And share this video go ahead and comment in the comment section support your boy in today’s video we’re going to be talking about do NPHC organizations recruit do we recruit do we actively go out there and pursue people to join our organizations or do we just sit back relax chill and wait
Till y’all come to us that’s what I’m going to be explaining in this video today so if you’re interested make sure you stay tuned make sure you hit that like button and help me out but let’s get into the video Okay so when it comes to recruitment and MPAC organizations a lot of people say MPAC organizations don’t recruit a lot of people saying MPAC organizations do recruit to me to be honest I think it just depends on the actual MPAC organization some MPAC organizations actually recruit now I’m saying if they
Are small chapter smaller organizations they might actually recruit them I actually go out there to seek members I some if you know it’s a popular MKC organization or if it’s a larger chapter they might not recruit they might sit back and relax a little bit so imma go
Over what to do in both scenarios so if it’s an MP AC organization that actually actively recruit now when you think of recruit you might be thinking of passing out fire saying hey come join this come join that that’s not what they’re going to be doing what they’re gonna do is
They’re gonna sit back and watch they’re gonna sit back and scope out everybody that they think might be a great fit for their organization what they do is they will subliminally invite them to tailgate subliminally some invite them to an event and try to get them engaged
In some of the things that they’re doing on campus to see what their organization is about most likely they’re not gonna be like hey you need to join this organization hey we really want you most likely they would just extend offers to come see what they’re about I called
This recruitment because it’s recruiting on a smarter level we’re gonna invite you to some things and we’re gonna see if you like and if you like it you gonna hit us up and if you hit us up we’re gonna tell you more information and then it’s just a chain reaction from there
Now whenever you are dealing with the MPAC organization that might have this recruitment tactic the best way to kind of win them over and get invited to these events and different things like that is to be yourself is to be involved on campus to know yourself and be
Confident don’t be discouraged if NPHC organizations don’t be like hey we want you in our organization I hate come join this a company don’t be discouraged because most likely it’s not going to happen but if you get invited to events personally if the president or member
Invite you to a forum or invite you to a cookout invite you to something that they have going on go out there way to invite you that’s almost like recruitment process almost is more like a recruitment scheme I wouldn’t say skiing because that sounds bad but more
Like hey we want you to see what we’re about and we also want to see what you’re about that’s the way recruitment works it’s not blatant is not pushy like you would think whenever you hit a term recruitment is more relaxed and undercover recruitment more than
Anything now let’s say you run across an organization and they don’t have a recruiting process you know they are all up here they say hey if people wanted to do this this isn’t that they gonna come to us they don’t come as if it’s an organization that don’t really have a
Recruitment process and actually seek out members they just wait for people to come to them sometimes it’s harder because nine times out of ten a lot of people most likely is probably interested in our organization so you’re gonna have to have some things to offer other than the generic requirements and
As GPA that service and NASA leadership you’re gonna have to have other things to offer the GPA is a 2.5 you need to have at least a 3.0 if the community service hours is I don’t know you need a hundred service hours I don’t know you
Need to have a hundred fifty you need to go above and beyond so you can get noticed so you can be notice and be on their radar at the end of the day if they’re not really seeking people whenever people go to the ID they’re going to most likely select the people
That best fit their organization and beyond because most likely people that go to the ID they meet the requirements to be honest most likely nine times out of ten if they go to the interest meeting or the informational session most likely they meet those requirements
So you got to think about that when you walk into the IG those people are most likely meeting the minimum and then some people in there’s gonna exceed that so you always have to be thinking like what can I do to best prepare myself what can
I do to get my GPA well above the requirement what can I do to make myself a better person to be looked at it’s not doing this stuff because of the organization at the end of the day you’re doing this to better yourself then if you get your GPA up that’s not
Just saying oh I’m doing this just to get new organizations gonna help you on your resume is gonna help you get jobs it’s gonna help you graduate and if you’re trying to build your character you’re not just doing it for the organization itself it’s for you as well
Like if you build your character it’s going to show you’re gonna be confident you’re gonna walk differently you don’t talk differently you gonna feel differently you’re gonna wear different things and look good you know I’m saying like that’s what it’s all about we as MPAC organizations don’t
Necessarily want the best of the best we take people that we can mold we take people that we can enhance their lives but we do not want to take people where they’re looking to find themselves and that’s where a lot of problems come into play and I’m going on into a ramp but
