Back Wards on all of these events of Advent knowing that they’ve already happened but yet we still continue to celebrate and anticipate because God continues to come to us each and every day and what does he intend for us in this Advent season he intends for us to
Imitate the Blessed Mother who of course received the Son of God and she received him in a pretty powerful way I think and of course for each of us as we come before the Lord today we want to imitate her in that in reception of Christ so um
That’s what we are here to do my friends I know it’s been a crazy day if you’ve been watching the news if you’ve been watching social media I’m not going to get into any of that if you’re new here on the rosary crew Keith doesn’t get into church politics or any kind of
Politics on the rosary crew you guys can do that whenever you want um but not here this is a place where we come to pray and that includes manipulative prayer intentions okay you know what I’m talking about um so let’s keep it focused on the Lord not on our own deal
And I know that can be hard sometimes it’s hard for me um and I don’t always do a great job at that but I think it’s so important that we don’t allow ourselves to become divided through any by any of the stuff going on in the in

Humble a lot of us try to figure out how do we become more humble I think the more you try to be humble the tougher it is you can do acts that are consistent with humility but humility really isn’t about an action is it it’s about what’s
Going on in your heart and so if if you reduce trying to be humble to Simply like Behavior I think you’re going to struggle um because here’s the deal humility has to do with your understanding of who God is and who you are and if you get that right then
You’ll be humble the Blessed Virgin Mary got that right and that’s what we see in the anunciation when the angel Gabriel comes to her with this incredible news that she will conceive and give birth to the Son of God even though she doesn’t figure it out and understand it and it
Troubles her actually according to what she says she still submits she still obeys she says I am the handmade of the Lord that identity is where her humility comes from and that’s where your humility will come from too so as we meditate on this first joyful mystery don’t don’t try to

The mother of my Lord should come to me she exclaims loudly because the holy spirit is filling her John the Baptist in her womb leaps for Joy friends we see a beautiful visitation here that is a representation of what we all experience when we come together to pray because
When we come together to pray the rosary we are united in the same thing that United Mary and Elizabeth the will of God and my friends when we are united by the will of God it doesn’t matter what we’re going through we can get through it together we can Rejoice together just
As Mary came to Rejoice with Elizabeth the Bible calls us to mourn with those who mourn and rejoice with those who rejoice and love of neighbor um often times my friends is about celebrating what God is doing in our lives so we need to do that today my
Friends and what was God doing in these beautiful uh women’s lives he was fulfilling prophecy wasn’t he John the Baptist was prophesied about Jesus of course the the Messiah and here in this one little place they gathered together and and celebrated who God is and what

Amazing how those those Sins Of Our Lives can just attach themselves to us and make us think that we need them so when we think about Advent we think about letting go of all of those things that have attached themselves to us so that we can be completely belonging to

Presentation the spiritual fruit of this mystery is obedience the Blessed Mother and our Lord uh our Blessed Mother brings our Lord with St Joseph to the temple to be consecrated to be presented to the Lord as was commanded by the Mosaic law and they do this out of obedience my friends
They don’t try to to figure out a way around it they don’t say well we don’t really need to do this she submits herself to the ritual of purification even though she remained completely pure throughout the the process of giving birth to Jesus and really onto eternity but yet obedience requires that friends
We we do whatever the Lord calls us to and we’re called to present ourselves to the Lord in obedience also what does that look like for you today and what ways in your life here today do you need to up your game in terms of obedience friends I want to just encourage you

His way home we can we can we can trust him he’s a good boy they knew that it was their responsibility to be with him so they went and they searched for him guess what my friends your responsibility to be with him too and we together must continue to search for him
We must never stop we must continue the way of faith we must continue to to strive for Holiness to put off the ways of the world to walk in truth that’s all what seeking Jesus is about and I know it can be tiring at times I know it can
Be tough I know we can feel like man the hits just keep on coming in life you know I met with a good friend today who what he lives through on a daily basis my friends I couldn’t do for for a week without completely freaking out and this
Brother in Christ just every single day has to persevere just to to take care of the things in his situation and I tell you I know a lot of you are in situations like that and it inspires me greatly because you know I I want to live a life of Holiness that
Searches for God and too often what we do is when things get tough we search for other stuff don’t we because we don’t know if Jesus we don’t know if we can trust him because he might not take away that pain he might not take away that
Circumstance and what we fail to realize is is sometimes that’s where he is he’s right there in the middle of that pain and in the middle of that circumstance and he is so good that if we have to be there to be with him that’s what we
