Hey guys so today we’re going to talk about fraternity sweethearts which i think is the word that I was looking for the last video I found and I was trying to think of the difference between auxiliaries and affiliates I think the word I was looking for was fraternity
Sweethearts that’s why it always helps to have your notes in front of you nevertheless we’re going to talk about fraternity sweethearts and will it improve your chances of joining a sorority um in my opinion you’re probably hate me but in my opinion I don’t think so I think that in my day I
Believe a few in my pro fights not that many maybe like one or two were alpha beta or alpha sweethearts maybe even Omega I make a pearls maybe I’m not sure I actually had a friend who was gonna make a pearl when I was in high school
In college she ended up joining the Omega pearls but I don’t think out of all of my research I don’t think that a lot of those sweetheart organizations are fully recognized by the fraternities correct me if I’m wrong put them in the comments below but I think that they
Started off way back when and over time it’s kind of died out because I even looked up on mega pearls not too long ago to see if it was something that was still a thing and I don’t think that it’s as big as a thing as it was when I was in college
Anymore because I don’t think that Omega recognizes it I mean correct me if I’m wrong but just for me doing my research I don’t think that it’s something that’s still a part of the organization I think they might have broken off and become founded organizations within themselves but I don’t think they’re necessarily
Affiliated with the fraternities anymore like I said if I’m wrong please correct me but that’s just the research side did back to the question I don’t think that being any type of fraternity sweetheart is going to improve your chances enjoying the sororities because the way the sororities look at it and I even
Think they still look at it to this day I think that they kind of don’t care I don’t think they care that you’re a part of the sweetheart organization actually let me correct myself I think there’s one organization that is it’s a work and I’m looking for that I can’t
Think of right now it’s not certified but it’s like recognized by the fraternity and I think that that’s the Centaurs they’re the only ones that have actual sweethearts and go everywhere with them and I think it’s really cute they’re really sweet but as far as the sorority I don’t think that being an
Alpha babe or gonna make a pearl will improve your chances of joining Delta or Alpha Kappa Alpha I don’t think that sororities care in general if you’re a sweetheart to any fraternity I think they’re more interesting and why you want to join us Rory and what you have
The ring to the table so that’s just my take on it I don’t think that it’s something that is something that would boost your chances now if you were something like an affiliate I think that would boost your chances more because it’s created by the sorority versus something that’s created or accepted by
The fraternities and I mean it’s I think it’s two different things sorority affiliates fraternity sweethearts sometimes dealing with that’s something dealing with the fraternity this one’s dealing with the sorority so if you’re in an organization that’s related to a fraternity I don’t think that that’s gonna maximize your
Chances in being in a particular sorority that you’re interested in so just pick that into consideration when you’re thinking about sororities in college and whether or not being a part of one auxilary over the other will boost your chances enjoying a sorority that’s just my opinion now sometimes things happen by peer
Serendipity where you’re in a relationship and your boyfriend is in a particular four tourney and you become their sweetheart because your boyfriends in that fraternity now that I don’t think it’s something you should be frosted by because you can’t help that he joined a fraternity after you guys
Were together or he was in the fraternity and then you guys got together I don’t think that’s something you should be faulted on but if it was something that you actually pursued and then joined and you want to use that to join a sorority I don’t think that that
