But then there’s times we have to be aggressive and there’s times when we have to forcefully Advance the kingdom of God and come against some stuff that’s coming against us and there are times and I believe we’re in a time that we have to become more aggressive that
We can’t be passive Saints but we have to be aggressive but part of the reason many of us are not aggressive is because many of us are not convinced yet that’s good and the reason I know we’re not convinced is because we don’t even educate ourself on what we think we
Believe that’s and I’m not trying to beat you up I’m going to build you up but I’m learning this that many of us don’t live right because we haven’t learned right I I’m today is going to be a message of Doctrine we don’t have too many Doctrine messages today today we have messages
Where people tell us to feel good they tell us how God’s going to do it and all of that is good God is going to bless us he’s going to do that but you can’t even walk in a blessing without understanding the right Doctrine because everything is
Going to be based on your ability to believe but not just to believe what do I believe and why and if you can’t answer why you have what I call dysfunctional Faith dysfunctional faith is believing something that you can’t explain why or how dysfunctional faith is when you have identification with no explanation
Dysfunctional faith is when you have formation but no fruit God oh God that means you look like a Christian but you don’t have the fruit of one dysfunctional faith is when you have Direction but no devotion what does that mean it means I keep coming to church
And I quote scriptures but I’m not devoted to what those scriptures say and so I came for the neck of the enemy that causes Christians to take this casually let me say it again cuz you’re slow but worth waiting for I’m coming for the neck of every demon that
Makes Christians follow God casually this is not a casual F I know I got a jacket on today but this is not a casual Faith this is a reckless Faith this is a faith that will wreck your life that will ruin your relationships that will change everything about

Devil and that person is a liar you must follow Jesus you must accept him to be saved what we’re going to read today is second Timothy chapter 3 and we’re going to go to chapter 4 I’m going to read a lot and then I’m going to just break it
Down and move okay so you’re gonna have to write it and do your best to keep up but what we’re going to read in second Timothy chapter 3 and second Timothy Timothy chapter 4 is this it’s it’s Christ faithfulness to us what we’re going to read is about how Christ chist is
Faithful Christ is faithful if you don’t get anything else out of this understand that Christ is faithful and what he writes to him as his son in the ministry as someone he’s discipling as someone who’s going to be a church leader that that’s following him and that are follow and that’s
Following him people are Timothy’s following Paul people are following Timothy so ultimately people are following Paul as they follow Timothy and people are following Jesus cuz they following both of them y’all got that some of y’all slow but worth waiting for watch the replay um but he writes to say
Remain faithful because he’s faithful and if he’s telling him to remain faithful that means there’s going to be some things that test your faithfulness there’s going to be some things that come there’s going to be opposition that makes you question what you used to be
Convinced by so he he warns him and he says you shall remain faithful to the Lord and you have to endure hardship even when it’s necessary because in view of what Christ has done for us we have to understand that we have to be faithful because he has been faithful
And what does he tell him to be faithful to there’s three things write this down he says be faithful in his work to the work of the Lord he says continue in sound Doctrine and that’s really what we’re getting into today somebody shout I hear a sound and then he says preach the
Word right so he says be faithful continue to be faithful in his work continue in sound Doctrine and preach the word so he’s given him an opportunity to have a bold stand so here we go 2 Timothy chapter 3 verses 1 through 17 and we’re going to

Persecuted people who are evil and cheat others will become worse and worse they will fool others but they will also be fooling themselves now watch this this this is really where we’re going to park today verses 14 through 17 and then chapter 4 watch this it says but you
Look at somebody say you you but you should continue following the teaching you learned you know it is true because you know that you can trust those who T who taught you so you can trust your leadership you have known the holy scriptures since you were a child these
Scriptures are able to make you wise and that wisdom it’s the wisdom that the scriptures give you leads to Salvation through faith in Christ Jesus all scripture everybody come on say all all SC Not some not Moses writings not John’s writings not only what Jesus said
All scripture is given by God and all scripture is useful for teaching and showing people what is wrong in their lives it is useful for correcting faults and teaching the right way to live using the scriptures those who serve God will be prepared and will have everything they need to do every good
Work oh I love it I love his word let’s go to chapter four this is good and we’re going to close here chapter 4 verse two tell everyone God’s message be ready at all times to do whatever is needed tell the people what they need to do
Uhoh let’s pause tell the people what they need to do oh God this is why we don’t have a suggestive faith we have an aggressive faith that our faith should give direction everybody say Divine Direction Divine he says tell the people what they need to do tell them when they are doing wrong
Uhoh nobody want to hear that no more you’re just judging me you’re judging me we shouldn’t judge but we understand we do judge we judge to correct not to condemn so he says tell them when they are doing wrong and encourage them do this with great patience and careful
Teaching the time will come and here’s your part when people will not listen in some versions it says sound Doctrine when they don’t listen to the true teaching but people will find more and more teachers who please them they will find teachers who say what they want to hear people will stop listening
To the truth and they will begin to follow the teaching in false stories we’re talking about winning faith I want to talk about what we believe and I want to give you a couple of things number one I want to talk about God the Father everybody say God

Nothing and your faith is worth nothing and we will also be guilty of lying about God because we have told people about about him saying that he raised Christ from the dead and if no one is raised from Death then God never raised Christ from Death if those who
Had died are not raised then Christ has not been raised either and if Christ has not been raised from Death then your faith is for nothing you are still guilty of your sins and those in Christ who have already died are lost if our hope in Christ Jesus is only for this
