Prayer May the god of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing so that you may abound in Hope by the power of the Holy Spirit God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble Jesus said I am the resurrection and the life those who

Me was a place for everything and everything in its place most importantly Papa to taught us the importance of bonding bonding to people with music he made a lot of his friends through his love for music and his amazing taste has become a part of our personality

Now God bless you Summit thank you everyone for making it today suit lived a rich life over the years across many many cities many groups of friends and family we might have heard of each other through him and I know he wouldd have liked dearly for all of us to

Meet despite the circumstances it’s great that we all here together for the first time everyone who knew samit is in one place and I’m sure this means something to him very deeply we likely each have many different words to describe Sam we could describe persons as we have

Seen them and as we experience them or you could describe a person as the person they would like to be and aspire to be the person they deeply want to be we usually describe people the first way as we see them and experience them this is typical but today is not a typical

Day samit a friend brother father loved in so many other ways has gone too soon maybe decades too soon we don’t know what he’d have gone to do gone on to do or the life that he may have led how he might have been described

Differently by all of us if his life had gone differently so I know I like to describe him in terms of how he would have liked to be thought of as and the two words that come to my mind are love and kindness I’d like to speak about those

And in the process as his dear friend and someone who had a chance to observe him closely and whom he confided in I have a few messages to share for you that I hope will bring you some comfort I will miss mentioning people and groups and I ask for your forgiveness in

Advance we each have only seen a part of his life I decided to do this anyway knowing my loving and kind friend would have forgiven Me why love and kindness to describe samit of everyone I know across all parts of my life he was the one who spoke about love and kindness the most I’m in my mid-40s and Life by this time connects you with a lot of people their ways of thinking and their

Outlook I’ll say this again he was the one who spoke about love and kindness the most and it only got more confident as time passed yet for those of us who know him at times he put a wall between love and himself we knew he could hold it

Back he was deeply affected by the pain of others yet at times he could be harsh and aloof to the ones closest to him but as one of his closest friends I believe this to be true at his deepest he felt love he wanted to be

Loved he wanted to be a force in giving more of it it was his not so secret life mission and over the Decades of friendship I saw this realization emerge in him the conviction to learn how to be kind and how to love this stray cat in the neighborhood felt the love

Even when samit hit hard times he’d ensure he had a great big bag of cat food this cat repaid his kindness by ripping up the seat of our bullet I call it our bullet because we had an open love triangle samith I and the bullet a modern kind of

Relationship so this cat would scratch the seat up vigorously and I’d be scratching my head and he would patiently explain to me why it was okay and the the cat was such a poor little thing Etc you could feel his empathy for a creature that no one cared

About we felt the love when he got when we got one of his bare hugs including my mother who has a person from a different generation is just different he knew it was an awkward hug in the sense that my mother was not a hugger he didn’t care it was his

Expression of love and he wanted her to feel it at his purest deepest when he was in flow he didn’t hold love back and clearly all of us felt his love as well which is why we here we flowing back the love to him that we felt in different ways over the years

I also know he felt love and we should all be comforted by that whatever we saw in the exterior samit could feel love when he first came to Bangalore in the early ’90s the circumstances of his parents meant that for all practical purposes he came here an emotional

Orphan it’s hard but true for those of us who know know him he was alone in a strange town he was alone in a strange town and didn’t even speak the language well at 16 life had deprived him of Parental love at 16 he had lost the security of a

Home that he could think of as his own at 16 whatever identity he had up to that point in time had been reset we’ll never know what he went through whether those experiences hardened him or made him Ultra sensitive broke him in some ways inside or shaped him it must have been

Difficult to love and to allow yourself to be loved but he did feel love most recently he felt the love as he reconnected with his family in in Delhi and other parts with his oldest friends from lakov to Sonu dii Walter Baya Samara Dolly Ruchi Ronnie sarla Auntie Ura

Auntie Alin and the rest of his family and friends who made it here and to the many Aunts Uncles cousins and other friends who couldn’t for us it was a joy to see him going with that flow of being more connected with that side of the family making more frequent visits talking

About his family and friends with us when he came back willu he was blessed and glad to have you even closer right here in bangal as a family we know that even in the short time that he seemed to reconnect that you face challenges together that life brought you together again to

Support each other through we know you had good times as well all of you made him truly happy these last few years with your love he felt the love through his colleagues over time with whom he slowly built a career and then became an entrepreneur to ephra Timmy Mahesh Kishore Victor and

His many many other friends from work in you he found mentorship and Brotherhood through the ups and Downs of a difficult business to be in he felt the love through his Facebook groups sharing puns and jokes the devastation they feel is already visible on his wall he felt the love through motorbikes always a thing he was close to but more recently something that occupied his

Time and energy to Saga and the rest of the team at Bangalore motorbikes this was suit’s own passion project maybe his first really and you were the closest to it he felt the love through music with people who were musicians who were fellow lovers his passion for it was

Infectious and some of my favorite life memories will be the two of us eagerly sharing our most recent discoveries to vinu Shaka Harish Sant Raj and others friends from music we saw samit at his Core Music was an essential part of who he was vasu Vikram jibin and other friends

In the group we know he had good times beyond music with you through a terrible pandemic Your Love helped him through a most difficult time for him personally and professionally and he felt the love through extended family Ashish babby Auntie when she was here and whom he again reconnected with

Deeply before her passing Ashna and Aman he must have had ups and downs as in any family we know he still felt the love we know he felt the love through a fellowship at church that led to deep friendships to many to name here you know who you are and more important

Importantly that group helped him find his most profound love in beina and his precious children finally his own family to my friends of the youth we’ll find a way through this together to ADI and kti his pride in you sustained him through hard times in you he saw his greatest

Success you will always be a product of the love of two very special people from a hard life that your father might have had the two of you are already a most extraordinary outcome to be we know the love you felt for samit we know the grief you feel

Now as he saw you care for the kids and bring your toughness and resilience to raising and nurturing them I wonder if he felt all the more acutely what he had missed out on I also know he’s so proud of the kids and that he saw them as your accomplishment

We’re all proud of what you’ve done with the kids and with your life and you know we are with you in whatever comes next Pastor thank you so much for coming your presence here means so much to us that our friend is laid to rest with divine

Grace for me personally I’m fortunate to have a few very close friends more than one could ask for suit’s loss is irreplaceable for me as for many of us I’m going to hold dearly the shared memories of more than 30 years I know I’ll shed tears I also know

He’ll keep me laughing smiling and I wish each of us finds the same comfort as we put samit to rest today I’m determined that the love and kindness he sought to bring about despite everything that life threw his way lives on as you each remember him I request you

Rightly described through the tributes he was such a social person and who always liked to interact with people and his time with people was something that he always looked for and it’s so uh nice to see so many of his friends and family gathered here at this time to pay your

Homage and your last respects to your dear friend samit Singh and the life that he has lived even though it’s a short life it’s not an age that one should die it’s a very short life that he has lived but nevertheless As We Gather from the tributes from the way in

Which uh different tributes have been pouring in through the day we are able to see how uh he has been able to influence people through his sincerity through his love and that is something that we cherish today despite his health issues despite all his shortcomings his life was a blessing to his family

And his friends and we thank God that as you continue to cherish his memories that you continue to be thankful for the short life that he lived 48 years of his life in whatever capacity he has lived his life in this world he has been able to share his love

And give kindness and show kindness to people around him to show kindness to the people whom he knew and also so to those who deserved kindness and that is something that we thank God for as it has been brought out in the tributes today it’s a tragic loss for the dear

Family and we can only continue to pray Bina As you move forward in your life may God continue to guide you and strengthen you as you move forward continuing to remember all the good time that you had with your husband for all the good things that he was able to give

And share with you and all the good memories which you will continue to keep for the rest of your life it’s a long life ahead of you and we pray that God’s strength would be with you as you move forward and taking the responsibility of

Trauma to you both a loss which I think will take time for both of you to even accept even in the next coming days and the couple of weeks ahead of you it may be difficult for you to accept that your father is no more his presence although will be continuously

Missed by you will take time for you to overcome the lack of his presence will definitely be uh an AS for you to reconcile with but crian Adit we only pray that God will give you the strength he’s his life in this world is over we have to accept that whatever

Short life that he lived and whatever life you were able to share with your father that that is that is a blessing for you and when you move forward there will be instances in your life you will come across life situations where you will always wish that your father was there

With you those moments will come but when those moments come just be thankful for the wonderful life that he was able to give to you all and for the life that you were able to share with him you will continue to miss him that that cannot be

Changed and that should not be changed you should always miss him but at the time of Sorrow may your love for your father and the memories of your father may it be a strength for you and as you continue to remember him cherish him and his memories May the strengthen

You in your life as you move forward for his dear sister Sonia Daniel and the family who have come from near and far as you have lost your dear brother may God’s peace and comfort be with you at the sudden and tragic loss and particularly for all the friends and

Other and for all of us as a church and as a community the words of assurance from Paul’s letter to Corinthians CH 15: 12- 24 which was just read to us always comes as a way of hope there is always hope even in the midst of death even in the midst of

Sorrow even in the midst of loss there is always hope and that hope comes to us because we believe in a God who overcame death a God who gives us life and a God who also takes away life when our time is over and the greatest hope for us today is the affirmation

And the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and we thank God that suit not only lived his life as a wonderful parent father brother friend but also his life in the church has been shared in the faith community and sharing in a faith community sharing faith in a faith

Community as a church is a very very integral part for us and and one that’s also one of the reasons why we Gather in this manner to have a service to honor those who have lived their life in this world our faith teaches us that we need

To honor life and for someone who’s lived their life in this world and whose life is over in this world it is our bounding Duty that we honor their life and today even though it is a painful process for the family and friends to let go of their dear husband and

Father but to also have hope that in Christ there is fullness that there is comfort in the presence of God and that God’s presence always is there to comfort and guide us so Vina we leave you with that hope with that hope that God’s presence be with you always

And guide you kti and Adit we leave you with that same hope that God is your Good Shepherd your father Eternal Father and eternal mother being assured of God’s presence and for all of us who continue to honor the memories of our dearly departed suit Singh May the God grace of
