What’s up everybody this is your boy Cory and I’m coming at you with a video about fraternities things you need to know before you want to start joining or looking to join a fraternity so let’s get started so the first thing you want to start looking at between trying to
Join a fraternity and starting to see their mission statement and their principles you want to see if the principles line up what you’re trying to do what you’re thinking and kind of figure out if that’s something you feel of course I joined a Phi Beta Sigma fraternity and Brotherhood scholarship a
Service hit me because for one I have any brothers I just have one sister so I want to be a part of an organization that addresses Brotherhood because I want a long band of brothers that you trust on and things that nature so I felt like the principal had Brotherhood
In it then of course that’s something they’re going to uphold also community service I love getting involved with the community I love helping out I’m sorry community service will be great for me a scholarship for some pointing to college and graduate so I want to make sure the
Organization would not take away from my academics and take away from me graduate seconds you want to research the organization of course now you also want to research the chapter that’s on the campus that you’re attending so all for one you want to see if you can connect
And click with the current brothers on that campus you will be with those guys for the duration of your time on that campus you might like the organization but if the chapter isn’t what you want it to be there’s no need to join because the chapters were going to be around
Majority of the time third you want to join based on what you’re seeing on campus and what you’ve seen them on the National website you have to go to some of their events go to the cookouts step shows homes things of that nature and see how they are great on campus to see
If you can fit in and see yourself fitting in with that organization fraternities is not organizations to help you rebrand yourself in this to help make you a better you is not geared to say hey this person like this we’re going to transform them into what we
Want no fraternities are there to help you become a better you not to reform you you are there to help the fraternity and the fraternity is there to help you become what you’re trying to be and help you graduate and become a leader to help you have a long Savannah brothers to
Look upon more advise job opportunities emotional support a lot of guys confuse returnees with hey they’re going to if you wasn’t any of those before you joined you’re not going to be any of those after you join now it might help you or introduce you to more people help
