The story begins with monsters slowly disappearing with tentacles coming out of their mouths. One by one the monsters vaporize, as if their bodies just tear into space. The monsters don’t get smaller, they reappear again and again and attack the blonde cloaked man, the supposed hero.
They surround the hero and attack him directly at once. They have a human body. The hero forms a kind of ice shield, which stops the monsters from striking, and then moves the ice shield itself so that icicles emerge and plunge into the monsters’ bodies, thereby killing them. The clouds in the sky thicken.
Around the hero numerous monsters lie dead from the ice, monsters of different sizes. That one monster in mass can consist of five small and squishy monsters. However, not all monsters are exterminated. Another crowd of monsters stare at him greedily and high-handedly, calling him a mere human, asking who he is.
The hero says confidently, has he ever heard of such an apostle of justice, who fights against the evil that brings chaos, and that is he, Lucas Tromman, the strongest master of humanity with nine stars. The monsters resent how some man is going to stand up to them.
The hero thanks them for this battered phrase, he says. Then he says that people like him, after making their wishes come true, necessarily want to help the rest of the world as well, something to volunteer for. The monsters revolt at this man, according to them, and also a weakling, thinks he can
Defeat them. The hero soars into the sky and raises his hand. A circle of spells appears above his hand, in turn consisting of several circles and triangles connected by lines and unknown words in an incomprehensible spell language. The monsters, upon seeing this, become alert and frightened.
The hero looks at them and asks what’s wrong, and then he brings everything above him down on the monsters, causing lots of dust and smoke. He declares that people are by no means weak. Suddenly someone behind him calls his name and tells him that he is making a big deal out of himself.
Lucas Tromman turns around and sees a huge circle of bright light. He covers himself with his hands and does not understand what it is. He is struck by the light and begins to scream, a huge being a hundred times larger than the
Hero appears before him, saying that they are the law of this world, and those who oppose the turmoil of it, the demigod, those whom they, the people, consider a god and praise him. Lucas Tromman points the finger at him and says that he didn’t actually praise anyone.
The creature tells him that they can no longer watch him destroy the order and laws that have been built over time. Luke begins to laugh and asks what orders and laws he is talking about and let him not laugh, and asks how the world with orders can be like that.
He is told that his abilities are much more developed than those of other people, but that still a man is always only a man. After these words, he extends his hand to him, with a golden eye in the palm of his hand. Lucas is startled and begins to look around.
Abruptly his hands grab him and squeeze him in the palm of their hands. Then abruptly small hands begin to crawl over his head. He calls for mana, but then realizes that the mana is not concentrated.
He is told and read that the sin of opposing a god is not permitted to man and is a mortal sin. He keeps coming closer and closer to the great light, like an eyeball. He is told to make friends with the impenetrable darkness within the abyss, but never to trust
It, to suspect it, to suspect it, and to keep doubting it. Eventually he will begin to suspect himself. Let him return to the void, make friends with endless suffering, and regret his existence. This is the punishment he gives to a man who has defied god.
In the present tense, some guy is thrown against a wall that he hits his back. He is kicked by a big, heavy man and asks if he thinks that they are some poor people, why he is the one carrying around some pennies, and that it seems that the financial condition
Of the three sons of the noble Blake family is not very good. The guy who was kicked is coughing heavily, and his mouth is bleeding. The other guy with red hair smirks, saying that, well, yes, the fact that he is the third
Son of the Blake family doesn’t change anything, and that unlike his successful brothers, he is just an inept man, and he likes that about him anyway. Red grabs him by the hair, which he screams in pain. He goes on to say, while the other two just stand there and watch the situation, that
It is not enough that he is a disgrace to his family, but that he has been getting all the hate since the Academy was founded as its most important mediocrity, but he is still not dead. Carrot Top leans toward him and says horrible words, that if you were him, he would have
Died a long time ago. The guy looks boldly at the redhead, to which the burly man says he’s just pouncing. The redhead smiles and fists him in the jaw and says the good thing is that no matter
How much he hits him, he never gets tired of it, so it’s just perfect for him. He gives him a second punch, he goes down, then he picks him up and pushes him toward the other heavy man.
He kicks the blonde, and he falls to the ground and curled up, begging them to stop. Carrot Top tells him that there’s a magic class tomorrow afternoon, and that he’s rumored to be paired with him, so don’t let him worry, because he won’t overdo it.
After all, he knows the ginger guy is kind, but for that, he’ll make sure he remembers this day for the rest of his life, because as of tomorrow he won’t be able to walk on his feet.
They leave and yell at him not to hang around and hurry home because he needs a good night’s sleep so he can have fun with them tomorrow, and that he likes hitting him so much that it’s so perfect. The blonde man clenches his fist, trembles and starts coughing. He can’t get up.
He wants to get strong. Abruptly we are transported back to Lucas’s time. He opens his eyes, still trapped in these hands, and feels that he seems to have heard something. He looks to one side, then to the other and sees only incomprehensible things and thinks
They are hallucinations, and then adds that it is not surprising because you can go crazy here. Lucas wonders how much time he has spent among these corpses. He assumes at first that hundreds, and then says that probably not, even thousands of years.
He sighs heavily, looks up at the gloomy and fearful sky and calls to God. He wonders again if this is what fear is. He hears words again about wanting to become strong. He says that maybe it’s not auditory hallucinations, but his own consciousness talking to him,
And he didn’t know, didn’t know that he was such a weak and insignificant person. We return to real time. The poor man, who was lying on the pavement and wanted to become strong, now appears before his father and interrogates his decision. The father sits on a throne in a huge room.
The boy asks what it is that he, the father, has just said. The father says menacingly that he has told him to disappear from his life. Moreover, he cannot allow him to constantly undermine the honor and authority of their family.
The boy looks at him in surprise at first, and then he lowers his head in despair as he sits on his knees in front of him. The boy begins to say that being weak is such a serious sin, and his father interrupts him and says that this is enough.
Moreover, he has no right to answer this question. He gets up and walks down from the throne. He goes on in the process to say that the Blake family does not allow those who cannot become strong. He calls his son by his first name.
His name is Frey, and says that he is not going to acknowledge his existence, so he is nobody to him anymore. The father walks on past him after these words, tears streaming from Frey’s eyes. Next we are shown Frey’s house, a wooden house, inside a closet with many books.
On the wall hangs various diagrams of planets and spells. On his desk there are also many books, notebooks and all the stationery, and a framed photo of him with shorter hair. He stands at the window and holds in his hands. He looks at them for a long time, his hands trembling with fear.
He wonders if death is indeed frightening. In another time Lucas opens his eyes again and still hears the words for him to doubt, doubt and doubt again. He opens his eyes wide and again sees that being who says that in the end he will doubt his own existence.
Abruptly and unexpectedly Lucas shouts him to shut up. He rips himself out of these hands, saying in parallel what kind of God he is, what orders and laws does he really approve of such an absurd world. Then he says, more calmly, that it is good that he understood.
He understood why this world is so ugly and he saw the one who brought him to this state. And then he shouts that this is exactly why he must never give up. He shouts to this demigod that if he could experience such a life, he would gladly endure this hell.
In another world in the present tense, the crying Frey is coughing, bleeding from his mouth. Lucas is alarmed and does not understand what it is. He feels Frey take hold of his stomach and talk and again about death and that he had better be dead.
Lucas screams who it is that has entered his mind. He listens intently to the thoughts of Frey, who says that he does not blame anyone and that the bird without wings is doomed to die, as nature intended. Lucas comes into shock at such thoughts.
Frey continues his thoughts, that it’s all his fault, that it’s his fault he wasn’t born with wings, it’s his fault he can’t get stronger. Frey falls to the floor. A thought flashes through his mind, is it all true?
He remembers people saying and cursing at him that he was a dirty stain on the Blake family, a disgrace to West Road Academy. So why does he even live and that if he were a redhead, he would have died a long time ago.
Frey falls right in front of Lucas, who does not understand and takes it all in his stride and asks who he is to judge him. Suddenly the hands, which he calls the seal, put him down, he does not understand what is happening.
The moment this child entered his consciousness, he thought he was illuminated by the warm sun, he sees Frey in tears and blood. He puts his hand to his head and wonders who he is. Frey slowly loses consciousness, closing his eyes, he thinks that if he can be reborn again,
Then by all means, he is going to push off the ground with both feet, fly to the highest point in the world and look down on the whole world with his eyes. These are his biggest and strongest wings. Before him appears a strong and confident Lucas.
Suddenly Lucas wakes up in Frey’s body in his room and looks at his hands in shock. All of his scratches and wounds heal quickly, and he is on his feet. He says he’s back, finally, four thousand years. It’s been quite a while.
He thinks of the dead Frey Blake, who was the weakest man on earth, and he is Lucas Tromman, now the strongest wizard in the world. He puts his hair down, he walks to the window, reflecting that from now on he is Frey, and
Frey is him, he has given him freedom, and he will give him wings. He slides the curtains closed and sees a starry sky. He leans against the window sill, points his finger at the glowing moon, and tells the demigod that he calls himself god.
Just let him wait a while, and then he will eat him up in one bite and soon pay him a visit. At night, in the midst of the house outside, Lucas trains his strength. A pleasant blue energy emanates from him, similar to air with fire.
He ponders that with Frey’s current body he cannot fully control his power. First of all it is worth replenishing the energy. Also it is necessary to lay the foundation for mana assimilation. He clenches his teeth. He thinks that in order to fight the demigods, he must regain his former strength as soon
As possible, and then says that no, he must become even more powerful. He recalls a past life of being punished by these demigods. He calms down and says he shouldn’t be greedy, because he got this chance after waiting four
Thousand years, so he tells himself to put aside his recklessness and tame his anger, now he must do everything in his power. The sun has already risen, he is still training outside, more powerful energy is emanating from him. He thinks that with these he has reached the level of five stars.
Suddenly he begins to vomit an unknown purple liquid, after which he begins to cough heavily. He realizes that it is toxins that have accumulated in Frey’s body and mind for years. He decides that he must purge himself completely so that there is nothing left.
He uses all of his power and magic and painfully continues to cleanse himself of the toxins in Frey’s body and mind. Meanwhile, at the academy, the students are on their way to school. The big guy over there calls the guy with the red hair David and asks why he’s here so early.
He says hello to the guy named Jack, who says he’s early because he’s looking forward to today’s sparring matches. Jack asks if it’s not to blow Frey to smithereens once again, let him be more careful, or they won’t have another opportunity to beat him.
He laughs and asks if he thinks he has a live one on him after the way he beat him yesterday. Jack says he saw him in the infirmary the other day, that he grabbed a can of sleeping pills and escaped after that.
He asks for more details, he replies that he seems to have finally decided to kill himself, the other says that he will definitely succeed in that. He disagrees and offers to bet, he agrees for 10 food stamps. Meanwhile, Lucas and Frey’s body continues to purge. He is already breathing heavily and coughing.
He no longer realizes how much he has already vomited. He decides to look around and check, after which he is shocked because the whole place is covered in blood. He wonders if this weight came out of his teenage body.
He looks up, looks at the school, and says with pity that he seems to have been through a lot, though not as much as he himself. Then he notices just how hungry he is. In the cafeteria at West Road Academy, all the students look back at Frey in shock because
He is eating plate after plate. They wonder what’s wrong with him, if he hasn’t eaten in a week. Frey continues to eat appetizingly, saying in parallel how delicious it is, that it is just incredible, that it is a gastronomic masterpiece, how this soup can be so good.
He continues to eat very appetizingly, calling attention to his classmates. He says that it is just super, after all, after 4000 years anything will taste great. Meanwhile, the others wonder if it’s really Frey Blake, because it’s just unthinkable. Frey screams that the food just melts in his mouth.
He walks down the hall and gets frustrated that he has to mess around with these teenagers at his advanced age. He can’t believe it and thinks it must all be a joke. He looks around and thinks there’s nothing he can do about it, after all, Frey is 4000
Years old, so he has to figure out how this world works, so he shouldn’t rush. He stops at the door, closes his eyes, remembers the demigod, then opens his eyes and exhales. He opens the door and walks in, everyone looks at him, and then David yells that of course
He didn’t, so he won 10 food stamps. Jack gets upset and says he can’t even kill himself properly. David yells that didn’t he say he should be a little more intelligent. Jack just curses and says how pissed he is. Lucas does not understand what is going on.
He wanted to do already, but he stops at the foot of David, sitting next to him in the chair. Lucas looks at him in incomprehension. David tells him that he has finally arrived, and then calls him his friend. Frey does not understand why it is David who calls him his friend.
They cross each other’s eyes, suddenly he feels someone put their hand on his head. It is Jack who tells him to give him 10 food stamps, and he waves his palm in front of him and says that it is because of him that he lost his stamps, so he must pay for it.
Frey ponders what it is he is trying to hit him over the head. He asks himself if he is a friend, then immediately comes to the answer that it is definitely not. In any era you can find such people who are always.
Jack pinches and pulls on his cheek, suddenly Frey begins to realize that he is shaking. He wonders who he is that his body is shaking because of this man. Jack swings his arm and yells at him that he told him to give him his food stamps, and
He punches him, but misses, shocking not only himself but all the people in the room. Some girl asks what it was, wasn’t Frey just standing in front of Jack, another confirms it, asking if she wasn’t the only one who saw it.
To Frey comes the realization that these are the very people who are trying to make Frey give up on life. Jack gets up and starts talking about his look and swings again sharply with a punch. Frey’s hands begin to activate with force, eventually Jack pushes away from him and falls
On his back, breaking everything in his path with himself. There are scratches on his face, bleeding. The people in the room are in shock, they don’t understand how the con could have flown off so easily, how he did it, and that Jack lost consciousness.
Lucas, that is, Frey looks at Jack for a long time, and then thinks that it is so embarrassing what he has just done to the child. Then he convinces himself to think of it as a special favor from Lucas, the strongest archmage of mankind.
Suddenly he lets out a short chuckle and walks over to Jack. David is left sitting there with his mouth hanging open and reasoning. Is it really Frey? It’s impossible that a weak man like him could do this. Everyone cools down in shock with their mouths open.
One girl with red hair begins to blush. Suddenly an important man walks into the room asking what all the fuss is about. It is Professor Dio, an older man with wrinkles and one lens in his eye. Everyone begins to say that Jack has suddenly fallen, and that he is not moving.
The professor, too, comes to his shock, bends over and sees that Jack’s body has traces of mana use on it. He stands up and looks around, thinking that none of the professors have the ability to use such a skill. Who would have thought of that?
One of the teachers says that while Professor Dio has gone to take care of Jack, he, Professor Kevin, will be in charge of this class, and that Jack is just unconscious and there is no immediate threat to his life, since he will be awake by the evening.
They don’t need to worry about him. The professor looks at the female students one by one and thinks that the air in this classroom is really delightful, all because there are so many girl cadets in this room. It’s a nasty old professor with half a bald head.
He looks at that red-haired girl named Isabella. He finds her particularly charming. He turns his gaze to Frey and is confused. In class, the girls start chatting. One says she really hates Professor Kevin. She calls him a lecherous pig who hits on the younger students.
The other shuts her up, asking her not to draw attention to herself or he might notice her too. Professor Kevin walks up to Frey’s desk and asks him what happened that he even came to class today.
He looks at Frey with a smirk and he analyses him, saying that he would rate Frey as an accomplished bookworm based on his skinny figure, but, after that he sighs, which makes the professor look surprised and call him a juvenile bully.
Frey folds his arms and apologizes to the professor and says he is very busy. The latter is even more surprised by his answer. Behind the girls say how nasty he is and that he didn’t show up for class because the professor is too annoying.
Professor Kevin asks, just like that, does he mean to say that he has better things to do than his class? He smiles and replies that of course he does, after all, he is now at the peak of his youth.
The class starts laughing and asking what he just said, the other one tells them not to laugh or they’ll get in trouble. The professor laughs nervously and says that, of course, he is at the peak of his youth now, except that he doesn’t think his class is at all unimportant. So student Frey.
The class got excited and started saying he was in big trouble now, that poor guy. The professor asks, he has, after all, advanced his academic knowledge, so let him let him ask some questions, but if he happens to fail to answer any of his questions, he, as a student
At West Road Academy, will have to admit his defiant behavior. Then he asks the first question, asking him to list the three main weapons of the evil warrior King Kasajan. Frey comes in surprised and asks the professor what he just said, did he really say about Kasajan?
We are shown the events of four thousand years ago, amidst the vegetation, nature, forests and mountains, a man is standing on a cliff and looking down. His hair is gathered into a ponytail with a tight rope. He opens his palms, from which a warm, sunny energy emanates.
He sharply clenches his fist, as if to gather all the energy into himself. Then we are already shown his whole body, which is very pumped up and strong. He hits the air, almost without moving, that all this force makes a huge path for him among the thick of the forest.
This force reaches up to the mountains and just rips him to shreds, which forms a huge hole in front of him. He sighs, as if calming down. Lucas appears behind him and tells him to calm down, otherwise there will be nothing left of the mountains at all.
Does he want to leave all the local animals here to starve as soon as he destroys their homes? He turns to him and calls his name, who in turn says that they have not seen each other for a long time, after which he calls him by his name, Casigen.
After a while outside, but already in a residential area, Casigen still continues to train, and Lucas follows him in a very bored manner. Finally he asks Riley if he is really going to keep training when he finally meets his old friend after all these years.
He replies that Lucas can have tea, so let him feel free. Lucas sighs, calls his comrade ignorant, and that he knows nothing but training, so there is no way he is getting married. He sighs wearily and says that a woman’s heart is as impossible to understand as yours.
He is indignant and cries out, what do you mean, what is wrong with him, he has no problems whatsoever. Casigen says that love for women has the sinister purpose of destroying one’s self-control. He approaches Lucas, leans toward him, and says that desires for an indomitable man make
Him unable to stand on his own two feet. Lucas says okay, he gets it, and that his ears are about to wilt from his speeches, so let him get away from him, because he’s all sweaty.
The comrade stands up and says that warriors should be as still as a rock in front of women, and then asks if that’s not true of mages, and then calls Lucas Troman’s name in full, calling him archmage.
Suddenly Lucas says that if he were a girl, he would date a rock if it turned out to be pretty enough. Casigen asks him to just drink the damn tea. Back to the present tense, Frey resents that the evil warrior king Casigen seems to have really excelled in life.
That 4000 years later he has become a celebrity. He calls him the kind of man who knows nothing but training. The professor sees him give into emotion and asks what happened to him, can’t he answer that question. The class starts whispering that it looks like he is caught.
Someone wonders how they can know something that isn’t even in the textbooks, and that professor Kevin is using him to brag about his knowledge. There, the girl with the red hair stands up abruptly, apologizes to the professor, and says that she thinks the question has nothing to do with their magic class.
The class whispers even more, wondering why she, Isabel, is acting this way. Even Frey turns to her and wonders what she is doing. She is pretty, but she speaks in such a military tone. Isabel says Casigen was a true warrior. He only used mana to help himself during training.
Can he then be considered a mage? The professor begins to take it upstairs and says that Isabel is right that Casigen is not a magician. He then comes close to her, calls her cadet Isabel, and asks if she wants to offend those who follow the path of the magical warrior.
Isabel confidently replies that she believes this is not the point of their conversation. Everyone in the class turns to her in shock. Lucas also turns his head back captures the essence of what he says is an insult. Then he remembers Casigen said in anger that he was not a mage. But a warrior?
Did Lucas then try to insult him? He thinks that the real Casigen would kill him if he called him a magical warrior. It’s so funny to him. Suddenly the professor says that it looks like it will be quite an amusing discussion,
Whereupon he leans close to her, puts his hand on her shoulder and asks how she feels about it. If she wants to continue the discussion in his office, just the two of them. Isabel throws his arm rudely aside and shouts why he is acting this way.
The professor stares at his rejected hand in a stupor. He already says ominously that at first he thought she wasn’t like that at all, but she has no manners to talk about it. The girl is frightened.
He puts his hand on Isabel’s desk and asks her then to answer him one question, to name his three chosen weapons of the magical warrior. Then he is interrupted by the answer that they are the gloves of King Ho, the belt of the giant and the necklace of the storm.
The professor turns around at the sound and sees Frey quite and confidently say that Casigen used nothing but these three items. He goes on to say that he didn’t listen to him when he told him to be a little more fashionable, especially the necklace.
He says that it was ugly, which he wore everywhere, after which he frowns. Everyone looked at him with their mouths open. He himself, of course, doesn’t understand what’s wrong, so he asks what’s wrong, if he got it wrong. The professor says it’s the right answer and Frey rejoices and shouts that, of course,
He couldn’t have gotten it wrong. Everyone around him has begun to suspect, isn’t Frey acting a little strange that day, and others agree that he is indeed strange. But then the professor tells Isabel that she doesn’t seem to know the rules of class behaviour
At all, then sharply grabs her arm and tells her that she must go to his office immediately. Isabel’s face cools in horror. Frey looks angrily at this situation. He suddenly begins to say. Did the professor know that Casigen always had a habit of saying something, and he always
Said that love for women has a sinister design that destroys one’s self control? In addition, he argued that a warrior must be as still as a rock when approaching women, because this desire for an indomitable man makes him unable to stand on his own two feet,
One who fails in these aspects is no better than an animal. The professor stiffens at first, and then asks and what, exactly, is the meaning of his words? To which Frey replies that yes so he is just talking about it.
Perhaps Casigen was a little wrong about these aspects, for he, that is, Professor Kevin, stands perfectly on his own two feet. There is a sepulchral silence, after which the name of Frey Blake is shouted. The boys watch the situation fearfully, and Isabel looks admiringly at Frey.
The professor tells Frey if he has lost his mind by answering one pathetic question, then he offers to see how far his troubled personality will take him. As he has said before, if he gets any of the questions wrong, he will have to take responsibility as an academy cadet.
He then announces the next question. Professor Kevin looks at Frey with his mouth hanging open in shock, sweat streaming down his face. The others sit with exactly the same reaction, especially David and Isabella. One Frey sits up confidently and contentedly as if to defy him.
The professor backs up and rests his hands on his desk because Frey has given another correct answer. He doesn’t believe it. He thinks it’s impossible because even the professors at this academy don’t know the history of the Age of Light. Is this really the worst student at Frey Blake Academy?
Suddenly his thoughts are interrupted by Frey saying it’s lunchtime. He gets up from his seat and turns to the professor, asking if he has any more questions for him. Solving problems is fun, of course, but he’s hungry.
He is still shocked at how a young boy can know the history of 4,000 years ago in detail. He trembles all over, not knowing how to answer or what to do, but then he bows his head down and answers with a trembling voice that this is enough.
Frey happily runs, shouting that it’s a great job and in anticipation of the food. The professor is still thinking hard and trembling. Isabella looks at the professor. After a while outside, Frey, humming to himself about food and goodies, walks toward the dining hall. Isabella follows him.
Suddenly she asks him if he is going to lunch. Frey turns around, looks at her indifferently, considers her appearance and turns away. Isabella is surprised that he is ignoring her. She decides to just follow him. Step by step, step by step she continues to follow him, getting closer and closer to him.
As a result, Frey rubs his face in despair, turns to her and asks her why she is following him. Isabella calmly says that the girl is also on her way to lunch this way. Frey next asks why she speaks in such a manner, it is strange.
She replies that it is a family custom and asks him to understand it. Then a table is already set up in the academy dining room. Fish, soups, eggs, sausages, potatoes, mushrooms, and all sorts of vegetables and herbs. Isabella sits next to Frey and wonders how much, if he can really handle everything alone.
Frey says that if you starve for 4000 years, you will worship every meal, after which he wishes you a pleasant appetite. Isabella asks what 4000 years he is talking about and what he means. He bites down on the meat and says with a stuffy mouth that he knows nothing.
So why does she keep pestering the very hungry man? Isabella tells him not to misunderstand her, she just hasn’t found the right place to sit down. She carefully eats the sausages with her fork and knife, dividing them carefully in bite-sized pieces, as befits etiquette.
She asks him how he knows the history of the era of light. He asks about the era of light. She answers that 4000 years ago began the era of the four greatest people. It is so called because they were the greatest magicians in history. Did he not know?
He looks at it first, chewing his food, telling himself to just take a breath. He swallows whatever is in his mouth and thinks that 4000 years have passed and magical development has only degenerated. He wonders if it is the work of those demigods.
Isabella goes on to talk about the four greatest men who have become luminaries in the history of magic, the greatest warrior Kassajan, the sage Shuhei Weisman, the black witch Iris Fisben, and, finally, the strongest mage, who is the girl’s idol, is Luke Tromman. Frey freezes in surprise.
She goes on to say that he was a really great man, if he were alive, surely the girl would have asked him to marry her. Frey starts coughing and laughing. Isabella asks why he is laughing, and he says that he is still wet on the lips, and she is already getting married.
She blushes and asks indignantly how he can talk like that. He thanks her and tells her that the older brother, that is him, is not interested in children. She blushes even more and says that he is rude when she asked him to marry her.
The people around them say what strange company this is and since when does Isabella have lunch with Frey. Another asks if they have seen Isabella following him. A third is angry and asks if this is the same smug maiden who recently competed for the
Top spots in the academy, and that even David has been repeatedly rejected by her. Another shuts him up because David himself appears. He stands with a tray of food and looks at them angrily. They begin to excuse themselves with a shaky voice that they did not mean it at all, and
Then run away. David sees Isabella blushing and embarrassed as Frey speaks and becomes enraged, saying that this guy is irritating him beyond belief today. Meanwhile, Isabella speaks again about that last question Professor Kevin asked, while Frey himself is munching on food. She continues to talk about Sage Shuhei’s three lines of research.
He only listens to her very inattentively. Isabelle says that he answered the question as assimilation, evolution, and conflictology, and that she had only known two areas of Sage Shuhei’s research until that day assimilation and evolution.
He gets up and tells him if he can tell her about the latest study, what it is, he stacks the plates and asks what her developmental level is now, she answers that she is at three star level. Frey says three stars is pretty good for her age.
She says that for the umpteenth time she notices that he speaks like a man who has lived a long life. He calmly agrees that a long life, a disgustingly long one. Isabelle asks him if he and he are not the same age, and he answers ambiguously that maybe they are, maybe they aren’t.
She asks what he is talking about. He wipes his mouth with his sleeve, leans back in his chair, sighs, and says with satisfaction that he’s had enough. She gets up and wonders if he has finished everything. Frey gets up, takes the plates and tells her that she is eating too slowly.
She asks him to wait and says that he never answered her question about what the essence of conflict studies is. He just tells her to read books, because he is strong and not theory, so he can be biased. Isabelle immediately realizes that something is wrong. She speaks aloud not about theory, but experience.
She looks after him and confidently says that Frey has surely been switched, because he does not look like himself. In the large circular arena, one of the teachers announces that today they will be practicing magic with a one-on-one battle, and to keep things fair, only level one magic is allowed.
David mutters in his head that it will finally happen and looks disdainfully at Isabelle pestering Frey with her questions. She asks again what his conflict is then. David doesn’t understand why she is talking to Frey. The woman tells everyone that the rest will be like a real battle.
Even if they are wounded, all responsibility will be on themselves, so she asks them to fight as if it were a real battle. Frey says something about this woman. Isabelle says she is Professor Yeon, who blushes and says she is beautiful.
She cries out in surprise, wondering if he is in his right mind, saying such obscenities about a professor who is over 40. Does he really mean it now? He only says with a smile that she is beautiful and that Isabelle should learn from her too. He says it’s what’s called perfect feminine beauty.
Ta says he just seems to have a penchant for older women. Professor Yeon announces the first fight, Cadet David versus Cadet Frey. Both cadets look into each other’s eyes. David smiles, takes a step and asks how he feels, calling him friend. He thought he was going to die without waiting.
He holds out his hand and says he was waiting so hard yesterday he couldn’t even sleep. But then Frey just walks abruptly and quickly past him and is behind him. Everyone in the arena is shocked and embarrassed because Frey walks up to the professor, takes
Her hands and hugs her, saying that he has been immersed in sleep for a long time, and now he finds out the reason for his awakening. The professor is shocked by Frey’s cadet. Frey goes on to say that it was all about meeting her. He asks her not to worry.
Even if he looks like that, at heart he is still very young, what will she say? Isabelle alone sits there with a face like she’s going to throw up, not understanding what he’s talking about. Professor Rhetor, Frey tells her if she wants to share a meal with him tonight, she stands
Up, embarrassed, and with hesitation tells him to go back to her seat, and that she is only giving him one warning. He then asks for a deal that if he wins this fight, she will treat him to dinner. People in the arena are already openly saying that he’s crazy, some have already thrown
Up. Another shouts for him not to make them laugh, does he, who can barely use the magic of one star, say that he will defeat David, who has three stars. Professor Yeon agrees and says that if he wins, she will treat him to dinner.
He returns to his seat, saying that she has promised. As soon as he turns away, Professor Yeon’s legs begin to buckle that she can barely stand, blushing and breathing heavily from such pressure. She coaxes herself, what on earth is she doing?
You can’t do that, let her come to her senses, you can’t have her heart fluttering over such a young guy. David asks if Frey is crazy, he didn’t know he liked that, or if he asked her to cancel the fight, Frey warms up and asks why he should cancel.
David is already beginning to suspect that something is wrong and says that he seems to have slept it off last night, still doesn’t understand the situation he is in, so let him listen carefully, that he will first rip his vocal cords from Frey and then slowly, one by one, give him painful blows.
He can neither scream nor fight back, and that it will be great fun. He listens indifferently, picking his nose. David points his index finger at him and asks for he has already said that this day will be his last day walking on his own two feet.
Frey talks about what he thinks, with one star magic he can’t do that kind of damage. He says confidently that he’s David, and that he’ll see it yet. Professor Yeon announces the start of the fight, the whole crowd starts screaming.
David casts some kind of stone fury spell, the ground shakes, chunks of stones come out and form a single star shape. Everyone in the arena is surprised and alarmed, as if it were a very frightening thing, is he really determined to use it?
One of the guys rather stands with his arms crossed and Isable doesn’t understand how it is, then she turns to Professor Yeon and asks if she didn’t say that only first level magic can be used. She replies that he is not breaking the rules, she indignantly asks how he is not breaking
The rules. David says that this is a secret technique passed only within his family, although it is strong. If all the conditions are met, it can also be used by a mage of the first level. Frey says that the secret technique is the same as the symbol of the family, and he uses
It to fight his cadet. The latter playfully asks, well, isn’t he frightened? He spreads out his hands and says that he wasn’t really scared. A ball appears above his palm, which he calls a magic rocket. The others are as surprised by his skill as David’s.
Frey looks at the orb and says it’s good, and that it’s a pretty bright color. David starts laughing out loud when he sees the magic rocket, does he really want to use it to leave his stone rage? Yes, this magic is so simple that even someone like Frey can use it.
Frey, without a word, simply pushes this ball toward David with his fingers. This little ball goes through all the pieces of stone and hits right into David’s chest, that he leans back and falls on his back, all shivering and unconscious, foam coming out of his mouth.
Everyone is shocked and watching the situation with their mouths open. Professor Jiaying has her hand over her mouth and is also looking at Frey without looking away. David is lying on the floor, the ball hit in his throat, making him unable to speak but only squeaking.
Tears flow from his eyes, snot from his nose and foam from his mouth. He realizes that he has lost his voice, someone in the arena says how noisy it is. The guy next to him says it’s C-grade magic combat practice, and that guy is pressing his fist against a rock.
Frey tells David that he should be ashamed of using secret techniques for such a thing. He still squeaks, and Frey goes on to say that he is tarnishing the family’s reputation. He looks at Frey in awe. Frey asks with a smirk, so what was he saying there before, after vocalizing, then he pretends
To remember, and says, right, beat him, right. The magical missile reappears over his palm. David can’t speak, he mentally begs him to stop and forgive him, and that he was wrong, he just begs him, but he realizes that with his voice he can’t say at all.
Frey launches a balloon at him, it hits him in one leg, he wants to scream in pain, but there’s no way he can do it. Frey gets closer and closer to him, David gives him the sign to stop with one hand.
Frey angrily asks what’s the matter with him, he chose this scenario himself, doesn’t he like it. Isabella is horrified and says that this is too much and asks Professor Yeehan to stop the fight, since the winner has already been decided. She replies that he has not yet announced that he is surrendering.
Isabella begins to say that she has no voice, but the professor interrupts her, calls her Isabella and repeats his words that the opponents should fight as if it were a real fight. She tells us that the path of a master of magic is a path that cannot be traveled.
Relying on hiccups in a dangerous situation, Isabella shuts up and lowers her eyes. Meanwhile, Frey continues the fight, saying that he, David, was so pleased when he used his magic on him, but that he doesn’t seem to like the victim role and that the world
Is getting worse because of people like him calling themselves magicians. He says that he should never do it again and that it would be much better for society. David backs away in fear, Frey leans toward him and says with a smile that he is joking
And that he did not think he would really fight to the end. He knows that Frey is kind, he calls him pathetic, and that perhaps only his legs would be enough. David drops his head in relief and sighs.
Frey notices this, turns back to him and says that there are two legs, after which he uses the magic rocket again, raises his palm along with the magic. David in terror begins to fidget and waving his arms, trying to shout, but he only makes squeaks.
The two, one of whom was talking about the noise, discuss what seems to be Frey from freshman year. They wonder who it is and that this guy is pretty good. The blonde guy with the blue eyes takes a long look at the arena, turns away, and the two of them walk away.
All the cadets are discussing what happened. They are shocked that a guy like Frey could beat David. Have they heard the news yet? One tells them that their classmates saw it in person. David’s leg is broken, so they sent him home. Could he become a wizard after that?
Some say that he deserved it. Honestly, he was pretty nasty, that David, and that the atmosphere at the academy is nicer now. Someone wonders how this Frey was able to beat him, what really happened, his friend asks him to watch, because here comes Frey. Everyone stands back.
Frey walks in the middle, they assume he made a deal with the devil. The guy the blue-eyed blonde guy was sitting with comes up to him and asks if he’s Frey Blake. Frey asks who he is. The guy replies that he’s a fourth-year student and that his name is Dauman Milost.
Frey says this means that Dauman is his sonby, that is, his senior. Suddenly he holds out his hand and asks him to join the Trauman Brotherhood. He asks him about the Trauman, and he says that since he is a student at their academy,
He must have heard of them, a group of students who represent the academy, and that they are the Trauman fraternity. He warns that not everyone gets the chance to be one of them. Only those who have been chosen by them can join.
He shows his hand and says something of a runic ring that confirms membership in the Brotherhood, and that isn’t that cool. He goes on to praise that the finish is personally made by a craftsman, and that it is real gold, and if you bite into it, there are dents in it.
Frey wonders what it was called when they use someone else’s name however they want. He’s tired of hearing him say that if he has this ring, after graduation he can do whatever he wants. In a word, he won’t have to worry about sustenance.
Frey remembers, that’s right, he doesn’t have a lineage right now, after all. And he goes on and on, saying that this is not all, let it not fall, but that the Brotherhood of Trauman is led by none other than. He does not finish, as Frey turns away and briefly declares that he refuses.
He’s shocked, he asks if he’s in his right mind, because this is the Brotherhood of the Trojans. He is interrupted and told that he doesn’t seem to be the type to be enticed by it. That blonde man’s name is Pierre June. They call him Sir.
Frey turns to him and sees Dom and Beau to him. Frey and Pierre collide with each other. Pierre approaches Frey and asks, after all, they are just seeing each other for the first time. He then introduces himself as the head of the Brotherhood of Trojans, Pierre June.
Pierre June apologises for Dom and Beau, but he actually supports his desire to see him in tromine rings. Frey thinks about it and comes to the conclusion that although he is young, he is at a good level.
Then he waves his hands and says he doesn’t want it, so what will he become if he joins there. He turns away and leaves, saying he won’t take anything from them, so he suggests we live amicably. Dauman begins to get annoyed, saying that he is impertinent.
He begins to boil over, but Pierre stops him with one look. In the evening, guests gather, and the table is set very richly. Professor Ian sits at the table and says that since she promised, she is treating him to dinner. But why is there suddenly one more mouth to feed?
They are not sitting alone, with Isabella next to them. Frey is not pleased either. He tells her that see, he told her to leave, so let her put her fork on the table instead of shoving it in her mouth.
Isabella modestly says that they can ignore her, because that’s not why she came here. Frey is trembling with anger. He gets up and tells her to get out of here already, and that she needs to understand at least a little bit what situation she is in.
She replies that she couldn’t find any information related to that battle anywhere, so what will they order her to do if they don’t tell her anything either. She has no choice but to follow them until they tell her everything. Then the professor intervenes and asks if she is talking about the Casagen training
Method. Isabella is surprised and asks if she knows about it too. She replies that she heard a little about it at a scientific conference of mages, but no matter how much she searched among the manuscripts she could never learn anything.
However, she says that Frey knows it, and if this is not just bragging, she would love to hear it too. Frey finishes his drink, stands up from the table, puts his arm around her shoulders, and tells her he can tell her something even better.
The professor blushes, he continues to say sweet words, and she doesn’t understand what it is with her. A student who is more than 20 years younger than her, it feels like her head and heart are working separately. Suddenly Isabella slams her fist on the table that those two shudder in fright.
The girl screams, how can he do such a nasty thing to the teacher. Frey already asks her irritably if she is going to leave already. The professor turns his head away, blushing more and more. Frey stands at the railing on a starry night and thinks intensely about something.
Strange, if now a demigod rules this world. Considering that they were an eyesore for him, he thought that traces and reminders of them completely disappeared. But even after 4000 years he, Cassagen, Shuhei, Iris, information about them all remained unchanged. How it happened, maybe even now there are those who fight in their name.
Isabella comes up to him, and he first starts a conversation saying that he would like to ask her something about who is the strongest in this academy. She hesitates and replies that he sounds just like a kindergartener. Thoth says never mind. So who is the strongest among all, counting cadets and faculty?
Who is it? She shakes her head and says that he still hasn’t answered her question. He says that if she tells her, he will. She is delighted and immediately answers that Pierre-June is the strongest of the students, and Professor Dio Pulsman and Professor Adelia are the strongest of the teachers, but that
Her aunt is the strongest. He asks her about her aunt. Ian approaches them and says that Isabelle’s aunt is the director of West Road Academy, Cerais Trisnane. She is a six-star mage that everyone in the kingdom calls eternal ice. He is surprised when he hears about six stars.
Thoth goes on to say that it is rumored that magicians can theoretically reach nine stars, but that the last person to reach that level lived about 3000 years ago. There is a lot of speculation as to whether or not this is true, so eight stars is considered the limit for a mage.
But even mages with eight stars are less than ten around the world, so nine stars can just be considered a legend. That magic that protects the academy, a kind of dome around the building, was also created by the headmaster. The professor isn’t sure, but suggests that it probably is.
Frey thinks about it and says it doesn’t sound like six stars. He recalls Pierre and senses that something is not clear here. Cerais Trisnane may know something. He thinks and decides that he must meet her. Frey calls for Isabelle, but then stops to ponder that no, as long as he doesn’t know
How things stand with the demigod. You can’t drag an uninformed person into all this, depending on the situation. He might even have to fight the academy director. He turns to the railing again and says that apparently he needs to be pumped up to seven stars. Isabelle is surprised.
And the professor says that at least ten years, or even no, more like twenty years it will take him to do that. Frey says that if he tries hard enough, he thinks he can finish it during the vacations. Isabelle comes in shock, and the professor laughs and says that his wishes might come
True someday. There’s no harm in dreaming. He turns to the professor, comes up and tells her again. Does she think he only has a big dream? But what about his love? She blushes again and overpowers herself, and again Isabelle interrupts them, saying
That they better be careful, because she might tell it to her aunt. Frey turns away and says that’s why he doesn’t like the younger ones. The professor agrees with him, which enrages Isabelle. Meanwhile, Frey ponders that he will not be in a hurry, needs to do what he can take right
Now, and that this is the surest way. Chapter 10. Two weeks later David walks in on crutches, screaming how dare Frey come at him, and that he doesn’t know what he did, but he can’t lose to someone like him.
He walks loudly into the room and right from the threshold he yells to Frey, did he think he could get away with it, and that he would make him regret being born into this world, and that he would call all the guys, and today he would get to.
He doesn’t finish, because Frey sends him a magic missile, and he falls on his back, his nose broken and now bleeding. Everyone surrounds him. Professor Kevin announces to everyone that in order to get his failing bridge of the nose up perfectly, Cadet David has returned home again.
The dream students are at a loss as to what is going on. Frey walks down the hallway and ponders, not that he expects much from these boys, but after all they must have some level, this is a prestigious institution.
The elite West Road Academy, that’s a problem, because in order to get used to using Mana and Frey’s body, he needs to fight more. Suddenly someone calls him a grey haired man and asks him if he is the one who turned David
Into a rag, then he asks him to go out with him. The yellow haired man looks at him haughtily and says that apparently he is good at magic. In the end, several guys and one Frey end up in some basement.
One introduces himself as Alex and is indignant, doesn’t he know his much respected senior and that people like him, Frey, just piss him off and what he did to his brother David, whom he cares so much about, and that he’s rumoured to have a broken leg and a broken
Nose, so how is he going to answer for that. Frey listens unemotionally to this whole monologue, after which he looks back at the other guys and asks if it scares him so much. He resents that he doesn’t address him in a respectful tone. Frey begins to get annoyed. Alex keeps provoking.
Does he really beat David and think he’s all powerful, whether he knows it or not, that he’s a man who in the last magical competition glatted rose to one out of 16, does he still not understand what that means.
He just yawns and finally Alex ends his monologue by saying that Frey will have a funeral today. Frey says that he brought a poor freshman into this crowd and is now bragging to him. Alex tells him not to chicken out, they’ll just watch. Frey starts to stretch his arm.
Alex says he won’t need a crowd to deal with the likes of him. Suddenly and abruptly Frey summons a magical missile and attacks Alex, whereupon he leaps back in the air and knocks the other guys down. Everyone watches in awe as Alex lies among the crates on the floor.
They are indignant as to how he could have hit him while he was talking, because you can’t attack when someone is talking or transforming. Frey sarcastically apologises to them and says that he’s just suddenly amused by the fact that he’s dealing with little kids like them here. They start to get angry.
One introduces himself as some older son of the Gillud family and his name is Golcarex, the other introduces himself as the second son of the Pinilac family and his name is Frix. They are interrupted by Frey and yell that he is a magic rocket and use two fingers of
Magic to flip them off to Alex. The whole crowd attacks him, but Frey uses the technique over and over again and throws them off and it’s repeated dozens of times. Finally everyone is on the floor and Frey sighs and thinks that they are the only wimps,
At this rate he will sink to their level. Inside the academy, Frey sits half lying at his desk. He opens his eyes after hearing the question of what he has been doing all this time and whether he knows that because of his frequent use of the magic rocket, the other students
Have called him a death rocket. Isabelle stands in front of him with the notes. Frey blushes and thinks, there they are embarrassing him. He starts waving his arms and screaming, what is he going to do? He doesn’t even have a chance to use anything stronger.
Isabelle looks at him, he just gleams in her eyes, she begins to blush, she can’t take her eyes off him, she ponders and comes to think that he’s cute. Frey asks sharply why she came, she replies that she did as he said, she knew that troll
Blood was effective in sealing, but by mixing it in a ratio of 7 to 3 with magical water, the result would be incredible. He replies that, if that’s what she means, the blood of a half troll would be even better, because their energy is mixed in a peculiarly appropriate way.
Isabelle says later that the result is incredible. After silence, she asks what he will teach her this time. He lifts his head tiredly and comes to think since when he started to teach her, although she is quite capable, if she is well trained, she can even reach 8 stars.
Finally he says out loud that this time he will tell her about the battle, she is excited and wants to say something. But Frey interrupts with his words that he will go to practice during the vacations and
If she follows him, she can see the battle herself, which she was so eager to learn about. He warns her that it’s a dangerous journey that could cost her her life, so if she’s not sure, it’s better to go beforehand.
She says confidently that she will go with him, he is surprised by this reaction. She asks to take her along to his training. Isabelle walks with numerous bags and backpacks in her gym clothes. Frey asks indignantly if she is going camping, what kind of backpack is that?
She replies that girls need a lot of stuff and what does he even know about it. Then she calms down and says it doesn’t matter where he’s going. He first asks for a minute to think, then tells her that he was going to go to the mountains of Spain.
She is surprised and says that it is such a dangerous place that they call it a monster’s paradise. Toph confirms and asks if she knows how to get there. She starts rummaging through her backpack and says that he seems to keep trying to catch her off guard.
She pulls out a map and they both start looking for this mountain. She says that even if she teleports, it will take about a quarter of a day, plus she’s heard that there will be a huge number of horrible monsters along the way, too. Frey asks if she’s scared.
She throws her backpack on again and asks not to be underestimated. She never hoped the journey with him would be safe and secure. He can barely contain his laughter and asks what she just said about the teleport. She answers that it’s something you can use to travel long distances.
Frey says that the world is a better place because 4,000 years ago there was no such thing, and she questions what 4,000 years ago he is talking about. Frey wonders if the magic is still the same, but the industry has evolved a lot.
There was obviously a reason why the students are so weak, but creating a teleporter is a really tempting idea. He says aloud what a comfortable world it is. Isabel says that the only drawback is that it costs a lot. The latter asks if there is a fee.
The girl is indignant, is it not obvious? The latter asks how much it costs. She replies that it is quite a long way from Cosmfonny to Hispaniola, so she thinks they would need about 10 gold pieces. He starts looking for something and finds only one gold coin, after which he is disappointed.
She asks what it is about him. Frey reflects on the former Frey that though he is an aristocrat, he has nothing at all. Then he remembers that Isabel is also an aristocrat, so she must surely have a lot of money. She asks if he’s not feeling well.
Frey starts showing her all sorts of hearts and asks how much money she has with her. She answers that she didn’t take any money with her. The latter is surprised. She says that the rich life makes people lazy. Did they need to take money for travel to accompany him?
Frey yells at her to go home now and not to return without money. She resists and says that she begins her journey by earning money for her fare. He gets even more annoyed and yells that she is talking nonsense when she herself has brought such a pile of stuff. She starts making excuses.
He interrupts her and they just move on. Frey thinks when they get to the capital, they’ll figure something out. He asks if she has ever worked. She answers that she never has. They walk on in silence and reach the seas, where numerous ships stand on the water.
Frey asks if it’s all free, and she replies that it’s free for academy students, which is why there are so many cadets. Frey dreams that the food must be good, too. He wonders if there’s meat there. Isabel says she has heard that the food on this ship is the best.
He dreams of meat and says that even just saying the word makes his mouth fill with saliva. He adores their academy. As soon as it’s their turn, they’re told that they’re out of seats and that they have to wait four days for the next ship. A frustrated Frey falls to the pavement.
They are asked if the Cortecho will accommodate them. They ask what it is. They find themselves in front of another ship, next to the big first one. She looks unhappily, not bad, okay, but after looking at what’s around. Isabel says that all people are like that.
The man who offered them says that even though he’s sailing into Jayatambul, they will arrive in Cosamponi in five days, and of course, it will all be free. Frey thanks him. In a dark room sit huge men with guns and strange hairstyles. Someone tells a certain captain that they are ready.
The captain replies that this is good, and that they will go into action tonight. A third begins to laugh. The captain points a finger at him and asks why he took his eye out, he annoys him. The one-eyed man replies, why does he say that, isn’t that a symbol of piracy, the captain
Shouts that. Even if he did, why did he take out his healthy eye, he calls him crazy. The third laughs and asks in jest, do they still have anyone normal left in the bloody robbers. The captain points to a map and says that today their target is a ship sailing into Jayatambul.
They will attack when they pass the islands, Auskal, is that clear to everyone. The one-eyed man rejoices and says that tonight they will really make a profit, after which he asks what is the name of that ship.
The captain gets angry and says that his memory is certainly not good, let him listen carefully, unless he wants his remaining eye filled with children from rich families, Corteccio, to be plucked out. Isabel and Frey are greeted by the captain on board, his name is Mac Martens.
Isabel asks him to take care of them, she says that had it not been for this ship, their hands would have been tied for four days, but is there a reason there are so few passengers on such a magnificent ship.
The captain replies that he is sailing near the Auskal Islands and that it is all because of the pirates, he asks them not to worry, because this ship is guarded by two warships, each of them has a four-star magician.
They are trained masters of battle in a magical tower, no matter what the pirates do, it won’t affect them in any way. Isabel says that since they are masters, it’s really reliable. The captain says that if the pirates have a head on their shoulders, they will not dare
Attack a ship that is guarded by the military. After these words the same pirates attack them. The captain is told that they are in big trouble because all the military ships are sunk. Everyone begins to panic, because it’s impossible, it can’t be, that two warships sunk in an
Instant, it’s not something pirates can do. The captain laughs gleefully and fearfully. A few minutes before, the captain gets a report that the target ship is already here and that they have two warships, so what are they going to do? The captain asks for calm, because someone will take care of everything.
They have a mage, their special guest, whom he has had a hard time inviting today. Huge dark magic spawns a terrifying monster in comprehensible spell sound. The captain says to watch carefully, it is Lick Duller and a valuable man who will let them take their share.
The one-eyed man is afraid, the captain tells him, acting like a child. Someone who doesn’t fear death, he’s only heard of it. But seeing him in person is really frightening, I feel like he’s having a nightmare. He thought their captain was completely crazy to go after Cortejo, who is with the warship.
The captain shuts him up, saying he’s talking too much and if he doesn’t shut up, the captain will take his eye out. The one-eyed man continues to praise the captain that he is a true pioneer, who can open a new page in the history of pirates. The latter rejoices and laughs.
The monster’s icy spear rains down on the ships. The mages are frightened and do not understand what it is, they try to resist. But the spears simply destroy the ships. The captain laughs loudly and calls out to the boys to make some money. The pirates rejoice and raise their guns.
The one-eyed man tells Duller that it’s amazing. He immediately blows up those big warships. Duller says it is strange, there were three ships, the ice spears he summoned, he is sure there were definitely three, then why is this ship unharmed?
The captain tells him that with all due respect, he thinks he warned him beforehand not to touch this ship, because they must use these people as prisoners. Duller turns on him angrily, which he immediately apologizes for and thinks to himself that the little skull is so nasty.
Duller says that he did it with the intention of blocking them. It would have been rather annoying if they had tried to run away or fend off the attack, and that the blow was not powerful enough for him to sink.
The captain asks what it is he means, the man replies that there is something on this ship. Meanwhile, in the whole ship, the captain tells everyone to calm down and follow the sailors instructions. Isabel complains that the warships have been destroyed.
Frey reassures her by saying that they are only pirates, but what bothers him the most is another thing. Isabel ponders his words that they are only pirates. Frey says that there were definitely three ice spears, but that what was supposed to fall on this boat disappeared along the way.
Isabel immediately asks him if he did it, which he refutes. He felt a wave of mana approaching, but could not stop it. He begins to tell the old Frey that he is no different from him. At this site of the demigod, his mind went blank for a moment, seemingly still at the
Mercy of those memories when he had been trapped in the abyss for four thousand years. He begins to tremble involuntarily. He tells himself to calm down and that the enemy looks like a demigod, but he is not. He clenches his fist and comes to believe it is undead mana.
Isabel asks if it wasn’t him, then who stopped her. He hesitates and looks at the guy sitting at the end of the ship. He mumbles that he doesn’t know who he is, but they should get to know each other. He did protect this ship after all. The pirate’s ship crashes into their ship.
All the cadets start screaming in panic. The pirates put up small bridges and throw ropes. They raise their spears and step on the alien ship in a frenzy. Everyone panics even more, screaming that the pirates are coming. They begin to fight and kill each other. Someone asks for help.
They do not believe that it is really pirates. Isabela stands huddled against Frey. Finally the captain himself and his chief pirates enter the ship. The one-eyed man says he thought it was funny because he was smaller than nitrous and he burns harder than he thought.
He counts the number of passengers and says there are about 40 of them. He laughs and says that if it all works out, he can play and eat forever. The captain smiles nastily and asks how the rich and dreamy cadets are doing. Then he introduces them as friends called bloody marauders.
A peaceful captain with a sword in his hand calls out whether these pirates even know what kind of ship this is. The captain says that of course they know, it’s a treasure ship stuffed with the descendants of the ancient homeworld.
After these words the whole gang of pirates laugh defiantly and gleefully at this. Suddenly the guy comes up from the depths, calls the pirates dirty and asks how dare they even say that. The head pirate’s eyes widen when he sees him.
The guy clenches his fist and says that they don’t seem to realise their situation. The people aboard the ship are academy students who will become excellent mages in the future and unfortunately for them, they chose the wrong ship to hunt.
The peaceful captain wanted to stop but the guy starts to activate his magic. He doesn’t finish as the knife flies right into one shoulder, closer to his neck. The pirate shouts to him that he seems to be the one who hasn’t fully grasped the situation.
Does he think anyone will give him time to swing? The guy with the knife in his neck is trembling, huddled against the wall, but then it turns out that the knife did not hit him in any way, but flew by and only lightly scratched the skin of his neck.
After this, all the cadets begin to scatter around even more in a panic. Frey sighs heavily and comes to the conclusion that someone has slightly deflected the trajectory of the knife flying toward his neck. In the background, someone is screaming, what are all these people for, someone begging for help.
He notices some invisible guy in white clothes and thinks it was the guy who prevented the attack. He walks up to that confident mage and says that this enemy is out of his league, so let him sit still and keep his head down.
The one-eyed man tells his captain that he can’t hit the only target and he gets annoyed and says that it’s too noisy and that he has deliberately calculated everything, because this is a potential bag of money. He pulls out the little knives between his fingers and says that jokes all aside and
This time he’ll show you how it’s done. He sees the cadet with the glasses and says he’s perfect for it. The latter, as soon as he hears these words, backs up in fear and falls over. The pirate gets closer and closer to him, whereupon he lifts him on his shoulder and
Tosses him overboard into the water. The guy in the hood yells to stop. The guy starts floundering in the water and screaming for help. Eventually after a while he disappears from view. Another cadet says that the orc from the second class has just been brutally murdered.
Next to her, a girl with blonde hair begins to cry, covering her face with her hands. The pirate captain is apparently bored with picking his ears. The mage becomes annoyed and begins to use his power, shouting how dare he do such a thing in the first place.
The pirate captain spits and says it’s too noisy. The mages attack him, but some kind of force envelops one of them, and the other pierces through him altogether. The dark, purple energy of that duller appears around the captain. Everyone wonders how he was able to deflect the blow like that.
The pirate captain smiles and directs this power at the others, all beginning to roll across the floor in different directions. Eventually this energy builds up and a silhouette emerges from it, later recognized as duller. One is surprised and disbelieving, saying it can’t be. Someone hesitantly calls him by his name, Lick Duller.
This unknown man with red eyes and a skull instead of a whole head stands before them in a black cloak. Isabel is surprised without horror. She doesn’t believe it either and asks if it’s really leech. Next to her, Frey stares at him indifferently and unemotionally.
This Lick Duller is slowly beginning to attack the peaceful cadets. The captain of the peaceful with a shaky voice screams, have they contracted with the undead, have they gone mad at all. Someone shouts to him that those who do not fear death do not do business with the living,
Which only means that they are used. The captain appears beside Lick Duller and says that they are only interested in money. He strokes his mustache and beard, justifying it by saying that they are pirates after all. They shout at him that he’s crazy and that it doesn’t matter how attractive the money is.
Everyone listens to this speech in silence. But then Frey pushes Isabel away from him and says she’s too close, calling it hot. The sides, doing it in the middle of the ocean is too. But then he shuts up and looks at her carefully.
He sees that she has her eyes closed tightly, sweat streaming from her face and her jaw and her whole body are trembling, and she is holding his hand very tightly. She finally says that they’re not just pirates and then hesitantly asks if they’re not in a dangerous position right now.
She tells me that Lick Duller’s minimum level is five stars. Now it’s clear why battle mages with four stars couldn’t get near him. Suddenly Lick Duller shouts for someone to come out of the crowd. The pirate captain turns to him in confusion.
Lick Duller says that here is someone who managed to stop his magic, he orders him to come out again, and that he knows that this person is here among the others. He coaxes him to show himself, come on, then he makes a condition that if he keeps hiding,
He raises his half-dead hand to the top, and then there are many ice crystals with sharp ends pointing at the ship above them. He says that if he keeps hiding, he will kill everyone right now. People begin to fall to the floor, trembling with fear and staring in horror at all these
Icy weapons of death. Even the peaceful captain looks on in fear and does not know what to do. Many crystals several rows in length and height are pointed at one single ship. Abruptly, everyone begins to shout.
The pirate captain turns to Mr Lick Duller that if he does it right now, he shuts up after looking at the captain himself with his red glowing eyes. He looks away, scratching his head and thinking that he is really nasty and scary.
Suddenly someone comes out of the crowd wearing black boots and a white cape. Lick Duller asks if he is the one who stopped his magic. The boy answers confidently and briefly that yes, he is. Lick Duller asks him for his name, and he slowly raises his hand to his hood, grasps
The material, and pulls the hood down. The people who have seen his face freeze in shock, both the guys and the girl with the pink hair, and even Isabel herself opens her mouth in shock, still clinging to Frey. Frey himself is not even surprised, he indifferently and unemotionally recognizes this guy he has
Seen before. The mystery man turns out to be the blonde guy with the blue eyes. He introduces himself, looking confidently and boldly into Lick Duller’s eyes, and finally says that his name is Pierre Jun.
