You you uh you often find yourself in in situation where although you want to be like I’m just going to sit and trust God the truth of it is it’s very difficult to just shut the hell up and sit back and just trust God in a situation right
It we say it all the time and we have to keep saying it we have to keep putting positive affirmations out there in order for it to become true right but it is a difficult thing when you going through hell and and the hell that we’re going
Through isn’t just about this P Valley litigation and you know what it has done to our family over the last three Christmases and holidays and years and right Christmas number three with this PE Valley hanging over our head um there’s a lot of other things um our
Family has faced like everybody else’s family has faced and it’s really just about not leaning into the terrible stuff that’s happening and really leaning into the blessings that we have because as bad as it is it could always be worse and I think that’s the message
That I have on my heart today to share with everybody out there just you know I know the is tough and trust me y’all y’all be thinking that because people be on TV not y’all be thinking but some people be thinking that because we are on television and because we have um you
Know we get dressed up and we go do shows and stuff like that that’s like a job like that’s what we do the same way everybody else gets up puts on their clothes you know do their hair and makeup our hair and makeup might be a little more done up than the average
Person that’s going to work but we’re going to work we’re going to work to feed our families we’re going to work to pay our bills we’re going to work you know and the difference is we often have to go to work and perform for people
With a lot of trauma and a lot of um stress and a lot of um negativity that is happening in our lives but we can’t bring that to the stage we can’t bring that energy to y’all we are supposed to be there to bring joy and to bring fun
And to bring light so I encourage all of us to just be easy with your essential workers in the entertainment industry because that’s what we are you know you see all this negative that’s going on and I’m not even going to I mean it’s
Like I’m my mind is blown at some of the things that I’ve heard but I have learned um if I wasn’t there to keep my mouth shut as much as you want to advocate for people the other thing I’ve learned is sometimes you advocate for people more than they want to advocate for
Themselves so you just have to keep your mouth shut um and I’ve really um learned that the more I advocate for myself and my family and the things that are going on in my world that I do know about and that I was there for and the more I can
Improve on my life and continue to just be grateful for what God has G ungrateful I got to call Aon back um and not ungrateful for um the things that I don’t have hold on one second just oh I don’t have the other phone let her know
But not ungrateful for the things that I don’t have but grateful for the things that I do have uh the more that I will bring positive energy not only to myself to my family but to other people and that’s what’s really important like sometimes God will not sometimes often
In my case God will bring you to your needs to make you pay attention and you just have to stay positive so that’s the moral of this long-winded ass rant you just have to stay positive you just have to keep no matter what is happening in your life no matter how negative things
May appear in the in the present moment you just have to keep repeating positive um affirmations to yourself This Too Shall Pass like yeah I’m in the Lion’s d but God has my back now that I know for sure without a doubt there’s no question about it when I say that it gets
Difficult sometime to really convince myself that I’m going get through this fire it does that’s just human but I’m faithful and my faith is is Rock Solid and I think what it is is I’m just impatient and I’m human but that’s where that no ego part comes in no easing god
Out no easing god out period and as long as that’s the place we’re coming from everything is going to be all right no matter what happens everything is going to be all right it’s something God wants me to learn in this Valley something the Lord wants me to learn in this Valley

To Tyler Perry I haven’t forgotten ch um when you go through a artist development process right I’m trying to get the sun on my face when you go through an artist development process it it’s not just about developing the artist skill like it’s not just about the artist learning
How to be a better singer a better dancer a better performer learning how to you know respond in interviews but you also go through a process of character building right I remember very very very specifically Jerry Greenberg who is my Jewish Uncle I’m sorry y’all um Jerry Greenberg I remember very very
Specifically um we got into it in New York City um it was we got into it into it in New York City while we were out there working on that album like this was the first like pushy pushy chest to chest moment that me and Maxi had and it
Was just so trivial and so silly and that’s my sister sister we never fought but that one time we had it out Maxi tell you about it was ABS absolutely hilarious because she was like I could I knew you were holding back because you
Didn’t want to hurt me I was like yeah I was holding back I was so mad and I never get physical I never get to the point of being I but it’s two maybe three times in my life one when I was younger one with maxi and one I don’t

Get to it so kids are going to be inspired by it so kids are going to be influenced by it and they don’t have the ability to differentiate between what is good and what is right and what is positive and what you should move forward in life to pursue and the

Crazy is the head of L not the one that I gave um this was another guy gave when Tyler was there and Tyler talked about and he demanded ownership of his intellectual and he said if then I have to have ownership in it Lions Gate EX
Like he I was like why came in and he demanded XY andz um basically before he had that that was worthy of having ownership right and with the same person financed Tyler Perry’s plays right that person came and met with me year that I went to Lion’s
Gate and P and said that he would finance my properties how successful it had been with Lion gate he is the person who funded me going to La my project gate my play his plays plays to be adapted into by Lion’s gate I was inspired by the fact before he talked about it
One of the scenes where he talks about and how he turned down one of those scenes I was in I was standing when he yeah is working on my live exactly they the reach always gets limited I saw but I was standing on stage with Tyler
The fact that he had turned places down because they wouldn’t allow him to have ownership allowed him you know successful and wealthy and do as much work as he’s been able to do right there when he said it understood the value of it pitched it to Lion’s
Gate just like my lawyer said in my CL truly believe that the reason gate did not take Soul Kitt Cabaret and develop it into a series they could go and hire cout and and she could go create the same story they could own that’s what I believe that is allegedly
That is happened and what’s so sad about is because I work with Tyler person who helped finance Tyler Perry same person who helped finance his shows one deck to finance doing Soul kin’s Cabaret series called curtains right and think about it when you’re talking about oh it’s so
Because they’re they had hundred million that was invested in that series versus us having probably less than 100 to do that play is just as capable as of giving you season after season show scripts sitting hot fasy scripts right to go and part of the hard for me to get them done because
