Kings his name is Jesus and he’s alive amen he’s alive yes um we’re coming up Upon Our three-year anniversary we’ve been a church for almost three years uh in 2020 the covid year when a lot of churches were shutting down the Lord just popped this building on our lap and some
Wonderful men have worked they’re continuing to work on it just making this place beautiful uh we’re getting another room we’re expanding a little bit a room opened up for us so that’s really cool and um in three years just starting simply we had 25 people out in the courtyard
Because we couldn’t meet in here yet it was you know under construction and uh just simply teaching the Bible uh just keeping it real uh loving each other not trying to be fancy but just trying to love Jesus um he’s doing a great work in
Our hearts and I just love what I see him doing you know it’s beautiful Amen to that it’s really cool I’m really glad you guys were a part of it uh before we get into the word you can turn to Revelation 19 Revelation 19 uh before we
Dig into it um just a few announcements uh this Wednesday uh we’re having our all Church Christmas party we normally have church services that’s going to be paused for one week because we just we want to hang out uh remember one of the four pillars of Christ Church acts 242
Is eating food together and so we’re not going to be disobedient we’re going to eat food together and uh Wednesday it’s just going to be a fun night to hang out the whole evening if you stay the whole time it’ll it’ll start at 5:30 it’ll end at about 9: and
Let me tell you how it’s going to it’s going to go okay from 5:30 to 6:30 we’re going to eat and so it’s potluck style and as a church we’re also pitching in some we ordered a bunch of uh racks of barbecue uh baby back ribs that’s coming
We have huge trays of lasagna coming but we don’t want you to miss out on the opportunity to bless us so please potluck and uh you know this Christians own potluck on planet Earth so we we don’t want to disappoint people by proving them wrong um and some of you
Know how to cook I I know I’ve tasted so uh bring all your goodies we’ll potluck we’ll eat we’ll hang out it’s not a requirement to bring a dish um please if you can’t make a dish like come come anyways if you just just come to like

Now the kids um you can check in your kids at 5:30 and they’re going to have a pizza party and activities and crafts until 7:30 so kids can can go to kids church from 5:30 to 7:30 and then at 7:30 you’ll check them out and you’ll
They’ll come in here and watch the movie if you want say so that’s kind of how it’s going to go food Bingo hanging out a movie and it’ll just be a fun Christmas party very chill very relaxed Pastor Mike is going to bring his snow machines there’ll be lights out in the
Courtyard for the kids and the fountain by the way Courtyard they fixed they got it going it’s starting to look nice huh yeah it took us two years of harassing them but they finally listened um hey I want to talk to to you about uh Christmas Eve is on a Sunday
And so this is what we’re doing Christmas Eve morning we’re going to have three Sunday services so for the first time we’re going to go to three services we’ll need it these are going to be shorter Services they’re going to be an hour long each and so from 8: to
9: will be first service no child care this is only on Christmas Eve morning 88 to 9: and then second service will be 9:30 to 10:30 third service will be 11 to 12 it will be Evangelistic I’m going to be praying that you bring non-safe friends come to church on Christmas Eve
And uh they’re going to hear the gospel and then that night at 6: PM we’re going to have a candlelight service and the big feature is going to be a kid skit they’ve been they were rehearsing even today earlier today the kids are rehearsing their lines and their parts
This is going to be an awesome Nativity skit uh from our kids they’re going to have their lines memorized and everything so that’s the feature and there’ll be some Christmas songs around it and then as we leave the room you’re you’re G to go to the Courtyard after
The the skit and you’re going to be given a little candle and we’re going to have a a lighting of the candles we’ll have a worship outside uh to finish the evening so that’ll be a short 6 to 7 a really nice service we’ve never done the
Candle light so that’ll be pretty cool I want to go outside so that we don’t burn the church up in here um also one last thing I know those of you who have signed up to go to Israel we supposed to be going in February it’s
Still kind of up in the air you know that they’re hopeful we’re hopeful but in all honesty it’s not looking like we’re probably going to go now all of the workers uh it’s Hanukkah right now so my friends who work for the tour company they’re on a little vacation
I’ll talk with them later in the week but they don’t really know but this Wars is going to be continuing to go on and um even if we could get into some safe spots it’s just not where the Israel wouldn’t let us come if there was any
Kind of a threat they would just say no so hopefully I’ll have a like a concrete answer hopefully by next Sunday saying it’s postponed officially which is probably going to be what it turns out to be okay with that uh if if you’re new here what’s been happening on Sunday
Mornings ever since October 7th when Hamas terrorists invaded Israel and murdered and raped and tortured and brutally massacred innocent civilians uh we haven’t been able to stop talking about the end time scenario it’s kind of Awakened the end time scriptures in my heart at least and I feel like I’m uh
Being obedient by talking about the end times there are so many geopolitical shiftings there are so many factors uh involved and things are coming into place it’s like puzzle pieces coming right into place exactly the way the Bible said it would two and 3,000 years ago these prophecies are coming to life
One out of every four scriptures in the Bible are prophetic in nature which means one out of every four scriptures God is predicting the future now there are many prophecies that have been fulfilled and those encourage our faith and let us know that these prophecies yet to be fulfilled they’re happening
And we’re watching every country come into play we’re talking about Russia and Iran and turkey the the the players the the prophet Ezekiel talked about it’s happening Israel’s immediate adversaries Hamas Hezbollah it’s all it’s all there and Psalm 83 Ezekiel 38 if if it’s not I
Mean we’re just on the verge of it all World War I I is kind of already started I mean if this keeps going we’re going to look back and say oh yeah World War III started in October of uh you know it just took a little a time for things to
Get going and it would just be really naive when God has put the end time scenario on a platter for us to not be looking at it because Jesus could be coming back at any moment amen and we need to be ready and so today we’re
Going to be looking at the Millennium uh it’s been what 10 sermons now and so we’ve kind of uh jumped from looking at you know kingdoms against kingdoms and signs of the end times and we’ve just kind of kept going and so the last couple weeks we’ve looked at the battle of Armageddon
And the end of the seven-year tribulation period And So today we’re going to be looking at what happens after the second coming of Christ we’re going to be looking at the Millennium uh you don’t need to show that yet uh so what I’d like to do is just I want to
Read kind of where we left off last week week um thinking about the second coming and and then after we pray I’m just going to continue right on into the Millennium we’ll show this to you again and and I’ll explain some things and so before we pray let’s let’s read this
Passage of scripture Revelation 19 beginning in verse 11 I saw heaven opened and behold a white horse and he who s on him was called faithful and true and in righteousness he judges and makes War his eyes were like a flame of fire on his head were many crowns he had a name
Written that no one knew except himself he was clothed with a robe dipped in Blood and his name is called the word of God and the armies in heaven clothed in fine linen white and clean followed him on white horses now out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that with it he
Should strike the Nations and he himself will rule them with a rod of iron he himself Treads The Wine Press of the fierceness and Wrath of almighty God and he has on his robe and on his thigh on his skin a name written king of kings and Lord of lords
Just for you tattoo haters I might get a tattoo on my thigh that says Jesus is king of kings and Lord of lords how about that moving on verse uh 17 then I saw an angel standing in the Sun and he cried with a loud voice saying to all the
Birds that fly in the midst of Heaven Come and gather together for the supper of the great God that you may eat the Flesh of Kings the Flesh of captains the Flesh of Mighty Men the Flesh of horses and of those who sit on them in the
Flesh of all people free and slave both small and great so God has a cleanup plan in mind after the battle of Armageddon and it’s the Birds verse 19 I saw the Beast this is the Antichrist the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make
War against him who sat on the horse and against his army then the Beast was captured and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped His Image these two were cast
Alive into the Lake of Fire Burning with Brimstone and the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of him who sat on the horse and all the birds were filled with their flesh let’s pray heavenly father as we approach your word as we think about the second coming
As we think about Armageddon we’ve looked at how you’re going to touch down you’re going to touch down at the exact place where you left us on the Mount of Olives and there will be an earthquake it will split in half and you will Ascend the Temple Mount and you will
Walk into ezekiel’s Temple and you will be the king of the world the king of the the universe and we ask that you would fill our hearts with these truths today as we think about your Reign on Earth as we think about our future what we do today
Matters the choices we make matter for tomorrow and holy spirit we invite you into this room to be the Bible teacher to our hearts would you say things that I as a man could never say would you penetrate into the deep places of our hearts and way that only you can Lord we
Expose our hearts to you we don’t expose our hearts to other people we don’t trust them with our heart we we expose our emotions we expose our past we exposed the the awkward feelings there’s even a lot of pain and abuse from our past and we expose that
To you Lord we need healing we are all works and progress we are all under construction we’re all fixer ERS keep fixing us Lord keep fixing me God keep fixing our heart fix our mind fix our desires why why do we desire stupid things fix our desires fix our Brokenness Lord there’s
There’s people in this room broken and they hide their Brokenness from people but friend you don’t you don’t need to do that to your Living Lord just touch our hearts today and do a great work by your spirit God I offer myself to you I’m an unworthy vessel but help me to teach
Your word in a way that represents your heart help me to teach your word in a gracious way and I pray for Revelation chapter 20 to make a permanent Mark just engrave the truths of this chapter into our hearts we pray this in Jesus name and we all say together amen
Amen so last week we looked at these things how Jesus he he comes back to Earth but listen before eternity begins and before God creates a new Heaven and a new Earth First Jesus is going to come back to this earth and Rule and Reign on it for a thousand years whoa
A Thousand Years okay I mean eternity is a long ways away for us and so this is called the Millennium now my wonderful friend you can put this on the screen I’m going to give you the Millennium in Five Points and these Five Points come straight from Revelation chapter 20 okay we’re going
To look at how Satan is going to be bound for a thousand years Jesus is going to Reign for a thousand years and then Satan will be released from the bottomless pit Satan will be judged and thrown into the Lake of Fire and at the end of chapter 20 we’ll be
Looking at the great white Throne judgment these five things you guys ready for this all right let me hear you say number one one Satan will be bound for a thousand years we see this in Revelation 20 verses 1-3 read with me John writes I saw an angel coming down from heaven
Having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand he laid hold of the dragon that Serpent of old who is the devil and Satan and bound him for a thousand years and he cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a
Seal on him so that he should deceive the Nations no more till the thousand years were finished but after these things he must everyone say he must he must be released for a little while now if you go back to verse one we are introduced to an angel who’s coming
Down and casting Satan into the bottomless pit a prison that he can’t do anything for a thousand years now this must some angel I mean this must be like some awesome dude right because hey in the Book of Revelation we have already been introduced and told that there are Mighty
Angels there are strong Angels The Book of Revelation even mentions loud Angels so it’s like what cool sweet thing is it going to say about this Angel who has the job of grabbing Satan by his little neck and throwing him into the abyss well it just says he’s an
Angel he’s like no big deal he’s no big deal he’s not him he’s just a guy he’s just what he’s just an angel he’s not any he’s not anything sweet or cool at all and you know what he only has one free hand because a giant chain is in
His other hand so who’s the guy who comes and grabs Satan and tosses him to the side just an angel with one free hand and what’s the point the point is Satan is no match for even the simplest of angels be reminded your battle is against a defeated enemy and when Satan
Has the upper hand it’s mostly our lack of faith it’s because we’re not preaching the gospel to our heart we’re not encouraging ourselves in the Lord we’re not reading the word and when his flaming Arts hit us we’re just not full of Faith to quench those things you know
And the truth is he’s a defeated enemy and it just is a little old angel just some guy throwing him in it’s awesome you know it’s cool to think of in verses 2 and three it says he laid hold of the Dragon he’s not laying hands on him to
Pray he lays hold of him that de the devil is saying he bounds him for a thousand years casts him into the bottomless pit shuts him up sets a seill on him so that she he should deceive the Nations no more till the thousand years are finished but after these things he
Must be released for a little while the bottomless pit is in the Greek the abuso we call it the abyss and that’s a fascinating study in itself that we just don’t have time to like jump all into but the abyss is a place for fallen angels who go who there it’s not just
For fallen angels it’s for fallen angels who break the rules of what God says they can and cannot do and so they’re in the abyss they can’t mess with Humanity when they’re in the abyss and I love that it says that this Angel shuts him up isn’t that great because I mean
Satan’s biggest tool is in his words that’s the way he affects you most of all I mean isn’t it crazy how you can be cruising on the freeway and you got your worship on and you’re in the spirit and you’re thinking about how you’re living
A good holy day today and all of a sudden out of nowhere a thought comes into your mind of something dumb and sinful you did 20 years ago and all of a sudden you feel condemned and you feel bad about it it’s like wait wait where did that come
From I mean it can it can only come from a few places is that your thought no because you were thinking about Jesus worshiping so it was it’s not God cuz God’s not condemning you so it’s either you had too many pepperoni pizza you know I don’t know jalapenos on your
Pizza too late at night or it’s the devil you know that’s kind of what it is it’s the devil’s thoughts and he and he comes to you he’s called the accuser of the Brethren that’s what the devil does his power towards Christians is only that he can just speak at
You remind you tell you you’re not loved by God you’re different from other all these other Christians in the room right now are loved but God knows you’re the weird one that’s what the devil’s trying to speak to some of you right now some of you not used to coming to church it’s
Like I don’t belong here none of us do we’re all Sinners saved by grace trust me I’m getting to know some of these people they’re they’re covered by the grace of God okay he’s the accuser whenever you see other believers just trash talking and accusing another believer they’re doing
Satan’s work for him it’s demonic and here God says shut him up love it but he must be released after the Thousand Years When God Says something must happen there is a good reason there is a reason that deals with morality there is a reason that deals with Justice and Injustice and God’s
Goodness now I’m going to talk in a little bit later about why Satan must be released okay so just push pause on that thought we’ll come back to it Satan will be bound for a thousand years Point number two Jesus will be reigning on the earth for a thousand
Years this is in verses 4-6 read verse 4 with me John says I saw Thrones and they sat on them and judgment was committed to them then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God who had
Not worshiped the Beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands and they lived and reigned with Christ Christ for a thousand years we’re introduced to two people two people groups here the first people group are those sitting on
Thrones the second group of people are The Souls of those who’ve been beheaded I’ll talk about both of them who are these who are sitting on Thrones well as I explained a couple weeks ago this is us the church this is you and I we are in our glorified bodies
After the church is raptured and taken to heaven in Revelation 4:1 the church is then given crowns and Thrones and white robes this group of people here in verse four is us and we will be ruling judging reigning with Christ in our glorified bodies during the Thousand Years now the
Second group of people mentioned these are what we call tribulation Saints we studied this two weeks ago remember that the church is not destined for God’s Wrath and the Great Tribulation period is a time where God pours his wrath on the earth the church is not destined for wrath the
Rapture is God’s way of uh delivering the church before he pours out his wrath now if you’re here today and if you’re hearing the gospel if you’re hearing there’s going to be a Rapture that all this this is coming if if you are one of the couple in this room who don’t
Receive Christ and all of a sudden here in a couple weeks we’ll say the church is gone and you’re the couple of you are left behind I assume you’re probably going to remember these things and you’re going to take salvation much more seriously than you did today and you’re
Going to get right with God you’re going to figure it out if you can’t figure it out today how do I get right you’re going to figure it out what I’m trying to say is there’s going to be probably a great Revival there’s going to be Mass conversions after the Rapture because
The Rapture is going to be a clear sign that shows people I wasn’t really saved I guess I wouldn’t really I had a knowledge of truth but I wasn’t really saved those people are going to get saved but they will not be protected they are tribulation Saints and these
Are Saints who refuse to worship the Antichrist they refuse to receive the mark of the beast on their right hand or their forehead and here in verse four they’re going to be beheaded which is interesting interesting because there’s one people group on Earth who likes to behead people
Jihadists so what’s happening in verse four is that these tribulation Saints now are joining us the raptured Saints in glorified body and it says we will live and reign with Christ for a thousand years check something else out at the beginning of verse four it says judgment is committed to them so that
Does mean that we are reigning with Christ we are a part of his new government we are judging we are given territory we are given responsibility we are reigning with him this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone do you know that Jesus told his disciples that they would sit sit on
Thrones during the Millennium check this out Matthew 19: 27-29 thank goodness for Peter leave it to Peter who’s the one to uh question Peter says Hey we’ve left everything and followed you what are we going to get out of it you know only Peter’s got the
Guts like to come to Jesus be like hey man it’s been a couple years like what are we what’s the benefit of all this and so Jesus said to him assuredly I say to you that in the Regeneration when the son of man sits on the throne
Of his glory you who have followed me will also sit on 12 Thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel and everyone so This Is Us everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands for my name’s sake Jesus is more important than anything
You give up everything for Jesus he says you’ll receive a h hundredfold and inherit eternal life so the H hundredfold is the blessings and the presence and the gifts based on what we did with our Salvation And so this is really interesting it’s it’s a little snippet into the Millennium Jesus tells
The 12 disciples the implication of this is that he’s going to restore Israel and he’s going to restore the 12 tribes and he’s going to set the parameters to the 12 tribes and each of the 12 disciples of obviously not Judas but Paul came to replace Judas these 12
Apostles will be ruling over the 12 tribes and we’re not told how that’s going to expand but we see territory we see uh someone assigned over a region so who know maybe you know maybe one of you will be given Sun City who knows also the Apostle Paul said in 1
Corinthians 6: 2 and 3 do you not know that the Saints will judge the world and if the world will be judged by you are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters he saiding handle your little quibbles in church you’re filled with the spirit you can handle it and then he
Says don’t you know that we shall all judge angels and it’s like no I didn’t know tell me more and he doesn’t he just like leaves us hanging like what don’t you know no we’re GNA judge angels and we’re going to judge the world wow there will be natural
People meaning they have bodies just like us who do survive the battle of Armageddon who enter the Millennium and these are the people we will be ruling and reigning over they will be repopulating the Earth having babies and such and we will judge the word we will also judge Angels that’s a
Trip man because there’s demons who have messed with you your whole life and God’s going to let you have some words wow demons I mean when when when you study demonology in the Bible you don’t find this unorganized like like Satan’s a chicken with his head cut off mentality we’re
Talking about the most sophisticated organized army ever an army Legions of demons with ranks and assignments and so forth and so the devil you know if if I say the devil and the first thing you think of is like a red ugly guy with horns and a pitchfork you need to
Rethink what the Bible says about Lucifer okay can you imagine those demons assigned to your family that have been after you been after you and all of a sudden in the end you get to judge them you will judge them I never saw Jesus I never saw God
And I followed him you saw the fiery steps of Heaven you saw him and you rebelled I imagine that’s the kind of thing I’ll say I’m I’m thinking how I’m going to smack talk the demon when I get him face to face it’ll go something like that maybe I don’t
Know listen the Old Testament shares so many details about the Millennium really cool ones I I I’m just going to show you a couple listen to this Isaiah chap 11 verses 6-10 it says the wolf uh shall dwell with the lamb a leopard shall lie down with the young goat the calf and
The Young Lion and the fatling together and a little child shall lead them you imagine like little babies like crawling over lions and just playing it’s so cool to think about the cow and the bear grazing together their young ones are lying down together and the lion shall
