Some of y’all just crossed or some of y’all have aspirations to cross a MPC organization so this is a great video for you all if you’re looking to see how you’re supposed to wear your letters and when you should and when you shouldn’t it’s a lot of things that a lot of
People don’t tell you about when you’re wearing your letter so in this video I’m going to explain that process to you so make sure you stay tuned and let’s get into the video Now how am I gonna make this video about when to wear your letters and when not to wear your letters and I don’t even got any letters on hold on one second I gotta go grab my letters Okay now throw this bad boy out all right that’s better okay so some things that you need to know before you start wearing your letters like it’s a lot of things people don’t tell you it’s a lot of things that people just expect for you to already know so if you’re new to
Greek life or if you think about becoming Greek these are some things you need to know whenever you wear your letters so first off you never want to get white boy wasted in your letters like you don’t want to be looking sloppy drunk anything like that in your letters
Cuz let’s say somebody is looking at you they don’t know anything about your organization and let’s say they see you out there sloppy drunk and now you’re the only representation they know of that organization and always remember I said they said a lot of my videos whenever you join an NPHC organization
You are now a part of something bigger than yourself so whatever you do is going to reflect that organization and not just you as a person but that organization as a whole so refrain from getting white boy wasted tour back tossed slammed in your letters because it’s gonna be a bad look for
People that’s looking at you and you got to get dragged out the club you out there in the grass laying down sleep and you let us drunk and you’re like nah nah we don’t need that it’s okay tend olds a little bit of drinking alcohol in there
You know drinking a nicest ring and controlling your alcohol it’s perfectly fine if you’re of a each of course second thing you don’t want to do is you don’t want to fight in your letters man like I don’t care if somebody step on your shoes in the club I know a lot of
Women don’t like when girls step on the shoe step on they feed anything like that refrain from swinging in your letters just let it go because for one people can sue the organization so let’s say you fight somebody and then let’s say you give my black eye and then
They’re getting they got all this vision problems now and they see that you had the letter zone they gonna sue you and they might sue the organization as well but if you didn’t have letters on then how can they sue the organization if he was a representative
That organization when you got into a fight with them think about it but yes people be looking for all type of ways to get this money don’t have like you don’t know you’d be trying to find ways to get this money just watch out for that do not fight in your letters the
Third thing you don’t want to do on your letters is wearing triple nails do not wear triple nails some people don’t even like double Meneely right now I’m wearing double cuz I got on my wristband and my shirt I would say triple nuia is the worst
Don’t wear a wristband I shirt a tee bandana like don’t wear all that at one time find a way to keep it to one to two items I know y’all proud the way you lettuce and I know y’all want to but do not wear triples know you and if you do
That’s disagreement no don’t don’t do getting on them overheads please I like what you doing I see you got this nail you back in my day we only used to bear about one or two but it look like you got too much nail your own so let me let
Me take that up for thing you don’t want to do when you’re wearing nail yet is to size other people up and I hate when this happening in fraternities you see another guy walking around and you’re nailing you go up to him and then you
Try to size a lot like yo you really in this fraternity like we don’t do the secret handshake right here in public to make sure that we here don’t do that man like if you haven’t seen this person on your campus around and there were
Letters it’s good to go up to him you know shake the hand introduce yourself see where they’re coming from and ask them some questions to your question might yo way from where your chapter is and if that’s looking a little shaky then yeah but don’t just walk up with
Somebody cuz you got on letters and they guy don’t let it lie yo where you from let’s see if you really not refraining from doing and that brings me to my fifth don’t do don’t ignore people in your letters don’t do it don’t do it
Like it’s so easy like when you got on letters and you’ll want to feel like talking and you want to see fresh so Roy you see somebody opening you just walk past them and they got on a shirt and you don’t do a head now something like that don’t do that
Because people see that people like oh they just ignore the onus or or or they just ignore their own brother yo or Nate really brothers and sisters they just walk past each other like that like people always watch it so if you’re wearing letters and you see a soul roar
Or fret whether you normal not always acknowledge them don’t just walk past them because you don’t know them personally but I always say what’s up head nods do a handshake I know y’all guys secret n sakes all kind of stuff like that like don’t ignore number 6 is
Don’t flaunt two letters all the time we’re triple and double nilly is enough but don’t flaunt them all the time don’t wait you letters Monday through Sunday then it’s gonna look like you’re thirsty for attention it’s looking like you just love being in the spotlight which some
People do but lemonade about once or twice a week every other week like you don’t have to wear your lettuce every single day to show that you in the organization you don’t have to wear a shirt on Monday is a jacket on Tuesday a bandana on Wednesday like it’s cool to
Just have your wristband on or a little keychain languor and keep it move and before we move forward with the next portion of this video the question of the day is what college or university are you’re currently at or graduated from and if you’re not in college right
Now or in high school or high school you go to put in the comment section let everybody know represent now what you do want to do is whenever you’re doing community service always wear your nail you always never go to a community service event without know you’re on you
Need to let people know what you’re a part of and you’re giving back and let’s say I’m doing community service at Salvation Army and I got the shirt off and people see me giving back people see me helping is showing them that hey my organization supports Salvation Army my
Organization supports what I’m doing and they will see that my organizations out there giving back like it’s always good to be prideful and proud but it’s always a great feeling to have your letters on when you’re doing community service don’t go out that doing community service no damn nail yo it’s laughing
Not about me but by your profile another dude make sure you wear your letters I know one of my daughters don’t wear a Monday through Sunday but make sure you wear your letters at least once or twice a week show people that you are proud of the organization that you join there’s
So many people join and you don’t see them wearing letters you don’t see them with a license plate tag you don’t see them with no Lanyu you don’t see them with a wristband they just walk around here like a regular person like they just don’t care that they in this fraternity
Or sorority that’s the point of joining these organizations to be prideful to be proud you shouldn’t be on campus walking around and people don’t know you’re part of this organization like you should be a walking representation of that organization and if people see you and
Then all of a sudden they see you at this event and they like oh shoot I didn’t know such a session was a sigma thank you don’t wear this you don’t wear that yeah if you want campus man you gotta you gotta represent but not too much but right in the middle number
Three kind of goes with number one will always do good deeds in your letters like when you have your letters on and you just out walking around you see a homeless man you know asking for money you know like your letters to force you to be a better person and you should be
This person without letters but sometimes when you have a letter she be like you know something I’m gonna give this dude a meal i’ma get us do a dollar oh I’m gonna help this person right here on the side of the road today like when you know that your letters always think
About how you get help when you’re out and about cuz you’re always a walking representation you hear me saying this a lot in this video you’re walking representations of the organization or the face of the organization when you wear your letters because it’s nine times out of ten if you walk in Walmart
And you have your letters on you’re probably nine times out of ten the only person they see in Walmart with your letters on so if you acting a dummy in Walmart with your letters on that’s that one time that person will be like dang that organization that’s blowing right
They don’t know how to act it’s little stories that get back to people all the time like you never know who’s watching you never know who’s looking for you to mess up or who’s looking for you to do this and that like man always be a great representation in
Your letters the last thing I want to say is you are always gonna be a representation of your organization whether you wear your letters or not but when you wear your letters it’s pretty much like I’m in this organization so when you’re walking around waise be in the best conduct safeguard
Your organization’s reputation like don’t do anything to make anyone think any less of your organization so always be aware what you’re doing where your surroundings beware of everything when you’re wearing your letters because you are representation of that organization but that’s it for this video I probably
