Hey everyone uh atimo yacht here it is october 3rd 2013 uh and today we’re going to take a break from every woman in the bible lesson and do a short study that i have entitled invictus a fraternity sorority recital to hell um i know that seems like a very harsh
Title but the more we get into this poem uh the more we’ll find out how intense it actually is and um so i’m just gonna go ahead and dive into a word of prayer really quick heavenly father lord thank you so much for this opportunity to learn your word
And follow where we ask that as we read this you will pour upon us the spirit of the sermon and the spirit of truth followed that we may begin to rightly divide everything that we see in here around us follow word for we know that in our physical flesh there’s
Nothing we know but father lord everything that we are to know begins in the spiritual realm and god we pray o lord that you will teach us your truth so that we can actually know true reality in you um we battle not against western blood but against principalities in high
Places and powers in high places and god i thank you for uh this time together and i thank you lord that we are still given another day to get to know you to understand you and another chance for the lord to work out our salvation in faith and in grace and in obedience
Um i pray in your mighty name o lord that you will focus our minds and hearts on you right now in jesus holy and mighty name i pray amen all right so you guys um the reason why we’re doing this study is because a friend of mine had asked me to
Uh edit his his book which is now on on amazon several months ago in february and um what i found within that book is just a lot of you know things that my spirit just wasn’t uh okay with and one of those things was a poem called invictus by ernest
Henley this is a very famous polo matter of fact it is it is one of the top three inspirational poems of all times it is recited it was recited by nelson mandela and is still being used by several artists musicians political figures celebrities and even religious figures all around the world today
And how i got into this like i said is because a friend of mine asked me to read his book and when i read this poem in his book is something that he looked forward to or he looked up to and that he once resided on a daily basis
Um you know i was i was very my spirit was not okay with that but um what we see just to give you a brief um background my friend pledged in a fraternity in a sorority and he actually said he inside he recited this poem every single time he went to pledge
During whatever they call a probate so i’m just going to go through it really really quick let me read it and then from there we’re going to dissect it the poem goes as this the first stanza is out of the night that covers me black as the pit from pole to pole i
Think whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul in the fell clutch of circumstance i have not went nor cried aloud under the bludgeon of chance my head is bloody but unbowed beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shades and yet the menace
Of the years finds and shall find me unafraid it matters not how straight the gate how charged with punishment the squirrel i am the master of my fate i am the captain of my soul even as i read this this sounds like it should be something recited in a freddy krueger movie
Something you would see in in jason or whatever these films are i’ve never really watched them or cared for them but i know of them because people love them and i hear about it but it sounds like a very terrible horrific scene that we’re seeing here
Like i said my friend said as he’s a he’s a black greek letter organization uh member and even under wikipedia’s invictus search this is what it says the poem is also recited and memorized by most black greek letter organizations during their new member presentation show known as the probate
Initiates are usually required to study this poem during their pledging process now we are going to go back to the word probate later but like i said this is a poem that sent up red flags through my whole being as i read it um crazy thing is a spirit
On that crazy thing wonderful thing the spirit of god told me you know what google this invictus poem under the search invictus satan and so i did and what popped up was uh information that the church of satan uses this as the open epic epigraph so this is something that they
Too recite every single morning whether they worship on a sunday or whatever day they worship they worship the same poem they they recite the same poem um so what you’re reciting as a as a as a as someone seeking to be a part of this organization is the same thing
That people are reciting in the satanic bible so uh and the reason why i keep you know reiterating church of satan or satanic bible i’m here to speak to christians i’m here to to to talk to my brothers and sisters that’s the only reason why i’m doing this because
We as i said before we are continuing to do things that are not uh of god but we do think so that they are um and we don’t we don’t understand because we are still god is still pouring out the spirit of discernment to us
And so a lot of times we do come into these organizations we do uh end up in a lot of situations because of our ignorance but god requires us to seek truth and through his truth he gives us a spirit of wisdom and knowledge and understanding
So before i go any further please don’t take this as me trying to scornfully you know tell you what you shouldn’t be doing i’m not coming at you with a malicious heart but rather a heart to um to educate you about the truth that um i found
And why like i said it was not even my intention to find this but the spirit of god said you know search it under this this search title and so i did and this is what came up so you’re reciting what the church of satan satanic bible
They are reciting every single sunday or whatever day they go into church um so this is what god says about the spirit of discernment first corinthians 2 14 says but the natural man receiveth not the things of the spirit of god for they are foolishness unto him
Neither can he know them because they are spiritually discerned so in order to understand truth not the truth that is fed to us as as truth and it’s actually lies but true reality the reality that most of us cannot see we need the spirit of of god
We need the spirit of this discernment to be imparted upon us his people and so before i even say anything not not anything against my friend but my friend is not a christian um matter of fact he’s he’s into african ancestral religions uh i.e voodoo and uh i think he called it must
He he says he’s a muslim under the sufi muslim sufism i don’t know much about that i googled it and a lot of the things that i found out about that is you know they don’t even make sense to tell you the truth and i’m sorry
For those of you who may be watching this that it doesn’t make sense you know but anyhow so this is what he told me when i said hey do you know what you were reading or what you’re reciting was found in the is i found it in the church of satan
They’re reciting this too this was what his response was we used to recite invic invictus when i pledged i’m pretty sure that it wasn’t the poet’s original intent for it to be the official hymn of the church of satan be that as it may um given that henley
Died in 1903 and the church of satan was established in 1966 he’s right about that however the bible says that out of the mouth your heart speaks so his spirit or his heart was speaking his truth this is what he as has encompassed this is who he is as a man um
We are nothing else with that our flesh is nothing it’s just a vessel we are everything the the way we interpret life the way we breathe the way we walk the decisions we make these are the things that make us and they’re either going to come out of our soul
Our emotions or our spirit but if you do not have your emotions and your soul surrendered to god you will always see things in an irrational way um henley from what i found out was a a young ma a man who suffered from chronic pain all his life he had chronic tuberculosis
He was in the hospital uh several times he actually ended up losing up his his limbs and he was in so much pain and i know that someone who usually is in that type of pain um all pain all suffering that we go through it is easy it’s either gonna make us
Stronger and come closer to god or it’s gonna actually make us deny and reject god because of the suffering that that is we’re facing at that time um so people who are in that type of pain end up not having just physical pain but they they go through a period maybe long like
In his case or short time of a period where um they’re in like deep depression there’s a physical uh grip of death on their life and it’s a spiritual grip of death too they’re in physical agony and if you can remember in in job his wife told him to curse god and die
Because of that much pain the pain he was going through so he was facing so much pain where when his family and friends came to see him they actually found him in a state where they couldn’t even recognize him anymore he had so many scabs and wounds and
And uh whatever you want so many things over his entire body that his family couldn’t see him so you can imagine the type of pain he was going through now joe he could he could have chosen to curse god and die because of his pain but he didn’t um unfortunately we see
That in ernest henley this this pain caused him to draw closer to uh a stance that is that is rebellious and this is actually what people say it’s a it’s an inspirational poem to them because it’s it’s a poem of rebellion it’s a it’s a poem of of never giving up
I guess as they put it um let’s just go ahead and break down the poem i’m not going to read it again but i do want to go stand it to stanza and say what it meant so from the first stanza we see that um he says that he he is uncomfortable
And he is always in control now if you are a christian you have given your life to jesus you are not in control and you are not unconquerable in the sense that you get to do whatever you want and that is okay um secondly he says regardless of my
Circumstance this is how i interpret it because if we go back to it he says um my head is bloody but unbound but unbound so regard regardless of the circumstance or pain or trials that he’s been through he is going to remain unbowed now we know that we go through trials and tribulations
God says that he he chastens his his children the reason why we suffer is because he wants to show us who he truly is if everything was great in our lives and everything we saw around us was good would we truly believe that that goodness or that
Greatness came from someone above or it was just it was just there and we were always you know in a in a world of perfect peace why would we need to to love it love god if everything around us was we need to have a reason to love god a reason to to
To deny him or to to accept him um and so here he’s saying i am going to remain unbowed in my stance i am going to take my punishment as a man you know and so on the first the third stanza um he says and this is crazy because
This is a man who says he’s an atheist but this as the same atheist an atheist is a person who says that uh they reject the the possibility of ever of there ever being a god or any type of deity around the world some people just reject
God and say they’re atheists but some people reject all all forms of gods and deities and say that they’re atheists um that didn’t sound right but anyway let me say it so i’m gonna read this specific stanza beyond this place of wrath and tears looms but the horror of the shades so
This place of wrath and tears obviously he’s talking about earth where he’s at now his his living circumstance he’s he’s in so much pain um he says beyond this thing he knows there’s something looming on the other side and to him it’s a horror that is in the shade
So here he’s already saying i do believe in afterlife and that afterlife somehow has horror to it so yes he believes in hell um and so he believes in the afterlife he believes in hell but then he attends he ends up saying i find you know fine and shall find me unafraid
This horror that is he’s going to need this afterlife that he’s going to meet he’s still not going to be afraid he’s still not going to bow his head he’s still not going to get on his knees and and and bow down to whatever he finds um
The fourth stanza he starts it off with it matters not how straight the gate again this is a man who said he’s not an atheist but then he refers to matthew 7 13 14 which is going to be our key scripture for the day i’m just going to go ahead and read that
Matthew 7 13-14 enter ye in at the straight gate for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction and many there will be which go in there at because straight is the gate and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life and few there be that find it
Now we go back to what he said it matters not how straight the gate the gate how charged with punishment the scroll i am the master of my fate i am the captain of my soul right even as i re i say these things it’s like oh so um
Here he’s saying he doesn’t care he’s going to continue walking the the wide road to destruction um he’s going to continue he doesn’t care what what happens in the book of life in the book of death even if he he finds his he knows he’s finding his
Life in the book of death from this pope and that’s what he says how charged with punishment the scroll means i know i have so many sins in there but i really don’t care because in the end i’m the master of my soul i am the captain of my fate or vice versa
I am basically god i rule me so as a christian who’s claimed who believes that jesus you know died on the cross was resurrected for your sins you’re here pledging something that’s saying it doesn’t matter my sins really don’t matter you know at the end of the day i’m flawless
I’m i’m the master of my soul they might i can sin all i want you can put my my uh you know my life into this book of death all you want um and so through that through this poem mr henley and those who are reciting it whether they know it or not
You are taking a defiant stance against christianity and jesus christ himself you are saying that righteousness doesn’t necessarily matter and the the consequences of it or the lack thereof of righteousness you don’t care about it um you don’t care about the consequences of rebellion and you are saying that you are the
Master and you are you are god yourself you know and we know matthew tells us we are not our own fathers nor are we our own masters um like i said before i didn’t say this henley actually wrote several books i mean several poems that were dark when i went through
When i went through some of them i went through very few of them because like i said when you’re reading something like this and if you do decide to go in and try to research this for yourself please say a prayer over yourself plead the blood of jesus over yourself
Ask god to cover you with his his wings and to shadow you from any darkness that may try to you know come upon you because that’s how serious these things are so anyway when i um is how serious the spiritual realm is so when i
I only read a few of his poems and i found out that he had several poems on darkness and he he though he kept saying he didn’t believe in in in god that he was an atheist he didn’t believe in god’s or god a lot of his his poems had to do
With the spiritual world and it had to do with the afterlife so i don’t necessarily know if he was an atheist maybe he thought he was and was deceived and just realized hey there is a life after death a matter of fact this poem invictus was found in a compilation
Uh it was originally the fourth poem in a compilation of poems that he’d entire he entitled the collection life and death now i just want to go back into that word that i said i was going to go back to which was the word probate and again we found that in the wikipedia
Description of invictus that told us that black greek letter organizations what you guys are doing for your recital the presentation itself is called probate and so i just want to go through the legal definition of probate because it is under um i don’t study law but this is what
They do and forgive me if some of these words come out wrong because um there’s some some words i’ve never heard before um so anyway let’s go the definition of probate is a receding probate is the first step in a legal process of administering the estate of a deceased person
Resolving all claims and distributing distributing the deceased person’s property under a will a probate court or surrogate court decides the legal validity of the trans of the testator’s will and grants its approval by granting probate to the executor the probated will becomes a legal document that may be
Enforced by the executor and the law of court if necessary the probate also officially appoints the executor or personal representative generally named in the will as having legal power to dispose of the testators assets in the manner specified in the will okay so what we’ve learned about the
Black greek order organization is when you guys are looking to get initiated into this organization you go through a period of tests and trials where you kind of show your show who you are see if you’re worthy of this and you call this probate so now some of the words we
Found in this were in this definition of probate where estate testators will document executor and assets so what i want to do right now is put this because we’re not talking about when we talk about will here you we here we’re not here to discuss we’re not here to discuss
My will in my estate as a house or farm or or boat or whatever would be in my physical realm out here whatever i own whatever i possess right now if you are someone who is in this looking to join this initiation within this probate which is a legal contract your estate
Would be your body your body your body houses your state is what i mean your body houses your estate and your state is your soul and your spirit um what we know about the will it is a legal grant or a contract that allows someone to
Pass on or to transfer ownership or to leave something to someone else um i found out that the word testator is the person who makes the will so in this sense the person who is pledging is the testator and the executor is the person who’s choosing for you what that your personal representative
So what i want to do now is go back and read this same definition and in the context of who you are body soul and spirit your will the contract personal representative and ownership and see what exactly it is that you are pledging yourself to in the context of this black greek
Letter organization not your house not your vote not anything else because that’s why your affiliate your organization called it a probate they knew what they were doing you know so here we go again a contract is the first step in a legal process of administering the soul and spirit of a deceased person

Joining into i know you’re coming into a very innocent that’s what it may seem uh you’re getting a lot of advantages that will come with this uh pledging uh from getting the jobs that other individuals won’t get because you have someone who’s affiliated with the same organization or one similar to yours
At the places that you might be looking to get hired into in the future i know that there are several different other advantages that come with pledging these organizations and a lot of times you do it believing that you’re going to be doing something great for the community a community outreach volunteerism
You know being a role model and a mentor to the youth but i just want to remind you in about in the bible i believe it was matthew 7 you know didn’t lord did not do community outreach in your name didn’t i do volunteer volunteerism in your name didn’t i help
Out the youth and the elderly in your name but god told them hey and i just used what we would do in this time you know in the bible he actually used other words didn’t we prophesy in your name didn’t we heal the sick in your name
Uh but at the end he told him depart from me before i never knew you so um this probate trial period and ceremony of initiation is an oath that is not founded on christian principles guys you were taking an oath so whether you believe that you are not choosing to advocate uh satanism
Or um the demonic realm you are there’s a certain song going on right now by a heavy metal rap group um in europe called choosing for you and the group’s name is called legion legion from the bible in mark uh five we know that um you know
When when jesus cast out all these demons out of of that young man that was in the graveyard he asked them what is your name it said our my name is legion for we are many so many are looking many are possessed these days with demonic spirits and they don’t even
Know many have the are shadowed under darkness and they don’t even know it so um you think you’re walking into something innocently but by being ignorant you have made a choice everyone chooses you can’t be in the middle god says you’re either going to choose light or you’re going to choose that darkness
You cannot serve two masters either you’re gonna hate one or love the other so you wanna love god with all your heart with all your mind with all your strength um and that’s what this is all about um either you’re a child of god or a child of bowel you know um
Jeremiah 20 i mean not jeremiah joshua’s 24 15 if it seems evil unto you to serve the lord choose you this day whom you will serve whether the gods which were left on the other side of the flood or the gods of the amorites in which land do you dwell
And when when it said if it seemed evil unto you to serve the lord it’s saying if you were going to be backsliding if you’re going to be going back and forth between good and evil all the time god is saying take a stand today or are you going to choose to
To to follow me to abide in my will to obey me or are you going to continue to succumb to your your lustful ways to succumb to rebellion to succumb to your weaknesses all the time if we bring those all back to the altar of god
We will be able to make it so choose you this day if it seems evil for you to serve the lord go ahead and choose you know to serve satan but serve him wholeheartedly you cannot be in the middle because god will spit you out
And he will say it apart from you for i never knew you you know we cannot take we cannot take our salvation lightly god jesus came god came down as as as man through jesus christ and took all the stripes that we deserve we are to serve him the same way that he
Has come to um redeem us you know work out your salvation with fear and trembling and the way you do that is not by you know falling on your knee every time you hear the name jesus or you know hail mary every time the way you the fear the
Fear of the lord is not to tremble at his his feet and like complete you’re not scared of him you’re reverent to him you’re respecting him just in the same way he does in jeremiah 32 41 yea i will rejoice over them to do them good
I will plant them in this glance but surely with my whole heart and with my whole soul so if god can plant can and can plant you in a land that is going to be uh a great land for you and if he’s put all this effort into you he
Said he puts his whole heart into you he puts his whole soul into you why not do the same for him by abiding in him by following his laws his laws and and regulations and his ways are not um they’re not grievous and if you see you feel that they
Are he said choose you this day whom you will serve you cannot serve both of them so um you know he’s calling us to come out of her my people that ye be not partakers of her sin and that you receive not her plagues you know come out of her denounce these
Organizations today all these affiliations that you have been joining in the past few years and decades and you probably have didn’t know that they were not of god come out of them out today when you know you have to begin to confess them to him asking for forgiveness and begin to renew you
So that you may not be while he’s filling you up with with with his spirit there’s there’s old the old wine is gone the old oil is gone now he’s giving you new wine and new wine skin new oil in your lamp so that you’re not mixed with goodness and evil
That you’re not being um you know you’re you’re not going back and forth between two doctorates but you have chosen one you’ve chosen one your being is your spirit that is who you are it’s not the vessel your your emotions are not you your uh those are the things that can distort
Who you will be or who you are or how you portray yourself but the more you feed yourself the knowledge of god your spirit will reflect that in light i’m not talking about energy i’m not talking about uh whatever else people use these days we were talking that
You were not an energy you are a a a vessel but your your your your body is a vessel that houses your spirit like we said earlier so um that is who you are um uh one of the definitions that was under probate court or a probate court
Is a surrogate court and a surrogate is someone who takes the place of another or a substitute so don’t allow someone to choose for you simply by joining the wrong organizations because you’ve allowed them to choose it because of your ignorance two blind people cannot lead each other you know if you
If you you walk into an organization blindly you’re also going to be blindly leaded to the path of destruction you know so uh guys do your own research you know truthfully truthfully do your own research do not take my word my word for it just remember uh in ecclesiastic ecclesiastes solomon
Solomon said that um everything in life is meaningless it is all vanity now mind you solomon is the same person who god gave all wisdom to he was the wisest man on earth he was the richest man on earth he had everything he needed you know
Solomon when when he was told not to decided to disregard the the the um instructions god had given into and he did marry into these babylonian uh families and tribes that god told them hey do not marry into these babylonian families do not take the their women up for
Yourselves as wives because they will bring on their they’re going to bring doctrines to you they’re paganistic you are going to begin to you know follow false gods and begin adultery and so much sexual immorality that we can’t even begin to think um and those same doctrines continue to follow and
Come go generation to generation there there’s a continuance of those doctrines and not to offend anyone but anyone who is in a fraternity or in a sorority you are simply a branch of a vine that is known as freemason and that vine is actually a branch that is coming off out of
The egyptian babylonian practices if you really search do your research and try to figure out what where your your bglo was actually where is it rooted in and where is that whatever it is where is that founded in and you will find that it all goes back
To the egyptian ways which god is calling us christians out of and i’m talking to christians again you know i’m not talking to those who have accepted this as their way in their life i’m talking to people who believe they’re they’re genuine christians following god i’m talking to you because
I want you to be set free so that you truly can go where you believe you want to go which is heaven which is eternity we do not want to go into a dirt eternal damnation because of our ignorance you know uh why is the gate that leads to destruction
You know and narrows the way to heaven and we want to go through that narrow way um i believe in matthew 23 it says woe to you scribes and pharisees who are leading several people into the path of darkness who are actually looking to go to heaven they’re looking
For the right way but you have people who are teaching them the wrong way under the name of jesus christ who are teaching them wrong and because you are under that covering or under that anointing you’re under anointing that eventually the person who is teaching you is going
To hell and because you are one of you are part of his flock you’re going to hell with them so woe to you scribes and pharisees it doesn’t just stop in the churches so christians you have to hold yourself accountable you have to begin to read the word of god
For yourself because you don’t want to end up in the wrong organization in the wrong church in the wrong affiliation of individuals and find yourself in hell you know life is life eternal life is worth more than that god jesus when he came down to us that was priceless we cannot even put
To to to we can’t put any financial um some or worth to to what god has done for for us we we in everything in everything that we do we will never be able to repay him and that is why he’s just asking us to love him wholeheartedly
With purity to love him first with all our hearts with all our minds with all our strengths and to do the same for our neighbors as we do ourselves those are the two great commandments and the way we do that is to continue to spread the word of god in its complete entirety
Y’all we cannot be afraid anymore uh i heard someone say something really great yesterday which was uh are you an undercover christian is everywhere you go are you always the one you know not talking about your christianity or you know you’re only a christian when it
It’s convenient to you we don’t want to be that person i myself am praying for boldness every day so that i can begin going all around my neighborhood going all around everywhere that i go to and shining from the mountaintop what god has done for me not only that but telling people that
Jesus is coming soon that is how serious it is if you have not already noticed the demonic kingdom is already coming down this is already the the devil’s domain but this the satanic system is coming down to claim more souls and it’s going to be more evident there’s no need to hide
Anymore these so-called conspiracy theories you guys think they’re theories but they’re actually real you know these so-called theories are manifesting each and every day and you see okay well that was i always thought that i was a liar i find out it is true because all most and most of them are true
You know so prepare prepare yourselves yours if if if truly you’re a child of god uh denounce denounce the organization uh pray for the will to denounce it um so that you can let it go um jeremiah 29 11. i know what thoughts i have towards you thoughts of peace
To give you an expected and they’re not of evil but to give you an expected end um i’m saying this because several people join these organizations for several different reasons that may be beneficial to you maybe you’re trying to prove something maybe because when you were younger you were not validated enough
Maybe your parents always belittled you and when you went to school it was the same thing you know you were the the the uh the child in school the classmate who always got made fun of maybe it was your hair maybe it was your your your appearance maybe the fact that
You you weren’t the quick thinker who knows what it is a lot of times we join so many organizations to validate ourselves and tell people we matter and a lot of times those same people are not even around to say you know i was so wrong for what you for
What i said so um you don’t need earthly validations and only join these things because they come these organizations especially bglos they come with benefits uh from getting the the job that you’ve interviewed for simply because you are in this organization and maybe the the interview were is actually also in this organization
Your your uh your resume goes above someone else’s you know so you have those type of advantages you get into clubs and all these other things that you have access to different events that other people don’t have but you can’t keep yourself under a certain association that is not that
Is not under the association of god from your own website i saw something that said that um you know you guys are constitutionally bonded together you hold alliances to each other you as you associate yourself with color creed and symbolism that alone should be a little you know
Seem a little weird to you because if we were to come uh into the body of christ we are to be modest we’re not to be boastful we’re not to seek to be um you know to stand out in that in that sense you know uh so

Seeking to get recognized and the kingdom of god says modesty is the best policy uh what you do for god in in silence he rewards you openly that’s what the bible says so don’t worry about that to god he has already validated you validated you he’s already said that you
Were the alpha with his eyes he’s already said that um he’s written your name in the heavens and he said that um his thoughts towards you are in number innumerable greater than that of a grain of the grains of sand that we see all around us and we can’t
Even count that ourselves so you can imagine you know and um like like i like i stated out earlier jeremiah 32 41 he will plant you or surely with his whole heart and with his whole soul and that is what he wants from us also um this this poem by henley
Uh several people are going to say it is a poem of defiance because it rebels against all suffering all tribulation all um you know it takes a stance against weakness and um it’s very inspirational you know that’s that’s what i’ve been reading online that you know shame on who shame on

Doesn’t believe in the god it seems like he believes in something or someone you know from what we read but just to go against what even if henley was facing so much pain in his life that he couldn’t bear it but he wanted to say that i’m gonna still live
Strong and i’m going to deal with this pain uh i’m not gonna succumb to it proverbs 14 27 says the fear of the lord is the fountain of life that one may turn away from the snare of death so by turning away from the snare of god we
Have i mean this narrative of death we have to have the lord who gives us the fountain of life henley on the other end says i don’t care i’m gonna go wherever to this afterlife is and um it doesn’t necessarily he’s not necessarily looking to turn away from it but rather
To conquer it through his own strength again we are not our own masters we are not gods ourselves there’s nothing that we can do that can ever make us conquerable or unconquerable but we are conquered we are more than conquerors through christ who strengthens us
Who gives us his spirit and his truth to set us free um so when you read his poem um you know he says his soul is unconquerable but job 33 28 says he will deliver his soul from going to the pit in his life uh shall see the light
So only god can actually make your soul unconquerable um isaiah 45 22 says look unto me and be ye saved all the ends of the earth for i am god and there is none else so he is not the master of his fate he is not
The master of his soul and neither are you um he he says here that you know it matters not how straight they get how charged the punishment of the skull ezekiel 18 4 says behold our all souls are mine the souls whose sins also shall die you know all souls belong
To the lord you know um so like i said before to recite this on a daily basis based uh basis this is a virtualized blasphemy against god you know complete opposite doctrine to what to what he teaches don’t surrender your soul don’t surrender your choice to someone
Else because if you don’t make the choice someone else is going to do the choosing for you and god is not the one who’s going to make that choice for you that is the freedom we have with god he doesn’t make the choice for us we have to choose him the way he’s
Already chosen us um and and and the way we do that is to follow him and be obediently through reference to respect understanding the grace that we have through jesus christ and um not taking it for granted just because christ came and died on the cross for us
Does not mean now we can just slap the name jesus on our forehead and say let me go up in the clubs and and you know twerk it or whatever it is people do you know we we have to to to work on our salvation you know um
I’m speaking to myself also as i always say in all my videos i’m speaking to myself also this past december i just decided to um retire from a modeling even though it’s something modeling and acting i’ve always wanted to act for sure because as a child i was always you know loud and
You know what’s the other word i’m looking for very active and hyper and loud and just all over the place at home and in school you know um so i always wanted to act but modeling is something i really didn’t care to do but everywhere i went they would say hey
You should be a model you should be a model blah blah blah and so i got into it i started uh modeling a few years ago and uh from that you know just this past december when i retired i was in time magazine that whole month i had i had already done
Japan vogue i’ve done east and west magazine i’ve done upscale magazine i’ve done a few hair products here and there a few other catalogs i’m in some books right now and the list goes on however uh like i said i’m speaking to myself this whole everything in life is meaningless everything is vanity
That goes to me too modeling and acting for me has become uh a thing of vanity it is not because you know let me let me back away from that because i know people most of my friends being that i’ve been in the industry for the years that i’ve been in
Most of my friends are um in the industry and a lot of them are devout christians who are truly following god genuinely so i want to say that this is the call that god had for me he’s the one who pulled me out so this is my personal walk with god he
Just revealed to me that the word celebrity is to mean to celebrate someone to be catapulted into a place where people are praising you to simply because of how you look uh you’re you’re there supposedly as a role model but you don’t even want to be a role
Model you just want to be there for the sake of being looked at for the sake of being worshiped i have never looked to be a celebrity but i did i did of course want to achieve more in the industry but it’s never been my intention to get to the point where
You know paparazzi is at my door every second no you know however he still told me that um for my walk i had to get out because he he didn’t want me to you know simply going around showing my physical appearance when there was so much more to me than that you know
Um i’m gonna celebrate him i’m not celebrating myself anymore um i i’ll talk more about that later my own my own walk in that industry or whatever even though i’ve always done my best to take the best roles that uh did did not go against him um that industry is very dark uh
Modeling acting media news all of it fake fake fake believe you me cnn fake all of it infomercials faith um believe me it’s fake y’all don’t they’re they’re feeding you a false reality and so everything we see around us is not real it is uh the reality that
God is trying to show us is is what we need to be seeking um so that is i think that’s the lesson we’re gonna have on invictus that’s the lesson we’re gonna have on black letter greek uh you know organizations and choice we do have a choice
I want to make one more statement about uh you know chronic pain since we are on ernest hemley who who face chronic pain we’ve seen the stance that he’s taken but remember job took us a different stance his stance in a job 2 9 says that he took the stance of integrity
That he didn’t succumb to his pain or what the devil was trying to tell him through christ alone the same one who had blessed him and given him his richness and his wealth was going to be the same one that was going to take him out of this destruction
And out of this the ailment that he found himself in through the test that god allowed remember he was he was not even allowed to be touched or killed because even the devil must worship god the devil cannot do anything without without uh god first allowing it or letting him do it so
You guys we are unique because we have a choice the devil doesn’t even have a choice you know god says at in the name in the name of jesus christ the devil himself must fall on his knees and worship god so who are we as men
And women to say that i am unbowed regardless of what comes my way oh you will bow in the end you will you know so anyway back to this you always want to take the if you’re someone facing pain i was born with sickle cell anemia i know what you’re going through yes
They’re going to be moments where you were completely in excruciating pain the hospital was my second home at it once once in my life you know and i still have battles here and there crises here and there most recently november 2012 so um i know what chronic pain
Is but we have been we have to continue to speak truth over ourselves we cannot allow this pain to curse god and die you know this is this pain is this pain is part of our chastening part of uh our our long suffering so that we can remember there’s some
