L TR On this way I Start [Applause] P All right I’ll catch up This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it this is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad in it I know we can do a little bit better than that God brought us through this
Week and if your week has been anything like my week your worship needs to be a little bit more on 100 the more you bless them the more you praise him the more he will bless you and we serving a god of a much more in 2024 so in
2024 Our Praise should match the blessings that we know we’re going to receive so I ask that you stand on your feet and give God praise on today and not just a lukewarm praise just remember that he brought you through 2023 and now you’re in 2024 this is the second month of
2024 there were some people that didn’t wake up this morning but he put you on the list to open your eyes onday and for that we give God praise right now just take a moment and just reflect on God’s goodness we’re dressed in our colors we’re representing our
Schools we’re here but only by the grace of God we are just one blessing away from losing it all never forget that right now I’m going to call on my sister deaconness Dr Tracy Gardner representing Alpha Kappa Alpha Sor Incorporated for our Invocation good morning Saints so as we begin our worship service we want to invoke the holy spirit in this place we are grateful to be here as my sister Roselyn said but we want to make sure that whenever uh we gather together more than two gathered together that we invoke the holy spirit

Sight that you have to continue to work together in unity to maintain the things that God has given us so on this day that we always remain mindful that we did not get here alone that somebody had to pay the price and each one of these organizations have people in them that
Believed in the Lord thy God that would get them through each one one of these organizations are Christian organizations and we want people to be mindful of that it is not by accident that we are in the Church of God right please don’t mistake that the Lord thy
God continues to bless us and keep us and if you went to a historically black college if you had a family member who went to a historically black college if your child goes to an historically black college right there is someone who couldn’t get in who had everything
Possible but could not get into another University and so historically bad colleges were made do not take your right to an education for granted they are Banning books right now Lord have mercy please know that in the State of Florida the Bible came up as a book to
Ban so please know that this is that these are gifts from God so we’re going to ask the Holy Spirit to come in this place as we worship and fellowship and we’re going to pray as Jesus taught his disciples to pray Our Father who art in heaven
Hallowed be thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven give us this day our our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debors and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil for
Thine is the kingdom the power and the glory for now and forever Amen you may be seated but not for long cuz we know the worship team is coming and the worship team is not here for entertainment the worship team is to usher in the holy spirit so we are going to be participants in Praise on today amen all Right As we enter into this holy place we give RTO your holy all glory and hon belongs to you for you are worthy and we give your name of Praise as we enter into this heart ho place we give re unto your Holy Name all glory and H belong to you for you are

Such a need the African-American Greek lettered organization movement took on the Persona of being a Haven and outlet for black college students it was a movement designed to Foster Brotherhood and Sisterhood in the pursuit of bringing about social change through the development of programs that would create positive change for black people
The country and the world today the need Remains the Same collectively these black fraternities and sororities are known as the divine nine and have created the National panh helenic Council to Foster coop operative actions of its members in dealing with members of mutual concern the primary purpose
And focus of the members of the divine nine remains Community awareness and action through educational economic and cultural service to them Greek membership goes beyond the Collegiate Experience as members of each of the nine organizations view their membership as a lifetime commitment the divine nine began with the first black fraternity Alpha
Alpha which was founded in 1906 the first black sorority Alpac Kappa Alpha was founded in 1908 Kappa Alpha SCI fraternity and Omega Sci-Fi fraternity were founded in 1911 Delta sigmaa sorority was founded in 1913 F Beta Sigma fraternity was founded in 1914 Zeta Beta sorority its sister organization was founded in
1920 Sigma gamma row sorority was established in 1922 and Iota Theta fraternity was founded in 1963 Thison we to black history in our stud home we [Applause] To he was the first blackademy a for the best only being the first is audition and not able to he he per he persevered he persevered and went to win many Rewards that’s our time thank you for on [Applause] news PR Chur [Applause] [Applause] Of 2 [Applause] show On [Applause] all right okay it brings me this pleasure actually it brings me this honor to uh give this tribute to our late Pastor Weaver um like was mentioned before he graduated from Florida Memorial University um going through this uh process just growing up in the church pastor Weavers
Meant a lot to us we’re family he he led us guided us with Christ and first I just want to thank God for allowing him bestowing Pastor Weaver in this church using him as a vessel and everybody knows how strong he was in spirit and
The things he’s done for for all of us um this past uh last year around um uh his homegoing service there was uh plenty of people giving their testimonies their Recollections what passor Weaver is done for for them and and I can say he’s done a lot for me as
Well and if we could have gone all night we could have been spent the whole week talking about how great Pastor Weaver was he was amazing he was a great character it was a great [Applause] Pastor um so I just want to kind of start it off with how he’s touched my
Life and touched my soul um for those who may not know I growing up I was a little bit of a problem child you know little trouble kid I was stubborn and lazy so but um pastor we he came down to my school and uh Elementary School over
Here at Webster Elementary uh talked to the principles talked to the staff and I seen him in there and I was like he really came here for me and just and he began to talk to them asking him what can you do for him how can you how can
You get him more involved and and and and began to to talk to them and then he prayed over me and prayed over my family prayed with my mother and from then on teachers nothing but good reports and they said just totally engaged and involved in the lesson plans and I
Completely changed after that and it’s a blessing just to uh you know come out I know he would be happy for me because now I’m going to Howard University shout out my Howard alumar and I’m also a three- time graduate not one not two but three times went to Community College graduated from
There graduated from Southern Connecticut got my bachelor now I just graduated from NYU and I’m ready to start my dental career at Howard [Applause] so but that’s not even what the best thing he’s done for me cuz I came in this church and I grew up
And as I was growing up uh I had spent some time away and I came back and then I seen uh co-pastor Weaver and I was asked by m who’s who who’s uh co-pastor Weaver and she said that’s his son I said oh he had
Another son he he I thought I was his only son I said where did it come from but it’s okay CU I have a brother in Christ and I’m thankful for that and um and then I started to realize I look we have a picture of the the Weaver
Family in our in our house and I walk by it every day and I and I realized I was like oh these are his sons I thought I had to photoshop my my picture in there because I’m a part of the family too so
And I just want to say I love you and I love your family and you guys done a lot for me and like I said the best thing he’s done to for me is bring me to Christ Christ and save my soul I can stand up here and proclaim the name of
Jesus and tell you how great he’s been to me with like it says in Mark uh 8 um for what shall a man profit if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul so I could have gotten all these stuff all the riches in the world that doesn’t
Matter if you don’t find Jesus it does not matter give your life to Christ and um yeah I just I love the Lord and he’s uh he’s allowed me to see that see see how great Jesus is and and I’m very thankful for him and we all deely miss him
So thank you Pastor [Applause] rer [Applause] Ch Am you Amen amen amen thank you so much Sunday morning Bible study for your presentation and brother Malik Pastor WEA was a great man and he left a legacy a genuine Legacy and all of us we will never forget him now we’re going to have the reading of the word

Month of February for the year 2024 February is gone we have gathered in this Sanctuary with the theme of Black History Month this Sunday has been designated for the galvanizing of the D9 the Divine n Organization for the men and the women of the fraternities and the sororities
Today I can glance out and see the Greek letters and the colors Associated to each of the organizations I said this before but it needs to be stated again when we were in college we came in as freshmen and we were still holding on to Mother’s apron and then we joined these
Organizations the fraternities and sororities and sometimes our best friends or people who we were connected where they went to a different organization and we became almost Frenemies to each other which was really silly of us at that time because all of us when you place our models our themes our statues
Together they all parallel each other and we allow kindergarten colors the creol the box to separate us from doing the greater good to all Humanity the pride of each organization is evident here and all those who over the years wore the letters and the colors proudly
It is here today that we say and acknowledge ourselves that we are the divine nine but there’s only one Divinity and that’s God I stand here in this sacred Place known as Bethesda Baptist Church of nurel as a son of this house of worship I have been given the assignment
You we have that term now get you get you get your assignment right the assignment to honor this moment and preach from this Pulpit we have already highlighted already today that this is a day that we’re acknowledging so many but this is the first time that I’ve been backed
Into this pull pit to preach since the passing of our pastor Dr Weaver for him not being here in attendance is strange it’s unusual it’s out of the ordinary and the hearts assembled here to Worship in this worship experience you’re looking around and you see the
Impact that he has had on each and every one of us and many of us are nodding our heads in solidarity that in this moment we miss him greatly I have been blessed and I could say Lord has blessed me I have the honor and the title of being a senior pastor
Of First Baptist Church in Bronxville New York I have the honor of being the first African-American Pastor to hold that title in the church is 175 years so someone reminded me that Reverend gramy you are black history yourself and in that I have have the responsibility every single day of
Moving daily with a marking on my back and a measuring in my moment that everything you say and do people are always watching you and with that I could also say that I have memories that are etched in my mind that that today I tell you that
This month and this week this whole series of February is very important to me because it is engraved in the history of my spirit of my Ministry that The God Who woke us up this morning called me to preach the gospel in the month of February it was February 6th 1998 that I
Answered my call to the ministry it was under the Pastoral leadership of our own Reverend Dr Alan Paul Weaver Jr that this past week in February of 98 I preached from this pull pit my first sermon and I was licensed then as a minister minister of the Gospel of Jesus
Christ I can call and recall Church the pivotal events that are on my resume when you go out you have that o that o resume that bio that people read and I can move and recite moment and moment all of my credentials and sometimes you hear it read and it
Sounds as if someone is boasting of and about you but I want to let you know I take on the mindset as the Apostle Paul said in Philippians 3 of the things that he had already acquired I am a son of Bethesda Baptist Church of Nelle I am the pastor of First
Baptist Church of Bronxville I am a legacy of five Beta Sigma fraternity in Incorporated I have been on the cover of our national magazine the Crescent magazine I have preached at the Centennial worship all the preachers that they had in in five b they asked me to preach for the Centennial worship I
Have that on my resume I am a New York City Police Department clergy leaon I am I have all these things that I have in my life I am a a father of three a grandfather of three and a husband of one [Laughter] all of these things are on my resume and
Yet I count it all nothing if I don’t have [Applause] Christ Church on that evening those who occupied the pulpit on that day in February I looked at the picture and every single one of those men have been called home to the Lord our own Pastor Dr weer Reverend Dr Samuel Simpson Reverend
Dr Jerry Mosby that quiet Mentor Reverend Wardell all of those who were in the Pulpit that day have been called home to be with the Lord it was in that moment my Ministry was launched into to a movement to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in season and out of season and
Here I am the text from my initial sermon was from Jude 2425 the sermon title was what a friend we have in Jesus today my brothers and my sisters I return to this text I’ve never preached it since then in this Sanctuary but I return to this
Text however I am changing by the Holy Spirit and Engraving a new title upon this message for today so today’s message is very simply called after the benediction after the benediction the Epistle of Jude is the 65th book in the Christian Bible and the 26 in the New Testament it is the
Shortest one of the shortest books in the Bible for it is only 25 verses long yet the verses for today that we hear Jude 24 and 25 are used more in our houses of worship for the experience of worship at the end of worship from church to church daily
Jude is in the epistle and and and it says these words now unto him who is able to keep you from falling and to present faultless before his presence with exceeding great joy to the only wise God our savior be glory Majesty dominion and power both now and forever
More Jud is the half brother of Jesus Jude gives us this doxology which is is now present and is frequently used as a benediction the congregation we all know over the years we hear this benediction and because it’s like a song to us you see when you hear something
There’s a difference between hearing and listening when we hear the national anthem We rise to our feet when we hear Lift Every Voice and sing emotions are invoked in many of us the same pattern happens in our church life let’s be real about it when at the end
Of worship and we hear the person behind the sacred desk get up and they open up with the benediction and they say and now unto him it’s a different response it’s almost like a p pavlovian experiment that when we hear this coming out and
And we we we hear the words and now unto him many of us stop for a moment brother Ivan and we look at our watches we look at our phones to see what time it is we’re planning the next event some of us start to gather our belongings because we want to leave
Anything in the Pew some glance across the pews and make eye contact with someone you know that that nod of what are we going to do after worship Deacon long and I would nod our heads and we just that means we were going out to have some some waffles and wings you
Know that nod like that’s what we’re doing after worship and it’s in that moment in time that we go forward after the benediction the post church plans are now engaged in your mind and all because you heard that line come out of the pulpit and now unto him Church there’s a difference between
What you hear and what you listen to or listen for you see when you make a moment and take the time to listen to Jude Jude reveal reveals how the blessings of God are being engrafted in your life in this doxology in this time that we use as a benefici benediction when you
Listen to his words and open up your heart and your mind to to have it in you there are many churches that when the benediction is given they close the doors and say no one can leave because you’re leaving without God’s blessing you don’t know what’s on the
Outside of those doors and you need to stop for a moment and stop wanting to run out the door when you hear and now unto him it’s a blessing that you’re listening to it is a salvational blessing that God is given to you it is more than just a benediction because it
Contains God’s grace in it and I’m want to let you know that when you’re listening to this scripture for it contains your future in it this scripture contains your future in it in it in it in it we hear the narrative you have to be in it to what win
It Jude lets you know that you have to be in it after the benediction what are you going to do after the benediction how do you behave or do you misbehave after the benediction we sat together in church and we we nudged each other and we we
Said I’m too blessed to be stressed and praise the Lord and Hallelujah and all the the terms come out of our mouth but after the benediction who are you going to associate with who are you going to Vibe with as a younger generation says who are you going to rock with after the
Benediction and now the text is pinned the text opens up with now the time of now is spiritually crafted so that we are have we all have the opportunity to be blessed and covered by the Lord no matter what the time is it’s always now you see the Lord is so
Amazing God is so just awesome that whether it is 1227 in the afternoon or it’s 2 o’clock in the afternoon the now still applies whether it’s 11 o’l at night you can say still now unto him it doesn’t matter if it’s one 1:00 in the morning you could still
Say now unto him the blessings of the Lord are still in effect and do not have an expiration date to it Church you need to understand that when God gives you a blessing it’s your blessing and only for you now unto him you need to understand that the
Grace and the love of God is Everlasting that’s why the psalmist says and his love endureth forever church it was once preached on a good Friday sermon that when God gives you his blessings when God gives you his love when God gives you his grace and his Mercy it is a
Guarantee and not a warranty you need to hear that again that we live on some things in our life that’s on a warranty a warranty could have a 60-day a 90 day a 2ye a threeyear warranty a seven-year warranty how many of you understand that your refrigerator
Always breaks down the week after the warranty expires but God gives you a guarantee when he says and lo I am with you always that I will never leave you nor forsake you I love that God gives me a guarantee Jude reveals that the time frame with the opening of that the Lord
Gives his favor and we should all really have a shout in our own spirit when we think about that the Lord is saying now you see the now that God gives you is a an anointing now it’s a blessing now it’s it’s a Heavenly now it’s God’s now
And I’m glad it’s God’s now and not Humanity’s now because Humanity now will change on you people will shift based upon how they feel about you that day but God lets you know now unto him now now unto him who is able Church the time is given
And now the subject is also given to the time the one who controls the authority over all time God is not placed in a box where you God is relegated to just here and now God is the same God yesterday today and tomorrow while we’re living in
Today do you realize God is mapping out your tomorrow now unto him who is is able the hym is Jesus the hym is the Lord the hymn is Mary’s baby the hymn is the bright and Morning Star the hymn is El Shai the hym is El ohim the hym is God’s beloved Son
The hymn is the one who came through 40 and2 generations to walk among us to live among us to teach us to give us the way the truth and and the light the hymn is the one who is the Living Sacrifice he is the one who died for our sins the
Hymn is the one who will never leave you nor forsake you the himm is the son of the Living God him is the one who they cried hosana on Palm Sunday and they crucified him on Good Friday what what’s that go there pastor okay the hym is the one who is nailed to
That Old Rugged Cross the him who was on the cross from the 6th to the ninth hour the Hy is the one who hung his head and died from me and for you for our sins the him is the one who was placed on a borrow tomb on Friday night the him who
Is the one who is there on Saturday morning the him is the one who is there on Saturday afternoon the one who is there on on Saturday night that same himy and now unto him who is there but early as Dr W would say ear Sunday morning he got up he got up
He got up with all power in his hand church I’m so glad that the text says now want to him the text doesn’t say next unto him you see there is no next it’s only him now unto him who is able he is able and you need to know that after the
Benediction God is able you need to feel in your very being that after the Ben benediction is rendered today that the Lord is able but not only is God able but you need to have a boldness in your faith and speak it into existence we had a our church
Theme a couple years ago was speaking into existence that sometimes you have to just let God know what you need in your heart in your mind and just speak it out into the atmosphere to let the Angels hear to let those who don’t care about God hear but to let God know that
You believe in him and you have that say and now unto him Paul said who very simply is the Lord is is able to do exceedingly and abundantly you need to let somebody know that you’re speaking to that God and now unto him you see the word word reveals with full
Clarity that he is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless which means blameless without blemish before God the Father you know what when you really think how Jesus is going to present you faultless but Jesus I’ve done some things wrong in my Earth and frame I’m present you
Faultless lord lord I remember some things I didn’t even tell my best friend about I’m going present you faultless Lord I did some things at the Frat party that even my my lion Brothers don’t know I did I’mma present you faultless Lord I remember doing some
Things way back when and way back when could just be yesterday you know sometimes we do that brother Shane we say way back when and it was yesterday and now until him was able to present you faultless before his presence we need to say this church that over the past few
Months I’ve had to learn something I’ve had to learn that I have to make real decisions about how to deal with Worship in my own life life see I’ve learned in the last few months that there are things that will happen in your life and
People will come in and go out of your life and the difference right now I found that there’s a difference between an option and a choice people will come into your life and engage you in because they see you at that moment in time as an option
You’re the option of the moment you’re like the flavor of the week you’re the you’re the option but I want to let you know that I have come into my own mindset that I am not an option that I am a choice and learned from that experience especially with the
Passing of Dr Weaver and so many other people who went home to be with glory in that whole time frame that some people will move on and leave you and that’s okay but I want to let you know you need to tell somebody in your life I’m not an
Option but I’m a choice because Jesus went to Calvary not as an option but Jesus went to Calvary because you are a choice he chose to give his life so that you may have life more abundantly Jesus died for me and died for you but because
He did it because you’re not an option so now my brothers and my sisters the Mandate question is for you today what are you going to do after the benediction after the benediction has been rendered what are you going to do where are you going to go after the
Benediction in all of our organizations we all have criteria we all have themes we all have models we all have codes that we must follow and they’re all very similar as such but also I want to let you know sometimes people get isolated and they become too close together and they
Don’t want to reach out and help somebody else along the way it is in the church that we can remove all the secular affiliations and titles and do what is needed to be the Kingdom Builders here in in Bethesda and in N shell in Mount Vernon in White Plains
Wherever we are we can move away from our title and our positions and be Kingdom Builders here right now can I get an amen on that right now what is your plans today church after the benediction you hear the words and I want you to listen to what the
Lord is doing for you Jesus says he will keep you from falling and present you forless before his presence with great joy you see exceeding Joy lets you know that God’s going to going to present you before God the Father no matter what you have done
All you have to do is believe in Jesus Christ as your lord and savior and the Lord Savior Jesus will show you before the father with exceeding great joy church after the benediction are we going to go out and help the helpless after the benediction are you
Going to go out and feed the hungry after the benediction are you going to house the homeless after the benediction are you going to clothe the naked after the benediction are you going to visit the sick and the shut in after the benediction are you going to help
Somebody along the way after the benediction are you going to counsel the weary after the benediction are you going to encourag the the desperate after the benediction what are you going to do are you gonna walk out the door are you going to make a difference in
Somebody’s life are you going to let somebody know that God blessed me and God gave me some things and I’m going to share with you I want to let you know that after the benediction be the child of God that God has called you out of Darkness into his marvelous life after
The benediction to be somebody somebody after the Benediction you don’t have to be a member of the D9 to be part of giving back to humanity you see church after the benediction I am still going to be called Pastor gramby after the benediction I’m going to have the title of Reverend after the benediction people will call me and and
Use whatever affiliation they have with me as a matter of fact let me put it this way for those of you who who who don’t know after the benediction I can walk out on Lincoln Avenue gather with my brothers and I could just have a simple conversation with them and I could say
Something like this allow me to reintroduce myself my name is l s to the OG r r for those who know me 6 for3 and I’m coolest can be my brothers call me after the benediction that’s what happens after the benediction but I want to let you know
After the benediction I’m still gonna praise God after the benediction I’m gonna let somebody know that God has been good to me after the benediction I’m going to let somebody know that I will bless the Lord at all times his praise shall continually be in my mouth
My soul shall make up oath unto the Lord The Humble shall hear of and be glad oh magnify the Lord with me let us exalt his name together after the benediction I will let somebody know that now unto him who is able to keep you from fall
And present you for before his presence with exceeding great joy to the only wise God our savior I want to let there Dominion this power this Authority from now and forever more after the benediction I’m going to let somebody know that no matter what’s going on in my life I’m Gonna I’m gonna praise God I’m going to praise him in the morning I’m going to praise him in the noon day I’m going to praise him in the Midnight Hour because God has been so good to me God has blessed me when I didn’t even deserve
The bless God has looked down in the mucking of M and pulled me up God and after the benediction after the benediction I want to let somebody know that In This Moment In Time God will give you a choice and you better choose him every single time because God is not
An option God is not an AB BC but God is only one God one Lord one Fai one baptism and you ought to praise God no matter who stop you don’t let anybody stop you from praising God because when it’s all over said and done you would hear God say the words to
You Well Done th good and faithful servant you’ve been Faithful over a few things come on up a little higher I make you ruler over many things I want to let you know that after the benediction I want to hear God just bless me I want to
Hear God keep me I want to hear that God is still still my my God after the benediction SS of God now unto him who’s able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before for his glorious presence without fault and with great joy that’s that’s what I’m talking about
When God gives you great joy to the only wise God our savior be glory Oh Glory Glory say Glory Glory power and authority through Jesus Christ Our Lord before all ages and now now and forever more Saints after the benediction I want you to take a moment and just
Breathe don’t run out the door don’t grab your bag and your personal belongings just stop a moment and breathe and then after the benediction allow God in that Sacred Space to speak to your heart you know that’s what you need to do you need to allow
God to speak to Heart Elder can you just let somebody know about speak to your Heart [Applause] Speak to My Heart Holy Spirit give me the words to bring new life Wings on the words of the morning the Dark Nights will fade away if you speak to my Heart Speak to My Heart Holy Spirit message of love to encourage me lifting my heart from despair how you love me and care for me speak to my Heart Speak to My Heart Holy Spirit give me the words to encourage me LIF in my heart from despair how you love me and care for me St to my heart speak to my heart speak to my heart speak to to my heart speak to my
Heart if you know the words let’s sing this part together speak to my heart give me your hold way if I can’t steal from you that I know what to do I won’t go alone I never go on let your spirit gu let your word abide Speak to My Heart
Lord Give Me Your holy word if I can hear from you then I know what to do I’m going go my own let your spirit guide that’s your word let me hear Speak to My Heart Lord give me your hope if I can’t hear from
You then I know what to do I won’t go alone alone never go on my own let your spirit kind let your word of speak to my heart speak to my heart speak to my heart speak to my heart from the very beginning Speak to My Heart
Lord let be your to speak if I can hear from you then I know what to do I’m want go alone never go on on my own let your spirit gu let your word abide speak to my Heart is God speak into your heart right now we have the privilege the opportunity to open up the door the church this chance for salvation this way you don’t have to wait till after the benediction but if there’s someone here today who wants to give their life to Christ it’s
In this moment in time that we accept you from a like a sister Church of faith we accept you as a candidate for baptism and baptize you in the name of the father Son and the Holy Spirit and we accept you on your own Christian experience however you may fall into any
Those categories the doors of the church are now open and we ask that someone want to give their life to Christ on this day stand where you are and walk out on faith to the aisle come receive be received by the deacons if there’s someone here today wants to like the
Christ we welcome you just as you are just who you are don’t wait until the benediction allow this moment of Salvation to be upon you come to Jesus is there one here wants to give the life to Christ come to Jesus [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] He There may be somebody here who’s thinking you know I can wait until next week to give my life to Jesus I don’t need to do it now I still have time I still have things that I want to do but the Bible lets us know that today
Is the day of salvation every day that the Lord lets us be alive we don’t know if that will be our last day and I’ll share this at my previous church one day I was leaving service and I usually would speak to the pastor before I left who was also my my wife’s
Godfather and on that particular day I was rushing out and so I left and as I was leaving the Lord said go back and say goodbye and I said oh well you know I I’ll see Pastor later on in the week and so I didn’t listen when the spirit
Spoke and before the week was out Pastor had Died you never know when it’s your time to go and Pastor Samson he passed away on Martin Luther King Day in the pull pit down in the city while he was on duty overseeing a worship experience there was no indication that that day was going to be his last day
There is no indication that today is going to be our last day what we know is that we have right now and if you know that right now you have not surrendered your heart and your mind your entire life to Jesus Christ who is the only one who can save you for
All eternity then now is your opportunity we have heard the word we have heard the call now the question is will you receive him and so we’re going to take an extra moment because we don’t want anyone to leave out of this sanctuary and not be Saved and you don’t get another opportunity so today is the day of salvation if there’s anyone and it doesn’t matter what your reasoning is for not coming oh I want to get my life together first I my I’m in shambles I go whatever it is come to Jesus
Anyway and let him work his work out in you so if you’re here today and you have not receive Jesus Christ as your lord and savior this is your opportunity we invite you to come even if you don’t live in the area we can connect you to another church but right
Now now is your opportunity to get connected to Jesus so this is an opportunity doesn’t matter who’s around don’t worry about what other people think be concerned about what God thinks because Jesus says if we deny him down here then when we die and we stand before God on the day
Of judgment he’s going to deny us before his father so it is only while there is still breath in our body and our mind works for us to think and believe that we can receive Jesus as our Lord and savior so once again are there any who want to receive Christ and this
Is not to to to to bully you this is not to to force your hand or twist your arm this is about the urgency of the matter we’re talking about eternity we’re only here on Earth for 50 60 70 80 years 90 plus and then that’s
It and then we step into eternity and our Eternal destination is forever and the Bible lets us know that there are only two choices not even options only two choices we either go to be with God forever in his kingdom or we are rejected by him because we did not
Choose him now and we suffer forever with the devil in the Lake of Fire those are the only two choices and so now is your opportunity are there any who want to receive Jesus we invite you to Come he will save [Applause] you Amen amen and amen after the benediction what will you do if after the benediction today you feel the Lord tugging on your heart it’s still not too late to come find one of us so that we could lead you to the throne of grace and mercy from the Lord
And you can bow your heart at the foot of the cross and receive the Savior and the lord of the world amen amen we want to say thank you to Reverend gramby for the word today after the benediction amen what will we do God bless you brother God bless you

To him and so we can pray right now and he will not only hear us but he promises to answer our prayers we may or may not like the answer but he promises to do what will be best for us and that will bring him glory and will help us to do
