This is a two-way street it’s not all about why they choose you it’s about why should you choose them why should you pursue interests in that organization or that chapter that’s what we’re gonna be talking about today so make sure you hit that subscribe button if you’re not

I’ll wait for you to hit that subscribe button you ain’t hit it yet okay well you miss now All right so whenever you think about what organization to what’s happening you need to join you need to think about why are you choosing them like what is it about them that makes you interested so that’s the reason for this video today is to help you with that thought
Process not only should you figure out what you have to offer to them but what can they offer to you you need to think about their prestige a little bit and I’m not just saying as an organization as a whole but you know their chapter like the organization might be this
Prestigious organization but the chapter don’t do nothing no Wars no nothing they just not active really like they active but they don’t host events they don’t do anything like that so that comes into terms what do they have to offer to you you have to figure
That out for yourself like what are you looking for and can they offer that to you so whenever you’re thinking about joining a organization and you’re trying to figure out what all they have to offer this is all the things you need to be worrying about number one you need to
Figure out if they are actively trying to better the campus or trying to better the community aren’t they doing that or all you see is them walking around letters going to parties that’s it and are they giving opportunities to students to get involved in to get community service hours aren’t they
Offering that too like that some things you need to think about because not only does that show that they actually care about the community and actually care about community service there’s one thing that all MPAC organizations have in common is the community service piece every single MPAC organization should
And wants to impact the community in different type of ways so that’s one thing you need to look at can they offer that to you now if you’re not looking for community service then I guess it don’t matter but that should be a huge reason why you should want to get
Involved is the help of the community you know I’m saying if they’re not doing that then you got thing like down what were they doing like think about it number two is you need to figure out can they offer you brotherhood or sisterhood if you’re trying to join a fraternity
And they can’t offer you brotherhood are you trying to join the sisterhood and they can’t offer sisters to you like a legit feeling of blood family then that’s something you need to think about as well cuz why are you spending this time trying to join a fraternity or
Sorority that has these sisters and brothers but you can’t get that feeling out of oh I’m back to hitting this thing again let me move this back because at the end the day that’s what a fraternity and sorority is for to bring people together it’s to bring like minds
Together to bring diverse people together and have this one experience together go through the process together go through the motions of life together with other people and it helped motivate you and all that good stuff but they can’t do that to you or for you why are
You’re looking at them if you see pettiness going on in the chapter or something like that and these people not hanging out with this fraternity brother or this sorority sisters are hanging out with this group of sorority sisters and it’s all cliquish within the sorority and the Brotherhood like why are you
Looking at that organization or that chapter or whatever you know I’m saying you’re spending your time trying to join this organization and once you get in the last thing you want to do is feel like you’re not a brother or you’re not assisted and I’m saying like nah they
Don’t work like that and the question of the day is what are some things you’re looking for from an organization what are some things that you want them to offer you let me know in the comment section number three will this organization love who you are will it
Level you are are you gonna grow if you join this return to your sorority that’s what they need to be offering you cuz if they don’t help you grow or help you be a better person then why are you spending one money and time to join and pursue this organization if they’re not
Helping you level up it’s levels to this man number four number four is can they enhance your college experience when you join this organization is it gonna be a burden on you or is it gonna be asset to you a tenday so many people join these organizations and then they
Join like dang there’s a bunch of pressure Bank this is a lot of work saying this is this net which it is a lot of work but is it an asset to you too is it gonna help your college experience is it gonna help you make memories in college and I’ll say if
They’re not doing nothing on campus you ain’t making no memories to be honest you ain’t making none and none of memories you know I say so you got to think about it like are they able to enhance your college experience think about that these are reasons why you
Should choose them are they going to do that for you number five will they help you out socially you might be a little bit social but will it enhance your show but when what god damn it will it enhance your social skills and I’m not saying just go to parties I’m not saying
Just you know going to throw loss and cookouts and stuff like that I’m talking social skills as in you’re comfortable as far as talking to people presenting being around a large group of people and controlling the atmosphere with your presence can then help you out with that
You might already be able to do that but can they enhance that these are things you really need to be thinking about because a lot of people don’t think about why should I choose a organization they always think about why should they choose me what do I have to offer them
But you got to think about it’s a two-way street they got an offer stuff to you too and number six can they help you succeed academically are they gonna push you towards your academic goals are they gonna make sure you get in that Dean’s List even though you’re the one
Opposed to do that but can they push you towards that the GPA to get into organizations might be a two point five but do they hold themselves to a higher standard and say in order to be active in the chapter you needed a three point one or three point three that will push
You towards your academic goals that will push you towards excellence you got to think about that number seven will they help you out as far as your career our people in this organization known for getting great job when they graduate or known actually making it and being successful after
They graduate or are they known for people graduate and they usually in the same town they’re not doing nothing they’re not making a difference they just like you need to know that because this is gonna help you out if you don’t an organization they’re known to help
People get to where they’re trying to go in life career-wise you gonna be that next person up you got to think about that the networking is real think about all the people that’s in that organization that came through maybe the chapter that you’re interested in that happened being your major look at them
On Instagram look at them on LinkedIn and see where they’re at now and see if you join that organization you can have them as a connection or as a letter of reference or something like that you never know so think about where can they take you in your career just by being in
That organization think about but yeah y’all I just want y’all to think about some of those things because a lot of people don’t think that hey I need to figure out what does this organizations that have the offer to me not just me often to know what can they offer to me
Not all organizations gonna offer you the same thing so that’s why it’s good to do your research that’s why it’s good you know do you research on these chapters on these organizations and do all the people and know all this do happy research because that’s gonna answer a bunch of the questions and
