First give an honor to God who’s thee of My Life um I thank you all for the invite to just spread a little bit about about what I’m passionate about HBCU and the Divine eye so this right here is just a brief U moment in history about
HBU HBCU and we’ll discuss the Divine n historically black colleges and universities are affectionally known as HBCU are public and private institutions established before the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in the United States from their Inception HBCU gifted black people with access to education which was denied to
Them during slavery and segregation the institutions also provided a safe space to learn discover and build community so why do HBCU exist before the abolish abolishment of slavery in 1865 anti- literacy laws P prevented enslaved and free black people from obtaining an education these laws existed because slave owners and
Anti-abolitionist feared that if enslaved and free people of color became literate they would no longer be able to control them without that without that control their economy which was built on slave labor would collapse although free people of color were allowed to attend white universities in the states that abolish
Slavery they still face avert racism and discrimination by their white peers black students also tended not to Fair very well at White institutions because they work significant um gaps in their education and not ready for college so the growth of HBCU seeing a need and opportunity for reform Quaker
Philanthropist Richard humph founded the institute for colored youth in Cheney University Cheney um in Cheney Pennsylvania in 19 in 1837 he wanted to create an institution for former enslaved African-Americans to learn basic skills like Reading Writing and math so they could become equipped for the world that they were entering in as
Free people this institute eventually became chaining University of Pennsylvania the first HBCU gradually more universities were established with large surge of new institutions coming into existence after the passing of the second morale Act of 1890 the ACT required states that supported the ACT required states that supported racial segregation
In in schools grad and fund public institutions for black students schools and black communities face many hurdles when funding and access to resources became a major barrier this increase in funding led to more black people attending college and thus the need for more schools impact of HBCU today currently there are 107 HBCU
HBCU located throughout the United States while HBCU are no longer the only path to higher education for people of color and African descent due to the Civil Rights Act of 1964 black students still attend them in increasing numbers HBCU remain and refuge for students to dwell further into their cultural heritage and Excel
Academically without fear of discrimination Georgia is home to 10 HBCU Albany State University sorry Clark Atlanta University Fort Valley State University inter inter denominational theological center morouse College School of Medicine morouse College moris Brown College Payne College Savannah State University and Spellman College so we’re going to transition to local
HBCU morouse College was founded on February 14th 1867 at the historic Springfield Baptist Church in Augusta Georgia as Augusta Institute by the Reverend William Jefferson white with the Reverend Richard C culture and the Reverend Edmund turny in 1879 Augusta Institute moved to Atlanta’s Friendship Baptist Church and became Atlanta B Baptist
Seminary in 1897 the name of changed to Atlanta baptist college and finally in 1913 Atlanta Baptist College changed its name to morouse college to honor Henry Lyman morouse who was the correspondent Secretary of the American Baptist Home Museum pay college is a private historically black Methodist College in
Augusta Georgia it’s affiliated with the United Methodist Church and Christian Christian Methodist Episcopal Church it was founded on November 1st 1882 by the color Methodist Episcopal church now Christian Methodist Episcopal Church a historically black denomination and the Methodist Episcopal Church South now United Methodist Church a historically white denomination the school was named
After the late Bishop Robert Payne the divine nine as we celebrate Black History Month is important to acknowledge remarkable Legacy of the divine nine at the start of the 20th century a handful of enterprising black students began to form their own fraternities and sororities on college campuses these students saw the need to
Foster communal bonds while on campus and to increase professional opportunities after their Collegiate Experience fast forward fast forward to today the Divine N is a collective of black fraternities and sororities that are governed by the National panh helenic Council so which Greek letter organizations are a part of the divine

Word of God for the people of God glory [Applause] glory at this time I’d like to uh present our speaker for the hour amen he’s the one that coordinated and uh allowed things to fall in place for this event to happen today he’s none other than the
Reverend Trevor gray just like to say that um he was born in uh Manhattan New York amen and at the age of 16 he moved to buett South Carolina amen and from there he attended the Battery Creek High School and after graduation he attended warhe College where he obtained a Bachelor of Science
In Business Administration and a year after graduating he moved to Chicago Illinois and there he enlisted in the United States Navy amen and then work he worked there as an interior communication electrician for 11 years uh after getting injured he was discharged uh in May of
1992 and after that he attended the uh graduate school at Colorado Technical College and earned his Masters in information system Security Management that was in February 2009 and he presently works at parations Corporation at Fort Garden as an information assurance security engineer he was licensed to preach the gospel in
1991 amen he’s been on the battlefield f for a while at the Christian Valerie Baptist Church in Chicago illino Illinois and he did that while he was serving in the Navy he also served as a deacon at this church worked in the prison ministry was an evangelist amen
And after a while amen he also served in the Stevens Ministry amen and he also served as a pastoral care Minister for how County Hospital and as I also served at the coastal count crisis chaplain while living in Charleston South Carolina uh right now his home church is
The Garden Grove Baptist Church but he comes to us from the Full Gospel Baptist Church in cooksville Maryland under the pastor of Reverend Charles y Davis amen and thank God later on he was moved to join that church in 2015 and at present he’s here with us at the Garden of Grove

Time get on board oh get on [Applause] board Hallelujah yeah hey amen amen hallelujah people get ready for as the train coming amen amen that that fits perfectly well with my topic amen because we are the divine nine and we all know about a road trip amen so I’m going to take you guys
On a road trip to South ation University amen sir amen is that all right that’s all right we going to go on a road trip amen you know we love a good road trip amen all right let me take my time here God is good first of all I
Want to give honor to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I want to give honor to my pastor God bless you to the ministers the deacons the mist of ceremony and especially you all for taking the time time out to come and worship with us this morning this is going to be a
Worship experience amen and that’s what it’s all about we came to give God the praise we came to give God the glory we G give God the honor that’s due unto him because he woke us up this morning amen don’t think your alarm clock just because it went off woke you up this
Morning cuz somebody alarm clock went off but they’re not here today amen so it’s nothing but the Lord that allowed us his grace and his Mercy not only to get up but to just walk into this church amen on your own accord can nobody do you like Jesus like
Jesus I know nobody Can Do Me Like Jesus no mama she couldn’t Do Me Like Jesus my brother couldn’t Do Me Like Jesus my sisters can’t do me like like Jesus can nobody do us like Jesus amen because God loved us so much that his son died for our sins in order to
Believe in Jesus I would like to take you on a road trip to Salvation University from The Book of Romans amen but before we get before we begin that amen that trip let me say this as members of fraternities and sororities we all are familiar with road
Trips we would road trip to a boule hey we would road trip to a conclave we would road trip to a step show we will road trip to a a district or regional meeting we were road trip to another College just to have fun amen
Yes sir but the purpose of the road trip was to go and visit your your particular fraternity or sorority so that you can learn something to bring back to your chapter amen because we can always learn something from somebody else even though we’re doing the same thing we all in
Christ but we all present Christ in different ways amen can nobody do you like Jesus so how many of us are spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to our fraternity Brothers to our sorority sisters to our families to our friends and to our neighbors we say we’re Christians and have accepted
Christ as Lord and Savior but we fail to spread the good news of the Gospel of Salvation to the world Amen we fail we have stopped evangelizing to people we love we stopped evangelizing to people we care about we stop evangelizing to people in the world we he just completely stopped
Am am how many of you know when you first received Christ you couldn’t stop telling somebody about the good news I’m telling you when I got saved glory be to God I thought I was a fireman but I had that ho and I was just spraying people
With the Holy Ghost I was just spraying them with the word of God and then I look back in the water like where the water somebody done turn the valve off sometimes we shut the valve off when we are serving Christ and if you shut the valve off can’t put out no
Fires people going to burn up amen care nobody do you like Jesus you see the divine nine is extremely important to our culture but I will submit to you that your salvation is more important than your culture salvation is just as important now as it is as it was even when it’s important
Now and even more when it’s time for us to leave this earth and our Earthly bodies I know talking about death amen we don’t we don’t want to talk about death amen but we have to talk about death because death is there amen it’s there it’s a part of life amen and it’s
Challenging however life is short yes it is death is searching and Eternity is forever so we must prepare now because we don’t know when Jesus is coming back the word of God says no man knows the hour nor the time when the son of man is
Going to return nor do we know when it’s our time to get on board amen so we got to prepare now for our road trip cuz we going to take a final trip amen and we going to get on board and we going to transition from Earth to
Heaven so why road trips you know and I say it because it’s a topic that all the fraternities can relate to amen and not only fraternity but people cuz some of y’all took road trips amen but you just didn’t call it road trips you call it a vacation amen you went to
Jamaica you went to Greece you came to the big city of Augusta Georgia say that amen but you took a trip amen amen you took a trip and we thank God for his son dying on the cross amen so I know after I became an Omega in
1978 at Vorhees College the first thing I did was do a road trip cuz I wanted to learn what I needed to do as a member of Omega saire Fraternity Incorporated I wanted to learn how to step I wanted to learn how to be an Omega I wanted to
Learn things that were that that I needed to know that I can share with other people amen all right but I submit to you that this road trip is a life transforming experience that will Propel you for a life of serving Jesus Christ it will transform your life into a life
Of love a life of Peace a life of Joy it will give you strength and empowerment to maneuver through this thing that we call Life by the anointing of the Holy Spirit right so that we can endure hardships as a good soldier for Christ amen now the
Book of Romans is a summary of Christian theology written by the Apostle Paul it explains explains the plan of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ it also warns of the consequences of unbelief and the universal guilt of mankind under the law yes you know a lot
Of us grew up in and out of church didn’t know much about the Bible but the the Epic Sunday school stories that was told for most of us amen with Christian backgrounds but God was working on us amen he was working on us when we didn’t
Even know he was working on us you know and you know he still working you know you doing this but he’s still working you doing this but he’s still working you where you are right now but guess what he’s still working he’s still working many of our
Friends didn’t give their life to Christ at that time but the Romans road gave us confidence to share the hope that we found in Christ amen so what was the significance of the original Romans road amen the Roman Road system refers to an extensive collection of roads that
Connected room to the furthest regions of the empire in the beginning these roads were largely built on Military reason for built for military reasons to March Roman Legions to places where they needed to go in ad. 300 there are over 53,000 miles of Romans roads throughout the Roman Empire Roman roads were exceptionally
Built Well just like when God Build You Up he builds you well amen when you get on that road for Christ oh he going to build you well amen you’re right can nobody do you like Jesus you know and some of those roads they still use today
What made them so effective was they didn’t not weave around the terrain instead the Roman Engineers cut straight through the terrain so that the Roman’s Road would always be straight you see we a little crooked you know we a little crooked you know and then when when
Christ came into your life you know you kind of straighten up amen amen and and now you’re able to walk straight you know amen we know sometimes that life will come it’s going to show up amen and you’re going to get back to you know and that wind going to hit
You again and you going to been some more amen but then you going to call on the Lord amen you say Lord I need your help help me right now and then your mind and your body was like this but then it’ll begin to straighten up and then you can say
Thank you Jesus amen can nobody do you like Jesus these Roman roles played an intrical role in the spread of the early Christian Christianity from Jerusalem particularly during the apostolic age while the Apostle Paul used the SE as travel as as well he often traveled via
The Roman roads many of the churches he started were major on the Roman roads so you can also see the influence of the Roman Roose system in Des in this description of the seven churches and revelations in Chapter 2 and 3 all these churches were accessible on the Roman
Row system so it’s safe to say that the gospel likely was have would not have spread nearly as far far in the days of the church without the elaborate system of the Romans wrote All right but the the Romans road I’m talking about say that is not physical all right but
Rather a series of Evangelistic Biblical verses from The Book of Romans that lays out God’s Plan of Salvation when these verses are arranged in order they form an easy systematic way to explain the biblical message of Salvation glor so don’t think that is hard y’all matter of
Fact get hard out of your brain amen CU When you think about hard you think about a brick when you think about hard you think about a rock when you think about hard you think about the wall so don’t think it’s hard just think that it’s challenging because God is going to
Challenge you amen he’s not going to make it hard for you but he’s going to challenge you to do what he wants you to do amen because you say Lord forgive me I was a sinner saved by grace all right I believe your son died on the cross just for a little old
Me so God if you will let me into your kingdom my Lord I believe that your son die and forgive me of my sins right I will serve you you said amen can nobody do you like Jesus I’m trying to get through this so y’all can go home amen all right this Roman
Rose taken this Roman rose that be taken the five verses that we that people will walk through or I will walk through through Eternal salvation and separation from God the consequences of sin amen is the substitutionary death of Jesus the human response of God’s offer of Salvation all right and a description of
Salvation availability consists in the five verses from the New Testament that explained the plan the Plan of Salvation through Christ you see God had a plan amen he planned for his son to die Amen on this okay amen amen God is good it’s coming during my studies I found that
Jack Hillis Hy L es is the INF famous 20th century Independent Baptist preacher sir claim to have invented the system in 1970 in a 1970 sermon amen this system called the Romans road this can’t be verified however because the verses were short and easy to memorize and express such a compact description of
Salvation Amen to the script of Salvation the Romans road spread quickly as a tool for Christians to share their faith yes sir before the popularity of the Romans road Evangelistic system these verses in Romans were some of the most recognizable verses in the New Testament today they are some of the
Most memorized verses in the New Testament all right let’s take a road trip go ahead amen all right I would like you to know amen that there’s no tuition at Salvation University I would like you to know amen it’s no Roman board at Salvation University
I would like you to know you don’t have to take the SAT all you need is the ABC amen can nobody do you like Jesus amen I know I’m not talking about the alphabet I’m talking about a you need to admit that you’re a sinner B you have to believe
In Jesus Christ and that he died for your sins in see you have to confess it amen that’s all that’s required at Salvation University and I guarantee you am mittance will be yours amen can nobody do you like Jesus guaranteed acceptance and guess what all is welcome
It’s just not for us in here but it’s that it’s for them out there as well amen so our first stop Amen on the road to Romans salvation is Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God we all have sin we all have
Done things that are displeasing to God there is no one who is innocent God intended for us to live a perfect in a perfect relationship with him but every person who have ever lived has has broken his commandment and you can’t sit there and say that you didn’t because we
Are sinners saved by grace can nobody do you like Jesus the Bible teaches us in Romans 5 and12 that sin entered in the world through the first Adam because of Adam’s sin we were incapable of meeting God’s standards sin isn’t just something we do it’s our
Nature the word of God said we were born in sin and we are shaped in iniquity however there’s Grace at Salvation University glory be to God however there’s love at Salvation University glory be to God however there’s peace at Salvation University there’s healing at Salvation University there’s strength at Salvation
University cuz Can’t Nobody Do You Like Jesus Oh Glory our second stop go ahead on the road to Salvation University is Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death yes sir the wages of sin is death a wage amen yes sir a fixed payment Lord we
Struggle amen now y’all know we don’t struggle Amen to get some wages so we can put food on the table we struggle to get some wages to put clothes on our back we’ll struggle to get some wages so that we can feed our families through black history we struggled the
Wages of life and death so that we can have freedom but I submit to you that Jesus one day Jesus for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life the punishment that we have earned for our sins is death not just physical death
But Eternal death this defines the consequences of our sin which are twofold because of our sinful life amen yes Lord but more importantly sin leads to Eternal death which is eternal separation from God this verse ends with good news however we’ve earned death in what we deserve but we are offered a
Free gift that we don’t deserve amen glory to God we are offered a free gift of eternal life uh through Christ Jesus Oh Glory Glory Oh Glory can nobody do you like Jesus the third stop on this road to Salvation glory be to God is
Romans 6:23 and 5 Romans 5 and 8 amen all right r road to Salvation picks up in the middle of Romans 6:23 but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our God proves his love for us in that while we were yet sinners
Christ died for us Jesus died for our sins his death was paid in full for our Salvation through his death and his resurrection our debt our wage our wage was satisfied thank you Lord thank you Lord and only Christ could have done it can nobody do you like Jesus
Amen after we’ve established our sinfulness the consequences of sin and the hope of Eternity in Romans 5’8 paints a vivid picture of God’s love for us even when we were at our worst God loved us God love is not abstract he loved us so much that even when we were Sinners
God gave his son to die for us this is arguably the clearest most powerful most explicit description of God’s love ever written say that the fourth sty on the road to Salvation University yeah Romans 10 and9 that if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus died on
The cross and rose from the dead you will not may be not might be not could be not a little bit not a big bit but you will be [Applause] saved because of Jesus death on our behalf we all have to do all we have to
Do is believe in him trusting in his death as the payment for our sins and we will be saved Romans 10:13 says it again for everyone everyone everyone everyone everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved amen amen can nobody do you like Jesus
Paul tells us how we can respond to the gospel a firmly and accept God’s free offer of Salvation Paul has already told us that we cannot do we cannot earn God’s gift no so we shouldn’t think of confessing and believing as Works amen but as a faithful response to the offer
Of Salvation everyone who calls on his name will be saved finally Paul REM reminds us that our Salvation that salvation is for everyone no matter where we’re from what what we it doesn’t matter amen where we from how intelligent you are what’s your social economical class is it doesn’t matter
How much money you make it doesn’t matter if you don’t have no money all that matters is that God has offered you a free gift of Salvation and all you have to do is just ask you know when y’all was little y’all had Mas and daddies and you asked for
Something they was glad to give it to you amen so when you ask for this thing called salvation he’s glad he stands up with his chest my son my daughter they is asked hey you go freely a gift amen glory be to God so our final road to Salvation say
That Romans 5 and one has this wonderful message therefore since we have been justified through faith we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through Jesus Christ we can have a relationship of Peace you know that peace that some of y’all don’t have right
Now God give it to you you know that peace that when you’re in a relationship when it’s not going right God will give it to you you know that peace that you don’t have with your brother or your sister that you pledge with glory be to
God and they looking at you with the the side eye and you looking at them with the other eye that peace that peace that peace God will help fix it amen can nobody do you like Jesus Hallelujah glory be to God therefore is no condemnation for those who are in
Christ because of jesus’ death on our behalf we will never be condemned of our sins finally we have this precious promise of God from Romans 8 38 and 39 for I am convinced that neither death nor life nor angels nor demons nor present nor future nor any powers nor
Height nor depth nor anything else in creation will separate me from the love of God because you know Jesus he decided when he had a talk with his father and he said when they was talking his daddy said I need I need someone that I can send to bring this
World uh some peace H I need somebody that I need to go just for you and just for me and Jesus said Oh Daddy Oh Daddy I’ll go for you just because you act H glory be to God and he came down uh 32 Generations uh and then one day they had
Him had him pick up this Old Rugged Cross and he began to take that cross uh to galara you can see uh him with that cross uh on his shoulder every step he took uh he said uh I’m doing it uh just for you you I’m doing it just for you
And he took that cross and they got him up on that hill and when they got him on the hill glory be to God they laid that cross down and they spread his arms wide and they took that old nail and they nailed it in the left hand H and they
Nailed it in the right hand uh and they crossed his feet and they nailed his feet on top of that as if that wasn’t enough uh they took a crown of thorns and put it on his head and you can see uh that Crown going down into his scalp and they
Raised that old cross yes yes upward and your Savor he just hung there with his arms spread wide with his feet nailed his head bent glory be to God hallelujah and you know what he said he said father father oh Father forgive them for they
Know not what they do so he dropped his head and he died and oh Satan was happy oh Satan was glad cuz they took him to a bar Tom and they laid him in that old grave that coold that dirt and he laid there for
Three days uh oh Satan told his boy he said I want you to do something I want you to go and I want you to check and see if Jesus is still there so he went on Friday and he came back a report and he said uh he’s still there he said good
I got him I got him glory be to God then he Saturday came glory be to God and he sent this boy I need you to check again to see if he’s still there and he went over and he looked in oh and he came back and he said yes he stood there
Glory be to God early Sunday morning he went over and he looked and he was surprised and he said what where he goes he got up he got up with all power in his hand and he died for you that you may have eternal
Life God is a good God can nobody do you like Jesus all right now salv University all salvation University all right now open for applications anybody anybody that’s here today that want to sign up right for salvation Salvation University yes Lord this is your time this your
Time and the reason is your time because we don’t have time we don’t know when it’s our time you may be here right now and you might not make it back home you may be here right now but you may not get up in the morning so the time is
Now to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior if you heard this word Don’t Be Afraid God gave you a sound mind of power and of Might yeah he didn’t give you a mind to be afraid that’s right and say I might get up you know that preacher is
He talking to me I don’t know you know the devil put all these thoughts in your mind amen it takes a moment to get saved but in a lifetime to live like Christ amen we forever learned Le amen and we forever asking God for forgiveness cuz me too me
Too you know Lord forgive me you know we all do things consciously and unconsciously that we know we shouldn’t do but this is your opportunity if there’s anyone in the house today that would like to give their life to Christ you can amen if there’s one in the house today
That’s just want to read that dedicate God accepts that too no ABC amen you don’t have it’s already paid for how many of y’all want to go on a trip that’s already paid for huh [Applause] amen he said people get ready cuz there’s a train come don’t need no ticket amen man just
Get on board get on Pastor can I go down uh Minister can I go down front or do I need to stay here amen God nobody do you like Jesus all right [Applause] now and I came church thank you oh I’m sorry see see that’s what happen when you get
Excited about Jesus amen and we had a conversation you know I said where I was from and all this and all that and I decided that I’ll come here under what we call watch care amen he watching me I’m watching you we watching each
Other to see if it’s a fit amen amen cuz you don’t want to do anything without God Amen and you don’t want to do anything too rational amen cuz your place of worship is a special place for you you know when you worked all day amen and you worked all night and you
Need some peace so you come to your church amen and he had a conversation with my pastor Pastor Davis you see is a order in which we do things the word of God said do things in decency and in order and the order was before I say that I’m going to join here
And change my membership I need to get him and him and my pastor together and let them have a conversation and so they did so I submit to you Garden Grove Baptist Church that I’m coming to be a member of God and the grow Baptist Church and Augusta George
Amen amen I ain’t going nowhere now I done said I’m committed amen and I just wanted to let you all know that I appreciate everything that you do for me I appreciate Pastor for what he does and the ministers and how we all work together amen and we work together for
The glory of God but you know why right cuz can’t do you like Jesus amen you can bring it with him you can bring it with him no no as as Reverend gray comes back to the pull pit we want to uh make this official amen when people come
To the pool pit what I like to do is uh at the Baptist Church we do everything by uh motion and second amen but today we’re not going to do a motion in second amen we’re going to extend a right hand of Welcome to him amen because
Uh if someone vote you in they can vote you out so we’re not going to vote into the church amen I’m going to receive after talking with his Pastor he comes highly recommended he’s giv us a word today we’re going to receive him into the garden grow Baptist Church with this
Right hand of welcome and he has all rights and privileges as any other member here at the Garden of Gro Baptist Church and with that being said we just want to thank God for for the man of God as he shared to the people of God also
Want to just make one thing clear amen all you have to do is just believe it and receive it if you will today uh sign on to God’s word and believe God is who he say he is he will do what he say will do then just by putting simple faith in
His son Jesus Christ will make you a child of God I don’t care who don’t like you amen that’s just the way it is amen so if you want uh to have a knowledge of the word of God and believe in Jesus Christ you can ENT and now a personal
Relationship that can never be severed and never be lost we’re still moving forward and uh we just want brother chanler to give us a sample of another selection and during that selection amen whatever he gives us amen we’re going to let that uh close out our live stream
Amen I’m from a old board Church back in home and I’m a m of Garden Grove now but we used to had a old mother to sing a song go something like this we are tossed and driven on this Restless sea of time somber skies and Hing Tempest are to see a bright
Sunshine in that land of per perfect day when the Mist has rolled away we will understand it better by and by by oh when the morning and all the same of God I G home we’re going to tell tell the about how we overcome we will understand it better by and
By she said another verse we are often dis of the things that life demand want a food and want a shelter thirsty Hills and baren land we are trusting in the Lord and according to his word we will St it better by and by let us say it again by and by by [Applause] oh and all the of God God I GA we’re going to tell tell the story about and we will understand it better we will understand it one of these morning understand it it won’t be very long stand it back we’ll understand it better we’ll understand it better yeah we’ll understand it
Better one more time we’ll understand understand it better by and by amen amen [Applause] Amen amen what a blessing amen if you brought it to Garden of Grove don’t take it back home amen and he didn’t take it back home amen uh if y’all will allow me just to acknowledge some people that are here amen we have ch ch chaplain Joshua
Snider from Fork Gordon we just want you to stand thank God for your presence [Applause] amen and please don’t think I’m uh a bias here but uh let me just go to the omegas okay amen uh our very own the very second Minister that was ordained from this church uh Bishop Willie
Jackson Vietnam veteran pay College grass bishop and if you all will let me recognize this man amen Dr Michael Homan amen I want to recognize him I want to say something about Dr homman will you stand amen amen amen God bless you appreciate you so much uh I think it’ll tie in with
What the speaker has talked about today he talked about the Roman Road uh I think most of you know if you’ve been there I I understand the Roman the road Network system they have one something called the Autobon I’ve never been there I’ve never rode it but I understand it
Is pretty much a good long straight stretch amen uh I since I’ve never been there all I think Dr Homan I can really say I do understand uh the Jordan River I because we were there five years ago I do understand amen there at the Red Sea
Amen when the ladies uh my wife got in there and uh I think that was the Red Sea where you were amen yeah she got in the water there and put some the mud on that was supposed to have healing properties amen but we still having some
Uh uh still having some pains amen so uh the autobond doesn’t is is not totally straight uh the mud out of the Red Sea don’t take away all the pain but I I am convinced amen if we will get on the spiritual Roman Road where it says the
Romans 1089 if you will confess with your mouth and believe in your heart God has raised Jesus from the dead Thou shalt be saved God will take care of it and then go to go to um Jehovah Rafa the Lord Our God who heals thee amen if we
Go to if we take the spiritual Road amen it’s good to get on the Roman aabon but it’s nothing better than Romans 1089 we always call that the Roman Road to Salvation so uh amen uh as we go back to Israel we had such good memories up
There in Israel uh I want you to know one of the first people that we baptized amen she’s here amen uh Dr alrey Woods was there also but we have M Francis homman I just want you to stand because you were baptized [Applause] Amen Reverend Clarence Moore and I did about uh say 15 baptism and she was one of the ones that we were able to baptize in the Jordan River and that was a Hallelujah good time back in the day and I also want to just say say this and I’m
Closing eye that uh since I don’t have a sorority uh or fraternity my main thing is uh baseball player okay so I’m just representing uh all of the uh teams from back in the back in the day Reverend gra and the Ministers of responsible for me getting this jacket first thing I want
To know is where is the Atlanta black crackers my daughter was pointing they’re right here amen amen they are really a team the Atlanta black crackers my uh High School science teacher played with them and hit over 40 home runs for them amen so we
