What’s good with it in the hood with it welcome back to the collective Clips where you know the gun tends to get it in right and so today as you can see I’m get with it don’t mind my burner over here it’s dirty than a [ __ ]
But I’m from the hood and I live in the hood so not necessarily my hood but someone else’s Hood but I’m an invited guest so um today what I’m going to do is I’m going to make me a jailhouse burrito right I wanted to make a jail
House burrito burito so I’m going to cut up my uh meat sticks first and foremost and for those of you that don’t know the recipe man I’ll give you the recipe but U this is just my style of doing it everyone else has their own different
Ways of doing it you know um and I wanted to tell you guys a little story you know I wanted to talk about noros of the 9s you know Northern California gang members man uh Cho gang members Northerners right and I know I’ve spoke
On it a lot man and I’ve told a lot a lot of different stories I can’t get this [ __ ] meat out of the package what’s going on here they built this [ __ ] for tough so anyways um when it comes to noral gang members you know in the 90s it was a whole different
Mentality we were just coming into our own right um and the mentality was the establishment of a lot of gangs see there’s a lot of old school hoods like in San Jose Oakland San Francisco Selenas that have been around but a lot of the gangs that were in the Central
Valley um the 209 area where I’m from you know weren’t around a lot of them got established in the 80s and ‘ 90s so they were pretty what you would considered new now it’s 30 40 years in the making now it’s you know they’ve been around for a long time they got
Generations but we were back maybe the first second generation I know in my hood I was first generation um and there wasn’t you know A A A playbook to go by you kind of just did your own thing did what you did but I started to notice in
The early 90s man when I went to the Youth Authority that’s when the northal establishment up north started to become deep you know there started to become a lot of homeboys from Stockton Modesto Turlock Merced Madera terer County was always wiggling man there was just a lot
Of h a lot of hint there right and what I enjoyed most about the 9s and the northo movement was the canal limo man it was like no other it was um was like a Brotherhood it was like joining a an exclusive fraternity right and everybody
Back then it wasn’t about you know U trying to expose people or trying to pick through the [ __ ] of what people had going on it was more embracement and and and the building of numbers and the building of uh you know respect and so we respected each other
Man you know somewhere along the lines we lost our ways and they started to become red on red which was basically uh hoods fighting hoods and you’re always going to have that in gangs you’re always going to have everybody thinking they’re number one right you’re always going to have every everybody uh want
Look at I’m using scissors we didn’t get these in prison um to cut my meat stick up right but what we always had was uh you know we were trying to prove that we were the baddest you know I think that’s a gang members uh to a fault that’s
That’s what we would were do and they even do now is everybody wants to be have that respect and be labeled the baddest [ __ ] on the Block right um and not everyone could be that you know you have to accept uh L’s with W’s you have to understand that you’re not
Going to win every battle or every war but the whole mentality as a game member especially in the 90s was to try try your best man and best believe that was the time of G that was the time of North and South there was a lot of Southerners
That were establishing up North so there was a lot of War there a lot of [ __ ] going on man got my meat stick cut up I’m good in the hood right um you know there was a lot going on let me grab my jalapenos real quick so what I like to do
Is I like to uh have the meat cut up and then I throw in some jalapenos let me grab a fork excuse me one time for my mind I’m Ill prepared this is just real hood [ __ ] you know I’m not going to sit here and have everything all set out for
You I’m just going to grab it as I go you know I felt like making a burito like [ __ ] it even when you’re on the streets a burito hits different so I like to put jalapenos mix it with my meat my carne kind of marinated in the
Hall of Fame yours I like to use a lot because uh I’m Mexican you know the it doesn’t bother me it bothers me if I don’t have [ __ ] Chile now I’m bothered so anyways getting back to uh the north Angel story right so I remember there was a lot going on and I
Think the difference man let me grab these s pass I only I do two soots to the head that’s all you need you know Chile for those that remember Chile it’s always the best you know um so there was a lot going on a lot of homeboys uh were
Finding themselves caught up and you know the what I’m liking about right now the the era that we’re living in is a lot of those homeboys that got locked up in the 90s for a murder case or got locked up you know for assaults or whatever they’re now getting out they’re
Now being released it’s that era to be released and I know a lot of them are like Shell Shocked you know I can only understand I remember just doing my time every time I got out the advancement of the people not only in Gams but in life
In general was so much there was such an advancement with technology and whatever that I was always like damn what’s going on and I always got out of prison with some type of uh um I guess I was institutionalized some type of post-traumatic stress from the things
That I seen see I never was desensitized to the to what was going on I always knew right from wrong I always knew hey that fucker’s getting stabbed he’s getting stabbed I always knew when I was on the other end of The Knife Man it
Wasn’t good but I was doing what I had to do to maintain my integrity and maintain my life right um and that was something that was taught in the 90s you know um that was bred into the northal movement you know that uh there’s going to be a lot of strife
There’s going to be a lot of struggle there’s going to be a lot of [ __ ] that goes on you know um how you’re willing to deal with adversary adversity is the measure of the man you know everybody wants to be a gang member it seems like everybody and and nowadays
Everybody wants to portray the image of a gang member everybody wants to get the tattoos on their face um you know not thinking of the repercussions later on you know if it’s hinder them in getting a job or you know cuz everybody grows up it doesn’t matter even though they got
The homeboy on the beach cruising cruising around the neighborhood believe me it goes through his mind man damn homie when he sees homeboy pass in the nice cars like [ __ ] that was supposed to be me you know I’ve been in situations like that where I was doing dirt bad
Living in the hood roaches roaches on the [ __ ] walls and just just the struggle was real and I was like damn they never told me it was going to be like this well guess what it was never supposed to be like that but I put myself in that type of situation let me
Get some awwa so we can get this water boiling real quick F and yes I do it right out the sink out the manga or out the sink I’m okay turn my little burner on one time from my mind let’s get it to bubbling when you’re making a burrito you want to
Crush the sofa up a lot of people like to smash It On The Ground hey homie this ain’t the shoe no more okay use your hands work a little bit back in the day we used to Smashing on the ground and doing p style and this is just a burrito
I’m not doing it prison style I’m just showing you a prison burrito or jail burrito in the comfort of my own home so anyways take your seasoning packet out put it to the side you know and let that water get to Boiling we don’t want to
Put it in there and [ __ ] the sofa come out all huh so anyway the [ __ ] um you know to take it back then I believe a lot of the the [ __ ] that’s instilled that happens now is people trying to portray you know what we were
Doing back then you got a lot of these youngsters that are like ah these old heads uh uh they don’t know how we do it and and we know absolutely know how you do it the thing is do you know how we used to do it okay I’m talking about Almo and
Love hes and and and not disrespecting and no internet and no [ __ ] man when we [ __ ] pulled up we really pulled up we didn’t schedule appointments to pull up it wasn’t like hey well catch me outside how about that you know now [ __ ] that hes catch me inside how about that
I’m going to be chilling you know I’m too old for that [ __ ] but I remember back in the days did the pullup was real throughout northern and southern California everybody was pulling up and when [ __ ] pulled up they pulled up with these hes ques and everything
You know it was the it was the time of the driveby it was the time when the driveby was getting shut down there was a lot of gang banging going on man it was an ugly situation for the Cho and for the black community whites as well
Man you know they were getting into that a lot of them were becoming skin heads and woods and getting out of prison and being influenced by their older homeboys and you know getting going along those racial lines and I I know in Southern California you have a big uh influence
Of skin heads you know up north in in rural Northern California like in coko County Yuba City U that area you have a lot of um Shasta you know you have a big establishment of woods man so they were definitely getting with the program too you know that’s when uh the crack
Epidemic was hitting it wasn’t meth yet there was crank propenol the prop do back in them days um so there was a lot going on there was drugs there was gang banging there was there was Hina they were getting their [ __ ] on everything was good
Um but I noticed a big change you know a big change from then to now so here’s a little story about the differences back then to now okay when it comes to the noros of the 90s you know back then all the homies um got along you know there
Were some cities where they beefed and and they had old body of warfare for whatever reason man usually it was personal it was something personal that became good business but it wasn’t we just didn’t like you or you didn’t like us man we used to get along with
Everybody we used to be cool the only ones we didn’t [ __ ] with tough you know in my hood was of course Southsiders saniels um or anyone who posed a threat anyone who wanted that smoke we were willing to give it to anybody let me pour the sua in here real quick you know
Let’s get that sofa cracking um and that’s what that was but we definitely didn’t uh go looking for [ __ ] you know I remember in about the 2000s when people started really hunting and looking for adversaries and and we I had home boys that did some things like that but it
Wasn’t necessarily as an everyday thing man we were more into the party the kicking back to trying to come up you know the bag chasing has been happening uh throughout time everyone’s always try to chase a bag man you can’t do nothing funny without a little bit of money
Right you ain’t getting no bi without some TI money so that’s just how it is so anyways I think the differences between the North Angel and the ’90s compared to what they are now um is philosophies you know now everyone’s trying to play gangster or
Now I me there are some real ones don’t get it twisted these youngsters are they’re treacherous they’re vicious but there’s a lot more people that have made the gangs and gang style uh uh um what do you call it I guess [ __ ] mainstream they made it mainstream I
Mean when in your lifetime did you ever think you’ll see Snoop Dogg sea walking at the Super Bowl never never man you know I remember uh when I ran into Crips man the cripping was real that’s why I like CAC he reminds me of the Crips that
I functioned with or that I did time with in the Youth Authority you know uh people like uh uh baby snaps from Legend [ __ ] rest in peace tiny solo from a Tre gangster rest in peace tiny madman from 60s you know uh uh uh spider from Backstreet Watts you know and even
Bloods man like like uh Smiley Ro from neighborhood pyru you know cast Jones on py from uh two PS with a B right I definitely did time with a lot of different africanos and They Carried themselves different you know everything was uh uh um CK or BK or however they
Did it you know they they had a different language it was a trip and then there was cats from the Bay Area you know um and the noro movement we didn’t really trip off the africanos you know the the blacks it was more a lot of love and respect because we grew up
Around each other and and it was just a different mentality back then you know everybody was just trying to get a get a [ __ ] win that’s it facts so anyways I remember a homeboy I have one homeboy right this bottle I call him Marty McFly and the reason I call him
That is Great Scots this bottle is stuck in the ’90s for like I like the 90s 90s R&B ’90s hip hop man ain’t nothing like it right I guess that’s the generation I grew up in so I was always going to have a Sentimental place in my heart but at
The end of the day man I understand that time progresses things change man I have to adapt my adaptability game is strong so I have to adapt to what’s going on but these uh this homeboy uh-uh it sh never happen right he was stuck in the [ __ ] 90s I’m talking
About the VTO that I walked down the street with a red pel suspenders [ __ ] clean ass [ __ ] he’s wearing cavari home’s clean ass shirt and I’m talking about this in the 2000s right brim hat and everything and then when you open his shirt he has a
New kids on the black T-shirt he’s stuck in the 80s and 90s late 80s early 90s they about was real uh oh oh he was on some weird [ __ ] but um let me tell you about his demise and what happened to him so he ran into some kids right
Youngsters in the 2000s and this is back when that song and and Mama e e uh oh when Nelly was popping man everybody was stomping in the earth Force Ones right and the homeboy wasn’t really into that [ __ ] you know he was back on some Nothing But a G thing on some Regulators
Mount up [ __ ] so he’s cruising in his Whip and he had a clean ass [ __ ] Riv uh not a Rivier but a Regal on McLean’s dropped all black old school right doing his thing and um and he’s out of town man I’m not going to tell you exactly
The town he was in because I’m not trying to have people pinpoint the [ __ ] but he was in a town man in the Central Valley doing his thing cruising around and he had just well him and his old lady had just moved there right so immediately people started looking at
Him hey who’s this V you know what I mean this old school V thinks he’s all cool right stuck in the 90s and I’ve always noticed that that the youngsters even in my era we always prejudged older cats it was like we had like an animosity you know remember when I
Started youtubing Gunner you go hard on the youngers I don’t go hard on the younger I just don’t understand the [ __ ] well it was the same thing it’s vice versa they don’t understand the old ways right so automatically hey man this OG thinks he’s bad hes whoopy whoop you
Know what I mean we’re over here stomping in R Force SW I’s over there in his Cortez is right now of course in order to be a noru and then you know a norel um you have to pay homage and respect Toms to those who set precedent
Before you those who put the flag down and laid the foundation and went through the struggle this was one of the homeboys that went through that struggle in and out of Youth Authority um prison you know he did his thing now he’s got his old lady couple kids man he’s just
Trying to chill but he’s still stuck in his time zone right and in his bubble but he wasn’t disrespecting no one well these vaal decided that for no other reason they were going to go vandalize his car just because you know because they didn’t want no [ __ ] dude with a
Regal on their block you know they’re into Honda accor and Acuras and integras and [ __ ] right so um the first night they went they threw a rock through his windshield um and I remember the homeboy calling some of the homeboy like hey bro these FS are on some wild [ __ ] out here
And that was that let me let me drain this water out of the sofa and uh you got to drain all that water to get with the program oh wa it’s about to go downtown I’ll show you guys the finished product when it’s done so anyways the homeboy was like [ __ ] it man
Um they did that they came back about a week later Spen I’m burning myself by they came back about a week later and um they pour paint a paint remover all over his car he had a nice little black paint J it wasn’t all that but I mean it was
Clean right glossy gloss they poured paint [ __ ] remover on his [ __ ] the homeboy was tripping right um so he waited out there in the cuts one night and these youngsters came by and I guess these were little younger little young Northerners man um here’s the coold part
No respect no respect for the Og man who really wasn’t an OG at the time he was just a maybe five six years older than them but you know coming from a different era you know they considered him that and you know he used to see these same youngsters he’d walk down the
Street to the store to get his FS his beone they’d be like hey what’s up OG what’s up OG meanwhile there was some type of animosity in their heart for this OG and not because he was from a different city and you know and these are the the the [ __ ] up things you
Know with the gang mentality is everybody thinks they’re better than everybody or B than everybody that’s what these kids thought let me tell you about these kids right and I say kids but they weren’t children they were over 18 um they came back to his house man and I
Guess this time they thought that they were going to just [ __ ] just destroy his car pop his tires do all that and he shot both of them right he shot both of them and my homeboy is doing life without the possibility of parole right
Now to this day um and it was all it was all over hatred and envy and instead of them getting to know him and realizing he’s just a family man just doing his thing from the an OG from the old school man just you know he wasn’t that bad he was
What set the foundation for them to do what they do see a lot of people don’t realize the sacrifices that a lot of these guys made in the 70s the 80s the 90s even as far back as the 60s see I recognize it and I understand it as a
Cho man I recognize every hardship that any [ __ ] meik went through you know all the way from coming over the Border all the way to you know going through the Zoot souit riots and all the the way through you know I understand my Heritage and my culture and I realize a
Lot of people don’t give us a chance in life to express it the way we want to and those of us that do express it in the style of clothing we wear or how we get down you know and I’m speaking on the North Danel side um we look at are
Ridiculed as trying to be something we not right um and that’s further from the truth anyways the noros of the90s you know played by different rules different regas hes it was very much so uh Gang Related and you cared about the way you looked to the masses and the
Respect that you earn rather than just automatically thinking that you have that respect so anyways this is how it’s going to go down I’m going to put my [ __ ] s out together um you’re going to see what my burrito looks like Hereafter and it was just something I
Just wanted to talk man and speak on you know North Enders of the 90s every city in Northern California had them every city in Northern California was with the activities were they all the same did we all have the same mentality same ways of thinking absolutely absolutely not man I
Remember the vs of terer County man kept that SEO smooth they were always old school low riders B davises whereas in the Bay Area there was more urban influence and wig and what’s up blood and all that um nword was used um in the valley the Central Valley we had our own
Steelo too our steo was more uh uh you know traditional as far as you know sports hat sport teams we did Ben Davis 501s things of that nature white te’s um I guess everyone had their own little ways of doing it uh if I could transport
Back in time I would love to uh you know go on the Block and see what was going on sometimes I miss it I ain’t going to lie I miss the love the homies you know the car the what we used to do um but I
Wouldn’t want to kick it with the homies now see now I don’t understand the [ __ ] now it’s not for me you know uh but back then it was so with that being said man this just something I want to speak on nor engers of the 90s put
Together my burito I’ll show you guys at the end what it’s all about and that’s what it is man this is the gun bab bang bam so we’re GNA see how it came out the burito is done o let’s just see what it’s all about old school old school [ __ ] oh my
Goodness oh my goodness gracious I said what take this paper out of my mouth or I choke and die right here on YouTube a lot of people get a kick out of that one now and that’s what the burrito looks like you see and I’m going to take a taste tester
Louisiana hot sauce you got to have Louisiana tapatio’s good and Tabasco and all that but n n oh hell no prison style take one bite for you guys see what it’s all about oh hell yeah the winner is
