Re okay let’s uh go ahead and get started thanks to all of you that are watching by uh the lay broadcast or those of you who are watching uh live as as we’re going through Facebook uh we are studying two things simultaneously we’re studying The Lord’s Prayer we’re also
Studying the high Priestly prayer and what I’m doing is is just comparing these in the Lord’s Prayer Jesus taught us how to pray uh and what to pray for but in the high Priestly prayer we see that as he’s praying this last prayer he is saying I’ve done everything I taught
Them to do in the first prayer now uh we were talking about lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil and so now I want to go back and I think we we started but I didn’t finish it but I I want to start on how did Jesus fulfill
The request of helping us to one be delivered from evil but two not fall in the Sin okay that that that’s the key here that that we want to be tested we want to be tried we want to be examined but we don’t want to sin and so
Um I want to going to begin by looking at Hebrews the book of Hebrews uh I’m going to look at uh three verses there so let’s begin at Hebrews chapter 4 and I want to look at verse 15 and then we’ll go to chapter 5 and then we’ll go
To chapter 12 so let’s begin at Hebrews chapter 4 uh we’re looking at the fact that Jesus was tempted just like we’ve been tempted uh he was not tempted in the exact form uh meaning that he never was tempted to slander somebody’s name on the Internet cuz there was no internet but
The principle is to get back at somebody through whatever medium you can like talking about them uh or spreading gossip about them or whatever else you know that that issue was there but it wasn’t over the the internet wasn’t on Facebook but the Temptation was still
There I’m I’m hearing a humming here is that me okay all right so let’s begin at Hebrews 4:15 let me know when you get there thumbs up look at me way something okay all right uh Hebrews 4:15 anybody need more time okay good Hebrews 4:15 says this
For we have not a high priest which cannot not be touched with the feelings of our infirmities or our weaknesses but was in all points tempted like as we are yet without sin now here’s here’s here’s the encouraging part that part is encouraging but here’s the other encouraging part let us therefore come
Boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find Grace in the time of need so there four things that are very important about those two verses number one is that Jesus was tempted in all forms like as we have been tempted there is nothing that we
Can face that he did not face his family talked about him thought he was a little bit off The Rocker even before he began his ministry they were telling him well why don’t you go up to Jerusalem for the feast you say you this big- time
Preacher why you staying here at home uh go up do yall remember the verse yall looking at me like I’m speaking French okay all right you don’t remember the verse hold your place there uh let me see if I can find it uh I know I can find it if I look in
My uh T and that may be the best way to do uh to find it is to go back and look in my notes I mean look in my U my Bible out um so let me find it so we can look up to look at look it up I let’s see go
Up let’s see if I can find it by looking at this all right so what we want to do it’s not up uh what we want to do is just find that verse and and uh the reason I want to look at it one is because because I
Want you to know what it says and I also want you to know that Jesus was tempted um just like we are uh in all points like as we are yet without sin all right uh let’s see here all right so let’s look at um all
Right okay I thought it was John let’s look at John 7 ver8 John chapter 7:8 uh we’re going to end on verse 8 but we’ll begin in John chapter 7 and um and we’ll see that Jesus had the same kind of Temptations uh that we go through
Now sometimes this said it the the the the vehicle may be different but the Temptation is still the same so the Gospel of John chapter 7 I want to begin at verse number one John chapter 7 beginning at verse number one and you are holding your place right at Hebrews
Cuz we’re going to go back there all right so John chapter 7 verse1 are we there okay good uh after these things Jesus walked in Galilee uh for he would not walk in jewelry or the place of the Jews because the Jews sought to kill him now the Jews
Feast of Tabernacle was his at hand his Brethren therefore said unto him depart hence and go into Galilee and go into Judea excuse me that thy disciples Also may see the works that thou doest here’s a sarcastic part for there is no man that does do anything in secret and he
Himself seeketh to be made seeketh to be known openly if thou do these things show thyself to the world for neither did his Brethren believe in him G but then Jesus said unto them my time is not yet but your time is always ready know you can go wherever you want to whenever
You want to but but God has to Lead Me In when I go up and what I do the world cannot hate you but men hate it because I testify of it that the works thereof are evil go ye up into the feast I go
Not yet up I go not up yet into the Feast for my time is not yet full come when he had said these things these words unto them he abose still in Galilee but when his Brethren went up then went he also up to the feast not
Openly but as it were in secret now that may have been done for several reasons one because he didn’t want to be provoked by his brothers to do anything and and we don’t do anything because somebody provoke us to do it we do it because God is leading us to do it God’s
Timing somebody says if you claim to be such a preacher why don’t you get up and preach no you wait till God tells you to do that okay you’re such a Healer why don’t you go to the hospital and lay hands on all folks no you wait till God
Leads you now there’s sometimes you have to step out of Faith but here Jesus saying in essence I’m not going to be provoked to do anything by y’all because if you don’t know it not my family not your family but some people have families that’ll provoke you to
Stuff okay if you let them they’ll provoke you to stuff lead you into stuff you’re not ready for so so Jesus had the same temptation all right let’s go back to Hebrews Hebrews chapter 4 so I was telling you about the fact that one Jesus has has been tempted in all points
Like as we are yet without sin therefore he fulfilled the verse of helping us to get delivered from Evil even though there was never any evil in him he still was examined and tried with evil yet he did not sin so the first thing is that
He was tempted with evil second thing is that because he did not fall into it he gives us confidence to come boldly unto the throne of grace third third thing not only can we come to the throne but we can find two things that we need the
Third and fourth thing the the first thing we need is Mercy because we fall and we fail and we slip sometimes we just walk into it because we just want to do it but then there are other times that God wants to empower us we want to do
Right and so we go to God in that Throne of mercy and God gives us end of verse 16 Grace to help us in the time of need there are times that inside we don’t want to sin okay we don’t want to sin and but we’re weak and so God gives us
Grace the same thing Jesus faced when he’s in gemane he he was striving the book of Hebrews says striving against sin and after he had done what he did in terms of sweating great drops of blood uh what happened anybody remember who visited him am I remember the Angels good the
Angels Came and they ministered to him same thing that happened when he was in the wilderness when Satan said if you be the Son of God turn these stones into bread Jesus Didn’t Do It um but then after he had withstood the temptation then the Angels Came and ministered to
Him so Jesus went through everything that we we went through he was an example all right let me look at another verse uh chapter 5: 7-9 same book Hebrews chapter 5 verses 7-9 I like this verse because it helps me to understand that God did allow him to be tested and
To be examined his flesh had to be examined like ours all right uh and let me start verse six and he saith also in another place thou art a priest Forever After the order of mekis he’s talking to Jesus uh who in the days of his flesh when had offered up prayers and
Supplications so he’s not talking about mkis DEC because we have no place in scripture where mchis didc offered offered up prayers and supplication which strong crying with tears unto him that was able to save him from Death that was Jesus and was heard God heard of him
That he feared though he was a son so we know he’s not talking about mzed that though he was a son son yet learn he obedience submission uh faithfulness by the things which he suffered and being made mature he became the author of Eternal salvation unto all them that obey him so
He had to be tested he had to be proven like every one of us he had to be examined he had to be examined Under Pressure he had to be examined Under Pressure he and the greatest pressure he had was dealing with uh going to the
Cross his flesh did not want to go but he knew he had to go the other thing that I want to share with you is that Jesus also uh had this kind of thing hanging over his head all his life because the Bible says in fact he said for this
Cause was I born he knew he was born for that and and the Temptation is to get anxious about what you’re going to go through but he was not anxious he lived one day at a time time doing the Miracles teaching the disciples breaking bread with them resisting Satan doing
Everything not living too far in the future which we’re very tempted to do but just living a day at a time knowing that when it was time God would give him the grace to do what he needed to do and so Philippians tells us well be anxious
Or be careful for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with Thanksgiving all right let’s look at one other scripture uh Hebrews chapter 12 we want to look at verses 3 and 4 and what we’re doing is that we’re looking at how Jesus fulfilled the scripture that allows us
To be tried but not enter into evil okay now he had no evil in him we have evil in us all right Hebrews 12 let’s look at verses 3 and 4 for consider him that endureth such contradiction of Sinners against himself lest you be wearied and faint in your
Minds ye have not yet resisted un blood striving against sin so when Jesus was in Gethsemane he he was dealing with everything that was coming against him and the Bible says he great he sweat great drops of blood and what he was doing was fighting the temptation of his
Body not to want to go through the cross and no nobody invites a kind of death all right so let me give you just a few other examples and then we’ll move on all right so how did Jesus fulfill this number two by giving us instructions he told the disciples
Pray pray that you enter not into Temptations I want to go back and I want to look at Psalm 19 verse 13 Psalm 19:13 this is not something that Jesus did but it’s something that the psalmist did that gives us some insight and also gives us some instruction Psalm 19 this
Is how the psalmist prayed Psalm 19 and I want to look at verse 13 let me know when you get there we’re all there good very good and he says this is his prayer keep back thy servant from presumptuous sin Let Them sins let them not have dominion over me then
Shall I be upright and I shall be innocent from the great congregation great congregation great transgression sometimes you need to live from the great congregation too all right so uh and I probably should have used that verse in the next part where it talks about him keeping us so
It goes better there so so he is praying Lord keep me keep me from presumptuous sins don’t let me just do stuff thinking that I can just get out of it because everything you do you can’t so easily get out of it you really can’t and so
The best thing to do is not to do it right I’m going to change that uh down here cuz I think it more accurately um fits down there all right so Jesus gives us instructions when we look at Jude the Bible tells us and it’s probably also
May may be better down there but it says Jude God is able to keep you from falling he is able to keep you from falling now I will add this you got to want to be kept cuz if if you don’t want to be kept
All the grace in the world is not going to stop you from sinning you got to want to be kept and but but Satan works on our want to he works on making us think oh how great it’s going to be if we can get
Away with this oh how nice it’s going to feel if we can go home jump in our pajamas put on a TV eat ice cream and and a whole dozen donuts right yeah it’s G to feel good I’m going to be in my comfort zone I’m gonna turn the
Heat on turn my favorite movie on and man it’s just going to feel good and not gain pound and not gain a pound that’s right cuz all the donuts are diet right you you going to pray all the all the calories out of it so but uh but but
Jesus is able to keep us God is able to keep us from falling and that’s very important to know uh in John chapter 6 uh verse 39 and 40 Jesus says um that all whom the father has given me will come unto me and nobody is able to pluck them out of my
Hands nobody is able to snatch you Satan himself is not able to walk up to God and snatch you out of God’s hands now what is not written here is this but God does not hold you against your will if you want to walk away you can walk
Away but Satan can’t come and just take you when we look at John the the Gospel of John in the high Priestly prayer John 17:12 Jesus says all those you’ve given me I’ve kept nobody’s lost except the son of predition that the scripture may be fulfilled I kept James and John as they
Arguing about who going to be the greatest and putting their mama up to you putting me on the on the right hand on the left I kept Peter with his impulsive compulsive self I kept all those who never said nothing who did nothing who never wrote anything I kept
Them all they were all different but I kept them all none of them is lost I did not lose one single one of them except Judas and Judas did it because he wanted to and even though I I gave Judas a warning and I told him one of you should
Betray me he knew it was him but yet he decided to do what he did anyway okay all right so so Jesus uh fulfilled that request by giving us an example by that shouldn’t have done like that by keeping us uh by giving us instructions hold
On getting ahead of myself here by uh giving us instructions and uh by praying for us all right this this is a thing I want to spend just a little bit more time on too I don’t know why that does that why it’s numbering it should be
Four okay uh by praying for us now I want to look at um one verse let’s go back to Hebrews again Hebrews chapter 7 and I want to look at verses 22 through 26 we talk we we’ve talked about that uh he’s able to keep us out of Temptation
By giving us an example by giving us instructions by keeping us literally when when we need to be kept but also I like this part by praying for us he mentions four time in the Gospel of John in the high Priestly prayer I’m praying for him I’m praying for him I’m praying
For him but when we look at Hebrews chapter 7 as Jesus is in his present day role and as high priest over the church I want to look at one of the things that he’s doing now all right so let me know when you get there okay good all right let’s look at
This by so much was Jesus made a sh or a guarantee of a better Covenant and they the priest of all truly were many priests because they were not suffered to to continue by reason of death but this man because he continued forever hath an unchangeable priesthood wherefore he is
Able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him seeing he liveth and maketh intercession for them for such so such a high priest became us but he is Holy as of the butt who is Holy harmless undefiled separate from Sinners and made higher than the heavens
Let me go ahead who needeth not daily as those High priests to offer up sacrifices first for himself uh for his own sin and then for the sins and then for the people uh for this he did once when he offered up himself now what what
The writer of Hebrews is telling us is that in times past there were high priests there were good high priests some of them were very good high priests just like there were Kings there were some very good Kings but none of them was able to stay because of
What they died very good they died then as I as I was talking to Sunday you would have a king who would he may he may have reigned for 40 years as a good King and then you had a rascal to come after him and and the Rascal
Overturn backed up everything that the good King did and so the people had to start all over again and so it was with the priest you would have a good priest but then you may have a bad priest now the the the goal was to have a good
Priest that could live forever but but still you had a problem in that even a good priest was not sinless so the writer says we have a double blessing here one we have a good priest who is righteous who is Holy who is Sanctified actually have a triple
Blessing two you have a priest who high priest who is like us he understands but then third you have a high priest that lives forever so nobody’s coming after him he’s not going to sin he hasn’t sined he doesn’t need to offer these sacrifices daily for himself and then
For the people he’s a good priest he reign s forever and that priest the Bible says is able to make intercession for us here here it says uh he daily lives to make intercession wait a minute it did say that didn’t it okay there was there was a place
Where it says he makes intercession for us where is it 25th verse yes yes that’s it thank you I knew I written it down all right so so he seeing he ever liveth to maketh intercession for us that’s verse 25 he is living his goal is to encourage his
Brethren coming after him that they’ve come through uh Hebrews chapter 12 I’m I’m just adding this okay this is not what the Bible says I’m adding this it says we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses now I’m I’m likening that to people that ever have you ever running a
Race or seen people running a marathon when they get through some of them will turn around after they rest and the people coming after them you know they’re cheering them on right okay so so I’m likening Hebrews CH 12 verse 1 seeing that we’re surrounded by that great cloud of witnesses those people
Have finished their race the Bible doesn’t say that I’m using that as an illustration they finished their race but but I believe that that just like they have finished their race there probably if they know anything about the Earth and and the Bible doesn’t say they do I
Don’t know I’m just making this up but if they know anything about the Earth they’re sitting around cheering us on hold out don’t yield to that stay true God is able to deliver you pray now they can’t say it they can’t come visit us they can’t tell us I’m not saying that
They do that I’m not necessarily believing in that but I think if there’s anything as I said if there’s anything like them watching us and knowing what’s going on they’re cheering for us they’re cheering for us to make it just like others who run a marathon turn around
And they cheer for others to make it come on man you just got a little bit further to go keep going don’t give up don’t give in keep going uh Jesus though is there making intercession for us okay so let me let me start where I wanted to
Start tonight I gave you 30 minutes worth of review all right so we’re finishing up now the end of the Lord’s pray prayer the model prayer uh the end of The Lord’s Prayer goes like this for thine is the kingdom the power and the glory forever and ever
Amen this is what we call the doxology a doxology is a response of praise to God’s goodness it is an exclamation of Thanksgiving it is uh a a a a a uh a recitation of praise to God so when Jesus ends The Lord’s Prayer he ends by
Teaching us two things one is that when we pray we ought to end with a prayer of Thanksgiving a prayer of worship that’s the first thing but the second thing he teaches us is that we can be certain that if we pray according to this model not not verbatim but asking the things
That are included in this model prayer that we can be certain that we receive answers and the certainty is based on four things and this is what I have here a certainty based on God’s sovereignty and I’m going to take Define sovereignty for you it says thine is the kingdom but
It also says thine is the power thine is the glory or the Excellence is what that word literally means thine it and all of it is thine forever and forever in other words your eternality eternality in other words the fact that you’re going to live forever
So so we can pray what Jesus taught us to pray based on on our worship of God and the certainty that we have of God’s sovereignty of God’s power of God’s Excellency and the fact that God exists forever now we’re going to we’re going to break each of these down and we’re
Going to talk about them uh right now and again I I’ll get these to you because I put a lot in my slides okay all right now let’s start with thine is the king Kingdom the word Kingdom uh Basia which which is one of the words that we use
For rulership uh some fraternities have a grand barcelos which means a person who rules the the the one who is in charge um the’s definition is uh barcelia is is the royal power it is kingship it is Dominion it is not it is rulership it is not the actual
Kingdom but it is the right or authority to rule the kingdom I’m going to show you why that’s important uh Satan right now in terms of the earth is basically ruling it now listen stay with me stay with me God has ultimate Authority but Satan is described as a
Prince of the power of the air now here here’s a point that I want to bring to you ultimately even though Satan uses men because God has Sovereign Authority the end of all that Satan will do will play into the hands and the will of God let
Me give you an example the Bible says if the princes of this world had known they never would have crucified the Lord Of Glory do you remember that scripture okay anybody not remember it please tell me if you don’t okay uh I believe some of you not
Telling me the truth so I’m going to look at it okay uh let’s see here Lord of Glory I think it says Lord Of Glory or king of glory one of the two uh let’s see 1 Corinthians 2:8 I hear a voice from on high tells me so let’s look at
That 1 Corinthians 28 okay let’s look at that and I probably need to back up to a few more verses uh First Corinthians 28 is where we’re GNA uh where we’re going to we’re going to pass through I don’t know I’m going to end there or not
But but let’s start it 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and let’s see um let’s start at verse 7 Paul is talking about the wisdom that he speaks 1 Corinthians 2 we’re going to begin at verse 7 it says but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery even the
Hidden wisdom which God ordained before the world unto our Glory here’s here’s the key which none of the princes of this world now the prince of this world refers to demonic spirits and Satan himself for had they they known they would not have crucified the Lord Of
Glory as it is written I have not seen nor he has heard neither has he enter to the heart of man the things which God has prepared for them that love him but God has revealed them to us by his spirit for the spirit such as all things
Ye the Deep things of God if if Satan had known that by getting Jesus a Judas to crucify je or to to to uh betray Jesus he probably never would have known it because by crucifying Jesus it destroyed his rulership his authority over the earth now remember when Jesus was being
Tempted Satan took him up into a mountain and said all and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and then he said what to him I give it to him if you cast yourself down very good he said all the
These things I’ll give to you if you cast yourself down now one of the one of the gospels and I’m going to try to find it says uh for these things are delivered unto me how would they delivered unto him they were delivered unto him because
Adam who had dominion over the Earth had given it to him Adam when they sin gave Satan a right to come in and basically do whatever he get away with in the earth now please remember I’m not saying that Satan is God over all the Earth because
He is not God In the End of Time in his own due time will bring everything back to the way it’s supposed to be written I mean supposed to be done all right let’s look at um let’s look at Luke chapter 4 and we want to look at uh beginning
At uh verse number five Luke chapter 4 verse number five I I I i’ like to try to go back and prove what I what I’m saying I don’t want you to accept anything that I say at face value I am never going to purposefully lie to you
But you need the scriptures to back it up okay you need the scriptures to back it up and so that’s what I’m trying to do give you the scriptures to back it up because Satan is going to come to you or come at you or may come at you and you
Can’t say like like the men of ska I rebuke you in the name that Pastor Wilder preaches you can’t do that you you got to have it in you for yourself you have to say it is written this is what God says forget Pastor Wilder this is what God God
Says all right so Luke chapter 4 and let’s look at verse 5 are we there and the devil taking him up into a high mountain showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and the devil said unto him all this power will I give thee and the
Glory of them for that is delivered of unto me and to whomsoever I will I give it now Adam delivered it unto him Jesus came to take it back now it was a Temptation we just got through talking about Temptation because Jesus knew he was born to go to the
Cross and Satan said in essence and this is why he rebuked pet Peter as you remember you don’t have to go to the cross you don’t have to be tried like that let’s take the easy way fall down before me I’ll give it to you I’ll
Give it no cross I’ll give it to you but Jesus knew that if he had bowed down to worship him then one Jesus would have sinned and would have been trapped in sin second of all that would never have been Redemption for mankind because he is the only begotten Son of God Lucifer
Would have trapped him Michael couldn’t come Gabriel couldn’t come none of the other Angels could come there was no other son there was nobody else so even though the cross is in the background even though he knows he’s got to go there and be separated from God
It’s better to to resist temptation do do what God says even though it’s harder But realize in the end there’s a better reward so so Satan may do things now but in the end of time everything is going to be delivered back into the hands of God who is who
Alone he alone has the authority to rule over what goes on be the same thing if you left your house and you left a baby babysitter in charge and while you’re gone the babysitter or the dog sitter does whatever in the world they want to in your house okay that’s what Satan is
Doing okay but when you come back you have the right to straighten everything out and bring it back into Conformity with your will and that’s what Jesus now is doing he’s bringing everything back into Conformity so when we talk about thine is the kingdom again we’re talking
About his Sovereign rulers ship not just the kingdom itself but his ability to rule over the kingdom and he alone has that because he created everything Satan never created a thing in his entire existence all he does is pervert uh I’ve talked to you about you know certain days uh Satan did not
Invent October 31st which is called Halloween he didn’t invent that he does have the right to take that and say this is my day you ain’t got no day you didn’t invent no day you ain’t got no day you don’t have no right to do that you don’t have the
Right to claim any season of the year you don’t have a right to anything because you never created anything all you did was pervert what God has created and then claim that is yours it ain’t yours it is not yours it belongs to God the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness
Thereof the world the cosmos and they that dwell therein all of it belongs to God and he has no right to any of it none of it not now peace okay all right now let let’s look at the fact that God is the ultimate ruler so so Jesus is is telling us here
We we can be certain that when we pray in line with what he has taught us to pray that that that there is a certainty that God will answer the prayer now I know sometimes we we we pray and things aren’t answered when we think they ought
To be but but I’m going with the Bible says I don’t know all the reasons why they’re not answered when we think they ought to answer but I’m just telling you what the Bible says my goal my mission my calling is to tell you what the Bible says not what experience
Says all right so let’s begin we want to look at this 1 Chronicles not Corinthians but Chronicles in the Old Testament uh Chronicles comes after second Kings 1 Chronicles 29 verse1 I like this verse this is one of the things that that we quote when we bring our offering uh I’m
Going to begin at verse number number 10 and then I’m going to read a little bit further U maybe go to verse 13 uh 1 Corinthians there I go 1 Chronicles chapter 29 let’s begin at verse number 10 let me know when you get there give
Me a high five a wave a wink or something okay good all right all right first Chronicles 29 let’s begin at verse 10 wherefore David blessed the Lord before all the congregation and this is after they dedicated Temple remember David brought all the stuff and prepared
It for Solomon and David said blessed be thou Lord God of Israel Our Father forever and ever thine O Lord is the greatness and the power and the glory and the Victory and the Majesty for all that is in heaven and in Earth is thine thine is the kingdom oh Lord and thou
Are exalted as head above all both riches and honor come of thee and thou reth over all and in thy hand is power Jesus said that too and might and in thy hand it is to make great and to give strength unto all now therefore our Our
God we thank thee and praise thy glorious name David acknowledged there were a lot of enemies out there but you put me up above all of them all that we have brought belongs to you there is nothing that belongs to anybody there’s nothing in this world that does not belong to God
Nothing Satan perverted it we help him a lot but all of it belongs to God everything belongs to God and everything was created for his glory everything sex was created for his glory and for our good we perverted it like you wouldn’t believe but it’s for his glory some of U
Uh mushrooms they tell me that there are certain mushrooms that you can boil and get high off of them they were not made for you to get high and blow your brains out never gun powder was not made for you to shoot somebody I heard there was a
Shooting today as a Kansas City Chiefs were celebrating the Super Bowl victory never meant for that hemp which is what people make marijan and stuff out of was never meant for you to waste your brains and to kill your brain cells never ever ever but the perversion of Satan coming
Through man has caused us to take God’s good creation and just perverted all kinds of ways all right let’s look at Psalm Psalms 145 and I want to look at verse verses 10 through1 13 all all all I’m trying to get to you is the fact that God owns
Everything he is a sovereign ruler so even though Satan may have his way with some people the kingdom is God’s The Sovereign rulership is God the New Testament says God will bruise Satan under your feet will shortly bruise Satan under your feet he has Sovereign rulership Psalm 145 let’s begin at verse

Place and he didn’t have a seminary degree but he pred prays and he fast and God put him there and God established him so you know and he admits is not me there’s another pastor and I’m trying to think of his name he’s a black guy um it’s in
Baltimore he’s supposed to be coming down to U visit visit with my wife and I soon uh and I’m sorry I can’t remember his name I hope he’s not watching tonight um but anyway he doesn’t have a seminary degree pastors one of the largest churches black churches in the United
States what wh why why is he there because God put him there why did God put him there just to let us know it ain’t your degrees it’s good if you can get an education I think it’s helpful if you can get an education but don’t think
It’s of you because it’s not of you and that’s what God is trying to tell Nebuchadnezzar yeah I allowed you to get here to serve my purposes I allowed you to get here and God puts over his kingdoms anybody he wants and nobody has anything to say about who he puts over

What they call straw bosses right you just there you’re figurehead somebody else behind the scenes is pulling the strings but but God says I have the right to rule and I’ve got the power to rule so when we look at Power the word Damas the word Damas from the’s
Dictionary is strength it is power it is ability here’s a part that I like this is part you got to get 1 a it is inherent power residing In A Thing by virtue of its nature it is not power that is put upon us not power somebody said okay we elect

The power to glorify his own name when Jesus was uh praying he said I think he was praying um but I know he prayed this he said father glorify name and then there was a voice from Heaven said I have both glorified it and I’m going to glorify it

Can make their own decision ision and you’ll still end up where God told you to be you can run from here to Alaska and when you get there if God told you to do something when you step off the boat or or the airplane or whatever there going to be somebody
Stand there saying you know God told you to do so and so didn’t you you ain’t getting away you not getting away so so Jesus tells us God has that power he has that ability and is inherit in himself so he ain’t depending on nobody
