Simply means that it’s inverse conversation and it’s another opportunity it’s another Friday evening uh where we’re going to try our very best to make Bible applicable but not only applicable but make it practical I have two of my very good friends on the panel with me this evening of course my

Thusly but Lord you know that while this week was a week Lord even if we may have been weak Lord in our weakness you would have been made strong Lord and your grace and power would have been made magnified and we would have had a
Testimony Lord I am asking that as we go through this lesson study oh Lord the same lineage the same history of our faith Lord I’m asking that you know while it is somewhat fleshed out and we hit on the key points Lord help us to Garner a new Fresh understanding oh
Lord pour ourself on our eyes so that your glory might be revealed to us once more open our minds and give us the wisdom knowledge and understanding oh Lord and as my brothers and I help to extrapolate some deeper meaning Lord put a hot coal on our
Lips so that your words might come through and not ours oh Lord help us to be used as vessels for you in this ministry we ask in Jesus’s name we pray and thank you for answering amen amen amen and so listen we are needeed deep well I shouldn’t even say
Knee Deep we already neck deep in our quarter uh we are about a few days away from what we consider to be of course the celebration of Christ birth uh Christmas and for those individuals who are seeing faces on the um for those of you who who en enjoy your Christmas
Celebration uh I certain not you’re going probably eat everything known to man um be very be very temperate if you if I should say that to you be very temperate nonetheless um Merry Christmas um the top of the seasons to you whatever it is that you want and you
Appreciate and accept uh the very best of the season to you and remember I want us to always remember this remember that what this season is about is about appreciating the the fact that God that Jesus came to Earth we don’t know his birth dat we don’t know none of these
Things however we Al we do know that he came to Earth and he changed the entire trajectory of what we consider to be our entire life and so for those who are heavy into the Christmas giving um give give your heart to God okay please and

Ahead all right good evening happy Sabbath to everyone um happy pleasure to be here and our memory text for this week comes to us from Revelation chapter 14 veres 6-2 and um it reads and I saw another angel fly in the midst of Heaven having the Everlasting gospel to preach
Unto them that dwell on the earth and to every nation kingred and tongue and people saying with a loud voice God and give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come and worship him that made Heaven and Earth and the Sea and The Fountains of waters and there
Followed another Angel saying Babylon is Fallen is Fallen that great City because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication and the third Angel followed them saying with a loud voice if any man worshiped the Beast and His Image and receive his Mark
In his forehead or in his hand the same shall drink of the wine of the r of of God which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the Holy Angels and in the presence of the lamb
And the smoke of their torment ascended up forever and ever and they have no rest day nor night who worship the Beast and His Image and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name here is the patience of the Saints here are they that keep the Commandments of God and the faith of
Jesus awesome and and so of course we as Seven Day Adventists uh we would have grown up listening to or even reading this particular passage and so we understand that our our entire theology is heavily built on the Three Angels message um but this week you know it was
Rather interesting the the name of our intro section or the beginning of our week the name of it was it was titled a global message and I just want to read a little bit of what it says and then we’re going to go knee deep into our
Discussion it says the SDA church is present in 218 of the 235 countries recognized by the United Nations this is somewhat deceptive however because even in countries where our church is present there are billions of people who have never ever heard Christ’s name our Global mission is driven by a unique
Message that no other Church preaches our message is summarized in Three Angels messages Revelation 14 6-2 the first Angel announces that God’s judgment has arrived understood through the 2300 day prophecy and for those who are prophecy and enthusiasts uh we would definitely know what the 2300 day prophecy is the second exposes babylon’s
Sin the third Inu instructs us to avoid the mark of the beast keeps keep God’s Commandments and have the faith of Jesus the third also declares that no Nation May enforce a form of worship that goes against God’s words religious liberty underlies the warning against receiving the mark of the beast Revelation 14
Clarifies the doctrine of death but that’s in verse 13 and aims to prepare people for the second coming and in verse 14 um the church properly understood and officially adopted each of the messages topics in years following 1844 and we all know what happened in 1844 which is conditionally called the Great deception
And so unfortunately um I’m sorry this great disappointment my apologies uh and and so we we all look at 1844 many of us don’t talk about it because it’s to us it’s a you know it’s that that nudge that everybody wants is oh gosh we got it wrong but out
Of getting it wrong um God showed a number of individuals including LG white Joseph Bates what it is that our our organization our church a religious um fraternity called the seven Adventist Church uh should accept and adopt it goes on to say an overview of these three messages was first printed in
1847 which is a track a track that is called a word to the little flock by the whites and Joseph Bates since then our understanding of these important verses has deepened but not changed want us to get that clear it has deepened but not changed they summarize Revelation final warning and invitation
And explain the mission and message of the SDA church but I want us to to stay focused on that the the since then our understanding of these important verses not has deepened but not changed and so we want to jump into the the conversation and and this is my question
To to Adrian first and foremost I mean we we always hear people talk about the mark of the beast and you know uh one time one man say is in the hand another time another man say is in the forehead another man say is is in a vaccine it
There’s just so many different schools of thought and you know as I often tell persons listen if if your understanding or your appreciation is what it is hey go right ahead and make certain you believe fully in but make certain that the Bible corresponds with what it is
That you or better yet you you’re corresponding or understanding what it is that the Bible is saying through what it is that you believe my question to you right off the tip what is it that you understand as the mark of the beast in in in the Adrian esque um
Appreciation and understanding what exactly do you understand as the mark Beast um well for me and based on my studies I believe that the mark of the beast is the indicator that you you are serving the Beast um the dragon the system um that is against God’s kingdom
And it will manifest itself in the final analysis in worship and it will be if if you if you ask for physical manifestation it will be in the form of acknowledging the system that the enemy has set up which will become um um the day that God has set aside for his
People and um I guess I was a little bit cautious in how I phrase it because yeah yeah we we we we we are at a place where many will now say that Sunday is the mark of the beast but the Bible prophetically doesn’t say that as yet it
Says that it will become because it is going to come a time when the enemy will draw the line and say to persons that you must prove that you are on my side and God is basically going to be saying my children are going to have my
Seal showing that they are mine and the devil’s children are going to have his MTH and as you mentioned yes it will be um indicated by m either in your hand or on your forehead but it may not be a physical Mar I can’t tell anyone that
It’s going to be a physical mark on your hand or physical Mark in your head but I do understand from my studies that the persons who receive the mark in their forehead that’s because they are convinced they are wholly devoted to serving the enemy and so they are like
Me me me Daddy they would literally refer to the devil as their father because they have made the conscious decision that they’re going to be following following him and not God and then the persons who receive the mark in their hands are persons who will be following him based on circumstance they
Do not want the difficult life that comes with following God they want to be able to feed their family to keep their lifestyle that they’ve been able to attain um and so their works are going to be manifesting that they are following him um even even though in
Their head in their mind they know that it’s the wrong path to take but they’re going to feel probably some may feel as though the circumstances are not allowing them to make another decision um and so that’s my understanding of the mark of the beast I I truly agree Adrien
I TR I truly agree I I truly I haven’t heard and it’s interesting that you broke down the the the mark in the on the forehead or in the head uh compared to the mark on the hand and and a lot of persons would just simply say it’s a
Mark on the hand but from from studies would realize that one is based off of circumstance and the other was based off of choice and of course both of them are Choice granted uh but we’re forced or or we allow ourselves it’s just like you know my one of my friends was actually
Saying to me um I think it was day before yesterday we were having a conversation and he was saying to me joh remember when we used to be much younger and of course I’m from Sutherlands and he didn’t really have much stuff to do in Sutherlands other than you know go
Raid people mango tree and and Kip tree and all that kind I don’t know about everything else that I hear people talk about but I remember he would say uh I remember when the there was a individual don’t want to believe that on on on YouTube so I’m I’m safe to say
What I’m going to say I remember that we would you know would hop over some fences in the village you know I’m not even say the village anymore uh hop over some fences in the village and we would choose to actually go and raid some trees even though the woman said to us
Do not come into my yard I remember one time that of course you know we saw the things on the tree and you recognize I’m staying away from what it is that trees were bearing to the person might know uh and in us alerting the dogs in the yard
That we were in the yard uh we scampered to get over the fence and in get trying to get over the fence I got over the fence my pants got torn but my my other friend uh he got his his foot um latched on The Bob wire so now he is hanging
Over a portion of his foot is on the opposite side and so now she’s coming outside and she she you know of course as Christian young man we’re supposed to know better and you know the woman walked up to us and she said you know
What I’m going to help you all right but even though y’ all chose to do wrong I am still going to make certain that I’m I’m going to nurse your wounds and funny enough of course you know how the story end when it came to Mommy finding out
Nonetheless is the same method of Christ knowing that you know we have a choice but yet still we want to go against what it is that he says and and he’s like that that woman she we know better but she’s going to n us back to health but
There’s still a consequence and so that is how I I sometimes I look at the Three Angels message and we have that opportunity now we don’t know what tomorrow holds so then the three Angel message is given us a a a structure of things to come we don’t know if they
Have already happened we know that more than likely theyve already started based on the 2300 day uh prophecy however we really and truly have to stick our heads on necks all the way inside of of gospel inside of the message and understand what it is God is saying to us but um um
Sylvester I know that you’ve been out of the loop for this one when when we look at uh Revelations uh 1316 to17 and it says and I’m reading from the NIV it says um it also forced all people Great and Small rich and poor free enslave to receive a
Mark on their their right hand or on their forehead so that they could not buy or sell unless they had they had the mark which the name of the Beast or the number in the now my question here is they going to come a point in time and
Adrian said it so aply you know the mark of the beast is coming you know it is it is literally coming we have not gone through the pro process of the struggle of that Mark or what the mark entails and it brings however when we look at
This revelation 13:16 17 to 17 it really truly talks about a lot of the things that we will not be able to do what I really want you to talk about is that you know we live in a society where we are free to do almost anything we want
To do and now we’re hearing about the mark of the beast bringing all of these perplexities to our lives and all the things that we will not be able to do my question to you as a man living in a very free Society how does that make you
Feel as a Christian and how do you think and and I’m I’m I’m preempting here how how do you feel about even that Mark ofab beast and what will happen in terms of your life and how you will literally have to change it to suit the gospel
Now I will I will keep it very simple and very brief awesome as a as a as a single man before I got married I don’t think I would have much problems with this because I am someone that will live off of very little or next to nothing and I’ll be I’ll be
Cool but my wife is the complete opposite she like fancy things she like fancy food she like comfort you know and there there’s this thing that we do for March and other months as well we call it moneyless March so sometimes we we might have a vacation
On our minds that we really looking forward to so we might do some extra saving and live off the bare minimum for the entirety of March so food clothes and maintaining shelter that’s it and then after that now we could do a little bit more lavish spending my worries
However when if if I am to see these times where the Sunday law comes into play and the mark of the beast and whatnot I am more worried about her than anything because as much as you know we we study the word together yeah we are in spiritual warfare
And in Warfare in the of God they are people who have different strengths different levels of tenacity and her level is different to mine so my goal since I’ve gotten married is to build a foundation with the both of us and help her to reach my level in terms
Of what she can handle Embrace herself with so that even if I am not there she could handle her stories I think that when it comes to our Salvation our Salvation is soul so we are fully in charge of accepting that gift that God has given us however
Whether it be your wife your husband your brother your sister whatever relations you have even your enemies our job as Christians is to help prepare the those around us and those outward as well as much as possible and give them all the tools that are necessary so that they can make an informed
Decision just like when they were doing the just like the last three years everyone didn’t have all the information we are in charge we have been charge to give everyone as much information as possible so that they can’t say well I didn’t know or I wasn’t prepared for this you were given the
Information you were given the tools and I think that is that would be my approach to this I guess you could call it the time of trouble because this isn’t all the time of trouble that there is this is just a little taste a little portion you know so we really and truly
Have to mentally prepare ourselves physically prepare ourselves 1 Corinthians 6 19 and 20 um and we have to spiritually prepare ourselves we we we we can’t just say that we are Christians we must study to show ourselves appr proov we must take care of our bodies and we must completely
Immerse ourselves in New Start every Christian should have a strong core should have strong upper body should have strong lower body because you don’t know when you’re going to have to run to or thr whether you have to run into battle or do a tactical Retreat you have to be physically mentally spiritually
Fit at all times and that is part of the preparation for these times of trouble whether you see it or not you should always be prepared awesome thank thank you thank you well you know it’s interesting because you if if persons were listening to you you can they could tell exactly
What your your major is uh you spoke about sprinting and being strong in the legs and the upper body pulling and pushing yeah if if anybody’s really thinking they’ll know exactly what your major is nonetheless um Adrian uh listen the global reach of the seven Adventist
Church is extremely huge uh we are all the way I remember when I I I think in a couple years ago I was actually in Spain and I remember passing um one of the there was a well it’s a City Church I didn’t realize it was a 7even Adventist Church and it was
On Sabbath you know you’re out strolling you don’t know anybody so you’re out strolling and I’m hearing the singing and I’m realizing that that’s a hymn I’m like you know you can’t miss A Hymn especially one that we normally sing on a Sabbath morning and I’m hearing I’m
Passing and I’m saying cool that’s that that must be a seven Adventist Church and just the way in which the format is I was in a park just off from the the church and I’m listening and I’m saying to myself no that must be a 7day
Adventage church and it it pulled me to go over I walked up uh the woman said something SP my Spanish was not as great as it should have been but I understood exactly what she’s saying and I realized when I looked up because I still wasn’t
Looking up I saw the emblem of the seven ADV I was like oh I’m home my question to you here is our our church is so Global yet still there’s so many persons Even in our our confined of our communities that still do not know about
The God we serve strange as it is it’s really odd we might call the name Jesus we might say God but funny enough many of us in our society still don’t know who Jesus is and still don’t know God if God is closed or God is the the the the
Trione who sits on our throne and my question here is how do we as young seven Adventist specifically male how do you think that we can allow or affect our small community with the Three Angels message understanding that there are still some young Brothers in the hood still some young sisters who are
You know diling on the clubs and all those kind of they still do not understand the god that we serve and still have no appreciation of of that thing called the Bible how do you think that we can we can affect them in just some small simple tidbit
Ways all right um I think we have to first have that connection uh when Samuel was speaking um it was quite interesting that he mentioned the fact that you know him and wife they actually do devotions together which to me is an important part of family life um and so
When you extend the family or grow the family where children are concerned parents should remember that responsibility that’s given to them in Deuteronomy 6 um that every they should take every possible opportunity and we’re not talking about wait for opportunities to come the parents should be seeking opportunities to teach their
Children about God to teach their children the word of God and to teach their children to love God and then I think it’s going to spill over into the church atmosphere in terms of the membership of the church will be a body of people who are one in love and in
Tune with God and two are desirous of seeing others learn about this God and then our young people our older people will always have this desire to share the gospel with someone I am very very excited about sharing the I love sharing the gospel I mean like if
If like in my office sometimes well every year for the past couple years we do a gift exchange um it’s not necessarily well I tell them I don’t celebrate Christmas so I just acknowledge the fact that the office is having a gift exchange and you randomly
Select the name of a person and no matter who the person is and no matter what they would have mentioned in their gift list that they would love to receive they’re going to get something spiritual for me so they might get if sea is on the list
And sea wants that nice little bow tie that he’s iring to add to his already very large um collection you say I’m getting a bow tie I’m actually getting a bow tie thank you thank you thank you Adrian thank you okay Sean I’m just join next
Example he’s going to get a bow tie and probably a steps to Christ or Mark Bible or something that I believe can help enr his life and really and truly I think this is what is going to change well I know that it’s the word of God that’s
Going to change people’s lives and so the people who are in our communities especially the young I really concerned about the direction that many of our young men in our communities are going and I know for sure that what will help them and what will change them is if we
As the church we as the Believers go and take this gospel to them and you know we have to be mindful that if we truly believe that we are Seven Day Adventist uh then that means that we’re called similar to what we would have been studying in the adult lesson this week
We’re called for such a time as this um we are living in the end of time and it’s not just about knowing that God exists and giving thanks to God or loving God but God desires more and he has a special message for people because in these days in these last days the
Deception is going to be great I think um you I think it was you that mentioned Sean that the devil is going to cause those who worship him to receive the map and anybody who doesn’t have it they’re not going to be able to buy ourselves that and and I mean as Samuel
Mentioned that is going to be a time that is going to cause men to really fall down in fear why I mean we we experienced the pandemic um and especially in the early stages of the pandemic you could tell that a lot of persons were extremely afraid because
There was a lot of uncertainty as certainty as to what was going to happen um the employers were telling them okay don’t come to work and then next you hear these businesses are closing down and so you’re wondering where’s your income going to come from and then when
They got the vaccines and then they started talking about okay well if you’re not vaccinated you can’t do this and you can’t do that and it was like oh and literally almost overnight if you weren’t in a certain category you weren’t able to do simple normal things that you were able to do
Before that nobody cared what category you were in and for me I took that as a probably a little example a little Peak inside of the curtain as to how easily the people who run the system can mandate that you aren’t allowed to do something because you’re in a certain
Category and for me as SST I think we we we should have taken that as a very important hint because very easily I know that there were a few places around the world that there were some I mean people were marching against these things and stuff like that but for the
Most part the world the world is a billion people and for the most part if if you look at the numbers the majority of people either decided that they’re going to follow or they’re just not going to follow and it wasn’t a majority that were protesting against these laws that
Were just being handed down and so there’s going to come a time that we are not going to be able to buy and sell and that reason is going to be because you are keeping the seven day Sabbath you believe that God is the god of Heaven
You don’t believe in Allah you don’t believe in Krishna you don’t believe in salassi you’re serving The God Who created the world in seven days and you’re honoring his seventh day Sabbath and you believe in the spirit of Prophecy you believe in the sanctuary you believe that there’s clean and
Unclean food and because of that you’re not going to be able to buy yourself and the question then becomes what where are you going to stand are you going to give into what they say to do so that you can go and buy you can sell you can provide for
Your family or are you going to stand on the word of God and trust God that that has told you that a thousand are going to stand at your side and at your right hand and your left and the plagues are not going to come now you are you going
To believe in that God or are you going to Bow so we have to be actively engaged in sharing this gospel as as The Three Angels message refer to the Everlasting gospel two person so that they can come into relationship because the time is going to come when we’re not the line is
Going to be drawn it’s going to be a very distinct line there’s no fence to for anybody to sit on and so you’re going to have to be able to say I’m either on that side or on that side and so we have to be actively engaged in
Sharing this gospel and this gospel brings hope this gospel will change people’s lives I mean there are young men out there who I I ly believe that most of them they get hooked on certain things and it seems as though there’s nothing else in this world for them but
This gospel brings hope and it brings transformation and things that you would have never imagined could happen in your life God can do it but we have to be the ones that are actively carrying it so I believe that we I simp I mean it’s
Simple but I know for many of us we refuse to do it we refuse to go and tell people about the God that we serve and I think that’s that’s the primary thing that needs to happen you know I I’m H I’m happy that you’re you’re speaking about that Adrian
Because when we look at the church in itself uh we realized of course you know we talking about um and last week we were talking about retention some areas of retention and all these different things here and we find that a number of don’t do that bro don’t do that um we
Find that even a lot of our strong or what we consider to be strong Seven Day Advent stalwart Believers are walking away from from the faith um and it could be for so many different reasons the interesting thing about it is that you know the Three Angels message especially the
First areas of the F the first and second um message it speaks about the warning and so many of these warnings that that that come into play and I am wondering and this is for for for Samuel we would realize that in our Seven Day Adventist Church that the the
Gospel our preachers even from the point the times of of the millerites movement they we have been speaking about uh the god that changes the god that manifests the god that um uh uh gives hope and and all of the the these things and many of
Us even today even this very moment are still a lot shaken because of him having not or or him not coming or have not come as yet and a lot of us are growing tired of waiting tired of hearing that oh he coming tired of hearing well you
You know he didn’t he didn’t come then but he’s going to come so my question here is why do you think even though the Bible declares so strong and so pointedly and so pointedly that the three Angel me Three Angels message is a construct and a and a foundation for us
To guide Our Lives specifically leading towards the second coming of Christ why do you think that we are still even at this point even as a seven a strong considered quote unquote strong 7eventh Day Adventist brothers and sisters why do you think that we are so shaken that
We are running away from the church as opposed to you know I I scribbl down here it says you know the early Advent Adventist felt a sense of unity confession and deep Brotherly Love in the face of disappointment that was pre well that was just around the time of
The 1844 um uh debacle they felt this this comradery my question here is noting that Christ is at the cusp of coming Jesus is at the cusp of coming why do you think that we as as seven Adventists are running away and I’m not saying so many of us but there are
Number of persons who are running away from the church as opposed to huddling closer and and binding the Brotherhood or The Sisterhood to wait for this second return why do you think that this is happening I I would like to draw reference to when Paul was in in jail and his Brethren was
Praying for him at that time the new Believers and the most seasoned believers they were very candid with each other they were able to confess their sins one to another and and support each other and build each other up in this day and age I don’t believe
That a lot of churches especially 70 Adventist churches as we Proclaim to have the truth we are not very candid with each other people are people have thrown out of the church because of sins that they would have committed but whether they were found out or they would have confessed their
Sins they would have been excommunicated from the church because of these things and many of the Believers do not feel like the church is a safe place the church is supposed to be a hospital for the sick we ex we we are supposed to expect that there are people in the
Church who have committed sins big or small sins in our perspective Sin is Sin in God’s eyes and I believe that in a in a relay we supposed to pick up the Baton where our brothers fall or where they Dr where they grow we and we supposed to continue the
Race and support them so that we can all reach the fin line because the race is not for the Swift but for those who endure to the end it’s not a competition for who can be the most holy but who can be the most humble we must be willing
To help our Brethren regardless of the sin that they would have committed we must be able to support them and build them up we must we we should be able to also let them know that they would have done something wrong and explain to them why it is
Wrong because as hard as it might be to believe there are many Brethren and sister in the church who are committing sins and they are unaware as to why it is wrong they might know it’s wrong you know but they don’t know why and I think
That that one of the main reasons why the sin keep repeating themselves so question do I because I’m listening to you and I understand exactly where you’re coming from my question here is do you think that we have not as a Christian Society specifically seven Adventist Church that
We have not explained to a lot of our followers exactly what the Tre The Three Angels message really means and how impacting it is on our lives today is it do you think that that could probably be a a situation and and we probably need
To do a better job at at marrying the Three Angels message with how we live our lives today absolutely I think that a lot of new Believers come into the church and they know the basics let me let me let me for a lack of a better with the basics of what they
Are getting themselves into do you believe that you know Christ died for your sins do you believe that the seventh day is the holy Sabbath etc etc but in terms of the history the Theology and the things that they need the the foundations that they need these things
Aren’t fleshed out they are like children who have been thrown into the water and now they have to figure out how to swim the members of a church dependent on their on how long they’ve been depending on how long they’ve been on the walk with Christ as you the longer that you walk
Or the longer that you exercise you’re supposed to get stronger but you can only get stronger with a guide cuz there are people who go to the gym and have been in the gym for years talking about five seven years in the gym and they have reached a plateau and they cannot move
And it’s the same way in the church a lot of people who are in the church the hospital they have been taking the medication which is the the sermons every Sabbath but they are not seeing any spiritual growth and you want to know why they are taking in these sermons and
These sermons are on on a specific level and what you see as basic knowledge like I I understand what the pastor is saying I I I can resonate with this somebody who has just come to the church or might have been in the church for two three
Years they might not be able to understand it and that is that’s why as as members we we must help our brethren we must have that open communication and for if a Brethren can’t understand something you mustn’t be like well you in the church years now you’re supposed to
Understand this we must humble ourselves and try our best to explain it as much as possible we must be able to confess our sins one to another and we must be able to lift each other up I thanks a lot um Sylvester you know you’ve made a
Number of valid points I’m gonna I’m gonna let Adrien jump in here because I saw his hand peeping out through the side of my screen uh Adrian what what exactly you want to add to this conversation um two words jump out at me as I listen to brother Sylvester um one is teaching
And the second one is Doctrine now and I’m not trying to throw any stones or anything like that I mean I just try to do my work in my area the is of the vineyard I think that we have not focused enough on teaching or maybe it is that as time has
Progressed and we have tried to remain relevant our Focus has been sometimes preaching which if we were to use simple terms can sometimes equate to providing an encouraging message or a motivational message to the church instead of teaching and why say this is because as Sylvester was explaining he suggested that many people
Don’t understand why something is sin or what is the danger of doing something and that only comes from teaching and one of the things that we have seemingly gone away from is preaching the doctrines uh you may get a second coming sermon but you seldom ever get a 2300 Day
Sermon you will seldom ever get a sanctuary sermon you will seldom ever get a trinity sermon if you get these things you may get them at a crusade but once we get into the building which is where we are consistently it’s almost as though these things are no longer valid how ever
These things are what God wants to use to establish our faith he said that all scripture is given by inspiration of his spirit and this the the scriptures are profitable and the one of the first things that was mentioned was for so we have reproof instruction Doctrine these are some of
The first things the these are these are so we God is concerned when he gave us his word it is to teach us things to teach us what is right and to teach us what is wrong and so if we have gone away in our approach to the congregation and
Even to the world because ultimately and especially in these Modern Times And I guess thank God for Co before Co we didn’t have inverse on um on YouTube and Facebook and so with the Advent of the pandemic and finally recognizing that there is a large space out there called
Social media and the the internet where we can carry the gospel even there we aren’t drawing the line and letting people know that this is what God has called us for we’re not just here and so I don’t want to C but we are not like
A mega church in in um Texas um with a guy that does very good motivational talks we’re not that and as much as 7 Day Adventists have been noted as having good singers and good music we’re not hsung yes we’re not b and we’re not the one that my wife
Likes um oh man elevation I can’t remember not elevation not elevation maveri MAV we not aav City now I’m not trying to cast a shadow on them or suggesting that we can’t use any songs or even get a motivational word I’m not talking about that I’m talking about the fact that we
May not we may be falling short of living up to our calling hence instead of doing what Revelation 14 says because we believe that these three angels are three Messengers and this is our input because this is what we here for this is what the 7day Adventist Church exists
For nobody else is preaching the Three Angels message but we’re not preaching it and we’re not teaching it yeah and so we’re going to find ourselves in the problem where the hospital has a lot of sick people but I was waiting for you to say
That part I was waiting for you to say that nobody’s going to be getting better why because we’re not actually giving them God’s medication we may be giving them the things that somebody else has prescribed but God has some things that he has specifically prescribed for us to
Get well and not well according to the world standards but well according to his word and so those two words are very important to me as as brother Sylvester was speaking the teaching and Doctrine listen Adrien I am happy that you said that and you know our our chat
Is is inundated with a number of persons who are actually agreeing with you you know um uh thanks to Rodney Smith and and Kyle and some of the others who are actually sharing and suj Gore who actually sharing in and I’ll just probably read a few of them in in a
Little bit but you know that’s a problem I realized that uh sometimes we are so we’re so happy and exuberant and exuberant to to preach A good sermon but we’re not preaching a lot of times we’re moving away and I’m not saying that what we preach is not good sermon because we
Do preach some good sermon but where does the Three Angels message good sermon come in just the way he said where is where is the the the sanctuary good sermon um that we need to learn where is the 2300 the prophecy in inundated in the conversation where are
The conversations about uh some of the other strongholds that we actually need to learn about because what you said we have a branded message we Wen formed because of the Catholic method we were informed and listen I I I call in name if you don’t want to call I call we were
In formed from the Roman Catholic and granted we all came out of that structure we can’t we can’t deny that however our mandate is not theirs we we have a very personal very intimate very uh um a strong message that’s called The Three Angels message and unfortunately a part of
Our this is where I’m going to water down my language I listen to you Adrian I know I know um this is where sometimes we get into a lot of trouble because a lot of our speakers our prolific speakers um and there nothing wrong with preaching love there’s nothing long with
Preaching hope and and and all the listen it’s needed it’s not especially in this world but I am not Adrian you work at the bank I don’t think that they’re going to to tell you to sit behind your desk and talk insurance I’m not I don’t think that
They’re going to tell you to go sell talk about sugar and about how the TV Works no you have a you have a specific message to give to a people and our message of 7even Adventist should be understanding what the Three Angels I listen I love the Three Angels message
Why because it’s very pointed is it’s three Dynamic um conversational uh com commands reflection um expression of what God wants us to know and what will happen and I think we’re doing ourselves a dis disservice and doing God a dis disservice when we preach all of these
Other when we preach all of these other things and not give our folks some good old Bible and so I’m I’m gonna leave that one here anyways um before I get myself in trouble Adrian always says Sean Sean pull it back and I know Adrian sometimes the
Listen the flesh the flesh is yeah nonetheless um Samuel listen we are in the we’re in the era where social media takes to takes a hole and I remember Adrian talking about that we have social media we have come out of the body of covid and even in covid we learned how
Zoom Works zoom and things happen we had conversations we had podcast we had um shows we had um uh Church listen we had church and if anybody didn’t understand what church listen Church happened on Zoom unfortunately our churches are still struggling to get the message across on on social media do you think
That we have we’re still struggling to learn what social media or the social element or that platform can do for God’s message to glorify his name to to allow some people in some areas that don’t know him to understand what his name means what his name stands for and
What we automatically should be doing in this grand scheme of this thing called Ministry do you think that we’re missing the Mark I’m not talking about church in person I’m talking about know social media because the Three Angels We that’s like a Church Without Borders we can we
Can we can reach the unreachable we can reach the marginalized we can meet so many different persons do you think that we are still struggling as a 7day Adventist Church do you think that we’re struggling uh to get that message out through the social media element um I I was actually on Instagram
Yesterday and I was on the three ABN um page and I was watching one of their ads not their ads um their stories and I was thinking to myself look at how seamless this transition is right because it’s like you’re watching an entire video each story is limited to 30
Seconds right but when people are putting stuff on their status you can see that there’s like a break in between a like a one minute video so you’ll see 30 seconds and you see a pause and then another 30 seconds when their stuff is up you’re so enthralled by it that you
Don’t even realize that there is no break at all because it it feels like a seamless video and 10 years ago 3 ABN was not like that 3 alen was it was it was more more stuff was in person than anything sure they had their social
Media stuff but more stuff was in person than anything they would go to the places and they would Minister but what a lot of churches especially Caribbean churches have failed to do after Co CU Co was supposed to be a turning point where we were supposed to use technology
And become more proficient in it at the end of Co So Co was supposed to be a transition to okay we have this technology and now we should use it because we don’t have any other way to get the Mage across because everyone is inside and limited to coming out
Meetings Gathering and whatnot now that we have left that body during during that time we should have been working as a church to get it online now is the time that we we get our ease up we supposed to coming more proficient if you are not able to put up
Stories on an Instagram page find a young person find a middle middle-age person find someone who is proficient enough in doing that to be able to make who can do videography and then send it to the social media manager so that we can have stories up on Instagram
Facebook Tik Tok all of these Social Media stuff have been branded and and given a a bad rap but they are only tools and tools have uses in the same way how you could use a hammer to break a window and cause destruction you can
Use a hammer to build a house in the same way we can help build the house of the Lord by becoming more proficient or using those who are proficient who are in the church and furthering the message becoming more text savvy so that while we we not we’re not trying to
Um we’re not trying to lower our values or anything but we’re trying to encourage or have platforms for both The Young and the old where it’s inside Church where the more seasoned or senior members can have the service and the young people can see it on social media and see how it is
Attractive we have to live the attraction that is Jesus Christ because Christianity is attractive when you start to live for Christ it becomes Comes This sort of fire inside of you I I’m speaking from personal experience when I was a child I was very on fire for Christ because of adventurers and
Pathfinders while they were teaching you spiritual Concepts they were making it fun when you teaching and preaching the gospel we supposed to tie them together preaching and teaching and there’s a time and place for both sometimes you can do both at the same time depending on your proficiency you have to not make
The this Christian life seems so boring and the only way to do that is spending more time with Christ because you can’t have fun with someone that you don’t know to the same extent that you would if you knew them because there would be that sort of familiarity that sort of
Kinship that you can you know bond with them you know there are things that you can Bond Christ struggled and we struggling right now and through that struggle we can build on that and as Christians we have been told that we’re going to struggle through this
Life and and that is that is something that we could rejoice in because even though we struggling we know that after this workout we’re receiving great gains and and it is promised to us it is promised to us so when we are using this social media we must become more
Proficient in it we must be we we can’t have this mindset of well I too old for this or I don’t use that or whatever the prohibiting mindset might be my father didn’t want to use no kind of Technology at all but I didn’t give up
On him at all every single day I teaching him the same thing over and over again now this man is uploading videos on WhatsApp searching YouTube videos learning how to cook new recipes off of YouTube and sending morning good morning messages and all kind I’m like
Look at how far this man has come and all because I didn’t give up on him so we must not give up on each other when it comes to things like this we must not see it as oh well God never tell us to use social media God has given us the
Wisdom the knowledge and understanding to use these tools we we don’t we should never have have quitter I can’t do this mentality in the church I can do all things through Christ who has strengthen me and it’s only through that strength that we can get more proficient with these things amen Adrian jump
In yeah um very good point and mean I love to hear that testimony about your dad because trust me I probably need to link you up with my dad now that you you’ve done a good work with your dad um but if you notice the the in the Three
Angels messages angel number one and Angel Number two sandwiches angel number three sandwich Angel Number Two and both of them fly in the a with a sense of urgency urgency yeah and I for me when I think of urgency I think of something that requires my attention and also some level of of
Sincere dedication and for the most part I think we are struggling there and maybe as we look at these Three Angels in this week’s lesson hopefully it will spark a fire in us because if we who claim to have heard this message and have accepted this message M and dedicated to
Carrying it or dedicated to to sharing it with others and have that what Sam spoke about have that Joy about it knowing that in meeting Jesus he has totally transformed my life and so I want everybody to experience this same Jesus and I want you to know of the
Things that I learned and I want us to learn more because the there is so much more and so these angels remind us that it’s a message that is not only urgent because they flying and then the two of them the same one and two again they use
A loud voice so it’s not something that’s supposed to be hidden it’s something that’s supposed to be carried to all the Earth and so whatever tools we can find we supposed to be excited to use it Sean so if it’s WhatsApp let’s use WhatsApp if it’s I don’t have a Tik
Tok account I don’t have never even logged into Tik Tok I I probably need to get a Tik Tok account I barely ever go on my Instagram trust me I only got an Instagram church thank you but I mean whatever tools we see that we can use because the reality is
If if and if if as older Minds we think oh all kind of sinful things happening there then that means that Sinners are there and if Sinners are there supp suppos to not to partake in the Sin we supposed to go there to tell them come
Out of her my people that you receive not her plagues come out of Babylon because Babylon is fallen and so that’s where we’re supposed to be carrying the message and let’s not be afraid of any place because God has promised that he’s going to be with us I think one of the
Questions in the lesson this week asked what one of the promises and one of the promises that I take with me everywhere I go is when Jesus found lo I am with you always and I am not afraid to go anywhere when we go out on the field th
Can be backing if we’re supposed to go to that house I am going to approach the yard unless the do the dog is going to come to bite me I’m like as small as a mustard seed my brother that’s right and so I I just want to encourage us to look
At these messages from these angels and let it Inspire us to do what God has called us to do and move how he has called us to move listen you know I am I am really I’m really um heartened by all of the conversations that we’re having here you
Know and it it caused me to read again you know those three as you were speaking Adrian and and and as um Samuel’s wrapping up it caused me to go back and look at the Three Angels message and you know funny enough you said something that was so pointed there
Is an urgency it’s it’s as if listen we need to get this done now something is going to happen and I think sometimes that’s part of our ministry that we don’t realize it’s sort of laser fear you know we got some time and it it’s not necessarily that anybody is thinking
That we need to be lazy fair I just think that sometimes it’s just probably because of our culture is one person asked me a few years ago um I was in the states and they they asked me this why is it that sometimes you know as Caribbean people we just you know we
Just Lazard di it’s just like e everything everything cool man everything nice don’t worry about it we going to get it there is not a sense of vir I think sometimes it comes from our cultural appreciation more than even our acceptance of ignorance and it’s out of
Sometimes ignorance that we do a lot of things and it seeps into our church to cause us to be very laser Fe like we got tomorrow we got the internet we worri about we can do that tomorrow and I think a lot of times too and not hitting any specific individual I think
Sometimes we just like we us having the internet social media um you know when and I don’t like to compare you know places that I I go to but I sometimes find that whereas we have and believe it or not we have the technology right in our backyard right in
Antiga uh we have our Personnel young middle-age and the much more mature we have the human resource we have all of these individuals I think sometimes we are so afraid of letting persons in through the front door to sit around the round table so that they can get things
Done and and I think if we keep on doing that what ends up happening is that we keep on doing the same old same old and we’re not going to get the the effect that we that Ministry is supposed to have a lot of times you know you you
Spoke so pointedly about um Crusades and I I I believe that Crusades do have their impact awesome awesome I find that I find that when we leave Crusades we we go to a church where there is redundancy where there is limitations where there are a sense of
Don’t do this because you’re back in the house of God and I truly believe that if the Three Angels message is so urgent at a crusade it should be urgent in the church if it’s so urgent on the battlefields when we go out on Sabbath afternoons to go and evangelize to a
Bunch of people it should be urgent in the church and so social media should be a platform for urgency the minist the the the the the preaching should be a a a call for urgency the teaching should be a practical approach for us to be urgent with not only telling people
About the message but our for our lives to be transformed so that God can be seen through the Urgent in our lives and I understand that church is church and church you know we like to say church has its place guess what God’s place is always in church God’s place is always
In in evangelism God’s place is always on social media God’s place is always in Crusade so when we look at the three agan message I see just what um um my brother Adrian said there is a sense of consumed and utter urgency that our church needs to understand when you look
At some other churches and you know the funny thing about it I have the opportunity of being around them doing a number of things with them and that’s the bad part about it is that you you realize that the aggression and the urgency in some of these non-even
Adventist Church is so far greater than in our 7 Advent church and I have no I have no problems in saying that and so I re you know our our message for uh in I think it’s the inest it speaks about the preparation an appeal to prepare God is
Calling us at this very moment just as how the Three Angels message was so aggressively um important and not only aggressively important there was an urgency to get that message to us there needs to be an urgency in our own lives to do it in our our own lives as well as
Get it to a community that is hemorrhaging but we’re going to jump further I I I don’t think anybody had anything more to jump on so there’s another element called an everlasting gospel an everlasting gospel and of course we we see it in the way in which
Um the I think it’s the second Angel message where it speaks about well is it am I correct Uh don’t see it but it’s coming to me any which ways there’s an everlasting gospel that the Angels uh followed through with it doesn’t make a difference is the first the second or the third but it speaks about the um the message that Contin it doesn’t ever change you were saying something
Adrian sorry it’s the you can hear I can hear you now okay it’s the first Angel um the angel fly the midst of Heaven having Everlasting gospel it is unto them that dwell on the earth and to Every Nation Kings Tong and people with a l voice
Fear God give glory to him for the hour of his judgment is come worship him that made Heaven Earth Sea and the fountains and of waters a and you see that’s the interesting part about it and this is where I really want to home into to Every Nation tribe language and people
It’s not just our community my question to to to you Adrian um noting that the fact that the angels have been beckoning on us to up to to prepare they came with the message they’re telling us the message now they’re telling us listen prepare because this is coming it’s not
You know like when I remember and I don’t want to jump back all the way there but remember when we were a little bit younger um Adrian and a hurricane was crumming who was on on the TV do you remember the person that was on the TV
Philbert Mason there we go and his thing was prepare prepare from the time you saw listen before he came on the TV every was like yeah man yeah he coming now but ah listen I because you knew now that it was coming it it’s now that the Three Angels
Message are telling us prepare but outside of preparing it’s no evident it’s you can literally see everything Chang in around you here is knowing that the message warns us about babon and how it’s falling and all these different elements about um society and all of those things creeping into our
Church creeping into even the message itself you know it’s now our message is now being diluted by the the the the preaching that we’re doing or even the teaching that we’re doing I my question here is knowing that we have all of these different false and Confused
People and teaching my question to you is Adrien um H how do we combat the falseness knowing the fact that it has already taken root the falseness in the teaching the falseness in the preaching and knowing that fact that because there’s some falseness in teaching and preaching
There’s some confused many of us who are watering down the Three Angels message to know it not even being the Three Angels message anymore it’s just a message it’s not even three Angel it’s just a message how do we come back noting the fact that we’re now in the
Phase of we’re now past the preparation we’re now in the phase of the doing it’s not hearing about preparing it’s now in the doing how do we as Christian folk sevenly Adventist folk understand that we need to make some changes what do we do how do we do
That um you know one of the first things that I think that we need to your volume is a little bit soft yeah I I had to use my Bluetooth and I don’t okay no problem no problem no problem sorry okay let me try this one um hope you can hear me a
Little bit better yeah um so we have to one be in the word um and two we have to be connected to the spirit of God now Jesus Promised his disciples that when the spirit comes he’s going to lead them into all truth and the reality is if we
Are not in tune with God’s word and God’s spirit we are going to be carried away with every and any wind of Doctrine and so they said the vaccine is the mark of the beast and 7day Adventists who have been serving Jesus in the church been to every Crusade every Daniel and
Revelation series yet still are saying oh I’m not taking the vaccine because that the be and I’m like really really how did we get to this I mean because talk about what if and what but so if we are in the word and um you know the prophet to the remnant sister
Ellen White said that if God’s people were studying his word as they should then there would be no need for the testimonies for true but it’s so it’s obvious that we’re not studying the word as we should hence the need for the testimonies but we’re not even willing
To read those so we’re not willing to study the word we’re not willing to read the testimonies and so everything that comes around that sounds feasible um that sounds nice and you know if you have the right person presenting it with the right tone and with enough gestures that get you
Interested and excited a lot of people will listen to these people and it’s sad because God has made it possible that we don’t have to be led astray he said that the deception is going to be strong in the last days and he said it’s going to
Be so strong that if it were possible it would deceive the very elect but in saying that he’s also saying the I guess because of the lifestyle of the very elect they would not be deceived but if it were possible so the very elect I want believe were like that that church
Um that Paul went to and when he preached they went home and opened their Bibles to see if the things that he said at church were actually so these days we are you know ear you were talking and I about Revelation when you I think you mentioned lackluster and instead of lackluster I
Kept hearing Le oia have Merc Mery because because Le oia thinks that they’re good yeah they don’t need anything need anything and Jesus says you need everything you are wretched you are miserable you are poor and you are blind but yet you think that you need nothing and Jesus says because
You aren’t even hot or cold I have to spew you out why because there’s nothing I can do with you because you don’t see that you have a need and so unless we recognize that we need the spirit of God and the word of God to be on the right path and so
Anything that somebody stands up in the Pulpit or I see on YouTube or I see wherever I need to go to the word to find out what does the word say about this and if I can’t get confirmation from the word I don’t care how good you
Sound I don’t care how good you made me feel I’m not going to follow you why because you your words have to follow in line with what and the word doesn’t have to in line with what you said you know you have to fall in line with God’s word
Because I am God’s child I am God’s servant and I’m seeking to live by God’s will for my life and so these are to me these are the two tools that we need we need the spirit of God and we need the word of God and if we have these working
Together because God has said the Holy Spirit you know refer to him as the spirit of Truth so if you have the spirit of truth in your life and you are studying the word of God which is the truth then you will not be led astray I love that bro you know
Sometimes we we fail to Rel um understand that God is not somebody that you tuck in your back pocket and only when you need him you pull him out you know like ah God I have the number here for God let me call him up and see exactly no no
No you know a lot of us treat God like that you know when we need him that’s when we pull him out not necessarily that we wake up in the morning and we need him we leaving the house and we need him there’s something happening on
The road and we need him you know sometimes we need to say a prayer in our heart we need him we don’t treat him that way and if when we start realizing that we need the unadulterated truth called the Bible to be a constant reality in our lives we won’t truly
Understand why the Three Angels message and what needs to happen on a daily basis so that we can navigate this path the Bible says that we spre we we we wrestle not against flesh and blood and see if if we understand that we realize that it’s not John Cindy and Andrew who
We’re fighting against it’s some things that we can’t see and the Three Angels me message prepares us for that inevitable the thing that we can’t see as well as we can but in trusting in God and understanding that we need to dive back into the word and understand what
God is telling us and showing us that’s the only way that we are we can understand listen we’re down to a few more minutes we we just have another probably 10 minutes to go and so I’m going to do two things I’m going to ask another question and well the last
Question I’m gonna ask I’m want to ask um for Adrien and and Sylvester to to to to spill on that one but but Sylvester I’m need to ask you this question and I’m going to jump to our last question um in Revelation Ians 147 reading here
Uh it calls us to fear God and give glory to him how how do you think showing reverence and obeying God’s Commandments um is connected to giving glory to God in our daily lives so I say this again when we look at the the scripture Revelations 14:7 it really
Truly calls us to fear God and that’s what it says fear God and give glory to him how do you think it shows reverence and obeying God’s Commandments noting the fact that it says the an everlasting gospel how do you think showing reverence and obeying God’s Commandments is connected to
Giving glory to him in our daily lives well for any leader in any country the kings of old whether it be Solomon or David all of these men their Glory was manifested based on how their subject view them there was a song that I I heard
When a king is good we say long live the king I feel like I feel like somebody more Senor people they that song but um it’s a really really old old song it’s almost 40 years old and um I think that we as his subjects we show glory to him through
The Obedience of his Commandments simply because we would not show glory to someone who we do not respect it’s a matter of showing respect based on the boundaries the Commandments the principles that he would have set for us and that he would not have only
Set but he sent a son who lived these principles as his lifestyle as an example towards us for us with us and while we were yet sinners his son died for us the same sort of sacrifice that you would have seen Jesus do and go
Through he calls us to do that as well it shows a sort of homage or tribute to that same sacrifice and we would only do this out of love and the main reason for that is because he has given us even his own son Freedom of
Choice when Jesus was in The Garden of Gethsemane one of his most Fen prayers was that if this cup be passed from me nevertheless let not my will but thy will will be done and it is with this same mentality we must have when we follow his Commandments because when we allow his
Will to be done in our lives the only way that this can occur is by following his Commandments it’s by following through with his daily sacrifice sacrificing self and allowing ourselves as a vessel to be filled with his holy spirit so that we can be used when something is is glorified we
Have to be viewing ourselves as a glass in that when his light hits us all of the beams spread out and thus more light is cast on the darkness around us listen weird it’s interesting because sometimes when you look at when you look at the study of even Revelations you sometimes get a
Little tormented a little scared a little worried and you’re saying Lord Jesus boy I lie yesterday right and oh goodness Jesus I know that going keep me out to Heaven that lie heavy and you know God is actually simply saying to us you know um you keep forget you keep focusing on
The lie and I focused on one simple thing that I am the way the truth and the life and if you come before me all you but have to do is make a conscious decision to do better but this is the first element of you doing better ask me for forgiveness but in
Asking me for forgiveness be Resolute on the fact that I am the only one who can change you but but you have to first give me your all and sometimes when we look at even the Three Angels message it it allows us to grow concerned and we get worried you
Know what as I said to my brother yesterday said I said to him because I was talking about the same thing because you I was using the lesson study to talk to him about Christ and this is that’s exactly what he says when you look at the Three Angels message you know you
Get worried and you get so so anxious and I said you know what that’s exactly what we’re supposed to be we’re supposed to be worried about the things that we have not done we’re supposed to be so conscious about the fact that we are not giving we’re not
Walking to Christ but we’re more walking away from him and and so worried about if all of these things atro atrocities are supposed to happen if I am not walking hand inand with Christ what’s going to become of me and you know I think when I said that to him he said
Okay well you know what you’re kind of making me scared I said sometimes the gospel sometimes need to scare you for you to wake up and realize that there’s something more that you need to study about not scare you so that it CS you to

Truly worshiping him yet there are times that we may Express Thanksgiving through song through prayer through adoration but until God has complete control of Our Lives then we have not gotten to a place where um we worshiping him and for those who may be listening who have not

These small things in life or things that we perceive as small because everything that goes around around us is a miracle that God keeps on giving so even even though we might be seeing his works and miracles in our lives we can never forget that we only receive
These Miracles because of who he is he is someone who gives freely and abundantly above all that we could ask for sometimes we don’t even need to ask for it because he is someone who has an intimate relationship with us he is waiting on the wing like a teammate and on a soccer
