Good afternoon everyone and welcome to all of you uh right now it is the fourth session and it is the last session of this seminar so our special guest is Dr Chandra shakar yadav who is a professor and dean of school of computer application n Institute of engineering
And technology so he will talk on synergistic pedagogy for a unified and dynamic educational experience so I will uh and I would like to invite our principal sir Dr pin pachori principal of government poly Technic Shivan who will introduce Dr Chandra Shar y thank you thank you Professor Sona indeed it’s
A great day that we are going to hear Professor CS yadav because he is an eminent professor of computer science who has more than 2.5 Decades of experience in technical education he’s one of the key partners of private education system in uttar Pradesh those who have been Pioneer in adopting the outcome based
Education system in technical education so first of all I take privilege to express our heartfelt gratitude to the dignitaries who are behind the success of this seminar first of all I take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude to honorable chief minister of Bihar honorable minister of Department of science technology and Technical
Education honorable secretary Department of science technology and Technical education honorable director Department of science technology and Technical education and respected senior dignitaries in the department of science technology and Technical education those who are always inspiring that we should go ahead for New Dimensions in Improvement of technical education of
The state of Bihar so this seminar so far has uh seen many dimensions of outcome based education system in the light of new education policy the family faculty members and students they are now familiar with the concept of course outcomes program outcomes program educational objectives and how they are
Driven how they are measured what the research role is how the research is prominent these days and how the research is evaluated by the accreditation agencies now it is the high time that we should conclude in a synergistic way and I don’t find any other person other than
Dr CS yadav who has so vast experience of teaching UG and PG students that he can share his knowledge about synergetic pedagogy for unified and dynamic educational system so without taking much time I warmly welcome Dr CS Yad for sparing his valuable time and sharing some pieces from his knowledge bank and
I hope that all the participants will definitely feel themselves enlighted and certainly it will change the mindset for new dimension in the current ERA the requirements are changing so the educational system should also keep paace with the changing needs and uh I hope that Dr CS yadav will connect the
Market aspirations as well as the abilities which the institutions have but they are underutilized so I hope after the lectures we will be able to find out the new Pathways and we’ll reach to New Heights all the best to all the participants thank you thank you sir thank
You good morning good afternoon ladies and gentlemen good afternoon sir first I would like to thank my friend Dr pravin pachori principal Government par Technic Ian I would like to thank Miss swarnika and her team for inviting me to talk about synergistic pedagogy for a unified and dynamic educational experience
Your theme is very good teaching pedagogy in the light of NEP 2020 very good topic sir you have chosen very good topic and this is the need of the hour I think this fdp started on February 19th and today is second day of the fdp and you have all heard many speakers
On the subject and now you are all familiar with NE 2020 and outcome based education so I start my session with asking the question okay can anyone tell me about the Salient features of new National Education policy 20120 a to 202 except should be interactive they can only chat
Okay the teachers who are sitting there they should have interaction who is the chairman of drafting Committee of new National Education policy 2020 it’s a very tough question sir for young young Bloods Krishna Swami curri rangan was chairman of this dting committee and this committee was set up in
2017 and draft is submitted to government in 2019 and in 2020 we are trying to implement this National Education policy 2020 draft is very good but challenge is implementation how to implement whatever written in the draft this is the main thing okay can anyone tell me about the framework of outcome based education
This is the central theme of National Education policy 20120 and this was missing in our traditional education policy you all know education is the process of receiving and giving systematic instruction at the school or university level and we get enlightening experiences outcomes means end results are consequences outcome based education
Means students are not only receiving instructions for getting the degree through passing the examination but also they get knowledge skill attitude through education for analyzing the things designing new things investigating complex problem applying modern tools and using managerial and Leadership skills to develop sustainable product for solving complex problem for the
Betterment of the society my topic is synergistic pedagogy for a unified and dynamic educational experiences so as you all know Synergy means if two person individually give performance then if they work together and give the performance then performance of as a team is greater than the performance of individual persons why
Because one + 1al 11 Andy means philosophy of teaching methodology of teaching and this is the children teaching but for higher education androgogy adult teaching but very we use pedagogy everywhere for higher education also we use pedagogy I am audible sir hello yes sir yes sir you are clearly
A please okay thank you sir so here synergistic means we consider all the domain of learning objective as you all know that say there are three domain of learning objective cognitive domain effective domain and psychomotor domain and one another domain is spiritual domain I will not cover that spiritual domain we will
Cover only three domain so we have to apply all the domains synergistically in our teaching learning then student will connect to you otherwise the student will not connect to you if you use only the cognitive domain and left the effective domain and psychomotor domain then nobody will participate in your class
Actively and in new education policy is a learner centered and engagement should be high active learner there should be active learner so we have to use all these three domains cognitive domain effective domain and psychomotor domain and as you all know that Bloom’s proposed taxonomy classification of learning objective in
1956 and is still that classification is relevant a lot of research and a lot of changes in that tonomy but people are still doing research in that tonomy and I think your principal is know all the domains very well because he first explore all the domains of teaching learning he is a good
Storyteller and he connect students with effective domain and that’s why in his class always 100% students present in his class why because since beginning he is using effective domain he always helps the students and you also know Hands-On skill the LA practical oriented activity based learning project based learning so I
Think he he is the best example who use all the domains synergistically many people use all the domains but there is no Synergy among all the domains so as you all know that cognitive domain is related to brain but thinking thought process all are in your brain and then effective domain people
Generally say affective means affect us feeling love emotion attitude behavior these comes into the effective domain and related to heart and psycho motor motor means movement movement of the body hand at this time there is a movement of our lip tongue and whatever I am thinking psycho motor is
Working and I am trying to connect with you all effective domain is also working so whenever you are giving any lecture emotions should be in your lecture then only people will listen your lecture and you have to tell the students present this thing calculate this thing then he
Will whenever he speak then psychomotor domain is also effective so you can’t say that ke in isolation in silos we can use only cognitive domain you can’t use only the learning objective of cognitive domain synergetically all the domains are active but we more focus on only the
Cognitive domain and less focus on the effective and psychomotor domain that’s why students are not coming in the class and they are rejecting our teachers and I hope now your government poly Technic School uh college is in the hand of learned principal Dr Prine pachori and very soon your diploma
Engineering diploma will be integrated your program will be NBA accredited in engineering there are 12 POS but in engineering diploma there are only seven POS program outcomes and he is the expert of outcome based education and I hope uh government poly Technic engineering government poly Technic Sian
Will be the first college in which all the programs will be NBA accredited he is the mentor of many colleges who got NBA accredited in btech program thank you sir in biar Sian government poly Technic Sian will be first college who all program will be NBA ACC accredited
Sir now let me share my slide okay is PP visible to you all yes sir yes sir yes sir your screen is visible sir okay the title is synergistic pedagogy for a unified and dynamic educational experience topics to be covered today first Salient features of National Education policy 2020 p is not visible
Only sir your laptop folder is visible but your p is not visible sir please kindly open p sir but in my laptop it is visible no sir sir only folder is visible sir hello open the pp sir yeah PP is open no sir and it is visible in my
Laptop no sir let me share again please sir kindly sir for hello yes sir yes sir The Faculty development program on synergistic pedagogy for a unified and dynamic educational experience topics to be covered first Salient features of National Education policy 2020 then synergistic pedagogy Unified and dynamic educational experiences key constituents of outcome
Based education course outcomes program outcomes Coop poo mapping Co attainment and po attainment Salient features of the National Education policy 2020 first main thing is in this draft is Early Childhood care and education ecce means as you all know that our brain 80% our brain has been developed in the age of 3
To 6 years so government is planning early stages we want to Ste knowledge skills and behavior in the students and five years given to that children for learning purpose as you all know that if you live any children of three years in the Tamil Nadu he or she
Can easily learn the Tamil language language but adult can’t learn that Tamil language as fast as children learn then Second National curriculum and pedagogical framework for the development of children up to 8 years old and how it will be possible government is thinking that through angan body we cover all the
Students and so that student can learn early stage and through play based activity based learning we can instill knowledge attitude and behavior to the students draft is very good but implementation is still challenge but I appreciate the draft of National Education policy 2020 then second thing is universal access our aim is 100%
Grass enrollment ratio in school education by 2030 at present 57% grass enrollment ratio in school first we follow 10+ two but in new policy we follow 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 what is the five five years for foundational courses and three years for Preparatory courses and three years
For middle and four is for secondary schools and with the flexibility and integration of the subjects to in five years three years for Early Childhood care system then first and second in five years then third fourth fifth in the three years program and again first second third third fourth
Fifth and sixth 7th eth in again this this three years and 9th 10th 11 12th in four years so this is the major change in our new education policy and our emphasis on the foundational literacy and numeracy actually government conducted a survey then our students are very poor in
Reading Writing and math skills so if we at early stage we instill these knowledge into our students then obvious our country will be developed very soon and our all the people will be familiar with numery and they are able to read write and they are able to apply maths in daily
Life again multilingualism and mother tongue this is also very important government is focusing give the education in their mother tongue or Regional languages and student can learn at least three languages any uh Regional language then Hindi English or Sanskrit and English three language they can learn at early stage till grade
8 and third one is holistic development our focus should be on physical education life skills Arts vocational education and social emotional learning also and assessment reforms we are trying to develop a parak across all the states and Union territory and through that we can assess our
Student as you all know that the full form of the parak p a k h p r a k h means uh performance assessment review and Analysis of knowledge for holistic development our government is developing a nation wise Assessment Center our aim is to increase the ger graduate enrollment ratio grass
Enrollment ratio to 50% by 2035 at present this ratio is 27.5% and in this regard we are adding 3.5 CR new seats to higher education institutions we focus on multidisciplinary holistic undergraduate education our cabus should be flexible and we are planning for multiple entry and exit options and integration of vocational
Educations also so in traditional system there are uh there were three streams one is Art stream second one is science and then Commerce but here there is no separation of the streams student can learn maths with cooking subjects learn biology with physical education then there is no clear-cut boundary and we support
Multi-disciplinary and holistic development and here also we can uh suppose after one year you can exit the program after some time you can again enter into another institutes your credit will be transferred for that courses this option is also available in New National Education policy 2020 and integration of the vocational education
Actually in India we are not considering Plumbing carp carpent carpentering and electric electricity electrician jobs we think this is the low skill jobs but our government is focus on this vocational training through cognitive level skills we should know also handson on these various skills and for uh multiple entry and exit options we
Uh create a academic Bank of credit so that we can transfer credit between the institutions and student can continue their study after dropping the courses then anytime they can start their study this is also very good thing in the National Education policy 2020 teacher education reforms main
Agent is teacher so this draft is mainly focus on the pre training of the teachers and exhaustive training of the teachers again we develop various norms and Edition bodies for assuring the quality of the education public investment should be 6% of the GDP by 2030 but I think this is very less that
Should be 12 % of the GDP then only we can implement this draft why I am saying that very difficult uh to implement because we population wise we have 140 CR so 6% of the GDP budget is very less 100% we can’t Implement all the draft which is written into this policy
Technology integration utilizing technology for Effective learning and administration the use of the technology as you all know that after covid all are using technology and through technology I am delivering my talk to you all inclusive education focus on Equitable access and opportunity to all this is the building of assessment center
Parak full form of the park is performance assessment review and Analysis of knowledge for holistic development then what is the synergistic pedagogy synergistic pedagogy refers to an approach to teaching that emphasizes the combination of all the learning objectives and integration of multiple educational elements to create a powerful learning experience greater
Than the sum of its part this is called synergistic effect we are not working in silos synergistically we should work and we have to use all the learning objective s uh synergistically in our teaching learning benefits of synergistic pedagogy deeper understanding and engagement with subject matter development of critical
Thinking to student can think out of the box and problem solving skill they can develop problem solving skills we can motivate our students we can improve the communication skills and collaboration skills of the students and student we can prepare the students for lifelong learning and they can easily handle the
Real world challenges through our teaching learning unified and Dynam Dynamic educational experiences why I saying that unified and dynamic educational experiences in the new National educational policy we are unified the things because there should be one entrance examination there should be one board examination so we are unified the things
And dynamic means whatever changes uh with the time occur one Society we are trying to adopt that changes in our curriculum so unified and dynamic educational experience why education is only experience and you have to provide the learning experience to your learner the subjects are not isolated silos but interconnected and
Women together to create a tapestry of knowledge students are not passive recipients of the information but active participants so if you want to make your students active then you have to use effective domain and through effective domain you can make your students active who construct their own understanding through exploration
Collaboration and problem solving skills technology is not a distraction but a powerful tool that amplifies learning develops creativity and personalizes The Learning Journey learning environment should not be static but constantly evolving adoped to the needs and interest of the learner and the everchanging word around the around them this is very important
Slide there are three learning outcomes knowledge skill attitude as you all know that knowledge is related to cognitive domain domain thinking thought process visualization imagination all these things in the cognitive domain and effective domain feeling attitude behavior these comes into the effective domain and third one is psychomotor domain means your body
Movement hands movement so there are three Edge head hand and heart and you have to balance all these things Mahatma Gandhi said what you think and what you say and what you do there should be synchronization among all these things actually boring lecture Synergy is very important in all these three
Domain in cognitive domain there are six levels in cognitive domain there are six level first is remembering second one is understanding then appli applying analysis evaluating and creating these are the six level in cognitive domain so remembering is lower level and creating is at higher level so there are six
Level in cognitive domain and you have to apply all the levels in your teaching then in effective domain also there are five level one is receiving second one is responding third one is organizing fourth one is valuing and fifth one is characterization these are five levels of effective domain so in the class
First you have to check whether your students is receiving your information or not so how will you check this thing through asking the question question if you ask the question and the student responds it means that whatever you want to deliver that information is received by the students the second level pay
Responding the receiving and responding interactive class then valuing valuing the things after discussion student will give the value of that information how much this information is valuable for us the student will create value to all the informations and in organizing skills again they organize what is the most
Valuable for us what is the least valuable for us and in this way they organize the things suppose in examination time uh exercise is least valuable than study study is more valuable than exercise but if you want to keep you fit then exercise is more valuable than study in this way student
Organize the all the values and then prioritize the values and act accordingly and after that characterization in characterization whatever they create the value systems they instill that value in their character so without thinking they behave like that so that is the high level of effective domain characterization and they act without
Thinking any things because all that things all that values are in their behavior then comes psychomotor domain so hands on experience is related to psycho motor domain again there are five levels in this domain first one is imitate so at early State students copy the teacher and then imitate imitation next level is
Manipulation on the basis of the memory they manipulate the things and after manipulation Precision then they perform actions precisely this is the high level then articulate combining various actions and create new actions that is called articulation and then articulations naturalization and again uh if uh at that that level they
Can perform complex action with very easily through practice so this is also very important Cy motor domain so you have to consider all these three domains in a synergistic way this is about Bloom’s techonomy and I have already told about that in 1956 blooms proposed the six levels of cognitive domain knowledge comprehension
Apply analiz synthesis and evaluation and in 2000 revised and all the noun is rep reped by verb like remembering understanding applying analyzing evaluating and creating and as you all know that we should use the action words and your outcome should be specific miserable attainable relevant and in time bound
Manner these are related to cognitive domains then effective domain receiving responding valuing organizing characterization in psychomotor domain levels are imitation manipulation Precision articulation and Naturalization and now this slide is related to Preamble of constitution of India actually all these things are mentioned in our constitution of India
So you should know about constitution of India also if you are going to design your vision mission then you should know about the Preamble of constitution of India I’m am going to read the Preamble of the Constitution of India we the people of India having Solly resolved to constitute India into Sovereign
Socialist secular Democratic Republic and to secure to all its citizen justice social justice economic Justice politic iCal Justice Liberty of thought expression belief faith and worship equality of status and equal opportunity to all fraternity assuring the Dignity of the individual and unity and integrity of the nation in our constient assembly
This 26th day of November 1949 do hereby adopt enact and give to ourself this Constitution and Constitution provides various rights and duties these six fundamental rights you all know right to Freedom right to freedom of religion right to equality right against exploitation right to constitutional remedies cultural and educational rights
The educational rights are mentioned in the fundamental rights and our National Education policy also says that un un we access to all the children right to education so right to education already mentioned in our constition and we are trying to increase our grass enrollment ratio then 11 fundamental duties in 11
Fundamental duties last Duty provide opportunities for education to his child between the age of 6 to 14 years already mentioned in our fundamental duties so these you all should remember our fundamental rights and duties Duties are also very important generally Indian uh sa for the right but don’t
Perform the duties the duty is first and then ask for right so these 11 fundamental duties abide by the Constitution and respect national flag and Anthem to follow and cherish Noble ideals to uphold hold and protect sovereignity integrity and unity of the country to defend and render service to
Nation when called upon to do so to promote Harmony and spirit of brother Brotherhood to Value I’m asking about the valuing the things to value and preserve Rich Heritage of composite culture to protect and improve natural resources to promote scientific temperament already mentioned to promote scientific temperament and Spirit of
Inquiry exploration all are mentioned in our fundamental duties to strive for excellence we are talking about the Excellence in education already mentioned in our fundamental duties to strive for excellence in all these spares to protect public property and it is the duty of all the Guardians provide opportunity for the education to his
Child and W between the age of 6 to 14 years means we have we have to provide education to all the students again third thing is sustainable development goals this is also in the PO of engineering diploma sustainable development goals so these are the 17 sustainable goals no poverty
Zero hunger good health and well-being quality education is also in the sustainable development goals gender equality clean water and sanitization affordable and clean energy decent work and economic growth industry Innovation Innovation is in the sustainable development goals reduced inequalities sustainable cities and Communications responsible consumption and production climate
Action Life Below water we have to protect protect the animals below the water in the water and on the land peace Justice and strong institutions and again partnership among all the countries for achieving these goals so you have to consider these 17 goals also for strategic planning you
Should remember these 17 goals and try to incorporate all these goals in your teaching learning now the key con of outcome based education for outcome based educations we go from top to down in designing phase so if Institute design their Vision First design their Vision then Mission and after that Institute
Will Design their program educational objectives and then program outcomes with the help of the 12 graduate attributes and then we uh design various course outcomes but in implementation we follow bottom to top down first we have to attain our Co and with the help of the
Course outcome we will attain the PO and with the help of Po we will attain the program educational objectives and then this in this way we meet our vision so this is the key conents of outcome based education as you all know that Vision means futuristic goal that is called the
Vision long-term goal is called vision and with the help of the mission we achieve our vision mission is a ladder through which we will achieve our vision and then through this slide you can can easily understand can Mission acts as ladder and with the help of this
Ladder we achieve our long-term goal or futuristic goal the vision is related to Future and Mission is related to present this is the example of vision of Amazon to read this Vision vision of Amazon is to be Earth’s most customer entric company where customers can find and discover
Anything they might want to buy online Global Reach customer prioritization anything they might want to buy online this is the vision of Amazon and Mission is we strive to offer our customer the lowest possible prices the best avilable selection and atmost convenience the three things through which we can achieve the global Reach
Customer prioritization and anything they might want to buy online with the help of this Mission we achieve so this is the vision and mission of the Amazon company in this slide again we describe the things in detail vision and Mission vision statement means what does the organization want to achieve in the
Future in the five year 10 years it is what ultimately The Firm or a person would like to become vision is a statement that depicts organization’s aspiration for the future position mission statement means where the organization is at present it is what an organization is and why it exist it describes objectives
And its approach to reach those objectives Vision talks about future while Mission talks about present mission statement is cause and vision statement is an effect vision is longterm while mission is shortterm the purpose of vision statement is to inspire all the stakeholders of an organization while purpose of mission
Statement is to inform the objective of an organization peos posos and graduate attributes program educational objectives means after 3 to 5 years of the graduation student will achieve these objectives the outcome after 3 to five years is called program educational objectives outcome come after completing the program is called program
Outcomes the students abilities capabilities at the time of graduation suppose if your students complete the diploma then immediately what students acquired through their study that is called program outcomes and suppose your diploma student placed on any company or organization then we will assess what he achieve after 3 to five years
That is called program educational objectives and program outcomes is related to graduate attributes these are the various characteristics which is defined by the wasan Accord and students should acquire these skills after completing their program this is the seven program outcomes of of engineering diploma first program outcome basic and discipline specific
Knowledge the students should acquire knowledge related to basic subjects and specific discipline second student uh should have able to analyze the problem using the acquired knowledge then student will be able to design develop the solution after the analysis of the problem or after problem definition student will be able to
Design and develop the solution then student will be able to use engineering tools student will able to perform experiment student will be able to test and then fifth one is engineering practices for society sustainability and environment that’s why I am talking about about the sustainable development goals this is the fifth program outcomes
In which sustainability is mentioned so your project should be sustainable and uh that 17 sustainable goals proposed by the United Nations and all countries should achieve that goal by 2030 and sixth one is Project management and seventh is lifelong learning you have ability to learn any
New things and you have to prepare for the challenges of 21st century and you are able to learn the skills which is needed in 21st century so these are the various program outcomes of engineering diploma this is not related to any a specific Branch this is the common
Program outcomes a specific Branch can design their own program specific outcomes that is called psos so two or three you can design your program is specific outcomes then comes course outcome so there are two terminology course objective and course outcomes so generally course objective is teacher Centric and course outcome is student
Centric means student is able to learn the things and course objective means teacher is going to deliver these that things suppose teacher is thinking I am delivering this things but students is not receiving the ultimate your teaching should be student Centric mean student should be able to learn the things and
We have to assess that things whether our students are learning or not with the help of all these three domains cognitive domain effective domain and then psychomotor domain so course outcome it can be broken into three things an action word that identifies performance to be demonstrated statements that specifies
What learning will be demonstrated in the performance broad statement of the criteria are standard for acceptable performance then again we can divide our knowledge into various category factual knowledge conceptual knowledge procedural knowledge then metacognitive skills fundamental design principles criteria and specific ification practical constants design instrument instrumentalities again we classify
Knowledge into various levels and then cognitive process already remember understand apply analyze evaluate and create to your assessment items and your instructional activities and course outcomes all are aligned with each other suppose you are teaching related to evaluation but your assessment is related to remember then means there is no Synergy
Among the course outcome assessment items and instructional activities the assessment item means examination system there are two types of the assessment formative assessment and summative assessment and formative assessment means we assess the students and we have to tell the student these are the weak area and please improve this week area
And sumita at the end of the semester we conduct the end semester examination in new uh educa National Education policy in is initially there is only one board examination but in new education uh National Education policy 2020 there should be two examination of the board in a
Year why because uh to reduce the burden of the students or suppose if students not perform well in the first examination then they can perform well in second examination and in this way we can save one year of the students but very difficult to conduct two board
Examination in a year so here also there is a Synergy among course outcomes assessment items and instructional activities so generally course outcome is of higher level but assessment and instruction activities of lower level then there is no use of delivering the knowledge skills and attitude to our
Students so this is the revised Bloom vet tchomy table and these three things are aligned with understanding level and knowledge is of conceptual level so here your course outcome three and assessment item three and instructional activities three all are aligned with in this cell in this way we can align our course
Outcome assessment item and instructional activities then this slide is related to Copo mapping so suppose we design our five course outcomes of any subjects and you have to map your course outcome with program outcomes and at what level is your course outcome you for understanding level AP for application Level there are
Six level and uh first level is remembering then understanding then application analysis then evaluating and creating and here we can categorize our Co into knowledge category fact factual and conceptual label knowledge class session how many sessions we require to cover this course outcome in this way we maintain all the
Information in the this table here we required two Theory session for covering the course outcome two we required four class sessions and four lab sessions again for CO3 we require 14 Theory session and four lab sessions in this way to cover all the course outcomes we need 24 lab sessions and 40 class
Sessions after that we will develop these things the po1 is related to co1 CO2 CO3 and total number of the sessions we need 28 for uh program outcome is related to co1 and CO2 and we need 10 sessions and P3 is related to CO2 CO3
And we need 26 sessions in this way we calculate the total number of the sessions for covering the cosos and after that we will find out that number of the sessions devoted for po1 we are devoting 43% sessions for po2 we are devoting 15.6% session in this way way we calculate the
Percentage of number of the sessions devoted and here we give a number if we devoted 10 to 30% of the sessions for covering the po1 means slightly Rel related means we will give one and if we covered 31 to 50% then we will give two and if more than
51% then we will give three in this way we can provide a number into Copo mapping and this number is called mapping strength three is highly correlated one is slightly correlated and two is moderately correlated so here we can form the Copo mapping means all the cosos are moderately related ated to
P1 then slightly correlated to P2 in this way we prepare a matrix this is the Copo mapping subject wise now assessment pattern how we assess yeah how we compute the co attainment so there are two assessment pattern direct attainment and IND Direct attainment Direct in direct attainment internal examination
And external semester examination and assignment these are direct tool and end semester examination is indirect attainment the direct Co attainment in the course equal to we will give 20% vitage to internal examination and 80% weightage to end semester examination and through this formula we will calculate the overall Co
Attainment we will give 90% of direct Co attainment 90% vtes to direct SE attainment and 10% of indirect course outcome attainment 10% wers to indirect course outcome attainment again with the help of the co attainment we can calculate the PO attainment the co indirect attend in the
Course equal to level one this is the formula for indirect attend so through surveys we can calculate the indirect attainment we will ask the question whether you attain the course outcome suppose some students give three some student give two and some students are saying that give we slight slightly
Attain the course outcomes in this way we calculate the indirect attainment the level one into number of the students answered two into number of the students answered and level three into number of the students answered divided by total number of the students through this formula we can calculate the indirect Co
Attainment and 10% vitage we will give to this Co indirect attend and 90% vitage we will give to internal examination external examination and assignment again with the help of this Co attainment we can calculate the PO attainment the PO attainment equal to weighted average of Po into the co
Attainment average divided by three in this way we will calculate the PO attainment and PSO attainment we will calculate with the help of same formula weighted average of PSO into Co attainment average divided by three process of course outcome assessment so the here we have given a
Chart we will give in our College we will give 66.67% to University examination and 33.33% for internal examination it is for Theory and 60% weightage to University examination and 40% weightage for internal Examination for practical and here there are rubrics percentage of this student secured greater than 60% marks is less than
60% well then we will give one if 60 to 80% students have secured greater than 60% marks then we will give two if 80% students have secured greater than 60% marks then we will give three and same rubrics for the internal marks and in this way we assign the number so
First we uh collect the result and after result we analyze the things and this is the overall attainment of a course c equal to 66% weightage to Theory and 32 uh 3% vage to internal marks for Theory and here 60% again for Theory and 40% for practical this is University exam sorry
University exam 60% and then internal marks 40% this is for practical and in this way we calculate the overall course outcome and then with the help of the course outcome we calculate the program outcome again there are two method for p attainment direct tool and indirect tool to indirect tool again
University exam internal marks but indirect tool through exit survey co-curricular activities placement and higher studies we can use this indirect tool for po attainment but we will give only 20% vitage to indirect tool and 80% to direct tool and again in direct tool 80% to University exam and 20% to internal
Examination so these are the rubrics you can make your own rubrics for Po and Co attainment this is the diagram for Po attainment and PSO attainment pa1 pa2 direct p attainment and pb1 pb2 pb3 for indirect direct p attainment and again here we give 80% vitage
To external and 20% vage to internal and here we find out the attainment through various surveys and then take the average of that service and ultimately overall p attainment is 80% for PA and 20% for Pb so in the last we find out the PO attainment okay
2.66 we attained P1 out of three 2.43 we attain out of three and in this way you can calculate in percentage wise and you can set your target we have to achieve 80% of P1 P2 P3 whether Target is achieved or not if your target is not
Achieved you have to take action for achieving that things and if target meets then you can increase the target you can modify the rubrics for attaining the PO these are the result of PSO attainment again how to do Copo mapping there are various methodologies for Copo
Mapping one with the help of the total sessions we can give the strength into the Copo mapping another way if we see the course outcome and program outcomes and we will find out the keywords and how how many percent of keyword matched with the PO and through this we will
Give the exent to Copo map mapping this is the another way suppose 70% keywords matched then we will give three means substantially correlated if 60 to 70% keywords of the co matched with the keywords of the PO then we will give two moderately corelated and if 52 59% keywords of the co matched
With the keywords of the PO then we will give one mean slightly correlated and if if less than 50% keywords matched then no correlation means we will leave the blank in that cell here suppose your po2 is identify formulate review research literature and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusion using
First principle of mathematics Natural Sciences and Engineering Sciences these are the p to and we design a course outcome to analyze different database models and design new relational schema using ER diagram to create normalized relations to manage information of multinational bank so here we will see analyze and here also analyze is a
Keyword the one keyword is matched then database model so this is related to mathematics again matched relational schema it is also related to mathematics matched so out of nine keyword we find out there are nine keywords identify formulate review research literature analyze complex engineering problem and then substantiated calculation mathematics natural science engineering
Sciences there are nine keyword and six keyword are matched if uh just analyze complex engineering problems to problem is related to uh multinational Bank to in out of nine keyword six are matched so we can calculate 67% so here we can give the two and again we have to develop if
