t have money even my lb or another fraternity brother
Paid for me paid to gas or no pay for my pay for my entry or where we was going or something like that day like that a good thing about fraternities sororities we will look out for our brothers and sisters you know I’m saying like so don’t stress like if you don’t
Have me like expenses and money all the time that you shouldn’t do any like understand that you’re still conjoined but just understand it those are some expenses that you need to take into consideration and think about before your joy like you want to make sure that
You can have fun on your own and pay for these on your own and not just rely on just your brothers and sisters but if you come upon a situation in one-off where you can’t you feel like you can’t go cuz you don’t have the funds there
