Guide for you now there’s no specific way no Chico no secrets that I can tell you that help you get into a fraternity so the things I’m going to tell you today is going to help maximize your opportunity to actually get into the fraternity of your choice so number one
The first thing you want to do when you first step foot on campus is start to kind of figure out what organization clubs extracurricular activities you want to do flyer and comment that key you need to go through some organizational fairs you need to go to Disney visit and kind
Of figure out where you fit in on that campus and once you do that you will be glory you need to figure out at least one or two organizations you can get involved in and start making your mark on campus whether that the club dealing with your major a club or organization
Dealing with the Black Student Union I don’t know but you need to figure out a way to get involved on campus intramural sports club or it’s something to help set you apart from a student that student going to class and studying and that is number two more to figure out
Your organization and you’ve been in that organization for semester or to start trying to run for positions within that organization you need to be a secretary president and vice president something in that organization a pitch here you need to have a position because it’s going to help you will do it on
Your resume the worst thing you can do is be interested in a fraternity but don’t have no reason for them to choose you so you need to maximize your opportunity as far as being whirled around having so many experiences that is going to be hard for them to deny you
All right number three number three we want to make or yourself and this is a business goal to be a good thing not a bad thing you want to make a good name for yourself also settable events not just a fraternity you want to join but other MPs the organization’s and sororities
Event to start making yourself known in that atmosphere go to their party go to their forum if they have joint community service opportunities go to that and kind of start and getting your face known so people like okay that dude is a worker he is going to work in whatever
Organization he’s getting in keep on the putting work and actually contribute so that’s the type of name you want to make for yourself because if not if I wouldn’t say it weed you out but the more you have a positive impact on campus the more likely you’re going to
Be able to get into the organization of your choice now like I said none of the things I’m saying is guaranteed but it should help you maximize your opportunities so make sure you make a great name for yourself because if not there’s going to be several other guys
On campus that leaders that involved and making their name so you got to make a name for yourself cuz the last thing a fraternity want is to get someone into their organization and they just wear their letters that’s the last thing we want so we want god that’s going to be
Active in the organization we want god that’s going to put in work and contribute to this chapter and organization as a whole number four is you want to get to know at least one member in organization and if you don’t know someone does not go read you out but if
You can if you can at least get to know the one member in that organization somebody that can vouch for you somebody that can kind of speak on behalf of you like yet this dude is pretty cool I could see him in our organization I
Think he’d be a great person to add to this chapter like someone that could speak highly of you to kind of sway both here and there that would if you were to be during the interview or something like that so make sure if you can this
Is not you know this is not something that everybody can do but if you can make sure that just make sure you get to know at least one person I’m not talking about like a hand by so keep in norther where you eat much sometime maybe all
Are in the same class and maybe I’ll study together something like that something but get to know them on a good enough basis where they can vouch for you another five number five is you want to start building your reputation on campus with alpha C and staff and the
Reason why I say this because you’re going to need those letters of recommendation whenever you start is joint I guarantee you’re going to lead at least one or two I don’t care what organization trying to join you’re going to need at least one letter of recommendation at least so make sure
You’re getting do it with your professors if you have a student job your manager so they could write a letter of recommendation that actually comes from the heart there’s so many people that write letters of recommendation that use the same template they use for everybody but
If they’re really able to speak about to really able to elaborate on your their experiences with you how you help them do this or how you add in class or your academics or your demeanor if someone like that can write something good about you you want to
Kind of get to know your professor so they can kind of build that relationship with you because you don’t want to go to someone and ask them to write you a letter of recommendation they don’t know you like that’s like asking a stranger on the side street yo write as letter of
Recommendation a could that I’m in this organization and I did this many community service hours and or you don’t get out of the water step to patheticness nah man don’t do that make sure you build a reputation on campus with LT and staff as well that’s going
To be key when it comes down to getting these letters of recommendation number six is hang with the right people hang with the right people don’t hang with people that’s going to take your name and put a bad rep around your name hanging with people that’s going to help
You elevate to the next level don’t hang with nobody that be for people always know what shade like hanging with people that’s going to help you man hang with people that going to helps me build your name on campus and this genuine because word is going to get around like yeah
Angle L these phony behind people and he might be like that too and it’s bad for a whole group of people to make that one of something about you but it happens all the time so the people that you hang around and it’s pretty much in your circle will even be detrimental or
They’re healthy so you need to hang around people that are going to help because the last thing you need is for them to be holy back sums of all my tips for you there’s a lot of things that I can say I’m gonna keep this video short and simple but
Those are some things that you need to focus on you need to focus on those things if you plan on join the organization so if you focus on those their chances of getting in will be higher than if you just went to class and that’s it so I’m dropping the jewels
