THAT’S RIGHT, THE SISTERS OF ALPHA KAPPA ALPHA SORORITY READ TO 175 STUDENTS AT THE LEVI HUGHES BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF CENTRAL FLORIDA.
TODAY, THE THEME WAS AFRICAN AMERICANS AND THE ARTS FROM POETRY TO SONGS. THE EVENT WAS ALL ABOUT SPOTLIGHTING THE RICH HISTORY AND CULTURAL CONTRIBUTIONS OF AFRICAN AMERICANS. I’M VERY EXCITED BECAUSE MOST KIDS IN THIS AREA ARE DON’T HAVE THE ABILITY TO HAVE OR READ A BOOK, SO I’M GLAD THIS
ORGANIZATION CAME TO MY BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB AND ABLE TO GIVE THESE KIDS FREE BOOKS FOR THEM TO READ AND AND HEIGHTEN THEIR KNOWLEDGE FOR THE WITH THESE BOOKS, WITH THE LEGISLATION CHANGING AND BANNING SOME BOOKS, I FELT IT WAS REALLY IMPORTANT THAT WE AS AFRICAN AMERICANS TAKE SOME RESPONSIBILITY AND
