What’s up everybody it is your boy record coming at you with videos that help you get into the organization of your exploit but today we’re going to be talking about how to approach a Greek member I’m about to give you the tools I’m about to give you the tips I’m going
To show you how to move into the situation that helped me talk to a Greek number and things you need to do and things you don’t need to do so let’s get into the video before we get into the video if you’re new to my channel consider hitting that subscribe button

To join while they’re in a group setting if they’re around their sorority sisters or they’re around their fraternity brothers I would suggest not approaching the whole group I like one-on-one situations one-on-one contacts I think that’s the best way to go about approaching a Greek member unless is out
Of organizational fare then I would say go up and approach the group because they’re in a setting where they’re expecting questions but on one-on-one basis like walking to class and you see someone walking the same direction that happened to be in a fraternity or disorder you’re trying to join that I
Would suggest talking to them at that one or if you see them sitting down eating lunch by themselves something like that then that’s your time to go in and move in and talk to now one thing I do want to tell you remember to not ask questions based on what you should have
Done research on so if it’s on the National website not ask them that question as more personal question by hey why did you join such a such oh how has your experience been since you don’t choice or how has such-and-such helped you become a leader on campus to help
You grow as a person those are things that people really want to ask you like me for example if someone came up to me and said hey what’s yours for turning philanthropy I’ll tell the March of Dimes Relay for Life blah blah blah they can see that on
A website so that’s not me given advice that’s just me telling you what you could have seen on a website but if you came out to me and say hey how have your Smith’s been in the fraternity architect or if you came up to me and said hey I
Noticed you’re in 5×10 fraternity incorporated that’s an organization now I’m currently looking into and I just want to know if you could tell me a few things like why you joined what helped you figure out probably the things is for you then that’s something that you can’t find on a website that’s something
That I’ll have to tell you my screen and then you can go to another degree remember that’s in the same thing and see if it matches over mine that’s the door if they’re in my organization if it matches up and now we’ll give you more of a consistent answer and boom you have
Your answer but don’t go up to a group member ask them what’s the code where we all found things like that you could follow the NASA website he’ll you can google which I recommend going to the National website before going to Google or go to national website first then use Google
Because sometimes the rule can be wrong they take it to a Wikipedia page somebody wrote it in and they got all stacked in there so it goes in the National website first then Google but if you see someone on campus that in organization you’re trying to join you
See a wall just go up approach to gentl e and just be like hey I see you’re in such-and-such organization that’s an organization that I’m currently doing research on let them you join research and just be like could you tell me some things that helped you decide that this organization is for you
And they’ll be happy to answer the question for you and we’ll help them remember you as a person people to ask me what the colors which are philanthropy and what’s our principle outerlands people that ask me hey Cory why did you join Phi Beta Sigma hey Cory
Did you tell me some reasons why you join how help I’ll remember those people I remember they face and I remember the name because they’re stairs and it shows me they’ve done their research and they will not be asking the basic question and if you approach them digitally it
Makes them feel you know at ease it’s not like you to go to water solution we’re going to the movies it already gives us a negative tape so if you come up densely and just be yourself just be gentle be you it will help you out in
Along with social media these days you can also approach brief members on social media I would recommend Facebook message Instagram DMS Twitter you know reach out to them privately and set up a lunch you know set up a time where y’all can meet 101 now don’t make it a lot of
Location where everybody on campus be and chillin like you know like off campus that has ax bees you know that over Windies health in where y’all can just get together and talk about the organization like that’s something that you can do and that’s not a way to reach
Out being discreet without making it public without you know mentioning them on Twitter is the deal you know you could do it on a discreet way to greet members to respect you for that so you can reach out to an asset set up for lunch or if they’re in your class you
Can ask them if they can stay back at the class to talk with you and ask them some questions and get to know a little bit about their organization from their perspective and that’s different you say from their perspective already making them know like this is from my
Perspective not something that they can get onto national website those are some tips that I think will help you now like I said all my advice is not guaranteed but it will help you prepare yourself to you know be successful in any encounter as far as as non-greek member this and that
