A Fraternity/Sorority organization is a group of individuals of similar interests bonded together by common goals and aspirations. These bonds are created through rituals in which all members participate.
Rituals are based on common principles such as honor, friendship, truth and knowledge, to name a few. Each group works to instill these ideals in their members through their everyday activities. Why join a Fraternity or Sorority?
Provides students with various opportunities to be involved in their chapter, the FSL Community, and university. Helps members fine-tune their leadership skills by providing leadership retreats and workshop series. Why Join a Fraternity or Sorority? The organizations’ national board also provides internships, scholarships, and leadership experiences.
The brotherly & sisterly bonds that will form & memories that will be created is what separates FSL from other college organizations. What are some of the activities that Fraternities/ Sororities do? Volunteer Projects, Fundraise and educate about their Philanthropy, Study Groups and Study Sessions
Socials with other campus organizations, Sisterhood/Brotherhood events to build community within the organization Collaborate on initiatives with other campus groups, such as the Check It bystander intervention program End of year Formals where you get to dress your best! And so much more!
