Black Tech Revolution there you go um as we begin to talk about uh Tech and how we’re involved in it but not only that but talk about tech and how it integrates into our community talk about tech and how it’s beneficial to uh uh
Those that uh are in need and we have a lot of work we’re doing with digital Equity um and trying to push that out there but just saying that from what you’re saying CJ we got a lot of stuff coming yeah and I we could begin to talk
About it and the reason why we kind of being koi a little bit it’s because you know at the beginning of the year you start developing your plans you want do roll out yeah you want you want make kind of like walking to the barber shop

From federal government to in uh improve it infrastru so that $70 million that came in uh is now um being put in through I think it’s a Mississippi beam project and don’t it’s BR band I know the B stand for something something but nonetheless uh what they’re doing with
This is they’re continuing to uh expand Brad band in communities that don’t look like ours um and we’re seeing this a lot um and it takes a community to come together to say that we’re going to stand up against this and we’re going to make sure that this a br band expansion
Comes in our communities as well too but not only BR band expansion we got digital uh I’m not laughing what you saying access to digital uh technology go ahead what’s I’m laughing about early by The Uber dog what it’s like this on the Thursday meetings at 10

In the hands of our people as well too A lot of times we get left behind and as we talk about these things that are coming out there that are changing the lives that we live uh and as technology is being Innovative um and being the the thing that technology is if our
Community doesn’t have access to that technology then we get left behind the other part is making sure that we understand the technology digit digital literacy right so we have to understand technology we have to understand um what’s happening in the technology field so we can make sure that our communities
Are always prepared and moving forward so right I think that’s one of the things that we’ve done well is like being ahead of the curve whether it be like how how do we work around the algorithm or the algorithms depending on the platform black rasa has been able to
Um grow exponentially independent of things called digital redlining and and such right yeah so then we say all right well what does it look like for us to advance uh uh legislation or policies that will benefit black folks as it relates to any issue that affects black
Folks right and that that’s where we come in it’s like we we got this this multitude and we say well well how do we deploy this multitude named Blackman on Chaser to affect change so that it can uh create spaces and places and opportunities for the people that
Identify as such right well we were functioning in a decentralized capacity right prior to decentralization really being something that was emphasized as a word right you were y’all were in DC Chuck and I were in Mississippi we had people in Houston we had people Georgia Georgia yeah we had people Virginia
Right and we were using like before Zoom even was like a thing we were using blue jeans yeah jeans we pivoted using blue jeans blue jeans right we pivoted the zoom and Tyson was literally blue jeans I don’t know if you feel the thing or not on the back end doing our camera
Switch so we move from Zoom to Zoom I mean we mooved from um blue jeans to zoom and switcher yeah Studios switcher to streamyard yeah and the reason why I say these things is because I mean we to meet all those folks while we here right yeah I mean

Technology if you’re if if you can’t let’s talk about the streaming economy let’s talk about the Creator economy right which is literally the fastest one of the fastest growing uh economies in the world true social media is outpacing oil right as far as far as uh economically as concern right and if you
Understand that and if you understand that the Creator economy is coming you know I mean it’s coming and AI is is accelerating that right right if you understand that then you understand that if being if you at a disadvantage in Mississippi if you had a disadvantage
In Alabama but you are a creative person but your internet Ain ain’t moving fast enough for you to stream as a gamer or stream as a educator or a creator that teaches people something or stream uh even in the capacity in which we’re streaming right now in Vegas with no
Problem then you begin to understand where the disparity lies and you understand where the wealth Gap then exist and and and even widens uh because people who would have opportunities to uh do gig work people who have opportunities to create uh in spaces like Tik Tock and elsewhere because of
Because of dead spaces or because of not understanding what technology exists to help them accelerate those processes uh you know would be much further behind and and AI is and and some of the other take is going to make that go even faster even with that too and and
Thinking about why it’s important that this we are starting in Mississippi 1 we’re a company that originated out of Mississippi um shout out to too shout out to talo college uh shout out to Jackson Mississippi shout out to Mississippi in general but it’s also understanding too the immense talent
That is in Mississippi right and we know that having uh a place where people can go and have access to things that they normally wouldn’t have access to or that they couldn’t afford in their communities if we’re able to put those things there if they’re able to utilize
Those things to things that they will be able to accomplish with that we think through the lens of even thinking about kind of we see it happening right now if you look at the the stuff coming out of Africa right some of the most uh obscure places in Africa they coming out and
They’re inventing these things out of innovating and building these things and we know that if it from from um um it could be just like the Mississippi Delta right from from coold comes diamonds right and order to get that diamond out of that Co you have to put immense
Amount of pressure on it and we think about the pressure C cooker that Mississippi is it is pressure the pressure that is putting on people poverty is pressure and we know that out of that comes Talent so we have to give people access to uh necessity breeds Innovation that’s right necessity breeds
Innovation and so if you put a tool as powerful as something like a GPT um and the hands are you know chat GPT is coming out with the ability to actually create your own gpts and create your own apps through chat GPT and so that Marketplace is opening soon so if you
Would imagine somebody who uh is coming from a place where they actually have a need and you an absolute need and you Enlighten them on how to really use these tools right you can only imagine what type of uh what type of magic they can come up with or what type of
Creativity they’re going to be able to come up with because they’re coming from a place of real necessity versus someone you know and that that’s not to say that can’t operate from a place a place of privilege and still you know uh create great tools and and Mississippi is a
Black state in the United States of America and we know that as black people we are the most creative people on the face of this planet so we think about the blackest state in America if we give the tools and the resources to the people of that state access what’s
Goingon to happen well access and I I mean when you when we say like that I think that we there has to be a way to ensure that um that does that’s not something that scares the ones who would be um helping us to create the access and and
I’m not saying I’m scared to scare them I’m saying that understanding it it feel I think I think technology is a scary thing for anybody I think I think it I think we have to be strategic and what we have to do is understand too the
Ethics that come along with this as well too we’re we’re moving into a space that is very much a capitalistic uh space we talking about tech we’re talking about big Tech about big money right and we know that once we start talking about these things that there is a certain
Aspect of what happens in our community where we get exploited so we have to make sure that if we are going and we’re having these conversations that we’re gonna have while we’re here in Vegas that we’re talking to companies that actually have the right Ethics in place we’re scrutinizing that thing those
Things to understand if we bring this back to our community will it be a true benefit or will it end up being a detriment to our commit yeah yeah I want to I want to also um shout out NECA who is super super dope you know what I mean
She’s the one we’ve been uh talking to um and she’s really cool as far as you know you know the tech landscape is concerned so I wanted to shout her out as well as a person who who’s been helping us to do what CJ well just get some understanding of this land Escape

Is like when we finally kind of really more so officially announced we’re gonna be talking about this n CES is we knew that we had to be here right if this is the biggest at least as far as we know United States in terms of like you know Electronics right not even
The world not even the world right in the world then we knew that we want to be a global player in this market then we need to be with global players and I think that like I think that now that we get here we feel the energy right uh you
Know I’mma shout out to NECA again for actually give us the landscape I think in part is like you got the NECA and Tiffany and and folks that like really want and shout out to black women that [ __ ] but look and I think that a a buck though uh honestly a lot
Of black women man really carry this brand like and really and truthfully our biggest consumers and users of black are inates with black women more shout out to black women who been suppor us from day one filing up in comment sharing our story sharing everything on Facebook
Instagram Twitter you name it I mean honestly with y’all without y’all uh and that’s not really no discredit to the brothers out there all our followers that really like you know rock with us but we want to make sure that our biggest supporter in fact are black
Women right and 70% of our brand is black women and the numbers the numbers say that numbers numbers at least I I don’t know what y’all putting down on Instagram and Twitter and Facebook 60% hcu yeah and uh the thing is we’ve done the analysis we’ve done the research of
Our audience to know what these things are know so that we can articulate in a very specific way we know who we’re talking we know who [ __ ] with us and we know who don’t yeah that he he said it the way weal that’s facts yeah so look y’all
