The church finances so we’re we’re grateful for those who are who are here uh tonight if y’all can put me up on the on the screen as when I say in my conclusion I ain’t joking this time no I’m not joking at all this time I am
Really in my conclusion I I need to pick up at um I need to pick up at verse number 28 um as we’re concluding this um we we talked about this last time the morning star and we looked at this the idea the morning star was to usher in a
New day Malachi 4 1-3 tells us that Jesus was the son of righteousness um who would rise with healing uh in his wings and then we are saw also in Revelation 22:16 that Jesus represents himself as the bright and the morning and The Morning Star and and we we’re
Told that these individuals who overcome those who um are able to deal with what they were dealing with those who overcome that they will be able to rule with the Lord um because of where the Lord has put us he put us so we can sit together in Heavenly places in Christ
Jesus and then we come to Revelation 2: 29 where Jesus concludes I say Jesus John is writing from what he received from the angel the angel got it from Christ Christ got it from God and and he concludes um the church he says he that hath an
Ear let him hear what the spirit sath unto the churches and this is so important um in regards to the words of Jesus Christ that whenever a message is given uh we have to be careful of two things two things in Mark chapter 4 in verse number 24 the Bible says we need
To be careful number one what we hear you got to be careful what you hear especially in matters of religion be careful what you hear uh Mark 4:4 and then we find in Luke chapter 8 and verse number 18 where the Bible said be careful how you hear uh so it’s not
Enough just to hear uh but you got to be careful how you hear it you have to hear it with the right with the right kind of heart and when you have the right kind of heart uh then you’re able to receive what it is that’s being said as
Especially when it come down to those things which are which are Eternal and so the Bible say he that hath the ear let him hear what the spirit sath unto the Church of this command to hear is repeated matter of fact to all seven of the Churches of Christ there I’m in Asia
Minor and we know that this was a phrase that Jesus often used Matthew 11: 11-13 he said for all the prophets and law prophesied under John for if ye will receive it this is Elias that was for to come he that ha ears to hear Let Him
Hear in other words the idea he placed the emphasis on the message um that Elijah came and brought Elijah being the Forerunner of Jesus Christ we recognize that that Elijah he was talking about was John the Baptist John was the Forerunner um of Jesus Christ Malachi
Brings that out as well and also in some of the Parables that Jesus would use um Matthew 13: 7 throughout verse number nine some fell among thorns and the thorn sprung up and choked them but the other fell into good ground and brought forth fruit some in 100-fold some 60
Fold some 30 who ha ears to hear Let Him hear and this was ways in which Jesus would teach Jesus was if you will he was a master teacher there are many things that Jesus would do to arrest the attention of people to get their attention so they would listen um to the
Message that he was that he was delivered he used um illustrations he used Parables he even use objects because one day he put a child in front of him and said except you become as little children he also used of course he used the Old Testament uh in regards
To his teaching various methods he used in regards to um getting their attention sometime he would shock them um with his with his teaching um because it was difficult for them truly to understand when Jesus would say things like um if your right hand offend thee cut it off
If your eye offend the pluck it out that that that was the purpose of getting their attention so they began to listen to what it was that he was he was saying but he wanted them to hear hear the message well why is that because the
Bible says um to us in regards to hearing that the first Mark 12:29 that the first of all commandments is to hear you will never be able to respond properly to God if you don’t get the right information and so therefore we have to make sure what we’re hearing um
Is right and that’s where it starts it’s it starts with the hearing and that’s why the Bible even tells us Romans 10:17 so then faith it cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God faith by hearing Faith by hearing and the hearing
Is the word of God what we must hear is God’s word we find in Matthew 13 41-43 the son of man shall send forth his angels and they Shall Gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and them that do iniquity and shall cast him into
A furnace of fire there shall be wailing and nashing of teeth then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their father he said now who have ears to hear Let Him hear in other words this particular message you need to hear need to hear this this message
In Mark 42223 for there is nothing hid which shall not be made M made known manifest neither was anything kept secret but it should come abroad it’ll be known it be known by all and and he mentioned the idea of any have ears to hear Let Him
Hear and then also Luke 14: 34:35 salt is good but if that salt has lost its Savor if you have salt and that salt is not doing what the intended purpose of it is wherewith shall it be seasoned it is therefore fit is neither fit for the
Land nor yet for the dungill but Men cast it out he that had ears to hear let him let him hear so here is personal and it it is a necessity uh my friend the idea with Jesus saying to hear that has to be a desire uh for
Spiritual truths he was not saying something was wrong um audibly with their ears what he was saying was in those Parables of using that and also to the church that we’re looking at was their desire check your desire for Spiritual truth do do you desire to hear
The truth because some people do not desire um to hear the truth so the truth can be preach all day long but if it’s not their desire then they’re not going to receive it and if you don’t receive the word uh then you recognize the word
Can do you can do you no good and so as he writes to these churches he helps them to understand the necessity of them having this desire desire to hear the word of God because it’s only the word of God uh that can save us the word of
God it gives life Hebrews 4 and verse number 12 it’s quick it’s powerful sharper than any two-edged two-edged sword and so therefore that is our plea tonight that is our challenge do we have a desire uh to hear God’s word not just when the word agrees with what we’re
Already doing but what about when the word um does not agree with things that we’re doing you have to have spiritually we have to make sure sure our desire is not our will but is always the will of God God bless you tonight maybe there’s somebody here tonight and you’re not a
Christian you’re not a child of God I will say to you tonight have a desire to hear the word so you can receive that word um because the word of God Luke 8 and verse 11 is a seed but the seed has to be implanted in the hearts in the
Hearts of men and once that seed is implanted you got to understand this the seed can be implanted but still won’t do you any good in order for that seed to germinate and to bring forth fruit you got that seed planted in the ground it has to be watered that seed
Must be watered when is the seed watered is only watered when you go in the waters of baptism so baptism is essential in regards to man and his salvation so what do I need to do tonight brother pounds having heard how Jesus died for you having having heard
How Jesus was buried rose again the third day Paul declared in 1 Corinthians 15: 1-4 that that is the Gospel of Jesus Christ you heard that tonight you’re willing to believe that the fact of who Jesus is willing to repent of your sin turning from sin self and Satan turning
Now toward God there through repentance the act of repentance a constant change it is a mindset a change of mindset to go in a New Direction and then I’m going to confess I’m going to confess say the same thing that’s that word hom Leo is
Homo the same Leo is the word is to say the same word in which God said about his son what did God say about Christ that he was the son of God in our confession we’re saying the same thing this confession is multi don’t have time
To deal with all this tonight but this confession is multi because when you recognize who Jesus is you’re also recognizing who he is in your life you saying now he’s going to be the Lord of my life because I recognize now who he is now I have new Allegiance no longer
Will I live for myself this confession now I’m saying Christ will be the head of my life confession and after you confess then you’re baptized in water for the remission of your sin you are baptized for the purpose of your sins being forgiven God Acts 22:16 it is
Wiped from the mind of God everything that we’ve ever done that’s Jeremiah 31: 31-34 he prophesied in regards to that would happen Hebrews chapter 10 talks about the idea God would take our sins and remember them no more and so therefore That’s The Power of baptism
How God washes away our paths makes us new creatures and he does all of this in Christ Jesus and if you’re here tonight you remember the body of Christ and you going astray come on back home tonight through a process repentance confession and prayer or if you need prayer Lord
Knows I say this all the time because it’s true all of us need prayer uh because things could be going so well for you but you don’t know what’s coming in the next moment you don’t know what what’s what’s waiting for you when you get back home and so therefore we always
Will be in a state where we need prayer and so if you need prayer tonight maybe something you’re already going through or whatever the case might be you need the church collectively to come together then let your request be known we still believe the effectual fervent prayer of
The righteous availeth much if you need the Lord tonight come on right now we going to stand we’ll sing a Psalm encouragement I can hear my savior call I can hear myor calling take th Cross [Applause] follow me where he Liv me I will follow oh where he Le me I will follow where heing me I will I go with him with him all the way appreciate again the latest installment from The Book of Revelation and we have tonight requesting prayer dorothia Thompson and
Family uh sister white sister Lois King also requesting prayer Sharon Johnson is requesting prayer um I believe for sister na Maryweather uh who’s going to be having a procedure on Wednesday also a Kennedy uh is requesting prayer he’s not feeling well let’s pray tonight Heavenly Father we come to you
This evening we’re always thankful father for the opportunity to approach you in prayer we recognize oh Father what a wonderful privilege this is and we thank you Father for all your blessings thank you Father for everything that you do and we thank you tonight again for this wonderful lesson
Uh helping us oh Father to have a greater Insight uh Into the Book of Revelation continue to bless this teaching oh Father and help us as we receive this teaching uh to be uh the beneficiaries and to uh have our Bible knowledge and our understanding to grow
And to be nurtured and we pray oh Father you’ll continue blessings upon he top as we continue to strive to know more about your holy word pray for these precious members oh Father who’ve made an acknowledgement uh tonight needing needing prayer for themselves and for their families and for their loved ones
And for various procedures they’ll be going through we ask you oh God to be with each and every one of them uh help them in whatever way they stand in need of tonight as well as the rest of us oh Father who also standing in the need of
Prayer in the Blessed name of Jesus we do pray Church said amen we continue our our worship to the Lord this evening in a way of communion remembering the great sacrifice our Lord and Savior Jesus made back there on Calvary for the sins of All Mankind we find the biblical example in Acts
Chapter 20 verse number seven how often the church take other communion and upon the first day of the week when the disciples came together to break bread Paul preached unto them ready to part on Tom tomorrow and continue his speech until midnight we find in Matthew chapter 26 beginning at at verse
26 and the night our Lord and savior Institute The Taking of the bread and the cup and it read as follow and as they were eating Jesus Took bread he blessed it and he break it and gave it to the disciples and said take eat this
Is my body and he took the cup and gave thanks and gave it to them saying drink ye all of it for this is my blood of the new testament which is Shar for many for the remission of sin but I say unto you I will not drink henceforth of
This fruit of the vine until that day when I drank it new with you in my father’s Kingdom let us pray for the bread and the cup father God we come to you at this hour to give you thanks father for those who desire to take up
The bread in the cup and remember that son broken body and said the blood on the cross we pray father we giving you thanks for the the bread we represent his broken body and the cup that represents shed of blood as they take that we pray they take it in the right

First day of the week that every one of you lay by him in store as God has prospered him that there will be no Gathering when I come let us pray father God we come to you once again and give you thanks for for the blessing us to be
Able to prosper gain to have that we may be provide for our families and to be able to return back to you a portion of that you have prospered us with that is rightly yours in the beginning we pray for this collection father it be used for the building and upspringing in that
Divine kingdom here in the wi of Heaven throughout the air and and to make men know thy will and thy way and to also be able to uh help Souls who are in need for we give you thanks and ask these blessing in men of the name of Jesus

Sister all right mandatory meeting I think we already said this uh for next on February 18th for those that are going to be volunteering for the Bap baptism Ministry that will be in a fellowship house all after morning worship I say I’m going try to keep this
