Kennedy came and gave us hope with his legendary speech in Berlin when he said in German Berlin years later it was President Reagan who showed the world and the German people that America never lost faith in Freedom and continued to give us support with his demand Mr Gorbachev tear down this wall every
Child in Germany knows this sentence we always knew we were not alone because we had a reliable friend the United States of America when the Americans came everything became good as mentioned I only knew this sentence from stories told by my family yet then in 1989 the wall fell in Berlin
We were in each other’s arms with happiness because we realized that a miracle had happened we feverishly awaited ated reunification and hoped with all our hearts that it would happen many politicians in other countries were skeptical about the reunification of Germany who could blame them after Germany’s Inglorious history yet it was
